Hermione's POV:

I woke up with strong arms wrapped around me and my head rested on the chest the arms are attached to. I opened my eyes and found Sam looking at me.

"Morning." I greeted.

"Morning." He returned.

"Is Charlie gonna kill us because you stayed?" I wondered.

"No, you wanted me to stay and because you wouldn't let go of me, Bella went and asked, and he said it was ok." He answered.

"Good." I mumbled, cuddling closer to his chest. " Because I don't want my boyfriend banned from entering the house until I get my own."

"We wouldn't want that." Sam agreed.

"That was fast." A female voice said.

Sam and I turned our attention towards the door and found Bella standing there.

"What was fast Bells?" Charlie asked as he walked up the stairs.

"The fact that Hermione already has a boyfriend." She answered.

"Hermione?" He questioned me.

"Yes?" I replied.

"Is Bella right?" He returned.

"Maybe." I squeaked.

He looked at me with his police chief face and for once I broke under the weight of it.

"Fine, she's telling the truth." I caved.

"I'm guessing this is him." Charlie stated.

"Yes." I commented. "Now can you leave?"

"Yes ma'am." They responded.

They both left the doorway but not before giving us one last look and descending the stairs.

"Well, considering I'm in your bed, half naked and your laying on top of me, that went really well." Sam shared.

"They both know about me and that if I get angry it's not pretty." I informed him.

"Why is it not pretty?" He wondered.

"I hope you never find out." I replied.

"We should probably get up." He murmured.

"Yeah we should." I agreed.

I pushed myself off of Sam, climbed out of bed and walked over to my wardrobe. I felt arms circle around my waist and knew my boyfriend was out of bed as well. I leaned back into his as I looked through my draws, looking for something nice to wear.

"What are you doing today?" Sam questioned.

"I was thinking about looking for a house, why?" I responded.

"Maybe I can help." He stated.

"I'd like that." I commented.

"And maybe later I can take you out on a date." He said.

"I like that idea too." I breathed.

"I'm gonna go home and get changed, I'll be back in and hour." He informed me.

"Alright." I replied.

I turned around in his arms and brought his face down to my level and placed a kiss on his lips. Just when I was pulling away, he took a chance and deepened it. When air became needed I pulled away and looked into his eyes and a wide smile enveloped my face.

"I'll see you soon." I whispered.

"Be ready in an hour." He murmured.

"I will be." I confirmed.

When his arms left my waist and I instantly felt cold. I watched him leave my room with the same goofy smile on his face as last night and it warmed my heart to know that I'm the reason behind it.

I decided on wearing a nice light blue summer dress that compliments my skin tone. After I pulled my hair into a half up half down style with a bun and finished my light makeup, I headed down stairs to face my uncle and cousin.

"So Sam?" Bella questioned as soon as I was in the kitchen.

"Yes Sam." I answered.

"You have been here less than a day and you already have a boyfriend." She stated.

"It's not like I planned it. I went to the bonfire just wanting to see everyone and something happened when I looked into his eyes. I felt like I was home after being away for so long." I told her.

"Aww." She breathed. "That is so sweet."

"He's helping me look for a house today and later we are going out on a date." I shared.

"Why are you already looking for a house?" Bella wondered.

"Yeah you just got here, and you know you're welcome to stay in the house as long as you want. You don't have to buy a place right now." Charlie added.

"I know I don't have to get a house right now, but the buying process takes forever, and I thought I would get started." I said.

"Alright." Bella muttered.

"Now about Sam." Charlie started.

"What about him?" I inquired.

"While your living here if he comes over, the doors stay open, no overnight stays without permission and certainly no monkey business." He informed me.

"You have my word Charlie." I replied.

"Good. Now Bella cooked bacon and eggs for breakfast, so help yourself." He stated.

True to his word, Sam arrived an hour later to take me house shopping. We looked at all the available houses in Forks but none of the were right. Some were too small or in need of a major rebuild.

"There is no decent house up for sale in Forks." I complained.

"You could always look at the reservation, there are some houses up for sale. They may need some work, but they are in better condition compared to some of the ones we've seen here." Sam advised.

"It would be nice to live on the rez, it was always my favourite place to be when I visited." I contemplated. "Okay, let's go."

"Your adorable, you know that?" He wondered.

"I have been told on many occasions and I also think that myself." I responded.

We drove for twenty minutes before reaching the first house in La Push that was up for sale. Even just sitting in the car I could already tell that it wasn't right. I just shook my head, signalling for Sam to drive to the next one. The same happened for the next few houses.

"There's one more house." Sam informed me.

"Alright." I sighed.

I had lost hope for the last house because if I didn't get out of the car for the others, I don't think I will for this one either. We pulled up at the last house and for once I loved being proved wrong. It was a two-story house situated near the forest and just off the beach. It was the perfect size, not too big and not too small. It had a porch with a swing seat out the front and white door.

"I want to go inside." I declared.

"Well than, you're lucky I called Billy and got his permission to go inside the houses on the rez that are up for sale." He told me.

"I love you so much." I stated.

"I love you too." He returned.

I pressed a quick kiss to his lips before jumping out of the car and walking towards the house. I heard Sam laughing at how excited I was and found myself laughing with him. When he finally reached the door, he lifted the welcome mat up and pulled out the key. Once the door was unlocked he let me go through before putting the key back.

On the ground floor the entry was painted a pale grey colour with a shoe and coat rack by the door. It lead into a decent sized living room in the same pale grey colour. Off the living room was the dining room and from there the kitchen. There was also a small study and a half bathroom.

The second floor consisted of four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The master bedroom included a walk-in closet and an en suite. It also had a small library, which is one of my favourite rooms in the whole house.

"This place is perfect! It's close to the beach, has plenty of bedrooms for when my friends visit and a library!" I exclaimed.

"So you like it?" Sam questioned.

"I know that's sarcastic, but I really do like it." I replied.

"I had a feeling you'd like this one, that's why we went to it last." He told me.

"Who do I talk to about buying this place?" I wondered.

"You can talk to Billy, and he will talk to the owners." He answered.

"To Billy's house than." I stated.

Sam and I walked out of the house, making sure to lock the door, got into his car and drove over to the Black residence. When we arrived I basically ran to the door and knocked. When it opened, I saw Jacob in the doorway.

"Hey Hermione, hey Sam." He greeted.

"Hey Jake, is Billy home?" I asked.

"Yeah he is in the lounge room, come in." He responded, stepping out of the way so we could walk in. We went through the small entry to where Jake said Billy would be.

"Hey Billy." I said.

"Hi Hermione, Sam." He returned. "What can I do for you?"

"How much is the house near the beach, just off the forest?" I inquired.

"The owners said to make an offer and they will either say yes or no." Billy replied.

"Okay, I'd like to make an offer than." I declared.

"Alright, if you write it down I will call the owners and I will ask them." He commented.

Jacob handed me a piece of paper and a pen so I could write down my offer. I put down a big number and folded it in half, before handing it to Billy. He unfolded the slip of paper and his jaw dropped.

"I don't think they are going to say no to your offer." He stated.

"How much did you write down?" Sam questioned.

"Don't worry about it." I dismissed.

"I will call them and get back to you with an answer soon." Billy told me.

"Thank you." I responded.

"So, what are your plans for the rest of the day?" Jake wondered.

"We're going on a date later but other than that nothing really." Sam answered.

"The guys and I were gonna run around the forest for a little while if you want to join." Jake shared.

"That sounds like fun." I remarked.

"We'd be running around as wolves." Jake commented.

"I know." I said, a sly smile spreading across my face.

"Oh no, what does that smile mean?" Sam worried.

"I have a trick up my sleeve that most witch's and wizards can't do but I can." I hinted.

"And what might that be?" He quizzed.

"You'll find out soon enough." I drawled.

"Why am I suddenly scared?" Jacob queried.

I didn't say anything in response, instead I continued to smile slyly.

Sam's POV:

"We're meeting here before we head into the forest." Jacob told Hermione and me. "They should be here in a minuet."

"Maybe we wait outside than." Mione suggested.

"Okay." Jake shrugged.

The three of us walked outside the house to wait for the others and we didn't even need to wait. Once we crossed the threshold I saw the Paul and the others walking our way.

"Don't we have perfect timing." I commented.

"Didn't think we'd see you two today. Thought you would be too wrapped up in your love sick state to think about anyone but each other." Jared remarked.

"And let you have all the fun? No bloody way." Hermione returned. "And besides, I have something cool to show you all."

"What is it?" Embry wondered.

He got the same response Jake, and I did, a sly smile that's slightly terrifying.

"That is a terrifying look." Quil stated.

"We got the same one when we asked." I told him.

"Not even you know?" Paul wondered. I shook my head at him.

"It must be good then." Jared declared.

"Since everyone is now here why don't I show you?" Mione asked.

"Please do!" We all exclaimed.

"Okay, let's go into the forest." She said.

The boys and I followed her towards the woods, all eager to find out what she was going to show us. When we reached the edge she turned to us and told us to stay where we were. We instantly stopped in our tracks feeling the need to obey her order. Hermione walked into the forest and a minuet later a black wolf came out.

"You're a shape shifter as well." I commented.

The wolf, that we now knew was my girlfriend, nodded it head. She looked around for some reason and when she turned back to us she winked. One second Mione was a wolf, the next she was human again and was still wearing her clothes.

"How do you still have your clothes on?" Jake questioned.

"Don't you guys keep your clothes on?" Hermione returned.

"No, we have to take them off otherwise they shred." I informed her.

"So, when you turn human again, your starkers?" She inquired.

"Yeah, it sucks." Embry stated.

"I'll see if I can find a way to fix that." She told us.

"You can do that?" Quil wondered.

"I'm a witch." She remarked.

"Right." He muttered.

"Are we going running in the forest or not?" Paul asked.

"Yes we are." I responded.

"Than let's go." Jared said.

The boys took off running but I stopped Hermione before she could follow them. I pulled her close to me and pressed our lips together. We kissed until oxygen became needed and when we broke apart we smiled at each other. I pressed another kiss to her lips before winking and running after the others.

"Your lucky I love you!" Mione shouted before running after me.
