Here's some wild speculation about the story behind it where Myka struggles with conflicting feelings for H.G., moving from distrust and anger to slow affection and understanding throughout the plots of Time will Tell and For the Team, and finally she has to choose to accept the latter or push it away.

Helena returns in a way no one had expected, and she and Myka may have found their time at last. Shortfic.
