Teresa Lisbon is the poor overworked maid who along with her best friend grace is just waiting to live her life the way she wants. Patrick Jane is the ever adventurous prince who along with his bodyguards rigsby and cho seek out danger and excitement when these 5 characters meet in the story of cinderella who knows what will happen. not as bad as it sound i just suck at summaries

It only took a moment for Patrick Jane to realise that he lived almost exclusively in the past with no hope for a future. It took less than that to realise he wanted a present.

She was desperate and frustrated. It wasn't fair. Not just because of missing opportunities, but because she deserved it. If not his love, at least the truth. Why had he told her he loved her just to take it back, did he know how she felt and took pity on her or had he been honest, and was just scared, because he thought that everything he touched, he ruined it? M tag to 5.13.

Hindsight is a curious thing. It had taken the horror of a bloody smile to make Patrick realize what a lucky man he was, but by then it had been too late. No one was more surprised than him that he got a second chance at happiness...

In spite of all his efforts he just couldn't stop pacing the attic. He wasn't even sure whom he was angry with though. - A missing scene from "When Love Kills Love", but it can be read as a stand-alone fic as well.
