Disclaimer: I am so sorry for the year long hiatus; I wasn't sure if I wanted to continue this story but now I do. As usual, I don't own anything; this is for fun. I'm introducing my first of many OC villains I have planned. I hope you like her and I hope I didn't make her backstory confusing. Also this will be a time-skip, two weeks, after last chapter and I'm going to be introducing Blake's first fusion and Max's first ultimate. Please read, review and enjoy.
If you would've told Max Greenfield and Blake Johnson two weeks ago that they would be trained as heroes like Ben Tennyson, they would've laughed in your face. Now, they'd never laugh at you again.
After accepting to be trained by Gwen Levin, Kevin Levin, and Rook Blonko, Max and Blake spent hours every day studying Plumber protocols, learning and practicing battle tactics, and hand-to-hand training. If asked which part they found the most annoying and infuriating, they'd have different opinions. Max would say the hand-to-hand training was the most annoying, mainly due to the fact he didn't know how to fight at all like Blake did. Blake, on the other hand, found studying the protocols the hardest, much to Max's amusement.
When they started to practice fighting without their watch/gauntlets with Kevin, Blake did well but, Max did not. His training with Kevin was nothing more than his face constantly meeting the floor. It didn't help that Kevin was smirking the whole time while Blake laughed, obviously enjoying it.
Blake didn't get to enjoy it for long. When they started studying the protocols with Gwen, Max was easily able to learn and understand each one. Blake, however, struggled to process all the information. Max read through one and moved on quickly, Blake was always one step behind. He glared at Max every time the younger teen would comment on his struggle and then laugh.
Despite their own personal struggle in the other two, they both did well when learning battle tactics with Rook. The Revonnahgander had them practice with the Plumbers advanced training simulator. Individually they both did good, but Rook noticed they did better as a team. But to his dismay, Max and Blake did not as they both preferred to fight in their own way. Rook told them that this was something they'd have to work out as future battles would most likely depend on their teamwork.
After those two weeks, Gwen, Kevin, and Rook decided to let them return to the real word as they felt the two were ready. While they still work with the Plumbers, Max and Blake were told to keep their new lives a secret from everyone and to not let anyone know they had connections to the Plumber HQ. Max decided to wear either jackets or long sleeves to help hide the Ultimatrix as he still had to attend high school. Since Blake did not attend school of any kind, Kevin and Rook had Blukic and Driba install a cloaking device to the Biomnitrix, this way Blake could go around town without anyone seeing it. The cloaking device would wear off once the teen hero called on an alien.
Due to him not having a home of his own, they came up with special living arrangements for Blake. He would live and stay at Kevin and Gwen's house in Bellwood. Max didn't need any as he still lived with his parents. When they asked where he had been, Max told them he had to stay at the Plumber HQ to recover. He messaged them every day to let them know how he was doing.
This point in time is where our story takes place.

Late at night, deep in an underground lab, underneath a run-down apartment complex, worked a scientist in her mid-30's. She wore a white lab coat, blue jeans, black shoes, and glasses. She also had dark brown hair in a bun. To most, she looked pretty, but that would change as her skin was a pale light green.
"Finally, after six years of research, I have recreated his formula." She said as she picked up a small vile of green liquid. "Now, I can exact my revenge and the Plumbers will pay."
A loud croak brought her out of her thoughts.
The scientist looked up from the vial in her hand and turned around. She smiled as her mutated pet sat there, waiting patiently. "Of course, my pet. The time has come." Then she raised her other hand and petted its neck. "Now go, and give the Plumbers a message."
The creature gave a loud croak in response before it jumped through the ceiling and made its way to the surface.
"Soon they will pay, they will all pay." She growled as she went back to her experiments. She put the vial back on her chemical set and picked up a pair of goggle-like devices. "But first, I need to get energy." Then she grinned evilly. "And I know just the place."
Xx-Welcome-to-the-Jungle-xX
Max took a deep breath as he walked onto the school bus and took his seat. His Biology class was taking a trip to the Bellwood Zoo, and while he normally enjoyed this class, the zoo was something he did not enjoy. It didn't help that Blake couldn't go with him, otherwise it wouldn't be boring.
"Alright class, listen up."
Max's was brought out of his thoughts as he looked up at his teacher, Mr. Jones, who stood at the front of the bus. "When we get to the zoo, you are NOT to go off by yourself. You are going to be in groups of two, which I will assign once we get there. I do not want a repeat of the Plumber HQ. Am I understood?" He looked directly at Max as he finished. The boy nodded as everyone else sniggered. "Alright, with that said, we'll be on our way."
Then he got into the driver's seat, started the bus, and drove off.
As the bus drove along the road, Max looked out the window and into the sky. "I hope Blake's day goes better than mine will." He thought.
Xx-Welcome-to-the-Jungle-xX
Blake yawned as he entered the elevator to the Plumber HQ. He was hoping to sleep in a little, considering he and Max were finally done with training. But of course, that hope was short lived. Kevin called and said he and the others needed his help, with what, Blake had no clue.
He was brought of his thoughts when he heard the elevator ding. As Blake exited and made his over to the computer, he was surprised to see only Kevin there.
The man in question turned around when he heard the elevator ding and smirked when he saw Blake. "Hey Hotshot." Then he noticed his tired appearance, which only made his smirk widen. "These early mornings still getting to you?"
"Ha, ha, very funny." Blake rolled his eyes. "Now what do you want? And where are Gwen and Rook?"
"Well first, Gwen is on her way and Rook is working on something with Blukic and Driba." Kevin replied. "And secondly, I got a mission for you."
Blake's interest was now caught as he raised an eyebrow. Kevin stepped aside and Blake saw what the Osmosian was previously looking at. On the screen was a news report, the camera showed a broken-down supply store.
"Late last night a local store was broken into. Normally we don't get involved in simple break-ins, but witnesses say the burglar had unusual weapons and the owner said they stole some expensive tech." Kevin explained. "Since Gwen and Rook are on their own mission and Max is on his little field trip, I need you to go and do your own little investigation." He finished as Blake looked back at him.
"Okay, but why couldn't you do it?" Blake asked curiously.
Kevin shrugged. "I could've, but I figured you could use a little on-the-job experience." Then he smirked again. "Unless of course, you're not up for it."
Blake rolled his eyes again. "Oh, I'm up for it." Then he made his way out.
"Remember, this is just an investigation. Radio if you find anything." Kevin called out.
"You got it." Blake nodded as he entered the elevator again.
Xx-Welcome-to-the-Jungle-xX
"Jeez, they have enough police?" Blake asked to no one in particular.
He found the store that was on the news. It was broken-down alright, there was a huge hole where the front doors used to be, the windows were all busted and the whole looked like it was about to collapse. The main thing that stood out was there were the police all around it.
"If I'm gonna investigate, I need to get inside." Blake said to himself. Then he grinned and looked at his left wrist. "And I know just the way to do it." He looked around and ran behind a nearby building. Then he activated the Biomnitix and said an alien. In a flash of green light, he transformed.
Blake's body began to turn grey with black lines running all over, his eyes were replaced with one green one, his hands became claws, his legs and feet were replaced by a ghostly tail, and the Biomnitrix symbol was on the center of his chest.
"GHOSTFREAK!"
The pale, one-eyed, ghost alien opened his eye and saw his new form.
"Whoa, this creepy." Ghostfreak said in his quiet and whispered voice. "But it should work." Then he focused, became invisible, and flew to the store.
As he got closer to the store, Ghostfreak activated his intangibility and flews right in past the cops. Once he was in, he became tangible and visible once again. His one eye widened in surprise as he took in the interior. The whole place had been ransacked, but what surprised the one-eyed specter was that everything seemed to be there.
"I don't get it. Kevin said this place was robbed." Ghostfreak said. "If that's true, then what they did they take?" Then he started to fly around. The cash register and safe was still intact, so they didn't take any money. "Why rob a store just to leave the money behind?"
He was about to leave when something caught his eye. At the very back, there was stack of broken boxes. Getting closer, Ghostfreak picked one of the lids and read the label.
"'Polymorphic Power Batteries'." He read. "Batteries? The thief broke in, trashed the place, just to steal batteries? Doesn't make any sense." He shook his head. "That's not important. Have to show this to Kevin."
With that said, he quickly flew out the store.
Xx-Welcome-to-the-Jungle-xX
"Alright, everyone fall in line." Mr. Jones said as he parked the bus outside the zoo. The students began to exit and eventually fell in place next to each other. "Before we enter, I am going to assign each one of you a partner. You will be in pairs of two, and you must stay with your partner the whole time, no going off on your own." Then he lifted up his clipboard. "First pair, is Max and Jenna."
Max face-palmed as he couldn't help but groan in annoyance. It was bad enough going on this lame trip without Blake, now he had to spend the day with the most annoying girl in school.
Glancing over at the girl in question, he could see that she also was not looking forward to it either, if the frown on her face with was any going to go by. It wasn't long before Mr. Jones finished naming the pairs.
"Now that that's done, we will be on our way." Mr. Jones said. Then he led the class through the entrance.
"Just so you know," Jenna whispered as she walked passed by Max. "this does not mean we are friends. I'm only going along with this because I have no choice. So shut up and don't speak to me."
"Works for me. I don't want to be your friend anyway, and talking to you would just be a waste of breath" Max retorted as he walked ahead, ignoring the glare Jenna sent his way.
Xx-Welcome-to-the-Jungle-xX
'I was right, this sucks.' Max thought only half an hour later.
His class had not even passed the third exhibit and he already wanted leave. Mr. Jones spent what felt like eternity explaining every detail about the rhinos and elephants. The exhibit they were at now was the lions, and Max was half tempted to change into alien and get out of there. Looking at his classmates, he could see some were also bored of their minds and others were struggling to stay awake and listen.
Jenna didn't make it an easier. The rude, obnoxious, snot-nosed blonde was making the trip more miserable than it already was. She would sarcastically comment about how 'interesting' each detail Mr. Jones stated, which made the teacher threaten to give her and Max detention if she kept on. She didn't listen of course, and Max wondered when it would end.
"Now we'll be moving onto the Reptile room. Everyone please follow me." Mr. Jones said finishing his lecture.
Reluctantly, the class followed him into the building that held the reptiles. But before he walked through the door, Max felt the ground slowly start to shake. He looked around and frowned in confusion when he saw nobody there.
"Okay, that was weird. I know I felt the ground shake." Max said as he slowly entered the Reptile room. But once again, the ground shook. Only it shook more then stopped, then shook and stopped, and it kept repeating. Each shake becoming more intense than before.
"What in the world is going on?" Max asked to himself. Looking up, he saw shadow of something in the sky. The only problem was that it was getting closer and closer.
"Max Greenfield, I thought I made it clear you were not supposed to wander off." He heard Mr. Jones say from behind him. Max didn't say anything, just kept looking at the sky. "Max Greenfield, did you hear me?"
"Get back!" Max suddenly as he tackled his teacher out of the way and into the reptile room.
Good thing he did, as the spot where they just were and the entrance to the building was crushed by something massive. When the dust cleared, Max and everyone else in his class looked at the cause, they all had to pinch themselves to make sure they were not dreaming.
"What in the world is that?" Max asked himself.
Sitting there in the hole of the entrance, was a giant creature that resembled a frog. The 'frog' had three red eyes, green skin with black lines, two horns on the top its head, and spikes going down its back. The teacher and class had only a moment to stare in surprise before the 'frog' shot out its tongue, shattering few animal cages.
"Everyone, make for the exit! Now!" Mr. Jones.
The students were all screaming as they tried to escape, trying to avoid being hit by the frog's tongue as it kept shooting it, destroying everything in its sight. As everyone got out, Max went behind a cage that wasn't destroyed. Once hidden, he lifted the Ultimatrix and the dial rose up.
"They said use it only in an emergency, guess this counts." Max said. Then he slammed his hand down.
The frog had just about finished destroying the Reptile room when it felt something hit it from behind and it croaked in pain.
"Alright ugly, how about you fight somebody your own size?" Swampfire asked, fireballs in each in hand.
The frog turned around looked at Swampfire with what the plant-like alien could only assume was a glare. It then shot out its tongue, to which Swampfire jumped to right to dodge, but he couldn't dodge the frog jumping up and landing on him.
"Okay, didn't see that one coming." Swampfire said. "Get off me, you over-weighted toad!" Then he blasted the frog into the air with a stream of fire. The creature was sent flying into the air, screeching in pain, before landing on its back.
Swampfire quickly got to his feet and was about to blast it again, but his amphibious nemesis surprised him again, by shooting out its tongue and managing to catch him. Before he knew it, Swampfire was pulled into its mouth.
"Aw, this so gross. When I get home, I am taking a long, long shower." He decided. Then his hands lighted up.
The mutated frog was about to jump away when its eyes widened. Steam began to leak from its mouth, and its legs began to tremble in pain. It then spat the young hero out, smoke coming out too.
"I'm done playing." Swampfire said. Then he ran forward and jumped up. He came down and planted a solid stomp to the center of its head. The force of the blow caused the frog to sink to the ground. Not wanting to let it get another chance to recover, Swampfire quickly picked off a few seeds from his arm. He then threw them below the giant frog, and soon roots sprouted and wrapped around it, immobilizing it.
"Glad that's over." Swampfire said as he let out a breath he didn't know he was holding.
Then he heard the sounds of vehicles approaching. Slamming his hand on the symbol on his chest, Swampfire changed back to Max and he ran to the zoo's exit. As he arrived at the exit, the young hero saw police, plumbers, and Rook.
The magister seemed to notice him as well, as he gestured for the boy come over.
"Rook, am I glad to see you." Max said as he approached his mentor.
However, as he saw the look on Rook's face, his cheery demeanor fell. The Revonnahganders arms were crossed and the look on his face was not pleasant.
"When we said keep a low profile, what part of that did you not understand?" He asked.
Max raised his hands in surrender. "Look, it's not my fault. My class and I were attacked by a giant mutated frog thing and I had no choice."
Rook's stern look dropped as he looked slightly afraid. "Um, correct if me I am wrong, but did you just say a giant mutated frog?"
Max nodded. "Yeah, like fifteen feet tall, ugly shade of green, six red eyes, two horns, and horrible breath." Then he noticed that Rook's expression. "Is something wrong?"
"Where is it?" Rook asked suddenly.
"Where's what?" Max asked confused.
"The mutated frog!" Rook rolled his eyes.
"Oh, it's this way." Max said as he led the way. He led Rook to where the frog was trapped. Once there, Rook's eyes widened and his jaw dropped. "Here it is, giant, green, and ugly."
"It cannot be." Rook whispered as he walked over and inspected the creature. The 'frog' was very familiar, the same horns and same red eyes. "It is not possible."
"What isn't possible?" Max asked once again confused. His confusion only grew more as Rook ignored him. The Plumber Magister's surprised look slowly turned into a hard stare and he slowly clenched and unclenched his fists. "Uh Rook, are you okay?"
Rook shook his head. "Yes, I am fine. We need to get back to HQ. Now."
"What? Why?" Max asked.
"It does not matter why. We need to go, right now." Rook said, grabbing Max's arm and dragging him away.
Xx-Welcome-to-the-Jungle-xX
As Max left the elevator with Rook and walked onto the main level of the Plumber's HQ, he saw Blake was already there. The older teen was talking with Kevin while Gwen was working on the computer.
"Hey Blake." Max called as Rook went to talk to Kevin and Gwen.
Blake turned as he heard his name and grinned. "Hey Max. How was the zoo?"
"Eh, could've been better. Except for the part where my class and I got attacked by an over weighted toad." Max shrugged his shoulders.
Blake raised an eyebrow. "Did you just say an 'over weighted toad'?"
Before Max could answer, Rook called them over. He looked at them, having finishing telling the other two what had happened at zoo. While he looked concerned, Kevin looked angry while Gwen looked worried.
"Max," Gwen started. "first things first, is what Rook said true? You saw a huge mutated frog?"
Max nodded.
"You've got to be kidding me." Kevin face-palmed. "We haven't had to deal with them in years."
Max and Blake both raised an eyebrow at that.
"Uh, haven't had to deal with who?" Blake asked.
The three grown-ups all shared a look before nodding their heads in agreement. Rook went over to the main computer and gestured for the two boys to follow. They did so and watched as he brought up a picture an elder man with wrinkly pale green skin, white hair that reached his shoulders, and yellowish eyes.
"Boys, this is Dr. Aloysius James Animo." Rook said.
"Yuck, talk about needing an extreme makeover." Max joked. He stopped at Rook's unimpressed look.
"Anyway," Kevin stepped in. "he was an insane mad scientist with delusions of grandeur and was obsessed with genetic experiments on animals. Due to his constant defeats at the hands of Tennyson and us, he became greatly unhinged."
"Despite the countless times we stopped and captured him, Animo always returned with more mutated animals." Gwen continued. "Fortunately for us, he eventually stopped his villainy and actually surrendered." Then her look turned sad as she looked away. "However, that was only after…" She trailed off, unable to finish her sentence.
"A-after what?" Blake asked curiously.
Kevin put a hand on Gwen's shoulder as Rook spoke up.
"After Ben passed away." He answered.
Blake's eyes widened and he looked back at his female magister, feeling guilty. "Sorry, Magister Gwendolyn."
"Um, not that I'm complaining or to sound rude, but what does this have to do with anything?" Max couldn't help but ask.
"Because, after Ben's sacrifice," Rook started. "there was a rapid decline in the crime rate. Many of his former enemies either retired, surrendered, or simply disappeared. As Gwen said earlier, Animo was one of those who surrendered and was locked up willingly."
"But if he willingly let himself get locked up, what happened?" Blake asked.
"As we did with all the others, we decided to give Animo a chance." Kevin picked up. "So we assigned a psychiatrist to help him." Then his look turned dark. "However, in our moment of blinded sympathy, we ended up assigning a young and naïve one."
"Kevin's right." Gwen confirmed as the boys looked back at her. "Her name was Amelia Clarkson and had just earned her degree, so she was way too new in the field. It didn't matter what we said or did, she was determined to complete her task." She rolled her eyes as she recalled the irritatingly stubborn former psychiatrist.
"So…it worked?" Max asked.
He regretted asking the second he finished his question as the three magisters looked at him like he was stupid.
"Of course it did not." Rook deadpanned. "She underestimated Animo's madness and influence. Over time Amelia started to feel bad for the scientist, and for some reason we still do not understand, decided to break him out."
"She did this by hacking our systems, shutting down our security protocols, and sneaking him out in one of our jets. We looked for weeks but were never able to find them. But as luck would have it, they returned on their own. Both with their own versions of Animo's mutating technology and an army of mutated animals." Kevin continued, deciding to finish the story. "What they didn't know, was that we were prepared so their attack was practically over before it started."
Max and Blake nodded as he finished the tale, but there was one thing that was unclear.
"What happened to Amelia after that?" Blake asked.
"After we arrested Animo again, she swore revenge and disappeared for years." Gwen answered. "Due to Max's mutant frog attack today, we can only assume that Amelia has returned. So we need you two to investigate and if she is involved, stop her." Then she handed them a paper with an address and apartment number. "This was her address before. It's not the best lead, but it's all we got."
"Wait, you want us to do it?" Max asked as Blake took the paper.
"Of course." Rook grinned. "You two have been training these last two weeks. Now it is time for some On-The-Job training."
Kevin patted each of them on the shoulder and then kindly (forcibly) led them to the elevator and helped (shoved) them in. "Rook's right. So get going and good luck." Then the door shut.
"No pressure there." Max grumbled.
Blake looked up from the paper he was given and rolled his eyes. "C'mon dude, don't worry so much. You and I can handle this." He grinned.
"That doesn't make me feel any better." Max said.
Xx-Welcome-to-the-Jungle-xX
After making it to the surface, Max took out his phone and put in the address. Then he and Blake hopped into a Proto-Truck they were given access to during their weeks of training and took off. The ride was silent for a few minutes before Blake broke it.
"So in your honest opinion, what do you think we're in for?" He asked as he glanced at his friend briefly.
"Not sure. I'm glad that we at least know something about this chick," Max's look then turned grim. "but it's not much. All we know is her name, what her job used to be, and why she went crazy. That doesn't really help."
"That may be true." Blake agreed as they stopped at a red light. "However, we do know that she does what that Animo guy did." The light then turned green and he continued driving. "So if we use what knowledge we have on him, we should be good."
"If you say so." Max said. Then he glanced at his phone again. "Take a right up ahead and we should be there."
Blake nodded and turned right. Pulling up on the side of the road, they stopped at what looked like a broken down apartment complex.
"Wow, could she have picked a more cliché hideout?" Max asked getting out of the car.
"No kidding." Blake agreed doing the same.
The building they were in front of seems to have been abandoned for years. The windows were all busted out, there were cracks throughout every surface, and trash littered everywhere.
"Don't mean to state the obvious, but it looks like no one has been here in years." Max said as they waked up to the front door. He opened it, only for it to fall off the hinges. The two walked in and started searching.
"So what room did this lady stay in?" Blake asked.
Taking the paper out of his pocket, Max read it over. "Last room on the right."
They walked down the hall until they stopped at the designated room.
"Well, here goes nothing." Blake said as he opened the door. The second he did, they instantly regretted it. The two were instantly swarmed a horrible aroma.
"Oh man, it smells like a zoo and a farm mixed together." Max groaned as he covered his nose with his arm.
"No kidding." Blake agreed doing the same. "Let's see what can we find and get out of here."
As soon as they entered, they began searching immediately. A few hours went by as they searched through cabinets, dressers, closets, and drawers. However, they were all empty. Blake started looking in the other rooms while Max looked at the bookshelves that were placed around the living room.
"Hey Max, I hate to say it, but I think this place is a dud." Blake called out from the bedroom.
Max shook his head, backing away from the bookshelf he had been looking at. "Blake, they said this is where she last stayed. This place also reeks of animals. There has to be something."
"Yeah, but so far, there's nothing. What are we supposed to be looking f- "Blake was cut off as something caught his eye. He walked over to a bookshelf Max hadn't looked at. He got down on one knee and looked at the floor. At the bottom corner of the shelf, he saw scuff marks along the floor.
"Huh, this is weird." Blake said to himself. "Hey Max, I think I found something."
His younger friend walked over and got down next to him. "Okay what?"
Blake pointed at the scuff marks. "I saw these. Their scuff marks," Then he gestured to the shelf next to them. "meaning this bookshelf must move."
Max looked at the marks and then back at the shelf, then nodded. "Okay, makes sense." Then he and Blake stood up and went to the other side.
"On the count of three, push." Blake said. Max nodded. "1…2…3!"
Then the two pushed the shelf to the side. Just as Blake suspected, it moved easily. As they bookshelf moved away, it revealed a stairway the led down to a dark basement.
"Seriously, how much more cliché can this lady get?" Blake asked rolling his eyes.
Max just shook his head. "Blake, that's really not important." Then he began down the stairway. "Now let's go."
"Geez, just trying to lighten the mood." Blake grumbled as he followed him.
They walked down silence for a while. It was only when they were near the bottom did the smell from before return. Only much, much worse.
"Oh god, I thought it smelled bad before. This stench is horrendous." Max said as covered his nose.
"No doubt." Blake agreed doing the same.
Despite the smell getting worse, they made it to the bottom. There they found a lab with loads of computers hooked to a huge machines and several televisions hanging from the ceiling connected to a giant computer at the center. As they looked around, they saw tables spread out, each with random pieces of technology. On the other side, they containment cells filled with different kinds of animals, such as a gorilla, tiger, and a dog, who all appeared to be unconscious.
"Wow, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde anyone?" Blake joked, making Max laugh a little.
"Nice reference."
"Thanks."
"Now," Max started. "let's see she's anywhere here." Blake nodded and they began to search the lab. Max decided to check out the computers while Blake checked out the tables nearby.
As Blake neared the table, his eye's widened as he saw what was on one the tables. Rushing over to it, he found a pile of very familiar empty battery packages.
"Hey Max, I found something!" He called out.
"Really, what?" Max asked as he made it over. Blake gestured to the table in front of them. Then he rolled his eyes. "So? It just bunch of empty battery packages. What's the big deal?"
Slightly annoyed at his friend's uninterested tone of voice, Blake explained. "Late last night a nearby supply store was robbed. The culprit was said to have used unusual weaponry and stole a lot of expensive supplies. Kevin, Gwen, and Rook sent me there to investigate." Then he picked up one the packages. "All the thief did was trash the place and smashed up a few boxes. When I looked at one, it had contained a new shipment of 'Polymorphic Power Batteries'." Then he showed him the label on the package.
"Okay, so we found her hideout and have confirmation she's been here recently." Max noted. "This would be the perfect moment, if it wasn't for the fact we don't know where she herself is."
"Yeah, you're right." Blake said throwing the empty package away. "So what are we supposed to do now? It's not like she's just going to show up right behind us."
No sooner after he said that, did they hear a woman's voice. "You annoying little boys. Don't you know it's illegal to break into someone's home?"
The two teens instantly turned around.
Glaring at them, was a lady who looked to be in her mid-thirties with a lab coat on, cheetah-themed gauntlets, leopard skin pants and black gator-skinned boots. She also had on a rhino themed helmet with some weird antenna in the center of it.
"You just had to say that didn't you?" Max whispered to Blake, who just shrugged.
"Uh sorry, but we thought this place was abandoned. So Dr. Amelia, I'm guessing, we'll just see our way out?" Blake tried as he and Max slowly walked to the left and right.
She didn't answer at first, only slowly walking towards them.
"Look, we don't want any trouble, Dr. Amelia. We just want to leave. If you let us leave, we promise not to say a word about any of this." Max offered, gesturing to the wacked out science lab around them.
Their hopes were crushed when she started laughing.
"Let you leave?" She laughed. "Let you just walk out of here? So you can go tell the authorities, and they can arrest me?" She grinned at them evilly. "Oh, I'm afraid I can't let you do that. You two have seen too much and must be removed."
Then she grabbed her lab coat and ripped it off, revealing more animal themed armor. She had snake-skin shoulder pads, white tiger-themed knee pads, and a black chest plate that resembled the face of a black bear. "And stop calling me Amelia, my new name is," Then claws came out her gauntlets. "Animala!"
To her annoyance, the two boys didn't look scared or frightened in the slightest.
"Wow, cool name. I admit." Blake admitted.
"Yeah, and your suits not bad either. Looks really nice." Max commented.
Animala's eye twitched. They weren't supposed to be complimenting her, they were supposed to be scared. They were supposed to be shaking in their boots, begging for mercy. Not admiring her armor or her name. None of it made sense! They were scared only moments ago. Now they're just casually talking about her? What was going on? How did these two random teenagers find her base and how did they even know her real na-.
Wait.
That's it.
They wouldn't know her name or be able to find her lab unless….
"You two are working with the Plumbers." Animala realized. The stunned and worried looks on their faces said it all. "Of course, you two wouldn't know my name unless you had help." She smirked as put it together. "The Plumbers told you two about me didn't they? Gave you my old address, and sent you here to find me?"
Blake and Max's eyes widened and they stumbled over their words before they managed to catch their cool.
"And what makes you think that? We're just kids, saw this broken down complex and got curious. Didn't mean to trespass into your," Blake said before glancing around. "lovely home."
His hopes that would work went downhill instantly as Animala looked at him with an 'Are you stupid' look.
"Do you really think I'm that stupid? I'm a former psychiatrist, did you really think I'd believe that?" She deadpanned.
Max shrugged. "I mean, it made sense. Seemed like a good excuse to me."
"Enough!" Animala snapped shaking her head. "It doesn't matter. In fact, this is perfect." She grinned.
Both boys tensed.
"And why is that?" Blake asked cautiously.
"Because, since you two are here, I have the two perfect test subjects." She smirked evilly. "You see, Animo's technology was incredibly advanced. When I joined him, he taught me everything he knew and showed me how to work his mutating equipment. Soon I learned how to make it better. Animo had to use a dial to mutate animals, but thanks to the Polymorphic Batteries I acquired" She glanced to table where the packages are. "I've advanced it to where I can do this," Then she saw spider on a wall nearby.
The antenna on her helmet started to glow and a red beam shot towards the spider. Blake and Max both stepped back in slight fear as it grew twenty times its size, spikes spreading out over the top of its body, and its legs merging into sets. It looked at them and let out a horrific screech and stared at them with hunger in its eyes.
"with just a thought." She finished with low chuckle.
"Whoa." Max breathed. "That was actually pretty incredible."
Blake stared at him incredulously. "Are you serious, Dude?!"
Max couldn't help but shrug a little. "Sorry man, I'm a science guy."
Blake groaned and face palmed. "I had to be best friends with a nerd."
Then they turned their attention back to the problem at hand.
"Impressive, isn't it?" Animala laughed as she walked up to her latest creature. "It'll be even better when I gather some more supplies for my event."
Both of the boys raised an eyebrow.
"What do you mean 'more supplies'?" Max asked.
"Oh, it doesn't concern you. But let's just say, it involves this." Then she reached into her pocket and pulled out a remote, then quickly pressed a button. The boys looked the left of the computers and saw the floor open up. Then a satellite machine rose up. "Thanks to the batteries, I will have enough power to send out a mutating beam across the whole planet."
"You're crazy if you think the Plumbers are gonna let that happen." Blake said as he and Max got ready to fight.
"Doesn't matter, their gonna pay first for betraying me." Animala then backed away from her creature, who still stared at the boys, awaiting her orders. "This has been fun boys, but I have a reunion to prepare for. Get them!" She ordered.
The spider roared as it jumped forward. Blake and Max both dived to both sides as the creature landed between them.
"Sorry to miss this, but like I said. I have places to be." Then she looked towards the container with the gorilla. The antenna started to glow and the beam shot out. It hit the gorilla, making it wake up and grow five times its size with red eyes. It then grabbed the satellite, and charged up the stairs and through the ceiling. "So long boys." Then she started up the stairs.
"Oh no you don't." Max as he ran up the stairs after her.
"Max wait!" Blake yelled as he dived to the side to dodge the spider again.
Max ignored him, and grabbed Animala's shoulder. "You're not going anywhere!"
Animala grinned under her helmet. Before Max could react, she thrusted her elbow into his stomach, causing him to drop his hand and groan in pain. Then she turned to him and punched him in the face. Max spat out some blood and threw his own punch. Animala blocked it and then swept his legs out from under him, causing Max to tumble down the stairs.
Max clenched his teeth as his body roared with pain. He glanced back up at the basement entrance and saw Animala was gone.
"Hey Max, anytime you feel like helping, I'd appreciate it!" Blake yelled out as the spider got closer and closer to striking him.
"Sorry, I just got thrown down the stairs." Max mumbled under his breath. Despite his body aching, he got to his feet and ran to help his friend.
Lifting his hand, he activated the dial on the ultimatrix. "It's hero time!" Then he slammed his hand on the dial.
He was engulfed in a green light. His body became taller and more muscular, orange and white fur covering his body, his face becoming a tiger's, a black claw coming out of each wrist, his neck, jaw, chest, stomach, hands, and his feet turned white. He also gained black stripes on his shoulders, head, legs, and upper body. His eyes also turned green. The ultimatrix symbol located on the center of his chest.
"RATH!"
Blake backed up against a wall as the spider cornered him. The spider screeched, opened its jaw, and dug in. Blake's eyes widened and he flinched, awaiting the blow.
That never came.
Instead he heard the spider screech in pain. Opening his eyes, Blake saw a tiger-like alien on top of the spider, punching it repeatedly. He was confused at first before he saw the Ultimatrix symbol on the alien's chest.
"LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING, OVERGROWN MUTATED SPIDER ORDERED TO ANNIHALATE US! NO ONE TRIES TO EAT RATH'S FRIEND UNLESS RATH SAYS SO!" Rath yelled as he continued to hit the spider.
The spider screeched as it wobbled away from Blake, trying to shake Rath off of it. With a hiss, it violently shook its head to the right, throwing Rath off and into the wall.
"Ow." Rath said as he got up. Then he looked at Blake. "YOU PLAN ON HELPING ANYTIME SOON?!"
Blake quickly nodded and raised his wrist. "HEATBLAST!" He said and he was engulfed in green light. His inner body became composed of super-hot plasma, covered by dark reddish brown volcanic rocks. His feet became slightly oval-like shaped with two toes and one black toe. His collarbone resembled a volcano, making fiery "hair" cover his head, leaving only a mask-like face. The Biomnitrix symbol on his chest.
The two aliens nodded to each other and turned to the spider. The arachnid screeched and spat out web. Rath and Heatblast dove to the side, avoiding the attack. Heatblast put his hands together and threw a fireball as Rath jumped up. The fireball made contact, making the spider screech, then Rath did an elbow drop on its head, causing it to fall slightly.
The spider growled and smacked Rath away with its front leg. It then turned to Heatblast and fired a stream of web. Heatblast saw this and countered it with beam of fire. He then ignited his fists, ran forward and started punching the spider in the face repeatedly.
Rath got up from where landed after being smacked away. He saw Heatblast punching the spider, then jumped forward, tackling him out of the way.
"What are you doing?!" Heatblast exclaimed.
"LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING HEATBLAST, RATH LIKES RUSHING IN AND PUNCHING AN ENEMY SENSELESSLY AS MUCH AS THE NEXT GUY! BUT RIGHT NOW, WE NEED A PLAN!" Rath yelled.
"Yeah, you're right." Heatblast agreed. He put a hand to his chin and pondered for a moment. Then it him. "I got it." Then he whispered his plan into Rath's ear.
Rath grinned and rubbed his hands together. "I like it."
Their attention was brought back to the matter at hand by the spider screeching. Heatblast jumped into the air, gaining the spider's attention. Once in the air, he started to flare up, the flames around him getting bigger and brighter.
"Bomb's away!" He joked.
Then he charged down, landing directly on top of the spider's back, his flames and impact inflicting pain throughout the creature, resulting in a painful screech. Gritting his teeth, Rath got close, right under the spider's head. Then he got down on one knee and pulled back a fist. With a roar, Rath jumped up and fired his fist, delivering a powerful uppercut to its jaw. The spider screeched in pain and stumbled in pain for minute before collapsing.
Both Heatblast and Rath let out a breath of relief then smacked the symbols on their chests, changing back to normal.
"Glad that's over." Max said.
"No doubt." Blake agreed getting off the spider.
They looked at the defeated arachnid before they looked to each other.
"So now what? Animala is long gone by now, and we haven't got a clue where she could be." Blake said.
Max put a hand to his chin and thought for a minute. "She said she needed to get 'more supplies'." Then he walked to the side pondering. "She also said she was gonna make the Plumbers pay. To do that she'd need an army. But where would she get an army?"
The two thought for a minute before realization hit them.
"The zoo!"
"Oh man, we gotta go! Now!" Blake said running to and up the stairs. Max nodded and quickly followed him.
They ran through the giant hole the gorilla had made earlier, out the apartment, and out the front door. They jumped into the Proto-Truck and drove off.
Xx-Welcome-to-the-Jungle-xX
A few minutes later, they made it to the zoo. Blake and Max quickly got out and went to the entrance. They were about to walk in, before Max grabbed Blake's arm and pulled him to the side.
"Dude, what's your problem?" Blake asked.
Max quickly covered his mouth with his hand and gestured for him to be 'quiet'. Then he pointed to the entrance. They quietly peeked around the corner and their eyes widened even wider.
Appears they were a little too late. Animala was at the center of the zoo, surrounded by mutated versions of almost every animal there. On her right there were the mutated feline animals, on her left there were mutated reptiles, in front of her was collection of land and some sea animals. At the center of the herd, the gorilla from before stood directly in front of Animala. In between them was the satellite, its lights already glowing.
"Yes. My machine works perfectly." Animala said. Then she pressed a few buttons on the satellite, the lights getting brighter as she did. "Now thanks to those batteries, every animal on earth will soon become my pets." Then she frowned. "But first, the Plumbers must suffer for their betrayal."
The two boys then backed up outside the entrance.
"What are we waiting for? Let's go stop her." Blake whispered trying to walk forward.
Max shook his head and blocked Blake's path with his arm. "We can't just run in. We need a plan." He lowered his arm. "How about we call for some back-up? Because right now we're a little out- "
He was cut by a low growl from the entrance.
Nervously and cautiously, they walked in front of the entrance again.
A huge mutated lion, its regular skin color mixed with red and black, claws extended even longer, glared at them. Before they could react, some more mutated animals surrounded them on all sides, trapping them.
"So much for calling for back-up." Blake muttered.
The animals split in half as Animala walked forward, hands behind her back, her helmet retracting, showing her face.
"I'm surprised to see you two again. I thought my spider would've finished you." She said shrugging. "Oh well." Then she grinned at them evilly. "Seriously though, you two must have no common sense. First you blindly enter my lab and you barely made it out. Now, you dare follow me here." She gestured to her army and area around them. "Did you really think you sneak up on me? When I have these animals with me?" She petted the lion that spotted them.
"But I admit, your bravery is admirable. Unfortunately, your bravery is annoying." Animala glared. "Honestly, what are you two hoping to accomplish?"
Swallowing the lump in his throat, Max shook off his nervousness and responded. "What we hope, no are, going to accomplish is stopping your machine, stopping you, and bringing you in." He stood up straight and put on a brave face for emphasis.
Only to be met with uncontrollable laughter from Animala and Blake.
"I'm sorry dude, but *laugh* coming from you *laugh*, it doesn't sound that threatening." Blake managed to say.
Which caused Max to glare and smack him in the shoulder. Hard.
"Ow." Blake groaned as he rubbed his shoulder. "Alright, alright I'm sorry."
Max just shook his head and looked at Animala, who was still laughing a lot.
"Okay, okay I needed that." She said as she calmed down. After a moment, she collected herself. "That was funny though, good joke."
"He wasn't joking." Blake said, deciding to step in.
"Oh really?" Animala smirked. "And how exactly do you two plan to 'stop me'?" She laughed again.
Max and Blake glanced at each other, nodded, then raised their wrists. Showing the Ultimatrix and Biomnitrix. Animala instantly stopped laughing and this time, her eyes widened.
"Like this." Max said. Then he slammed his hand on the dial. He was engulfed in green light and transformed. "RATH!" He yelled.
Blake raised his wrist to his mouth. "HUMUNGOUSAUR!" He yelled getting engulfed in green light. He grew about twelve feet tall and turned into a large dinosaur humanoid on two legs with a tail. His skin was harder, the outer side colored brown, and the inner side colored beige.
Both aliens clenched their fists and got ready to fight.
Animala glared, fists clenching, her body shaking with anger. "That's not possible." She said. Then she pointed at them. "Those were Tennyson's! How is this possible?!"
Humungousaur just shrugged. "That's for us to know, and for you to never find out."
Rath shook his head. "ENOUGH TALKING! LET'S GET BUSY!" Then he jumped forward, intending to land on her. His plan failed as the Mutated Gorilla from before jumped up from behind Animala and tackled Rath, sending them rolling on the ground away.
"Destroy them!" Animala ordered. All the animals roared and stampeded forward.
Xx-Welcome-to-the-Jungle-xX
"LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING, GIANT DISGUSTING GORILLA!" Rath yelled as he and the gorilla stopped rolling and grappled each other. "NOBODY TACKELS RATH WHEN RATH ISN'T LOOKING!"
The gorilla roared and picked Rath up, then threw him through into the air. Rath ended crashing through a cage and landing in an exhibit. Rath quickly looked and saw the gorilla break through the rest of the cage and land in front of him.
Rath grinned. "ALRIGHT GORILLA, YOU WANT TO PLAY ROUGH, WELL RATH CAN PLAY ROUGH TOO! IN FACT, RATH CAN PLAY ROUGHER THAN ANYONE! LET ME SHOW YOU!" With that, Rath ran forward.
The gorilla roared and charged Rath, attempting tackle him again. Rath saw this coming however jumped up.
"My turn." He grinned. "SHEER COSMIC DROP!" Then he came down and slammed the bottom of both his fists on top of the gorilla's head. The gorilla was forced down onto its hands and feet as it shook its head in pain. Rath back flipped away, then ran forward again. "INCURSEAN AMBASSADOR!" Then he delivered a powerful uppercut, knocking the gorilla out cold.
"Oh yeah, that's what happens when you mess with Rath!" Rath boasted as the gorilla fell over unconscious. Then he heard a chorus of growls behind him. He turned around and a bunch of mutated feline animals, including lions, tigers (ironically), jaguars, cheetahs, and leopards. There were also a few more mutated primates, such as orangutans, regular monkeys, and some baboons.
Rath blinked, then grinned and rubbed his hands together. "Oh yeah. This is more like it." With a roar, he charged in and the animals did the same.
Xx-Welcome-to-the-Jungle-xX
While Rath was busy with the gorilla, Humungousaur was attacked by a huge Mutated Alligator. The now massive reptile stomped forward, chomping at his direction. Managing to get by the massive teeth, Humungousaur slammed his hands on the top and bottom of the alligator's mouth, shutting it close.
"That's enough of the that." He said. Then he crushed the alligator's head into the ground, knocking it out cold. "Sorry, but I'm nobodies chew toy."
Humungousaur then heard a growl and turned around quickly, barely managing to dodge a strike from a huge mutated bear. He backed away and raised his arms in front of his face, blocking the bear's scratches. Luckily for him, his durability helped stop the bear from doing any real damage.
This kept up until Humungousaur was backed into a cage. The dinosaur alien frowned, dropped his arms, and grabbed the bear's paws before it could scratch him again. The bear roared, but Humungousaur roared louder, then lifted it up and threw it threw cage behind him. The bear landed on the ground with a huge thud.
"Huh, this isn't so bad." Humungousaur said. He immediately regretted those words as he was head-butted in the back by an elephant, sending him through the cage and out the other side, into a lamppost.
"I've really got to learn to keep my mouth shut." He said getting up and turning around.
He saw the elephant charging at him again. Humungousaur decided to charge as well, intending on knocking it out by ramming it head on.
However, as he got closer, he was head-butted from the side, sending him face down in the ground.
"Oh great. Now what?" Humungousaur mumbled. He got up again and saw a mutated rhino after him now. "Alright then, you wanna go now? Let's do it." The rhino snorted and charged, as did the elephant.
Humungousaur roared and them head on. They collided, resulting in a battle of pure strength. Humungousaur gritted his teeth as the rhino and elephants combined strength began to push him back. He closed his eyes and gritted his teeth harder, then stomped his feet in the ground, preventing him from moving.
Then he began to grow. Stegosauride like plates grew on his back, a crest grew on his forehead, and spikes grew on his tail. As he grew, he could feel his strength increase as well. The rhino and elephant were thrown back as Humungousaur kept growing to the point he towered over them, but quickly got back on their feet.
"No more holding back." Humungousaur roared.
With a loud and mighty roar, he ran forward and punched the rhino hard, sending it skidding across the ground. When it stopped, it's feet collapsed from under it and it fell to the ground unconscious. Humungousaur then jumped up, then slammed down on top of the elephant, creating a massive crater and knocking it out cold.
With his two foes down, Humungousaur shrunk back down to his normal size and climbed out the crater he made. He then grinned at Animala.
"That the best you got?" He taunted.
"Of course not." She grinned. Then she pressed a button on her remote. Her satellite powered on, sending out signal across the rest of the zoo and over town. Animals around the outside of the zoo mutated, such as squirrels and birds, and came towards them. Before Humungousaur could react to them, he heard splashing from a nearby exhibit.
Turning to the source, he saw a massive mutated hippopotamus rise from the water and break cage around its exhibit. The hippo was five times its size, nearly the same size as Humungousaur. It had burning patterns blue and light purple patterns all over, looking like a hippo from hell.
"Oh man." Humungousaur groaned as the hippo and birds tackled him.
Xx-Welcome-to-the-Jungle-xX
Normally, in most situations, Rath loved a good fight. Fighting so many enemies at once made his blood boil with excitement. He couldn't help it. His species loved to fight. It was obvious. However, this time was different.
"What's going on here?" Rath asked out loud. He then jumped to the side, dodging another monkey. Then he punched it away. "Every time I knock them down, they get right back up."
"I can answer that for you." Animala grinned.
Rath looked at her and frowned.
"It's all thanks to my satellite." She gestured to her machine. "Level one merely mutated them and increased their abilities. Now that I turned up the power, it will provide my pets with near unlimited energy and stamina." Rath attempted to tackle her, but a massive snake wrapped around him. Animala walked forward and looked him eyes grinning widely. "Meaning they will get tired and will keep attacking until you have no strength left."
"We'll see about that." Rath growled. Then he started squirming, trying to pull his arms free. The snake felt this and started constricting, Rath gritted his teeth as he continued to try and get his arms free, despite the snake's grip getting tighter and tighter.
"Hahahaha! Look at you struggle!" Animala laughed causing Rath to glare at her again. "You trying to break free and fighting back even though it's pointless! Quite pathetic really!"
Rath instantly stopped his struggle, his glare deepening, his jaw tightening. "What?"
Animala kept laughing as she shook her head. "Wow, I knew that species was dense but not this bad." She purposely ignored the low menacing growl. "I guess I'll dumb it down a bit, just so you can understand." She stood on her tiptoes and looked Rath in the eye. "Rath, not, strong, enough."
She turned and walked away, noticing the way Rath froze.
Rath's glare dissipated as he processed her words. His fists clenched and unclenched, and he took a deep breath then he let it out.
"If Rath isn't strong enough for you," Then he roared loudly and in a huge burst of strength, broke free of the snake. Animala quickly turned back to him, eyes wide, as the snake slithered back to her side. "Then let's see how strong you think is!"
Then Rath twisted the dial on his chest, engulfing him in bright green light again. He grew taller, with green stripes and green markings around his eyes and a Wolverine-like haircut. His skin is still white and he now has three clawed fingers, as well as two claws on each wrist and one on each elbow. He now wore green spiked wristbands and ankle bands, black pants with a white belt and a green Kraven the Hunter inspired jacket complete with eyes, bones, black fur around the neck with three green spikes in them. The Ultimatrix symbol still on his chest.
"ULTIMATE RATH!" Ultimate Rath yelled. Then he grinned at her with a feral grin. "How you like me now?!"
Animala's legs started shaking as he looked at her grinning. She gulped and started to back away in fear.
"Aw, what's wrong?" Ultimate Rath taunted as he slowly walked towards her. "You were just mocking me a second ago, where'd that tough girl attitude go?"
He was about to charge her when he Humungousaur cry out in pain. Turning to his right, Ult. Rath saw the hippo from before biting down on Humungousaur's right arm hard. This had his friend pinned down as the mutated birds swooped in and scratched him.
"Oh hell no." Ult. Rath muttered. With a louder and more ferocious roar than before, Ult. Rath ran forward on all fours. He jumped up and landed on the hippo's back, his claws piercing its skin.
The hippo spat Humungousaur's arm out and roared in pain. The roar echoed through the air, sending the mutated birds flying away. Ult. Rath then jumped up of the hippo's back and landed in front of Humungousaur.
"You okay?" He asked.
Humungousaur got up, ignoring the pain in his right arm, and looked at Ult. Rath and grinned. "I am now." He took in his friend's new appearance. "Whoa, you look awesome."
"Yeah, I know. Thanks." Ult. Rath thanked. Then he saw Animala and the animals he was fighting earlier approach them. "Hey, you know how they said you could fuse your aliens?"
"Yeah?" Humungousaur asked confused.
"I think you should try it out, we're gonna need more power to take these freaks down." Ult. Rath said.
Humungousaur nodded and touched the dial on his chest, changing him back to Blake. Blake then raised both of his and slammed across each other. "HUMUNGOUBLAST!" His body changed into Humungousaur's, but instead of the usual brown and beige colored skin, his skin now like Heatblast's.
The now burning Humungoublast looked at himself and grinned. "Whoa! This feels amazing!"
Animala took in a deep breath and somehow managed to regain her cool. "So you two changed appearances? Big deal." She gestured to her army. "You still don't have a chance against my army. Get them!"
Once again the animals roared and charged, Humungoublast and Ult. Rath, feeling energized due to their new powers, grinned and met them head on.
Xx-Welcome-to-the-Jungle-xX
Ult. Rath grinned as he effortlessly threw the monkeys and reptiles from before around like ragdolls. The strength of his new form felt incredible, allowing him to knock out his foes for good this time. He was also much more agile, as he easily dodged and avoided every attack.
"Hahaha! You mutated freaks can't stop me now!" Ult. Rath taunted.
He jumped backwards and grabbed one the monkey's tail and slung it around, launching it through another cage. He then jumped up and collided with another mutated frog head on, knocking it out.
"C'mon!" Ult. Rath laughed as he landed on his feet and the frog landed on its back. "Is that all you got?"
He then heard growls from behind him. He turned and saw every mutated feline animal from the zoo there, each one ready to pounce. Ult. Rath growled and got ready to pounce himself. However, a very low sound erupted from him, and his eyes and the eyes on his jacket started glowing. Before Ult. Rath could begin to comprehend it, he noticed all the felines had dropped their stance, their eyes glowing the same color as his and the ones on his cloak. They then approached him and kneeled down in front of him.
"Whoa, I can control cats?" Ult. Rath asked himself. Then he grinned and jumped in excitement. "Sweet! I got my own army now!" He stopped as he heard the sound of loud chitters approaching. He turned and saw the many mutated squirrels from before rushing towards him.
"Oh no, the poor kitty is all by himself again." Animala's voice rang out from behind him. Ult. Rath quickly faced her, and the snake from before, and frowned. "Looks like your outnumbered, hero." She smirked.
Ult. Rath then grinned. "I don't think so. Take a look." pointed to the other cats around. Animala looked and gasped as each of her mutated felines now glared and growled at her.
"They serve me now." He smirked.
Animala growled and then pointed at him. "Get him!"
Then the squirrels squealed and rush forward again.
"Two can play that game! Attack!" Ult. Rath ordered. Then the felines charged and met the squirrels head on. "Now it's just you and me!"
"Not quite." Animala retorted. Then she snapped her fingers and the snake beside her went in.
"Oh please." Ult. Rath scoffed as he back flipped away to avoid the snake's attack. Then ran forward and uppercutted the snake. He smirked at Animala who cowered in fear as the snake fell unconscious. "Any more surprises?"
Animala growled and ran forward and launched her own attack, throwing punches and kicks. Ult. Rath grunted as he was forced to block all of her attacks.
Xx-Welcome-to-the-Jungle-xX
A loud chirp rang out as one of the mutated birds fell to the ground, burned from a fire ball.
"Ha-ha, two points." Humungoublast laughed as smoke came off his hand. He then ran forward head-butted all the rest of the birds, crushing some and the others flying in the air.
He got up and put his hands together, making another fireball, then threw it at one of the birds in the sky. It hit and the bird fell down. The rest screeched and swooped in, striking Humungoublast all over.
"Ow!" Humungoublast groaned. Then he grabbed one of the birds as it swooped by and slammed it on the ground. He then turned, breathed in and then breathed out, firing a massive flamethrower. It hit a few, scorching them and bringing them down.
The rest screeched again, and started flying away.
"Not this time!" Humungoublast said. Then he grew giant again, ignited his fists, and swatted each of the remaining birds away.
As he shrunk back to his normal size, Humungoublast grinned as clenched his fists.
"I could get used to this." He stated. He heard a loud noise and turned to his left, seeing the hippo approach him. "Oh yeah, almost forgot about you."
The hippo roared and charged, its jaw wide opened. Humungoublast charged to, but this time he ignited his hands and fired a blast of fire into its mouth. The hippo stopped in its tracks and started gagging in pain as smoke left its mouth. Humungoublast wasn't done. He kept charging and once he was close enough, his fist ignited again and started rapidly punching the hippo over and over. The hippo managed to shake off the pain and bit down onto Humungoublast's arm again.
"OW!" He roared in pain again. "Why you overgrown fat tub of shit!" Humungoublast gritted his teeth and the flames on his body ignited brighter, the flames getting bigger.
The hippo spat out his arm as smoke poured out of it mouth, causing it to cry out in pain louder than before.
Humungoublast rubbed his arm then glared at his enemy. "You'll pay for that!" He ran forward and jumped up, his entire body erupting into one giant fireball. As he came down, he slammed his fists onto the hippo's head, his flames exploding over its body. Humungoublast panted as his vision was clouded with smoke. Once it cleared, he saw the hippo out cold on the ground, its body burned and smoking.
"Glad that's over." Humungoublast panted.
Then he turned to the satellite and ran to it.
"Time to end this game." Humungoublast said. Then he grabbed the machine and threw it in the air. He breathed in and breathed out another flamethrower. The blast of fire blasted through it, burning the batteries in it, causing it to overheat. A few seconds later it blew up, pieces raining over the zoo and the animals returning to normal.
"NNNNOOOOO!" Animala yelled out as she and Ult. Rath watched.
Humungoublast smirked and looked at her. "Game's over freak. Give up."
Animala's body shook with rage till all she saw was red. "Never!" She ran towards him.
Ult. Rath shook his head and picked up a big rock then threw it the back of head. The rock collided and knocked her out on impact. She fell on her face at Humungoublast's feet.
"Now it's over." Ult. Rath stated as he and Humungoublast took a breath.
Xx-Welcome-to-the-Jungle-xX
A few hours later, the Plumbers arrived. Blake and Max, both who had changed back to normal, had their injuries they sustained bandaged up and were currently talking about what happened with Kevin and Gwen while Rook helped some of the Plumbers clean up the area.
"So let me get this straight. You two broke into her lair, instigated a scuffle. Then, against our direct orders, decided to follow her here without our permission, didn't call for back-up, and attacked her and her army without an actual plan. Then you ended up defeating her army, destroying her machine, and finally defeated her. All on your own. Is that what you're telling us?" Kevin asked, listing off everything the two teens had done all afternoon and evening.
"Yeah, pretty much." Blake shrugged.
Gwen and Kevin glowered at the two of them for a while. Eventually the silence started to annoy Max but Kevin spoke again before he could get a word in.
"Nice job." He commented.
Both Max and Blake's jaws dropped in shock.
"Wh-what?" Max stuttered confused.
"He said good job." Gwen said smiling. "While it was reckless going after on your own, you two stopped her plan and her herself." Then glanced around at the destroyed zoo. "There is a bit more collateral damage for our tastes, but not every mission goes perfect." She looked back at them. "It's what you do at the point that matters."
Blake and Max grinned and fist bumped.
"Yes!"
The quartet turned as they heard Animala try to resist getting put in the back of a Plumber's truck.
Animala stopped struggling as she saw the boys watching her and glared at them in pure hatred.
"Mark my word you two. You will suffer for this. I promise you will pay." She promised as she was thrown into the back of the truck.
"Yeah, yeah." Max waved it off with a roll of his eyes.
Two Plumbers shut the back doors, entered the truck, and drove off as Rook approach the group.
"I believe we were right." He said getting their attention. He grinned at Blake and Max. "This might just work."
The two teens smiled as the three magisters grinned at them proudly.
Xx-Welcome-to-the-Jungle-xX
However, unbeknownst to any of them, a small camera like drone was watching the whole time and recorded everything.
As the five left, it shut off its recorder then flew into space.
It arrived in a ship where one figure in a cloak was waiting.
The robot landed in their hand then they walked over to a console. They connected the robot to a port on the computer. The computer started beeping then played projection of the fight.
The figure watched it and grinned when the boys used the Ultimatrix and Biomnitrix.
"So, they found two new recruits to use the watches." The figure spoke with a feminine like voice. "This could be interesting."
Whoa, that was a long chapter. Again I'm sorry for the long update. I'll try and update as quick as I can. Please leave a review and tell me what you think my first OC villain. I hope you enjoyed, please share my story around and I'll see you later. Bye.
