Jane and Lisbon have been married for 3 years, but all is not what it seems. (First fanfiction so please give it a go ) This is Lisbon's POV

Sequel to Awake. Patrick Jane and Teresa are together. Now what? How long can and will they be happy?

Takes place post episode, then goes decidedly AU from there. I don't want to give away the surprise in the summary, so please read on. Spoilers, 5x15.

Après la saison 3. Jane et Lisbon semblent s'être disputés mais qu'en est-il vraiment (ah ah suspens suspens) ? Honnêtement je me creuse la tête pour trouver une autre phrase d'accroche mais j'ai tout donné dans la première. One shot court. Pas de violence ou de vulgarité. Peut-etre un risque de s'étouffer avec la guimauve (décline toutes responsabilité devant un tribunal).

Tag to 3x02 it is a tiny Jane introspective piece involving his youth and how it interlaces with his present.

"We're working toward it though, right? So I haven't missed anything?" Basically how the second half of Season Four brings Jane and Lisbon closer together.

"Mr Thomas Lisbon? This is Special Agent Luther Wainwright of the California Bureau of Investigation. I need to speak with you urgently about your sister, Agent Teresa Lisbon. Please contact me as soon as possible." Lisbon's family during the events of 4x24, "The Crimson Hat".

He didn't want for her to give up on him, getting ready for a life where he wasn't there. He wanted for her to know that she was supposed to wait for him, that he had a claim on her, that he was going to live, to be free, to rebuilt his life aroud her. But Lisbon was resigned to losing him, she believed that he was going to just break her heart. It was time to change her mind.

Red John is caught and killed, but at the price of Teresa Lisbon's life; here are her final thoughts, and maybe just a little more; ON HIATUS.

It had all begun the night after Lisbon almost got shot. - Future fic. Mentions of suicide attempt.

Red John is dead and there's just a big mess in Jane's head. He hadn't gotten his revenge; Lisbon had taken it from him, but not without a reason. Soon Jane realizes how far she was going for him, but even more important: why? ( **JISBON** but not utterly fluffy )

"...is for you to wake up." Rigsby only wants one thing for Christmas...and that's for his best friend to wake up...non-slash...K for implied violence...

"You're going to make it, Jane. It's only a matter of taking it one step at a time, really."

"He turned his head slightly, nose skimming her hair until he found the delicate shell of her ear. "You have to admit - I have good ideas sometimes," he murmured, deliberately letting his lips brush against her sensitive skin. She didn't even bother to hide her shiver. "Sometimes," she breathed, her fingers digging into his back." Jane/Lisbon

Jane finally meets his match.

Lisbon placed her head on the crook of Jane's neck while her left hand was steadied on his chest by his right. "It's just that, everywhere I turned today I encounter people being so happy and content with their child. Rigsby was talking to me about how Benjamin spat on him and he seemed so happy about it. Even Greg was prideful of his three girls."

"'He has her,' Jane stated. Nobody really listened to him. Maybe they knew he was right and didn't want to accept it. They didn't want to acknowledge the fact that despite her tough cop appearance, he would rip her apart with his bare hands." Jisbon, one-shot, Rated T to be on the safe side. Really fluffy at the ending.
