Scott's fight between love and duty comes to a head when Jean is targeted and attracts the deadly Phoenix Force. Refusing to watch her suffer, he calls the entity to himself. Determined to temper the dangerous power, he promises to usher in a new age for mutant kind. The X-Men fight valiantly to keep the heart of Charles' dream alive. "Humans, it's going to be a long summer."

Remy confronts the unfinished business he left on the bayou and in Rogue's hand when he returns to the school to finally ask her on a date. Can his past stay away long enough to pick up where they left off? Or, is there a reason Remy's never laid down his roots? Was this gambit the wrong one to make?

Charles wipes Rogue's mind after a trauma under order, dividing everyone. When the same mistake leaves another vulnerable, they start to wonder if Charles is the man they thought he was. Meanwhile, Rogue feels a presence following her, a strange absence in her mind, and a general calm she's never had. But, it's all only the calm before the storm... Will the X-Men Survive?

Upon realizing he can no longer risk not getting help controlling his powers, Ryan seeks out the assistance of Prefessor X. When he arrives, he quickly becomes friends with Rogue, the resident goth. Little does he know, she can tell that his powers aren't the only secret he keeps, and she intends to find out exactly what he's hiding.

A mission gone wrong leaves Rogue and Logan traumatized, hurt, & changed. Forced into her mind by the abuse of Genoshan guards, Rogue returns with Logan a regressed version of herself. Will she ever be the person she was, or will she always feel safest wherever she's gone?

In a tense world, Rogue embarks on a mission surrounding the mutant cure that goes a way that she cannot predict. Why was she stuck in a time loop? Was what she experiencing real? Was the future really doomed, or is that what someone wants her to think? What can she do with so much power when everyone has an agenda?

Just a short, aftermath scene of Spyke leaving to join the Morlocks. The way the show does it is true to life and powerful; sometimes you just move on. People come, people go and it's not always easy. But, I always felt the team (in this case, Rogue) had more of a reaction to him choosing to leave, not just Storm. one shot

Peripeteia: noun; in a tragedy, sudden reversal of luck from good to bad. Rogue's searching for a sign after Apocalypse leaves her reeling. When she connects with Wanda, she wonders is it better to have loved and lost, then to have never have loved at all? And, are Wanda's affections true? Are things ever that simple?
