Bridesmaid Up And Goodbye(part 1).
...
It wasn't fair for Catherine as she watched Thomas and Brooke sharing their first dance and thanking everybody for coming. How crap she must've have felt by letting him go. All because she was afraid that his own crossed DNA was changing so fast than she had expected to be.
With everything they've occured together lately like overcoming the strange and changing Vincent's behavior and with the way his blackouts explained because of the side effects coming from the injection he had received from many years ago. All thanks to her mother. May she lously rotten up into her grave, Cat had cursedly thought back in silence when she shut down her eyes and held herself to not bite up her upper lip in frustration even if she wanted to, so badly.
'Crap. Why did you let him go, Cat? What happened to the motto of not being scared of him? Of Vincent?' Why did she let herself believe into that trap when she had known better when she had finally let her guard down and open up her heart to him? And especially when she should've had walked away when he told her to, but didn't. She stood by him when he locked himself into the warehouse cage, after savagedly killing a frat boy and the very same one who held an tied up Evan Marks to the deepest and under ground of the subways area. Evan. Who had had been trumatized ever since he heard the horror and felt the kid's blood onto him when the monster was ripping and tearing out of his flesh. The screams and terror he must have felt still kept him awake on a few nights. Cat didn't had to tell him, but could had seen it from his features. Evan was frightened by that event and still looked through every detail of what he could find into the vigilante. And with the badge she carried on, she felt like she was betraying Vincent, and by siding with Vincent, she was betraying Evan, and to forget many other people like Tess and everybody at the police station as she heard Joe, a few weeks before. That not only her own precinct was working onto tracking Vincent, but there were a few others as well.
And even if she try to to act up or be normal as she could be, it wasn't even possible. No. It couldn't and it wasn't fair to her now. Not after the dance that she and Vincent had earlier and when they've kept at staring each other as if the world didn't mattered to them, anymore now. And how close she felt safe in his arms, and much closer she felt when laid her head onto his chest, where she felt his heart beating up so fast beneath his tuxedo and freshedly ironed clothes. It simply took her breath away into a instant. Oh God. Why did she let him go? When everything looked so perfect and when they had each other. To see each other without the fear of getting caught up because the beast's rage now. Even if Vincent had said that there is still no cure to get rid of it, but it was way less worse than to stay apart this time now that the serum had worked and stopped the blackouts for good. They could be together now. But still she pushedhim away to leave, because she was afraid.
Why?
It felt like her heart had been ripped apart when she watched him leave away the outside reception. A fairytale that had gotten wrong and because of other people insecurities, here and with Evan's warning with how fast the DNA he had been studying was changing faster. When she should have know better than this. After all, Vincent's DNA was as much complicated as it was to follow she had gotten a glimpse to it when she had seen him transform and injected through his cage when he desparetely needed answers to his unknown blackouts. And how he loathed himself on each time when he took a inniocent life away from living. Because of his beast's uncontrolling rage.
But because, he was human and he has emotions like any other human would feel. A man with a gold heart who tracks criminals at night as a way to bring redemption to himself and to the uncounting sins he had been forced to make as a beast. And especially when he did saved her from the men whom had killed her mother.
Not a monster. No. Vincent isn't a monster. She thought back at that thought with a smile.
"He's not a monster.." But a human. And she loves him. Oh, wait up a second here.. She blinked up. Cat snapped back up to the real moment here as the real world had welcomed her back to this instant where young women had gathered around to catch up the bouquet as they pushed themselves as they squeeled back together. With Heather includded. Even if she was as drunk as ever. Cat took a few steps back and whirled around away from the crowd, astonished with herself.
Feelings she didn't know she had until now. When she realized that she had them. When her heart was racing up to whenever her thoughts were onto Vincent. She loved him. She loved him. Say it! Say it! Say it, again! Until you're convinced!
"Yes, I love him.." She whispered back to herself as she brought up her palm to her chest where her heart was racing up just to think of the fallen man. "I love him.." She nervously chuckled back. But did he loved her? That was the question here. Did he? She wasn't sure. And even if he did looked up at with admiration and with hidden love, she wanted him to say the words. She wanted to hear it from him. She had to leave and catch him up before it would be too late.
"Cat? You're okay?" It once snapped her back to the present as she realized who was talking up down onto her when her hazel orbs focused onto the owner's voice. It was Evan. She shook up her head as her loosen brown curls moved slowly onto her bare shoulders. She didn't quite catch it up with Evan's voice when she blinked out, again. Loss at words.
"Sorry?"
"You've stepped out of the bouquet's way when other women were rushing to get it. It should be your moment as well.." Her moment? No. She already had it before it faded away because of her less and not so confidence over protecting the man of her dreams. When she should've had kept him here.
"I don't think so.." No. She didn't think so much. There would be many other times to catch any pride's bouquet, but not enough time catch Vincent, unless he had already walked up away through the shadows of the night. She needed to tell him. Tame up the beast away with the flame of love. She needed to be elsewhere but not here where she felt light she ran out of breath.
She had to go and find him fast.
"What?"
"I gotta go.." She shook her head back and grabbed her vest out from the chair as she whirled back to him."Look, I've gotta go now. There's somebody I need to catch right now. I need to get Heather's keys, since she can drive when she's drunk here." She turned her head back and forth onto looking for her sister's purse. Which it was just a few chairs away from hers. She drew up a sigh and wobbled back to Heather's chair and grabbed up the mini purse as she snapped it open with her shaking fingers and dig through it until she found the keys. Her sister's car keys."You better bring her back home, after the party.." She dropped the purse onto the chair's seat and whirled around as she walked and passed through Evan's way.
"Catherine, wait!" He called up back as he walked right behind her as Cat made her way to the crowd in hurry holding her beige vest onto a arm while the other held onto her own purse and keys.
"Catherine, wait, let's talk up here!" But there was nothing to say or to talk about. She just needed to find him. Evan's voice was deaf to ears as she walked past to an drunken but happy Heather would was hanging out with a few friends of the bride with a glass of wine onto her hold.
"Hey, going somewhere, sis?"
"Yeah, unfortunatelly I've got to go and you gotta have to or else you'll gonna be sick, honey..Don't wanna to throw all over the car seat, no?" Cat had smirked back up to Heather's confused frown until she rose up the keys at the air. This when Heather realized that her cop sister had got caught her up to the clue here.
"Cat, seriously! You're taking my car?"
"Can't have you throw up or getting caught by another cop than me, here. Evan's gonna take you home. Now be nice and go with him before you trip over your heels. If I were you; I wouldn't walk drunk at this state."
"Cat!"
"Hey, wait up a minute!" Evan once again. But Cat wouldn't let him getting over her head this time. This time, she would be following her own heart, and it was telling her that she needed to run and fast. She gave her sister a big hug that had almost squeezed her out of breath.
"Cat, you're sure; that you'tre okay?"
"I'll tell you more, once I get home. Don't worry." I just need to get to Vincent and tell him what I feel. She pulled up apart and patted Heather's shoulder with assurance before she turned around see Evan that has finally reached up to them."Make sure she gets some water and sober after she pees, and later bring her to your car. Say hi to Dad and Brooke for me. Have a safe drive."
"Hey Cat! Where are you going?" But Heather's voice went deaf to her ears as she rushed away from the reception and left the building in a haste.
...
Alone at the dark road where only the highlights were enough for her to see where she was heading up, Cat held up a hand onto the wheel as the other was dialing up the number onto the screen and put her thumb onto the calling spot and waited again for the person to pick it up.
Even if it been for the fifth time, though.
"Come on, pick it up.." Cat cursed up to herself or mostly for Vincent to pick it up or to call up. Almost like begging for him to comeback, it felt this way when she kept looking up for him at the entry and the very same one when he stepped in, which it made her heart racing up when she saw him standing with both hands deep through his pockets, his long hair combed back. Looking so handsome but cute as he stood there shy and not so sure if he should step or walk inside where the crowd was coming together to dance. Just like they were.
"This number whom you're trying to reach up person whom you've reached is unavailable, but please a message." The phone call left up into the voicemail when she dropped out a whinning sound, being desparate.
"Vincent, where are you? Damn it!" She replied back onto her own and alone as she tried press up onto the accerlerator by going faster and pressed up the phone number. Pick it up! Pick it up! Come on! Vincent, I'm so sorry! I shouldn't have had doubted you! I shouldn't..I shouldn't- However, her thoughts had been interrupted when she thought she did hear an ringtone coming from afar and away from her front direction. What was that? She thrown away the phone back at behind and focused up her free hand onto the wheel as her heel pressed up onto the accelerator more and more. Until her vision had caught up something or more like someone walking in the middle of the road. Lost and alone. She had known this so familiar silouette.
Vincent.
He was walking alone throughtout the road with his hair locks floating up through the wind. His hands deep into his pockets as he stared up at upward. His dark vest unbuttoned as his black tie was taken lost and alone with his thoughts. But sad. But it was him. It was him from the back and from behind. Cat was dumfounded so much as the car kept going faster and rushing up to his side and slowing bringing up the window down.
"Vincent.." She called him up as he kept on walking and not turning up to meet her glance. As if she wasn't there or more like he didn't care."Vincent!"
"What do you want?" He replied back without giving a damn onto his sounding voice here. Or more he did sounded annoyed or more like pissed here as he kept walking.
"What are you doing here?" She called him back trying to start up an conversation here in the middle of the dark road.
"Walking."
"Alone?"
"I'm over twenty-one and way more. I can walk alone at the dark..It's easy." He shrugged back his shoulders as he snorted off.
"Are you nuts?" She wondered if he was being serious or not. She called herself an paranoid kind, but to think he could get caught up here by who else was out there or so. This wasn't the kind of the funny thing to imagine. Unlike the tv or anime shows she used to watch, it wasn't funny.
"Maybe. I'll probably eat a rat, before I began to starve out here." He sarcastically replied back with a joke. Even if it meant to be funny, which it wasn't. Not to him or to her. Both of them.
"After all and like you said, my own DNA might change so I might get used to eating fresh meat, in anytime soon.."
"Vincent, I didn't meant to say that-"
"But you did. You just don't trust me enough unlike Evan, you do trust him onto whatever he says back." He objected back as he sounded a little bit different unless he sounded a bit out of it. Wasn't he? No...
"Vincent-"
"Which you do.." Didn't she? But Cat tried to explain herself.
"I shouldn't have had. I'm sorry if I let you believe it was the case, I-"
"You said it yourself. I'm becoming more like an animal. There's no escape or mistake about that, Catherine." He replied back coldly up when he turned his face over hers as he kept walking over to his way. However, his answer didn't reached up to his expression. He wasn't happy or angry. But sad. Sad to him as she did not chosed to believe in him when she decided to believe other people like Evan. The man whom Vincent had peeked out when the blond haired man had kissed her at her own birthday party. Which it did made him seem a little jealous unless he had feelings for her.
Did he?
"Vincent, I can't let you go like this..We can work things through-"
"Work things through? Don't make me laugh or dream, Catherine. You made yourself clear with the way you looked up to me, tonight-"
"How did I looked up to you? Tell me how? So I need to know-" She tried to tell him how she had hurted him as he turned back his head away from her face when the car had slowly stepped back as he kept walking up away from her view. Leaving her onto shock from his hurtful words. As if the dance they've shared earlier tonight, hadn't meant nothing at all. The moment as they were almost ready to kiss. Sharing their first kiss together and being onto their own world. Her heart shatterred at these words much as his own had been when she told him that a possible future for them was just impossible to live.
"I'm starting and getting to look more animal just like you said it. So, just go away-I can't let you look up at me the way you do now.." He struggled up with his words as he kept onto walking up to his way. "You're human Catherine, so go and be with them while you still can. And let me be an animal. A beast as I've heard it, so many times." He added up back the last sentence that both of them had hated to say back to each other. A word that she never believed to have had used until now when she come up and crashed with the horrifying news that nobody wanted to hear. Not even a doctor could have made it through. And yet. Catherine couldn't do it and did it so. But she couldn't let him walk away again and once or else she might regret of ever letting it happenening again. She wouldn't let herself to forgive of letting Vincent walk away again. It didn't mattered if Vincent was an wanted man or not by his makers, she couldn't let him go away because of her fears. Fear, that he might become more of an animal. No.
Hell no!
She couldn't let him go away. She couldn't! Move, you bitch! It's now or never! Without a second move, Cat had cut off the engine and shutting down the hightlights and pushed the door open here. And ran by with her high heels to stop him. Looking ridiculous or not with her attirance here, tonight. She ran. Ran and whirled around to face up at him and started to push him back much for his astonishement. She watched his eyes grow wide as he hadn't expected her to act or move up like a madwoman so fast. Good. Let him think that a short woman with a dress and high heels could also top things up with a strong man here, she wasn't afraid of any possible judgement being made up here.
"Cat-Cat-Hang on-Wait, wait up-Ow-Ow!" Vincent had backed up back as she kept onto pushing him with both palms up to his chest as he backed behind up. His feet couldn't help but walked the other way around when her high heel were making his steps. Almost coming onto step onto his new shoes freshdly taking out of the closet. Not to mention he almost lost his own footsteps, here. Ouch. She did stepped onto his feet as he grimaced with a grunt sound.
"Cat-Catherine-"
"Shut up! And keep onto stepping back and keep on walking back! I won't be repeating it, again!"
"Ow! Ow! Catheri-"
"Shut up! You bastard!" She almost explooded back into threatening tears when she grabbed up by his collar and made him laid onto the car's front when his back felt cold here. But as he could only stare right through her angry and burning eyes through the dark. Vincent stood up in suroundement when Catherine held him hard against the car, fuming like a madwoman. Her breath coming in and out through the air here and as much as her heart was racing here. He held his hands up at the air, in defeat as if he was gonna get himself arrest here.
But how spooked, he must have been here at the pick of the night here with a short woman with a strong handling grasp. Close to make him lose his breath here.
"Wait-Cat-"
"I told you to shut up and you still don't listen, you jackass!" She exploded right back to his face so much it left him frightened by the tone of her voice here. Close to break up into sobs. For a second when he closed up his mouth and waited for her to say something here. Despite his heart was racing up like mad.
"I didn't come up all the way to scold you up here, but to say that I'm sorry, alright?" She responsed back without a second as he nodded quickly like an idiot. Or feeling like an idiot, here. With the way they were both lounged up at this position together. With her onto of him while he laid against the car. How close, he fet her heart beating up like crazy against his. Going wild as if they weren't having sex. They would have had if they were a normal couple.
"I came here to look up to you and tell you that I was wrong. That I accept all of what you are. And even when you've told me to get away, I didn't. I couldn't do it. Just couldn't." Cat breathed out the last words as much it was aching her to tell them out loud here, when Vincent wondered back, still perplexed with the revealation here.
"Why didn't you?"
"I couldn't and it wouldn't be fair to me or to you. Let's face it. I'm too crazy in love with you to back away from who you are and to be honest; it does scare me. But what life would I have if you weren't in it?" Cat had cried back through her voice when the thought had almost escaped him to think of. Didn't she said that she loved him? She sure did. Unless, it was her heart that spoke out loud for the words to come out of her chest.
He was strucked to hear that she loved him. She loved him. His eyes widened through the night when hers were wattering and only for him. Vincent slowly grabbed her hands as he started to move. He felt her fingers under his hold, shaking uncontrolled up as he gently pushed himself away from the car. Still surprised by this revealation when she fell into sobs so much it ached him to see her cry because of him. And yet, relieved when he was the reason of her tears. To hear her say that she loved him, that was all it matters. That a such strong and fearless woman like Catherine had the guts to grow and to love him.
"Catherine-"
"Just shut up, I've said!" She cut him off as tears fell down onto her cheeks. "You think you could just walk up away as if I wanted to. No. I wanted you to stay with me and tell me that everything's gonna be alright. Prove me wrong,Vincent. But that's what I've wanted you to say, and you've walked away. All because I believed it was better this way when it wasn't for the both of us." Cat had took a deep breath and wip out the streaking tears onto her cheeks as much he wanted to clear them away for her.
"It didn't mattered to me, what your DNA was slowly changing to be and I was wrong to make you think that it was, when it wasn't. Beast or not, you stay the same person I've met. It is you." Cat had concluded back to his face as he nodded and to which she took as a agreement."It's not important to me as long you stay the same man to me. The same man who saved me and to whom I've started to fall for, even if he doesn't reply to these feelings-"
"Catherine, I-" But she shook her head as she kept on talking up here.
"It's okay, if you don't feel the same here for me, but I just wanted you to know that you were important and valuable person to me and that my heart wouldn't never let me forgive or forget if I didn't come up tonight, to tell you what I've felt to you. Cause if you don't-"
"This is where I'm also telling you to shut up here, too.." He decided to cut her as he decided to face up his emotions here as she just did. When she stood back and waited for him to continue. As he stood there under her hold, being serious as he shown up to be.
"Before meeting you I was nothing, but waiting to anybody to get to me. It didn't mattered if J.T. did tried to find a cure or not. I had known it wasn't worth I wasn't worth it by being alone against anybody." He declared back under her hold here. "A part of me was slowly fading away Catherine. I looked everywhere and whenever people were walking or holding on to each other, I just wanted to disappear until, I've meet you back at that night." Vincent tried to make it short as much as his heart could manage. As much as any breath could take. He shivered through the hot air when he leaned over her more as he brought up his shaking hand to cup up her cheek to wipe off the tears." And since you've alked up onto those stairs back at the warehouse, after nine years away. You've saved me from that day, and kept me from losing my mind here as I've watched you from afar. I know it's sounds like a stupid stalker story, but it's true." He dropped out this line flat as she nervously chuckled which he did as well.
"But it did help me to not lose my mind or to lose myself to the other guy. A part of me, that I've loathed myself but that you've helped me to understand and to keep it under control, Catherine."
"Vincent.."
"You've told me that you've loved me. Please tell me it was true." His voice tome shook back as his chin trembled up a bit when he saw her eyes that were about to water once again. He swallowed back up his saliva from deep down through his throat."Cause I need to hear it from you once again. Even it does sounds desperate and even if it's for a second. I need it to hear it, once again. To make it sure it's true. Please, Catherine." He almost begged when his voice wanted to make sure she wasn't lying and even if she wasn't from her heartbeat, he wanted to hear her saying it. But it wasn't any second thought onto it. It wasn't. Catherine had made her choice when she told him that she loved him. You love him, you bitch. And he wants you to hear it from the deepest of your heart. Even if it's from an nineties and cheepiest bubblegum, love song.. There was no mistake to that. She really loved this man and would go anywhere in order to be there for him and save him. Keep him and to love him where there no more harm or anywhere else outside of the world.
But Catherine just shook up her head and cupped his face with her hands, with a smile that only her eyes responded to it while his own brown orbs waited for answer. Telling him the truth of her own hidden feelings and only for one man here. When he looked down onto her, hopelessly waiting for her to answer him.
"I love you, Vincent. And it doesn't matter what you're changing up or not. To me, you stay the same man as you are today."
"Even if I have to grow a few whiskers or a growning up a tail? You'd take me as I am, today?" He couldn't help himself but to smirk at her face back when he felt his heart jump with pure happiness. Which she nodded with agreement here giving him the best grin she had ever gave to a man, for the first time in nine years.
"Always and forever. It doesn't matter.." It was an hell of a promise she'd made. She had known but was willing to take the bet. Just to see him crack up a smile and only for her, it was enough for tonight.
"Then, yes. Hell of a yeah, here.." He breathed out through thin air and before she could answer, she found his lips brushing through hers as his tongue went deeper intro her mouth and twisted around hers when she closed up her eyes and felt his hands dropping down to her waist to bring her closer to him. Vincent kissed her through her as her breath became unclear to which she let her fingers travel around from his cheeks and dig deep through his hair when he held her tight against him. She closed up her eyes when she felt his hands onto her waltzing around her dress. Making her go wild and crazy, even if they were out of nowhere. A little too fast. Her fingers were trying unbountening his shirt when his own fingers revealed their magic that made her body shiver right here. His fingers had somehow found their way under her dress and touching her thigh. Her skin had gotten sensitive over his cold touch.
Almost releasing up a relapse through a short time climax. She've thought back when she felt many vibrations going through her body because of him.
Catherine felt her breath quickenedly losing up when she felt his hand bringing up her leg up closer and around to his thigh as much she wanted to. Even things were slowly going a bit faster. However, she didn't wanting him to stop when she felt his hands traveling around her back and go deep through her dress. Inside of her dress, where his cold fingers were traveling around from her back through her dress and upward onto her navel before it slid down inside her underwear. Almost made her wet when his fingers touched the sensitive place that made her yelp for pleasure. She closed up her eyes when she dropped out a moan out of her control. She felt her body going through shivers at the way his fingers were tickerling around and playing around. She let her back arching and making up a moving standing motivation when she pulled apart from him and looked onto his half opened up eyes. Golden eyes. How beautiful he looked like as he laid onto the car, breathing hardly when she felt his half exposed and bare chest moving upward and down hard.
"Catherine, why did you-"
"Your eyes, Vincent..They're glowing here.." She reminded him before he realized as he made an atrempt to move away from the dark when she shushed him back with assurance."But I think they're just as beautiful, from the way they are. Just like you are..A part of you."
"Catherine.." He breathed her name out, helplessly. She felt his erection wanting to his explode under these pants here when she blurted this one line out and without any hesitation.
"Please, Vincent." She brought up his hand. His sneaking one that toyed around her underwear up to her breast. "Touch me, tonight." When he smirked back with his golden eyes, but brought back her hands away before they could go any way farther. Which made her looking down onto him with question.
"Vincent.."
"I don't think it might be the perfect spot to make-out and out through the middle of the road, no?" He stopped her through the suspense here when she looked up down at him confused as he breathed in and out, all with being sweat up here and under her hold and laid down onto her car's front.
"Such as?"
"Making out as if we're lost and out of nowhere? You want to do that in here? Sex onto the road?" What? She looked up back and forth around themselves as they've stood up alone through the road. But now as she was thinking about it. It just wasn't the right spot here. Or the right place to make sex, either. She looked embarrassed for a second. Like an idiot; how could she had the thought of making out and right here? In the middle of nowhere? And they said you had been over thinking about everything, Cat..Not so much, although.
"Oh..Oh Boy.." What the hell was she thinking over it? And with no sex protection? She shook back her head and blushed over her expressions. Or maybe getting ahead of her expressions, here.
"Yup. Quite reckless to think of.." Vincent had replied back with a snort chuckle here when she ran her hand through her messy hair clurls here.
"You and I both." She pulled herself away from him as she re-adjusted up down her dress. When she looked up back to him with a warning look as she arched up an eyebrow to him."But that doesn't mean we're stopping whatever we just started. Once we go back to your place, let's go back to where e've but been cut out.."
"Is that an order, Detective Chandler?" He challenged back at her face.
"It sure is." She smirked back and stole him up a quicky peck onto his lips before she wobbled back to the car and opened up the driver's door before she could slid into it. And started the engine. And opened up the passenger door for him."I surely hope I wouldn't get caught up with a baseball bat this time, once we get at your place. If I recall the last time.."
"Don't." Vincent had assured her back as he slid down into the seat and slammed the door shut. He buckled himself straight. "Before I left, J.T. had told me that he had a late night class to catch up and wouldn't be at home, until 4am of the morning.. So, it'll give us some time before, he'll show up and if he does come up with a bat, I'll be there to protect you from this beast."
"My hero, right.." She snorted back with a cute pout manner as he chuckled back nervously when she started up the car and drove away through the road."But you did told him you were going away for the night, no?" And this is where she noticed how his face had changed for a minute, here. There was something that he didn't tell her..Her eyebrows narrowed when his head turned over the open window. This where she figured out that he did hide something from her. ..
"Well.."
"You didn't?"
"Look, it's not that easy..I kinda sneaked away while he was gone..So, if you do the math.." If she could kick his ass right now, she would've had done it without a second or even flip out just like J.T. would have done, either way. And now, that he would probably find out that his best friend had sneaked out..Flip out even with a baseball bat and ready to attack in any time.
"You do know it wasn't such a brillant idea to sneak out behind the guy who had started the 'So against Cat plot club.' And knowning how it'll probably lead things onto.."
"I know. I know." Vincent had cut her off when he looked back at her."But I can't keep on letting things getting out of my way. Beast or not, it doesn't matter. And like I've said before, I've shown up because I wanted to. To be with you." Even if whatever he said was brave and romantic, it was also reckless and stupid.
"I'll have to train up my kicking up feet once again-" She mumbled to herself but it felt real when he kept onto explaining again much to her displeasure here. She didn't liked any much of it.
"I'm serious, Catherine. I got there because I've wanted to be with you. One day or another, the truth about my state of well being would surely come out..And I don't mean by being a human living, but as a beast.." Say what? Did she heard him right, here? No, there was no way he would do such a thing like that! He couldn't! He might put himself into danger and not to mention other people, like herself or J.T. It didn't mattered if it was by an self-sacrifice or not. He couldn't do it. No!
"Aren't you insane? Vincent!" She hurried back her words right back to him when she stared back at the corner of her right direction, as if he was crazy. But he wasn't. If being in love meant to do crazy things in order to be free from a curse, it was totally insane. And not to mention, not safe, at all. What if Murfield get themselves into it? Into Vincent? And of all the people that he cared of him so much? No!
"No, I'm not." Damn it. Was he willing to turn himself in. Once again?
"Vincent..There's still Murfield, out there. We can't keep on having a natural relationship like this when we both know that it isn't true. We both love each other, I get it, but what if something happens-"
"Catherine, I can't-"
"No, I won't accept that..I can't and I won-" Catherine's words were shut off when she had no other control onto the car when it started to spin around as the passenger door crashed. An loud crushing sound was heard towards her ears as much when Vincent's voice yelled her name when the car spin around from her control. Everything went so fast as when the car was spinning up and over around until went back onto the right spot. Grunt out with a wince when she felt herself awfull and ten times worse under the the rushed up adrenaline, Catherine closed up her eyes when she felt her own body aching up with fire. And not to forget pain.
Unforgetting pain, that she ever felt in nine years.
Moaning in pain over the sudden crash, Cat blinked up back her eyes as much when her head felt like spinning around, but luckily, she had her seatbelt clutching up to herself as much it was for Vincent.
Vincent!
Blurting up a shocking gasp, she whirled around with a stupid groan when she saw him leaned over onto the seat, looking uncounscious with a bleeding streak fell from his scalp through onto the right side, as his head was onto the left way. Probably from the blow of the sudden accident.
"Vincent, Vincent!" She yelped back with hurry as she tried to budge herself away from the seatbelt, but couldn't move from the strenght from the seatbelt. Wished she had an cutter somewhere out here, she almost cursed out back to herself."Vincent, wake up!" She croaked back feeling helpless here in the middle of the night but it didn't muched stopped her when she pushed herself away from her seat and even with the belt that clutched up to her chest, she moved over to his side as she tried to pushed, no, but pulled up away from the hold from his seatbelt, in a rushing matter. Come on, come on! Her fingers rushed and trembled through the hold but refused to give up when the hold slipped away through her strength which made Vincent release up a grunt when the hold wasn't there any more.
And blinked up through his eyes as he released out a deep breath but coughed out, much to her relief when he finally moved.
"Vincent! Thank God.."
"Catherine? What had-" He asked to himself as he touched out his forehead with his raised up and shaking fingers. And fliched over the pain and winced over the sight when he took a glimpse over the sight of blood here when his fingers leveled over his eyes."What just?"
"Let's just get out of here..You can't-" She pointed over the belt over here when his eyes looked back down with confusion. Crap, he looked confused here. Maybe because of the shock. A sudden concussion, maybe. Unless beasts do overcome theirs injuries quickly."Vincent?"
"I think I can.." He cleared up his throat when he tried to find the strength he could to break out the selt belt from its hold, harder and harder as he pulled over and over, but it wasn't no use. After a minute or two, Vincent released up an sudden growling sound through his throat back when Catherine had noticed his eyes shutting up close for a minute when her heart hesitated for the worse and when she expected the worse to come. No. No.
"Vincent, don't..Don't!" But it was too late when an loud and enraging roar was was heard and to her when Vincent had allowed himself to transform himself into the monster as the beast summounded up to the darkeness here and to whom she was broken out free from the hold with his veined hands and to where claws had taken place instead of his natural nails. And even if Catherine was frightened up by the event or mostly by Vincent's sudden change, she couldn't help but to stare at him, with determinate and courage when her eyes looked up back to meet his own golden and enraging ones as she breathed out and as much her chest rose up with fear from adrenaline.
He was simply beautiful as the beast stood there but deep inside there was the man fighting to keep his humanity still intact from disappear. He inhaled and exhaled through thin air and yet as he felt his cheek getting warmed up from her shaking hand when he finally let himself close his eyes and as the beast calmed down finally, under her touch. It was a simply tender moment and didn't mattered if it was the other way around and throughtout coming out from a car accident, Catherine felt it was the right moment to express her gratitude towards this man she grown out to love and to discover without any fear here. Cause despite the beast, Vincent had always had the way to find and to save her just as much she had the way to make him feel better.
She watched him change as the veins from his face were disappearing letting Vincent comeback to himself as he snapped his eyes open. His brown chocolate ones reflected through the darkness, with disbelief as he couldn't believe it what just occured up here. Not much as herself but, she didn't regretted any way.
"Catherine.."
"It's okay, Vincent. You're here with me. You're back.." She assured him with a comforting smile when he sat there looking like an idiot to her eyes.
"How did you-How did you brought me-" His words were cut out with a grunt sound as his body collapsed over to the seat once again to her shock when he was pushed back to his seat. He shut down his eyes as he held himself toward his left side and upward onto his chest as he brought up his hand toward his chest with pain. Leaving her into shock through the sudden thing that she couldn't stop herself from happening here. Vincent got shot here and out of nowhere!
"Vincent! Vincent!" But where had the bullet came from? She had no clue. When she lunged over him and tried to move his hand away from his chest. He kept her from doing it until he let his fingers wringgling away as the blood spot was forming and leaking up onto his shirt. He had gotten himself shot here!
But, by whom? There was nobody around here! Unless..
"Stay with me! Vincent, stay with me!"
"How was the wedding without a date?" And this where everything stopped from, a second. When it all come up clear to her mind her, a second. Cat felt her bones shiver when she turned her head around to see the last person she expected to see here. Sabrina Meyer. The woman who had been caught up onto the act from protecting her husband from exposure when she she covered him from a murder act. She had the guts to ruin up and show herself here while she should had been under surveillance..
"Sabrina.." She breathed out without instant when she saw the short and dark haired woman with a white suit coming out from her car with a frown as she looked up to the scene that just occured or more like she made it happen under her hands.
"Not so good? Looks you aren't so lucky with men after all, not even him wanted to get over you." Sabrina stared back at Vincent who was already trying to stay awake as much when his breath started to laborating here. He was already having troubling breathing and to whenever he tried to keep his eyes half open here. Something not good.
"Now, look whose broken.."
"You don't want this.." Catherine had slowly moved away from Vincent when her eyes watched up Sabrina's hands moving up to her inside of her jacket. She had come up prepared and armed up with something. Her eyes had never left hers when reached up to the drawner as she wanted to reach up to her gun.
"I already know what I want.." Sabrina had sworn back when Cat flinched up as she opened up her drawner when she listened up to Sabrina's words."You've ruined my happily ever after.." And the bitch rose up her gun with her face cold as stone and right directly over Cat."And now, I'm gonna ruin yours." But as she was about to shoot, Cat had gotten up to her own and aimed over to the ex-matchmacker's leg and pulled out the bullet before Sabrina had done over and to kill her.

To Be Continued..
I'm sorry for those who've waited long enough for me to write up something about VinCat. I've been going a lot, emotionally and stressed enough through this summer. Depressed, if you allow me to say. Writting loving BATB wasn't onto mind, lately. I felt so hopeless that I've almost shutted myself down. However, I've managed to bring myself up again into the light. It wasn't so easy, but I've made it through. I've always wanted to write my own take onto the Brisemaid Up episode, from S1x09. What an amazing episode it had been with VinCat's first dance at the wedding, here with Cat rushing up to catch Vincent. But this idea had come up onto my mind lately, and I wanted to write it down here. Is there gonna be a second part? Who knows?
P.S. There was an sex scene that I've wrote before and that had been into the first part here, but after I've read it again, I felt it had been too rushed into VinCat's developping relationship, in my opinion. I had to cut it off. It was already too soon to happen and out of the road? It was a little too weird. Sorry Beasties, again!
And thank your for your patience and love. It's always being appreciated and I'm sorry for the long wait, again. Like I've mentionned before on my profile, I've got a few VinCat oneshots coming up, I don't know when I'll post them since a I have a few other stories to update as well. Thank You, Beasties. See you soon!
