The sun rose over a vast field in the woods, thus signaling the beginning of a new day for many people and Pokémon.
For some people though, it could be their last day on this planet, as it would be with many of the people and Pokémon in the field today.
Somewhere in the woods, a woman woke up; a blond haired woman wearing a blue hoodie, yoga pants, and white sneakers.
Her Lopunny was laying next to her, and she also woke up, with no idea where she and her trainer were.
Looking at each other, and feeling that they're unable to close their mouths all the way, they saw that they both had gags in their mouths.
No matter how hard they tried, they couldn't get them off, and looking at the backs, they saw locks holding them in place.
The two looked around, and when they saw a nearby pond, they noticed that they weren't alone; another woman was there, as well as a Glaceon.
The woman was also blonde, but had longer, more ragged hair, as well as an orange shirt, and tan pants and brown boots, and much like the other woman and Lopunny, she and her Glaceon both had gags in their mouths.
Ignoring Yoga Pants and Lopunny's attempts to get her attention, the woman at the pond removed the name tag on her shirt, and carefully removed the needle on the back that was supposed to secure it to her shirt.
Straightening it out, the woman rubbed the needle against her hair, before placing a leaf into the water, and putting the needle on top of it.
It was a makeshift compass, and the needle pointed towards North.
Once they had a good idea where North was, the woman and Glaceon left, walking in the other direction.
Yoga Pants and Lopunny didn't know what to do, but as they looked around some more, they caught a glimpse of a man wearing a brownish cap, plaid jacket, and black pants, as well as a Jigglypuff walking next to him.
Surely enough, the two also had gags in their mouths.
Yoga Pants and Lopunny followed the man and Jigglypuff, taking them to a wide, open field, with a big crate in the middle.
Looking around, the two saw more people and Pokémon around them, and they all had gags locked to their faces as well.
The man with the Jigglypuff walked towards the crate, with his companion following suit, picking up a crowbar, and handing it to her trainer.
The man walked towards the side of the crate, with the crowbar in his hands, before sliding one end in between the crate's side and the top, preparing to pry it open.
A bearded man wearing a brown cap, and tan button t-shirt with pockets tried to signal to the man that it could be a trap, but he didn't listen and started prying the crate open anyway.
Everyone ran for cover, thinking it was a trap, but when the man pried the crate open and removed the side, the first thing to come out was a Topegi wearing what looked like a brown vest and cap.
"What the fuck?" the man mumbled, despite having a gag on.
Jigglypuff looked further into the crate, and saw something move in the darkness, and she backed off, prepared to attack whatever was in there.
However, she was quick to back off when she saw what was moving: a young man and a shiny Sylveon were in there, bound with rope, and wearing the same gags as everyone outside.
It was Randy and his Sylveon, and both were placed in the crate in case anything else happened.
The man saw a pair of shears next to the crate, and used it to cut the ropes securing Randy's hands and feet.
Randy thanked the man through his gag, then took the knife and used it to cut the ropes on Sylveon, freeing up her paws.
That wasn't it though, for after the two were freed, Randy walked back into the crate a bit, reaching into it.
As he left the crate, he started pulling something out: a large rack on wheels with a bunch of weapons on it, including pistols, a six barrel gun, a sniper rifle, a machine gun, two machetes, and a katana.
This is what got everyone moving, as the others started to make their way towards the crate to take some weapons.
As Yoga Pants and Lopunny made their way towards the crate, they saw a wooden square on the ground, and it had an envelope on it.
Yoga Pants reached into the envelope, and pulled out a key.
Getting an idea, she called out to a nearby man with short brown hair, a brown jacket, and gray pants, almost making him look like a trucker.
Yoga Pants got behind the trucker, and inserted the key into the lock on his gag, and it turned, opening the lock, and allowing the man to remove his gag.
"Thank you," the trucker said, before taking the key, and using it to remove the gag on his Lucario.
Once the gag was off, the truckerused the key to remove Yoga Pants' gag, as well as Lopunny's.
"Hey guys! We have a key!" the man said, getting everyone's attention.
Everyone started taking the key, and using it to remove each other's gags, as Yoga Pants and Lopunny walked towards the weapon rack.
"What's going on out here?" Yoga Pants asked the bearded man, "What is all this?"
"Fuck if I know," the man said, before giving her a pistol, with a Gardevoir the man had with him handing Lopunny a gun too.
"Uhh… I can't use that," the woman said, having never touched a gun before.
The man held his hand out, and made a trigger pulling motion with it.
"Can you do this?" the man asked.
"Yeah," Yoga Pants replied.
"Then you can pull the trigger," the man said, "Take it,"
The man and Gardevoir gave Yoga Pants and Lopunny a gun each, and walked off to grab something for themselves.
As Yoga Pants and Lopunny looked at the guns in their hands, still unsure of how to use them, the trucker and Lucario walked over to help them.
"Here, let me help," Trucker said, pointing to the safety on the gun, "That's the safety, give it a flick, you're ready to party, okay?"
"Thanks," Yoga Pants said, thankful that someone was able to help her.
The two humans and their Pokémon looked back at the crate, where Randy, who just had his gag removed, was using the key to remove Sylveon's gag.
"Hey, are you okay?" Yoga Pants asked him, concerned for him after seeing him and Sylveon bound and gagged in a crate.
"We're fine," he said, having removed Sylveon's gag "Thanks for finding the key, we needed it,"
"What were you two doing inside a crate?" Trucker asked.
"We're not sure," Randy said, "We both woke up possibly hours before the rest of you did, but that time, we were on a plane, and you guys were there too, only you were unconscious,"
Before Randy could say anything more, something loud was heard in the distance.
It sounded like a bunch of gunshots headed their way, and surely enough, bullets started flying past the people and Pokémon.
Randy and Sylveon immediately ducked behind the crate, while Yoga Pants, Lopunny, Trucker, and Lucario rushed to the crate to hide with them.
"That almost hit us," Yoga Pants said, right before two more bullets struck her and Lopunny in the face.
The two of them were killed instantly, as Trucker, Lucario, Randy, and Sylveon watched in horror.
Trucker and Lucario snuck over to the edge of the crate, and were next to the opening, where a woman wearing a pink and purple shirt that read 'Dead Sexy', blue pants, and furry shoes was hiding with her Vulpix.
Randy and Sylveon snuck up to the edge of the crate as well, and saw that the gunfire was coming from a fort in the distance.
Looking on, the six noticed a man wearing a striped shirt and jeans running with his Umbreon towards the fort, firing two guns towards it.
Needless to say, it didn't end well for either of them, and they both got gunned down too.
Randy and Sylveon decided to wing it, and started running as fast as they could into the woods for cover.
When the woman with the Dead Sexy shirt saw this, she decided to wing it as well; scooping Vulpix up into her arms, she ran towards some trees… then fell down out of Trucker and Lucario's line of sight.
When they heard cries for help in the distance, the two males ran in the direction where Dead Sexy and Vulpix were going, dodging gunfire as they ran.
The two of them found the girls inside a punji pit, having fallen in.
Dead Sexy was pierced through her chest, but the spire didn't pierce her heart, so she was okay for now, while Vulpix was pierced through her right hind leg, wounding her, albeit non-fatally.
"We fell," she told Trucker.
"Hold on, we're gonna get you out," Trucker said, reaching for Dead Sexy's hand.
"It's my birthday tomorrow," she said, "Vulpix and I are gonna eat a whole pie,"
Trucker grabbed her hand, and slowly pulled her out of the pit, while Lucario carefully pulled Vulpix out, unskewering her leg.
Despite their injuries, the two of them were out of the pit with their lives, and the guys carried them further into the woods to safety.
However, a light clicking noise stopped them in their tracks, and when the four looked down, they realized where it came from.
Trucker had stepped on a landmine, and there were more nearby.
The glimpse of the woods he was running towards was the last thing he ever saw.
