Chapter 7Ancient Egypt Lily's home
A few weeks had passed since Lily had found the book with a prophecy in while she had been looking through the book she started to sing a song that her mother used to sing to her when she was little.
'There's a river full of memories
In the north that meets the sea
Sleep, my darling, safe and sound
For in this river all is found
In her waters, Lie the answers
Deep and true and a path laid out for you.
Dive down deep into her sound
But not too far or you'll be drowned
Where the north wind meets the sea
There's a mother full of memory
Come, my darling, homeward bound
When all is lost, then all is found.
While Lily was singing that song she never noticed that she wasn't alone because when she finished reading through the book that she was looking through and turned to put the book on the table she saw Atemu and Alexandra standing there by the door of her house along with some royal guards.
"Ahh, Alex, Atemu how long have you both been standing there why didn't you tell me you both were coming to see me," Lily asked as she leaned against her desk in the front room of her house facing the two princes along with some of the royal guards.
"We didn't tell that we were because we were not here that long and you never told us that you could sing," Prince Atem said as he went and stood next to Lily along with his brother "well me singing never really came up in any conversation that we had and I only do it when I'm stressed about things now why are you both here I was going to be up at the palace tonight," Lily said as she moved about her house put books that she had read away.
Half an hour later Lily was walking with the two princes and their guards back to the palace where they would spend most of their time in the garden
"Lily, have you had any luck with the spell that helped bring you here or the reason why it was you that was brought". Prince Atemu asked as he turned to look at Lily who was sitting next to him.
"No Atemu I haven't had any luck and it's frustrating me to no end that I can't figure out what the spell was that brought me here or why I was chosen so I'll have to keep looking but I have a feeling that it's to do with why my mother left when I was little and the necklace that she had left with my father for me when I was old enough to start wearing it," Lily said as she placed a hand to the necklace around her neck and it was one that she has never taken off since the day she had put it on when she and her sister Roxy set out to look for their dad in present-day Egypt.
