Exploring the origins of Franky/Bridget. A first time fic. Taking place between season three and the beginning of season four. My first time, also, writing this pair.

Volatile - liable to change rapidly and unpredictably, especially for the worse. AU where Bridget is an ex-psychologist and inmate whose about 30 and Franky's barely an adult and hasn't built her walls, because I love their relationship but it was pretty inappropriate, from a professional point of view.

Set during season four, Franky doesn't approve of Allie's attraction towards Bea, even if she totally gets where it's coming from.

My take on what happens after Frankie walks out of Wentworth as a free woman.

Support worker Allie finds herself helping a young girl one evening and, as a result her whole life changes.

London, 1889. Bridget Westfall is a brilliant scientist and inventor. When her father is kidnapped by the unscrupulous Dr Ferguson in order to obtain her latest invention, Bridget enlists the help of petty criminal Francesca Doyle (currently locked-up in Millbank Prison) to get him back. Adventure, time-travel and romance ensue.

Inspired by CuriousStar's amazing prompt: Bea never tried to kill Harry. Instead after she gets beaten pretty badly she goes to a women's shelter for a night and meets Allie. Bea continues to go back to the shelter even when she hasn't been hurt (does hair makeovers for the other women?) and grows closer to Allie. As you can see, A Different Choice makes for a different story!

Post season 5. Franky has proven her innocence and has finally completed her parole period. A series of one-shots (in no particular chronological order) detailing Franky's growth post-Wentworth. Rating listed at the top of each one-shot. Mostly PG-13 and under however, there may be some M rated one-shots along the way.

Franky is cleared of Mike Pennisi and Iman Farah's murder and is released without further charge. This is how her release went, the second time around. Something I thought of while sat at work.

Bea Smith finally decides to leave her husband. She takes her daughter and moves to South Hampton, Long Island. She hires Allie Novak as her divorce attorney. The process is difficult but Allie gets her through it and in the process they find love.

One-shot. Allie is dying and Bea is about to kill the Freak.

Franky and Bridget have just broken up. Something happens to Franky that may be enough to draw Bridget back in.
