I know it's been a while since I've updated this but with how the updates on SNV work it makes it hard but that's why I have other versions on to continue the hype. Hades is up next and I have the perfect opponent for him, so enjoy.
I don't own Shuumatsu No Valkyrie.
Chapter 8: The Dark Surprise of Round 6! Buddha vs The Beast of the Sixth Heaven? And The Conclusion of Round 6!
The second unexpected turn for Round 6 will God vs God, Enlightenment vs Misfortune, how would this fight turn out? It's turn earlier to decide, but this fight is bound to beyond what anyone is expecting it to be! Time to find out, the second half of Round 6 begins!
Zerofuku began to twist and turn his body while Buddha watched, preparing himself for the fight but didn't look worried.
"Hm… mm… twisting… and turning… hm? But don't you think… there's something… a little bit off?" Zerofuku asked, twisting his head to the side but Buddha remained silent. "Tch, you're not even paying attention… just like always… you human meatbag." He said with a sneer. Something on Zerofuku's back begins to morph and starts to stick out, he grabs it and pulls something out from his back. "I'm gonna turn you into mincemeat…? Hmm… burn you to a crisp…? Dice you…? Execute you…? Murder you… mmhmm… yep… murder got a nice ring to it." He said, and revealed to be holding a large clever like ax.
On the side of the Gods
"Th-There was a God… that sinister here in Valhalla?" Ares asked in shock.
"So that's the Zerofuku I have heard rumors of…" Hermes stated.
"Z-Zero…?" Ares said in shock.
"Out of disaster… comes blessings." Hermes stated. "It seems the second half of round 6 is a fateful match."
On the side of Humanity
This could prove to be quite a spectacle, God vs God in a battle to the death." Heart said intrigue.
"I have to agree but as long as Buddha wins, it all that matters." Null stated.
In the infirmary, the winners of Humanity were waiting for the fight to begin, it was quite a sight one was going to behold as two Gods fought it out.
Jason looked forward with a calm expression on his face, he had a feeling that something was off with the Lucky Gods but never something like this, Hlokk sneakingly held his hand with hers much to his annoyance but didn't bother moving it away. Gyomei was concerned as well but put his faith in Buddha.
Back in the Arena, Zerofuku's whole body was raring to go, just giving off an aura of pure craziness. Heimdall pulled out another one of his horns and blew into it and started the fight between Gods!
"Zero"... so that's what that was…?" Geir asked, confused. "I mean what's the deal with Zerofuku? Like… any number of Gods combined sounds way too insane!"
"Indeed, it would be… but that's not the case with Zerofuku." Null told her.
"Null is right, the Seven Lucky Gods was only a temporary form… this is my first time seeing it as well, but… Zerofuku is indeed their original form." Brunhild explained.
"Th-Their original form? It looks a lot more demonic than any God I've seen…" Geir said, frightened.
"In the beginning Zerofuku was a kind God… who dispensed fortune wherever he went… however… grief changes him." Brunhild told her younger Sister.
"Divine Punishment…" Zerofuku said, clenching his weapon.
In the past, in ancient Asia, where Gods and Man still held a close relationship… in order to watch over the people some Gods dwelt among the world of the humans. Long ago, Zerofuku was among those Gods, he was kinder than any other God and held the innocence of that of a child and truly wanted to bring joy and happiness to the world of Man and the sight which greeted him when came down to this world was… death, old age, birth, sickness, the five skandhas, failing to attain what one seek, meeting with hated ones, parting from love ones… basically people in the depth of unimaginable sorrow, struggling under the burden of eight pains. Zerofuku discovered he could help humans by absorbing what had made them unhappy. And so, having made it his duty to do so in order to give happiness to those struggling with misfortune… he traveled far and wide. Wherever he found misfortune… he absorbed it… and absorbed it… and absorbed it… over and over again. And thus… after many months… and many years had passed… even if he had to take in endless amounts of sorrow and woe… even if it brought him pain and anguish… Zerofuku found happiness in being happiness to humans. But Zerofuku didn't know… of the true nature of Man. The more of their misfortune he took in… the more they lost sight of happiness… and fell into depravity. Zerofuku couldn't believe his own eyes, the people following one man appeared raggedy, but for some reason, their faces were beaming with joy and completely content. The person Zerofuku had met was Buddha, the God questioned Buddha on why the human he helped wasn't happy and the enlightened man advised Zerofuku that one can only make themselves happy. And so, God became jealous of man. It was a humiliation which none like him could bear. And as many myths recount… Divine Love quickly turned to Divine Hatred and so… he resolved to destroy mankind many times over. And on the verge of wreaking havoc upon Humanity… Zerofuku split himself into Seven Gods- the Seven Lucky Gods. And so… the legend of the eight Lucky Gods was born.
"It's finally here… the moment I get to give you divine punishment… in front of everyone… Now… begone from my sights." Zerofuku said, getting ready to attack. "I won't… regret this at all… because… it's your fault for making me look like a complete ass!"
Buddha merely kicked Zerofuku square in the gut, making gasps in pain and stagger back. He was close to throwing up blood but kept it down.
"Sorry. Uh… who're you again?" Buddha asked, but Zerofuku didn't answer because he was having trouble breathing from the strong kick. "C'mon man… we already started. Now… let's do it for real." He said, holding his hand out.
The audience was in an uproar on the side of the Gods; they were enraged at Buddha while humanity was cheering, even some of the Four Sages, Socrates, Jesus, and Confucius were surprised by Buddha's actions.
"So you gonna fight? Or not?" Buddha asked Zerofuku.
Zerofuku was still gagging and coughing from the blow Buddha gave him and ended up spitting a bit of blood into his hand, he panicked and became even more miserable. He clenched his ax like weapon and it began to act strange, freaking many out.
On the side of Humanity
"Wh-What's with his ax…!? It's like it's… alive or something… freaky…" Geir said, freak out.
"Indeed, does work under the same rules as the hammer." Hearts said, rubbing his chin as he thought about Thor's hammer.
Zerofuke goes for a swing of his ax weapon but completely miss Buddha and hits the ground, Zerofuku was confuse and thought he hit Buddha, the crowd cheer the enlightened God on, Buddha dodge another swing from Zerofuku, the God of Misfortune was confused on why and continue to try cut dodge Buddha with his weapon over and over again but misses every time! Zerofuku could hear the Gods in the audience judging him and believe it should have been Bishamonten instead of him which only served to make him feel more misery and everyone was confused as they thought their eyes were playing tricks on them.
On the side of the Gods
"Hmm… this is getting interesting…" Hermes said, watching on.
"Indeed." Hades said, agreeing.
"A-Am I imagining things? Or does his ax look like… it's getting bigger!?" Ares shouted.
"You're not imagining things. His ax… absorbs misery." Zeus told them, his chest still bandaged up.
"Absorb misery"…? What do you mean?" Ares asked his father.
"The more his divine weapon absorbs his misery… the larger it grows… and the more destructive it becomes." Zeus explained. "Its name is… the Misery Cleaver."
"Oho… this my first time seeing it… but it's quite the unconventional weapon." Hermes stated.
Zerofuku's Misery Cleaver was larger and spikier and with one swing, cut right through the ground and left a huge wave of destruction that reached all the way to the audience on the side of the Gods, shocking them. Zerofuku let out a scream of frustration for missing and unleashed a barrage of mad swings with the cleaver, missing Buddha still but each time he swung the divine weapon grew bigger.
On the side of Humanity
"A-Absorbs misery?" Geir aked, confused.
"Yes." Brunhild answered. "From Zerofuku's point of view, being evaded is misery as well."
"Interesting." Hearts said with a smirk.
"That's nuts…" Geir said, shocked. "You mean… the more Lord Buddha dodges the stronger Zerofuku's atack are going to get…?!" She concluded.
"That's correct." Null confirmed.
"He's playing on nightmare mode!" Geir shouted.
"Indeed, if he didn't have his own set of cheat codes." Null said ominously.
Zerofuku swung his cleaver once more but missed as Buddha threw his staff in the air and dodge under the swing, it missed by a few hairs, confusing and shocking Zerofuku.
"Not bad, man! That weapon is pretty cool!" Buddha praised.
"He dodge! He must have crazy good reflexes!" Geir shouted.
"Look closer, Geir." Brunhild told her younger sister. "Pay attention to his movement. Did you notice anything?"
"Huh?" Geir said, confused. "He's moving before his opponent attacks him!?" She thought. "He's not dodging… the attacks are going where he already been… at least, that's what it looks like."
"Yes… Lord Buddha already knows Zerofuku's attacks." Brunhild told her.
"Already know!? You mean like what Musashi did?" Geir asked, confused.
"No Geir, this is different from that." Null told her. "What Buddha has is something called, Future Vision." He told her.
"Future Vision?!" Geir said in pure shock.
"Yes. It is a state which only the enlightened can attain. Pure Enlightenment, Eight Consciousness." Null finished his explanation.
Buddha dodged more of Zerofuku swings and decided to finally go in for the attack, ducking under another swing from the cleaver and hit him right in the chin with his staff. Zerofuku gritted his teeth and swung down his cleaver once more but only hit the ground.
"Wow… it's way too cool!" Geir said in awe.
"Well, even though it is called Future Vision… he can only see a moment ahead." Brunhild stated.
"But it's still cool… I say it's the coolest ability of them all!" Geir said, beaming with awe and excitement. "Alright you got this Buddha!" She cheered.
Back in the arena, Zerofuku was still trying to hit Buddha but his attack never touched the God of Enlightenment and he only ended up cutting up more of the ground.
"My jaw hurts… and I can't hit you at all… why… Why is this happening?!" Zerofuku shouted, confused and frustrated.
"Uh, sorry. I kinda sneak a peek." Buddha told him.
"You could see… my attacks…? Th-Then… even back then…!?" Zerofuku said, stunned from shock. "Cheater… that's… that's cheating!" He said in anger.
Zerofuku went on another rampage of mad swings in hope of getting Buddha but misses every time and is hit just below the neck with a jab from his staff. And saw more attack follow is now on the offensive and continue to beat Zerofuku around with more swings from his staff.
Against the cheat power Future Vision… the difference in power between the two was clear… or everyone thought. However…
"I can't… do anything right… even back then… I saved them… and nobody thanked me for it." Zerofuku said in a calm and ominous tone. "Aaah… I'm so miserable." He said, his voice soaking in despair. "I'm… jealous of that human… I'm miserable! It's always the same… only me… only I'm miserable…" He said, crying tears of blood. "GODDAMMIT!"
The first was to notice something amiss… was none other than Buddha.
"Whoa… isn't that kinda cheating…?" Buddha asked with a smile and nervous sweat.
"Lord Buddha stopped moving! What did he see!?" Geir asks, confused, Null and Brunhild choose to remain quiet.
"I'm miserable… so so miserable… the worst… I've ever felt…" Zerofuku said, clenching his Misery Cleaver. "I'm in… the pits of… misery!" He shouted, his weapon growing to a massive size that would flattened anyone from any direction.
There was no way for Buddha to dodge this attack, that's why he stopped moving. Because he saw a future where he could not outmaneuver within this moment… there was nothing left but an impending sense of hopelessness! Buddha took this time to use his staff and it began to glow and unravel. Zerofuku swung down the massive weapon on top of Buddha, believing he completely crushed the God of Enlightenment, that was until the massive weapon began to move and it was reveal to be Buddha completely fine because he use the Six Realm Staff: Fourth Form; Asura Realm, Eleven Faced Kannon, Ahimsa; which was a large armor shield. Everyone was in shock at what Buddha did, he stopped Zerofuku's destructive attack dead in its tracks like it was nothing.
On the side of Humanity
"Well now, ain't this a surprise…" Hearts said, surprise and intrigue.
"Uh… Wha-What the heck just happened!? Like, where'd that shield…" Geir shouted in confusion and shock.
"It's Buddha's divine weapon, the Six Realm Staff." Brunhild answered.
"Six Realm Staff?" Geir said, not understanding.
"The six worlds which Mankind can reincarnate into… are known in the world of Buddhas as the six realms. Each of these realms is protected by a form of the bodhisattva kannon… the six realm staff stores the powers of those six Guardian Buddhas." Brundhild explained.
"It reacts to Buddha's emotions and changes form accordingly." Null said, finishing the explanation.
"React to his emotion? You mean he can't choose what weapon to use himself!?" Geir asked in disbelief.
"Man, you're just seething, aren't cha? Your puberty is something else…" Buddha said, still blocking the weapon. "Made me break a sweat… and pop this bad boy out! Pretty damn wild!"He shouted, pushing it off.
"Quiet acting, all cool and collected! If I can't flatten you…" Zerofuku said, changing the form of his weapon to a set of many large blades. "I'll just shred you to bits, Buddhaaaaaa!" He shouted.
Buddha's staff changed once more, this time it was Six Realm Staff: Second Form; Animal Realm, Horse-Faced Kannon, Nirvana! A large spiky metal club, Buddha meant Zerofuku's charge with his own and as he got closer he slid on his backside and delivered a strong blow to Zerofuku's torso, causing to fall to the ground in pain and saw he was bleeding a bit.
"Alright! He did it!" Geir cheered. "But… what kind of emotion did Buddha have to be feeling… for the staff to change into that?" She asked.
"It is not as simple as that, Geir." Null told her.
"That's sooo like him. He lives his life how he pleases… with nobody holding him down." Brunhild said with a smile. "That precisely because he's… history's strongest adolescent!"
"H-History's strongest adolescent!?" Geir said, confused.
From birth, everything was within reach for Buddha before he was enlightened. Before that he's name was Gautama Siddhartha the born prince of the Minor Kingdom of the Shakyas in ancient India… There was very little that the Gautama Siddhartha, a member of the Kshatriya castle, did not already possess. The best statue, the best clothing, the best food, the best dwelling, the best education, and so when he was born he was promised the best future by the Gods. And Siddhartha accepted it well, both his role as the prince of the people of Shakyas and his destiny bestowed on him by the Gods. It is simply how destiny works… until then, that is… until he travels to Malla to see the king, prince Siddhartha gets along with King Jataka, a distant relative of his and five years his senior. The two had a long talk about if they were truly happy, because all their life things were handed to them neither of them had to struggle to earn anything, did this mean they lived happily? King Jataka dismiss what he told Siddhartha but would be something he stuck with him for now on, once King Jataka pass away due to his illness the young prince was heartbroken but when they people said he had a happy life the young prince thought it over and was shellshock as he thought about his own life and the reality of what he learn awakened him, trascening him to a enlightened state. During the funeral of King Jataka, Siddhartha returned laying flower petals everywhere and picked up the coffin, people reacted badly and shouted at him but all he did was tell them to "shaddap" and that silence them. He would later bring him to the river they talked about and so that he could see for himself. And so after that… he tread on his own, solitary path to fight back against the fate that had been decided for him by others.
"To Buddha… it doesn't matter whether they are God or man. For those who try to deny him his own, internal happiness and impose fate upon him… he had nothing but hatred for them." Brunhild explained.
"Hatred? That's it… the only reason why he's fighting the Gods!?" Geir asked, taken back by that information.
"Such an odd man… but also interesting." Hearts said with a chuckle.
"Although his reason isn't the must just, I can understand wanting to focus on one's happiness." Null said, giving Brunhild a short glance before looking back to the fight.
"I'm sure I said before. But Buddha is the Strongest Adolescent." Brunhild said with a smirk.
"Now get up." Buddha told Zerofuku. "Until your little tantrum is over… I'm all yours." He said with a smirk.
"BUDDAAAAAAAAA!" Zerofuku shouted with rage.
The two continue their face, clashing weapons against one another. Buddha dodge another swung from Zerofuku but this time there was a surprise as black spike come out from the cleaver and nearly hit Buddha but he blocked with his weapon and avoided harm, Buddha gave Zerofuku a few good smack with his club and knock him back a bit, Zerofuku cursed and change his weapon into a three point staff with blades on each end, it was a very grim looking weapon, Buddha change his weapon one more as well and was now using Six Realm Staff: First Form; Divine Realm, Wish Granting Wheel Kannon, Loka Pala Twelve Deva Axe! Buddha was now wielding an axe and he and Zerofuku entered a close melee fight, Buddha was blocking every strike Zerofuku threw at him, it was clear the God of Misfortune had no chance against the God of Enlightenment. Zerofuku curse at Buddha and tries to hit him with a pincer attack with his weapon but Buddha deflect them and slash him across the chest, Zerofuku use his attack use Misery Cleaver Storm Formation, Buddha wasn't faze and used Six Realm Staff: Second Form; Human Realm, Unshakeable Cord Kannon, Akshayu! It was a short one hand sword, the hail of blades came right at Buddha and swiftly dodge them and retreated away from them, they follow him everywhere he went, the baldes nearly hit the Gods in the audience and they didn't take kindly to that and then the human in the audience but Buddha save them by chopping them up with his sword, he finish off the hail of lades and Zerofuku stuck with his Misery Cleaver once more, the crowd cheer for Buddha as he fight Zerofuku and it pissed him off!
"Why… why!? Why won't anyone… look at me for once!?" Zerofuku shouted, he tried to hit Buddha with a surprise attack by extending the tip of his cleaver but it missed.
"One is truly one's master…" Buddha told Zerofuku in a calm tone.
"WHAT!?" Zerofuku shouted, not understanding.
"Zero… you gotta love yourself." Buddha told him with a smile.
"Love… yourself…? Quit… always saying stuff…" Zerofuku said, a bit taken back by the advice. "That doesn't even make… any fucking sense!"
"Oh by the by… y'know what, Zero? I really like you!" Buddha told him.
"You… like… me…? I… can… love… myself!?" Zerofuku said, confusion and anger. "Quit given' halfass answers! You…" He was about to insult Buddha more but saw his smile, it was honest.
And it hit Zero and in that moment he understood, he wanted to be like Buddha. Love by everybody, it was then that his Misery Cleaver lost all its power which showed that he was no longer miserable.
"Zero… you got a real nice look on your face right now." Buddha said, tossing his sword to the side, confusing everyone, even Zero. "now… why don't we pick up where we left off? He said, baring his fist.
"Yeah… that's right… he's just some human, but… he always understands me better than anyone." Zerofuku thought.
Buddha and Zerofuku charged at each other and hit each in the face, exchanging blow for blow with each other and even though he wouldn't keep up he was at the peak of happiness. A fistfight-an exchange-with everythinglaid bare, their cloak of "God" and "Man" cast aside… was at this moment Zerofuku finally redeemed. Buddha punched Zerofuku right in the face and knocked him to the ground. Something began to happen to Zero, it freaked a few out but it was nothing to worry about.
"Worry not, Geir. Zero is merely returning to how he was originally." Null told her, his face neutral but had calmness to it.
"Haha… that stung." Zerofuku said but had a smile on his face. "Ah, I can believe it… I'm happy…" he thought, looking at Buddha. "I'll… try to believe again… in what I wanted to do… in the people I wanted to make happy… and I'll try… to love mys-" Before Zerofuku could finish he thought, the horn on his head fell and the flat end spiralled and made a needle.
They stab Zero on both sides of his head and cause him violently shake with pain and slowly get to his feet and then the horn grew bigger and one when into his mouth while the other went into the hole on his chest, Zerofuku was panicking now because he understand what was going on, two serpent-like dragon come out of him, the come down at Zero. Buddha tries to help him but he isn't able to get to him in time and swallows up and forms a scale cover sphere. It was dead silent then something started to hatch, thick arms came out and ripped the shell appeared. Buddha took a big leap back in an instant, as if out of reflex because something big came out and was covered in black liquid, its pitch black eyes look right at Buddha's.
"Who the hell are you?" Buddha asked, having a cold sweat. He couldn't see anything from the being.
Elsewhere within Valhalla there was room that had a door with a fly on it, inside the room were tools and all kinds of forbidding experiments, sitting in the chair and watching the fight on the screen was someone with pure black hair, pale skin, black eyes and was wearing a black robe with black boots.
"Ooh, so this is what became of that… intriguing." Beelzebub said, the fighter for the Gods. "A white light and black shadow's blending, the horns of the nether-world shall awaken, and eternal darkness be born… the berserker from the legends of the Netherworld… Demon Lord of the Sixth Heaven, Hajun."
The black liquid drips down the large being's body and reveals what they look like, it was a large one with long massive black horns, long white and black hair, pure pale white skin, a muscular body and wearwhite pants with black sash, the large being pitch black eyes were soulless.
"Divine retribution… cometh." It said in a dark and intimidating voice.
The creature's very pressure affected the surrounding as the sky was with a large black and white swirl of clouds. Everyone was in shock by the sight, some didn't know what it was but Null and Arcane's eyes widened in pure shock and horror, others were somewhat familiar with the kind pressure given off and that was Yami Sukehiro, Escanor, and Ghost Rider.
On the side of Humanity
"Wh-Wh-What the heck… is that thing!?" Geir asked in pure fear. Brunhild fell to her knees and clech her head. "Sister!?" She asked, concerned.
"I… I have no idea!" Brunhild said, her face covered in sweat.
"Y…You don't know about it!?" Geir asked in shock! "L-Lord Null?" She asked, thinking the Bookkeeper knew.
"A Monster… that thing is a monster, Geir." Null said, his voice was serious. "The Berserker of the Netherworld… Demon Lord of the Sixth Heaven, Hajun." He answered.
In the infirmary the winning fighters and surviving Valkyrie were in shock at the sight of Hajun. Gyomeu had cold sweats and Jason was in shock and was trying to figure out what it was, Their Valkyrie all had a look of shock and confusion.
"Well… that's a surprise." Gyomei said concerned, having a sweat drop.
"What in the ever loving fuck is that thing!?" Jason asked, still in shock. "What kind of God is that!?"
Back in the arena, Buddha was holding his sword and had cold sweat as he looked at the massive beast that had taken Zerofuku's place.
"What happened to Zero?" Buddha asked.
"He's gone." Hajun answered. "He is nowhere to be found in this world. My name… is Hajun."
"Alright so… what do you want? I'm mean… what the hell… are you?" Buddha asked, unable to figure out what he was talking to.
"I myself do not know… however… I think that I want to try these powers out now." Hajun said, looking at his hand.
On the side of the Gods
"That startled me… old man… what's the deal with that thing?" Loki asked.
Odin remained silent but his crows were sweating nervously at the sight of Hajun. Freya had left to mourn Baldur's death.
"I-Is that thing… really a God, Hermes!?" Ares asked his brother.
"I have no idea." Hermes answered, having no club.
"What!? Y…You don't know about it!?" Ares said, shocked.
"That is no God." Hades answered.
"What do you mean, Hades? You said that thing isn't a God?" Zeus asked his brother.
"Calm yourself little brother. That… is the legendary berserker spoken of in Helheim since ancient times." Hades explained. "Across all mythologies is the common theme of three layered worlds, the world where Gods and the souls of the dead dwell… Valhalla, Heaven. The world where mortals and animals live… Midgard, Earth. And one more layer… known as Hell, The Demon World, and Ne-no-kun, The Land of Origins, and among other names… the world where unearthly things prowl… Netherworld, Helheim." The Greek God explained to his family. "In Helheim there goes a legend that goes as follows… "A white light and black shadow's blending, the horns of the nether-world shall awaken, and eternal darkness be born… the berserker from the legends of the Netherworld… Demon Lord of the Sixth Heaven, Hajun."
"Demon Lord of the Sixth Heaven, Hajun." Ares said in fright.
"In other words, you have something to do with this, Uncle?" Hermes asked.
"Even as the Ruler of Helheim, I must admit I've never seen it before." Hades told his nephew.
"Even you've… never seen it, Uncle Hades." Ares said in shock, getting more frightened.
"I wonder, what led to a meager God from Valhalla like Zerofuku to become the Legendary Hajun?" Hades said, rubbing his chin. "That's what I like to know."
On the side of Humanity
"A demon… how did a demon make it's ways here?" Hearts said with a serious face.
"More specifically, how did Zero become Hajun? This doesn't make any sense at all." Null said seriously and thought it over.
Back in the arena had a tight in firm grip on his sword and was watching Hajun very carefully, the demon lord was merely testing out his body movement because he was not yet accumsed to it, he then created blade from his right arm and place to finish this in an instant. Hajun swung down his arm blade at Buddha, he quickly reacted and blocked with his sword but the power behind yet a simple attack was monstrous, Buddha's feet sunk into the ground from the force. Hajun attacked Buddha with more swing that held the same monstrous power at insane speed so Buddha blocked them all as fast as he could.
"Wow… his speed's insane b-but Buddha should be alright, right? Cause he can see any attack ahead of time, right?" Geir said nervously.
"No… if I had to say, he can't see them at all." Brunhild said with a tone of dread.
"Huh?" Geir said in horror.
"He does not perceive any light from Hajun, it's complete darkness." Brunhild told her.
"What do you mean by that?" Geir asked meekly, still in horror.
"To put it more technically, Buddha's "eight consciousness" is able to see the fluctuation of the soul. Whenever a person decides on a course of action the soul, or the will, moves before the body. By seeing the radiance of the will. By seeing the movement of the light within every creature. Buddha knows what will happen next… in other words without a single speck of light, Hajun's soul is rendered unseeable to Buddha." Null clear up for the two Valkyries.
"N-No way… t-then… that means he can't use Future Vision?" Geir said, shocked.
Buddha continue block Hajun's furious attacks but was starting to get overwhelmed and kick Hajun in the chest to get some distance, Hajun was amazed by the power he now wield and was going to use the maximum output for it and the blade grows and becomes more flexible and formed a drill, Hajun right at Buddha with Heaven Piercing Demon Drill! Buddha reacts quickly and uses Six RealmStaff: Fourth Form; Asura Realm, Eleven Faced Kannon, Ahimsa to block the killer attack, their were a huge blast of force that kick up a lot of does as the two clashed, everyone look on with a mix of horror and shock at the scene before them.
"My, my, my, my, my, my, my, my… myyy." Hajun said, pull his blade back.
There a hole in Buddha's shield, and from behind it showed that Buddha had lost his left eye! A cruel and sadistic grin appeared on his face at the sight before him.
"Aww, too bad!" Hajun said with a sadistic grin.
Buddha was in a lot of pain and was now down an eye, he quickly away and call for his staff once more, the God of Enlightenment was lucky because the attack would have gone through his head if he had not dodge at the last moment, Hajun was far from down and formed an ax and right at Buddha once more! Buddha call forward his sword once more and blocks the attack, Hajun attack with a flurry of deadly strike that Buddha is barely able to block and with his left eye gone his left side is wide open, Buddha see his chance to strike and swung his sword right at Hajun's neck but the demon lord lean back and there is barely a nick and he counter strikes and slash Buddha's left forearm, the two has a intense clash that look even but Buddha was having a hard and it was proven try when Hajun cut across his the right side of his torso.
On the side of the Gods
"He's leading Buddha by the nose… what strength, just what the hell is he?" Ares asked in shock.
"I don't expect you to understand. Hajun's strength is on a magnitude which not many Gods can hold a candle to." Hades told Ares. "He is a genuine monster said to have destroyed half of Helheim long ago.
"H-H-H-Half of Helheim!?" Ares said, shocked and frightened.
"Actually, it's better to say he left it half destroyed. According to legend's… one day after wrecking havoc across Helheim, Hajun suddenly vanished… Many months and years passed, but he never re-emerged. I believe he was simply a fairy-tale being… from long before I came to rule Helheim." Hades told his family.
"Then how is the legendary Hajun here now?" Hermes asked.
"There's only one explanation I can think of… someone acquired the little detritus that was left of Hajun, cultivated it through some unknown method, formed it into something like a seed and then took those Seeds of Hajun, and planted them in him." Hades explained, thinking of only one God.
"Wh-Who the hell… could do something so…" Ares said enraged while Zeus and Hermes were silent.
"Hmph. To possess that much technical skill." Hermes stated.
"And have the eccentricity to waste so much energy on something so frivolous it could only be him." Hades stated, pointing out the one God capable.
"Him?" Hades said, confused.
"Ah… so it's him." Hermes concluded.
In Beelzebub's room, he was watching the fruits of his work in action, all he wanted was to see how the seed would grow in good soil and was amazed by the results. Buddha was struggling as Hajun pressed his ax down at Buddha, he put more power into his arms and swung right for Hajun's face but he did the splits to avoid the sword strike and stab Buddha in the right foot.
"Divine Retribution." Hajun said with a cruel smile. The demon lord tries to split Buddah's skull in half but he backs away quickly but his damaged foot made him slower. "Your helpless." Hajun told Buddha. "You have no chance left. Surrender and face my divine retribution."
"Heh… divine retribution. It really is you in there… isn't it?" Buddha asked him. "C'mon answer me, Zero!" He called out.
"Zero…? Zerofuku…?" Hajun said, thinking for a bit. "Ah, you mean that third rate runt? keheheheheheHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" The monster let out a stream of mad laughter. "I consumed him a long time ago." The Demon Lord told Buddha, it horrified him. "No need to worry. He made a splendid repast for me. Exquisite treatment for a third-rate God like him, lower than dirt. Surely, he cried tears of jo-"
"SHUT UP!" Buddha shouted in rage. Everyone was in shock at this and he took a moment to calm down a bit. "Gotcha… that… makes this a whole lot easier. Yeah… you're… you're fucking Buddha dead!" He shouted a fierce aura of power coming off his body.
The six realm staff changes form based on Buddha's emotions. However the emotion at the front of Buddha's mind in this instance was one thought to have been rejected as "poison" a long time ago… hatred. And the Six Realm Staff change into a form that not even Buddha has seen. Fifth Realm: Preta Realm; Holy Kannon, Scythe of Kojin the Wild God Salakayas. It was a large deadly scythe with a beastly face, it gave off an intense aura and both mortals and God were getting excited now!
"Pitiful." Hajun said with a mocking smile. "Giving Divine Retribution to insects like you as you squirm trying to fight back against such a supreme being as I… feel so unbelievably refreshing!"
Buddha had hardened look on his face and brace himself as Hajun come charging at him, Buddha uses Karma Destroying Samsara Cycle but Hajun block with his ax hand with ease but the demon lord was being push back by attack and nearly loss his head but dodge it and still had cocky grin on his face and swung his ax hand at Buddha but the God of Enlightenment doesn't falter and use Karma Destroying Samsara Cycle: Eternal it was more powerful then before and goes right for Hajun's neck, surprising the demonic monster! Blood splash ad hit the ground and was reveal to be Hajun, who was still alive but was in disbelief because of the fact even though they blocked with their arm that was cover in thick scales they were still bleeding but it was nothing compared to the fact that Buddha has been stab right through the side of his abdomen, he cough up blood and was bleeding out a bit.
"Well… have any final words?" Hajun asked.
"Then… let me… repeat myself." Buddha said, panting and gritting his teeth in pain as Hajun pushed deeper. "If the Gods… won't save them… I will…"
"Why, you…" Hajun said, frustrated.
"And if any Gods get in my way… I'll kill them!" Buddha shouted.
Buddha put more power into his arm and forced the blade of the scythe through the thick scales, Hajun couldn't understand how Buddha was still able to continue so the horned beast moved the blade from his keck and kicked Buddha away. Hajun looked at the cut wound, it was deep and was causing blood to leak out, the demonic monster couldn't make sense of it, even with Buddha having a hole in his abdomen somehow he was still about to find the energy to go on even at the verge of death.
"Hey… what, you scared?" Buddha asked with a smirk.
"Scared?" Hajun repeated. "You mean that I am afraid of you?" Hajun said, taking in the information and was not pleased. "Do not get ahead of yourself. Now that I have met upon perfect soil, I am the supreme being…" It said with a dark look on it's face. "I will surpass my past self!" It thought.
In the past when Hajun was laying waste to Helheim, his past body wasn't able to withstand his power and so it began to fall apart and burst into pieces as a result.
"I would never fear the likes-" Hajun began to retort.
"I knew it… you're weak." Buddha said, snapping his finger at the demon lord.
"I… am weak?" Hajun said, getting angry.
"Yep… you're way… way weaker… than Zero." Buddha told Hajun.
This struck a nerve but a nasty smirk appeared on Hajun, the demon lord rushed at Buddha to prove who the weak one was and unleash a furious barrage of strikes, Buddha blocked them all as best as he could but the fight was looking one sided.
On the side of the Gods
"He can't use Future-Vision and he sustained fatal injuries, it seems it's already over." Ares said with a grim look on his face.
"How foolish." Hades stated.
"Indeed, very foolish… but it still pains me to lose such a man…" Ares said, lowering his head.
"It's you who is the foolish one, nephew. Look at Buddha's eyes! He hasn't given up yet!" Hade told Ares.
"I would say he has his eye on it…" Hermes added.
"Yes. He has his eye on it indeed… on a one-shot comeback with that Samsara move!" Zeus said, getting excited.
On the side of Humanity
"It seems we're nearing close…" Null stated.
"Cl-Close to what?" Geir asked, confused.
"Watch and see…" Null said, his tone serious.
"Null…" Arcane thought, looking at his successor.
Buddha had a focused look in his eyes, Hajun knocked him back with a swing of his ax hand and skidded across the arena but he stopped himself and was still standing, shocking Hajun. Buddha spit out some blood and took a batting stance with a confident smirk. Hajun saw that its hands were shaking and couldn't understand why and started to question whether it truly was a supreme being, Hajun pushed that thought back and grabbed it's right arm and gave it a firm squeeze and ripped it right off! Hajun then morphs and re-shape it into a long sword, taking a stance as well. Buddha and Hajun looked each other in the eye and were getting ready for the next and possibly final strike, Buddha attacked with Karma Destroying Samsara Cycle while Hajun attacked with Blaze of Glory! The end result, the blade of the scythe was cut off and shatter into piece and damaging the Six Realm Staff, which shook everyone at the sight, Hajun thrust it blade at Buddha so with no other choice but to block with his staff but it was destroyed and the power behind the thrust blast Buddha away and torn off his shirt. It seemed hopeless for Buddha, audiences on the side of Humanity prayed even Brunhild and Geir prayed for the God of Enlightenment, Null had a neutral look on his hooded face but held out in hopes of the God to make another comeback. There was darkness all around Buddha, he couldn't move an inch and felt his consciousness fading in and out, then a bright light shone and a hand grabbed his hand, and his eye shot open in surprise.
"Kehehehehehehe… KAAAAA HAH HAH!" Buddha started laughing.
"Pathetic. Gone mad in the face of death." Hajun said coldly.
"Uh-huh, yeah… I knew it." Buddha said, getting up. "You know what it takes to confront your own weakness? To fight back against your inexperienced? And… to try and overcome it?" He asked the demon lord, getting to his feet and revealing his hair was loose and free. "It takes puberty. You don't have that and that's why you're weak." He finished, and was holding the handle of the Misery Cleaver. "Now… let's fight together… Zero. Fates… Intertwined." Buddha said and performed Divine Weapon Lotus Volund.
On the side of Humanity
"V-Volund!? The Misery Cleaver is transforming again!?" Geir asked in shock, shielding her eyes.
"No… this is not the Misery Cleaver." Brunhild said with a smile. "Rather than misery it has taken in Buddha's compassion and through fates intertwined a new divine has been born!" She shouted, tears of joy on her face.
"The ultimate divine weapon… which none but he who has attained the great nirvana in the pure lands could create." Null stated.
Buddha was now wielding his new divine weapon, Great Nirvana Sword: Zero. Hajun couldn't understand and was angry and… afraid?
"What do you think you're doing, shining that thing on me!?" Hajun shouted.
"Oh, I think you already know…" Buddha said, swinging his word and for a moment Hajun thought he saw the Seven Lucky Gods. "Divine Retribution!" He said with a smirk.
Buddha and Hajun entered a battle of blades, both were striking with great fury! Hajun couldn't understand how Buddha was able to fight back with great power and speed, it didn't make sense! Buddha and Hajun swung their swords down and he was cut across the shoulder but still had a smile on his face. Buddha continue to fight on as he swung his divine sword but the injuries he suffered were acting up and fell forward and Hajun took this chance use Blaze of Glory but Buddha blocked even so he on his last legs and was trembling from the pain, Hajun thought they had the upper hand but Buddha parry the demon's blade and clash them across the chest, Hajun couldn't understand! They put their all in that strike and Buddha was still standing, Hajun unleashes a barrage of thrust in an attempt to kill Buddha but he dodge them all, why? Because Buddha was using Future Vision to see them and that was because Hajun's soul was trembling with fear! Hajun kept swinging their blade at Buddha but they couldn't touch him!
"Why?Why? Why? Why!?" Hajun thought. "I am the Demon Lord of the Sixth Heaven… the most supreme being… in the entire world! One such as you can not exist… in the same world as me!" Hajun thought, and kept attacking Buddha but couldn't hit him. "I AM HAJUN! DEMON LORD OF THE SIXTH HEAVEN! I'M FAR MORE SUPERIOR THAN ANY GOD! I'M THE SUPREME BEING!" They shouted in pure rage and fear.
The audience on both side were in shock that the thing Buddha was fighting wasn't a God but a Demon Lord, Buddha ready himself for the next strike to end Hajun but he felt lightheaded and his injured feet grew weak and fell to his knee, in the fight to death it was life ending mistake. Hajun saw their chance and used Blaze of Glory, a huge explosion of force kicked up a lot of dust and Hajun thought that they finally killed Buddha but their hopes were dashed when they sensed a powerful presence before them. And through the smoke of dust they stop their attack with a single finger, and the one was revealed to be… Escanor!?
"All this fuss over what? Because you've been outmatched?" Escanor said in a bored tone. "Pitiful…"
"How dare you… a mean mortal challenge a supreme as myself, that desperate for death?" Hajun said, mocking Escanor but the presence grew more powerful.
"Who decided that? You're a supreme being… Who decided that? You're going to give me death… Who decided that?" Escanor said in a firm tone, his voice oozing with power. "The only one who gets to decide such things… is me." He said seriously.
Hajun cocky smile disappeared and was replaced with fear, Escanor raised his hand and formed a fist clenched it and threw a punch! The fist looked like the size of a giant, it was inches away from Hajun's face, Escanor flicked the demon lord and sent them skidding across the arena. Escanor wasn't impressed and turned to Buddha, who was in shock at the delay of power.
"I'll let you handle the rest, I figure because it was a demon and not a God that it would be okay." Escanor said, walking away.
The display of power by Escanor was both terrifying and impressive, Hades was intrigued by this mortal. Hajun was a bit dazed and fell to their knees and had blood dripping down their nose, they shook their head and saw Buddha getting to his feet. Hajun couldn't let this happen! The Demon Lord rushes at Buddha and uses Blaze of Glory once more with all the power within their body! There was a huge crash and for a moment Hajun thought they truly won this time but Buddha dodge much to their shock and from there it was all over.
Unstartled, like a lion at sound. Unsnared, like the wind against cold steel. Unsoiled, like a lotus in water. Like the horn of a rhinoceros, walk alone. However, should you find a companion upon whose soul you can rest yours then across all manners of abservity, brimming with joy, walk with him.
"Zero… can you see it? This is our path… let's go together." Buddha thought.
In a calm and gentle motion, Buddha raises his sword up high and strikes down Hajun with Great Nirvana Sword: Zero, Blade of the Celestial Awakening: MahapariNirvana! Causing a lot of blood to gush out, shocking everyone! Hajun's other arm falls off and onto the ground then the upper body follows as well, marking this as Buddha's victory. Hajun wouldn't let Buddha win this and ries one last time to attack, aiming right for his face! But their body already started falling apart into particles and soon Hajun disappeared, the fight truly being over.
"Zero, it's over." Buddha said, looking to the sky. He was shocked to see what he thought might be the spirit of Zero in the sky. "Z-Zero…" He said weakly, Zero merely smiled and gave him the thumbs up and joined the rest of the Seven Lucky Gods. "heh… damn that cool… See you later, Zero." Buddha said, shedding a few tears.
Buddha merely pointed to the sky and walked off, his victory concluded the second part of Round 6.

The audience on the side of Humanity were cheering for Buddha, his new divine weapon faded away back into a handle the Gods in the audience were in disbelief on how powerful Buddha really was. A bird lands on the handle and crie for the loss of Zero because it was the same chick the Zero helped get back into its nest.
"You too, huh…? Seems like… it wasn't just me… who loved Zero." Buddha said softly.
Buddha was fixing his hair as he walked along the halls, he saw Brunhild, Geir, and Null there waiting for him.
"Buddha…" Brunhild called out.
"Bruly…" Buddha said, he then grinned and flashed them a peace sign, which Geir returned back.
He falls to the floor, later he is being rushed to the sick bay to reserve proper treatment for his injuries.
"We're reaching the sick bay now! Don't die on us, Buddha!" Geir shouted, tears in her eyes.
"Bruly…" Buddha called out.
"Buddha… Thank you for your assistance. You saved us yet again." Brunhild said, bowing.
"Got any candy on you?" Buddha asked.
"What?" Brunhild said, confused.
"Cola-flavored Buddha chups… are the tastiest things in the whole world, y'know…" Buddha told her.
"Heh!" Brunhild merely chuckled.
"Haha!" Geir laughed along.
"Hmm." Null merely grunted.
"All right. I shall have some sent to you later… enough to give you cavities." Brunhild told him.
"So Bruly… Nuly think you can achieve your goals now?" Buddha asked.
"Yes. With this… we are another step closer to Mankind's survival." Brunhild said with a smile.
"Indeed. Not bad, nice job with that fight." Null told him. His voice neutral
"There you go again… all stubborn, like. That's alright… y'know Bruly… I really like your eyes full of worldly desire." Buddha told her, he then coughed more blood and passed out.
"Stubborn? Worldly desire? What did Buddha mean by that?" Geir asked, confused.
"Who knows. He lost a lot of blood back there." Null told her, there was an undertone of jealousy in his voice.
"Null…" Brunhild called out.
"Hm?" Null turns to look at her.
"Thank you, for your help in this fight." Brunhild told him, having a kind smile.
"N-No problem…" Null said, hiding his fluster. "I will do anything for you." He thought.
There was still the thought of Hajun appearing in the arena, there was only one person that could cause such a scene in that fight, one God that could cause such trouble, and Null couldn't wait to see them get swapped.
Right now, Beelzebub was currently burning all his notes on Hajun after seeing the beast getting slayed and in order to cover his tracks in the involvement of bringing it to Valhalla.
"So… that was your doing all along…" Odin said, making his presence known. "Beelzebub."
"Hey! Don't ignore us!" The White Raven shouted.
"Yeah, fuck you, fly boy! You wanna go!?" The Black Raven shouted.
"You were doing weird experiments again, weren't you!?" The White Raven shouted.
"You fuckin' creep!" The Black Raven shouted.
"Hoo…" Odin said, which silences the bird. "I have waited a long, long time… in preparation for this battle. And I will not permit no one to disrupt it." He said in a serious tone, unleashing his power a bit.
"A long, long time? How… intriguing." Beelzebub said softly, having an unnerving smile.
Odin didn't look pleased with the reaction from the Lord of Flies but left it at that. Meanwhile Hermes was looking at the scoreboard and saw that once again Humanity was ahead of them even with the odd stack in the god's favor with two part round the saiyan mortal, Cumber and the Enlightened God, Buddha prove to be unbelievably powerful compare to the like of Baldur and Zero then later Hajun. This truly wasn't turning out how they expected at all, since the fight of Round 1.
"It seems once again, Humanity has taken the lead." Hermes stated. "To be served two defeats and on top of Buddha's betrayal… it's the most bitter loss for us indeed."
"If we suffer yet another defeat at their hands the tides of the tournament could easily turn to favor even more than before." Hermes said firmly.
"Yes… which means whether right or wrong…" Zeus said, vein beginning ti bulb and throb. "We must win this next round by any means necessary." He said seriously, flexing his legs muscles in frustration.
"Indeed. But who do you intend to send out next?" Hermes asked.
Both him and Zeus thought it over even though Hade took over Buddha's slot there was still a miss with Bishamonten's slot, Ares thought it would be him which both terrified and sock him but Hades dashed them.
"I will be the one to fight in Round 7." Hades told his family.
"Really you plan to fight, brother?" Zeus asked. "Why?" He asked.
"Why? To avenge my dear brother, Poseidon!" Hades said seriously.
Done! Now I bet you're wondering who I am going to have next. The next fight is going to be very intense and interesting. The next fight will be Hades vs Escanor, can't wait to write that fight.
Peace!
