NaruSaku Birthdays: Part 2 – Hanami

The Sun started to slowly rise over Konohagakure no Sato.

Within the village was a very nice home that belonged to none other than the Hokage of Konohagakure, Naruto Uzumaki, and his wife, Sakura Uzumaki née. Haruno.

Today was a special day. It's Hanami's birthday.

Right now, the sole daughter of the Uzumaki household was sleeping peacefully in her bed. The moment the sunlight sneaked through her window and radiated upon her face, her eyes snapped open as she then chuckled with a huge Uzumaki grin, before leaping out of bed with a cheer.

"Kage Bunshin no Jutsu!" Hanami exclaimed as several clones appeared beside her.

They all grabbed nearby cans of pink and orange paint and ran out of her room in her sleeveless red nightgown, cackling as they ran around the halls, painting the walls with curvy lines of pink and orange. They also painted cherry blossoms and orange spirals on the walls.

Shinachiku opened his eyes as he immediately put his hand on his head, only to feel dry hair.

"Huh… that's odd." Shinachiku said as he got out of bed, revealing his pajama of a green tank top with his clan's symbol (the Uzumaki insignia with the Haruno ring around it) on the back and black pants, and then headed to his door. "Normally I wake up with Hanami already done coloring my hair into an art project." He said as he walked out the door, only for his shirt to suddenly get painted with a pink line courtesy of Hanami stilling running down the halls with her paintbrush. "What the?!" Shinachiku's eyes went from his shirt to the halls to see his sister painted pink and orange lines and cherry blossoms and orange spirals all throughout it. "Hanami!" Shinachiku shouted with annoyance.

Within their room, Naruto and Sakura heard their eldest cry out their only daughter's name with annoyance.

"Sounds like she's not wasting any time, as usual." Naruto said with a small smile.

"It's way too early for this." Sakura said with a tired frown and gently pressing her fingertips against her forehead.

"You want me to scout ahead?" Naruto asked his wife.

"No. Whatever she has planned, I'd rather just go straight into it and get it over with. Like quickly ripping off a band-aid. One that stings for a good while." Sakura said as she got up out of bed and headed for the door. The minute she opened it she was introduced to the halls now colored in pink and orange lines of varying designs along with paintings of cherry blossoms and orange spirals. Sakura's eyes were wide and her mouth agape, shocked at the sight. "HANAMI!" Sakura screamed out her daughter's name with great agitation.

"Wow. She's really excited today." Naruto said, looking at the halls from behind Sakura.

"Damn you and your annoyingly powerful genes, Naruto!" Sakura exclaimed, pointing accusingly to her surprised and confused husband.

Hanami was already downstairs, cooking something up in the kitchen to start off the day.

"Time to make that cake I wanted! And no censorship from any other people, dattebara!" Hanami proclaimed as she quickly got to work.

Humming a tune and coming into the living/dining room was none other than Tsunade, who had been staying with the family since Sakura's birthday almost a whole week ago.

Tsunade was dressed in a green kimono shirt with black lining, white pants and a pair of white slippers with three blue streaks along them, similar in design to her main summon Katsuyu.

Tsunade yawned and stretched her arms before heading towards the dinner table as she scratched her lower back.

"Need breakfast." Tsunade mumbled to herself as she sat down at the table where Naruto usually sat. She heard rummaging within the kitchen making her look over to see Hanami running around the kitchen gathering stuff. "Morning Hanami-chan." Tsunade greeted the young pink haired girl.

"Morning, O bāchan!" Hanami greeted her grandmother figure with a bright smile. "I'm cooking something great right now! Just you wait!" Hanami said with a big grin as she was stirring batter within a mixing bowl.

"I'll try, but it sounds exciting." Tsunade said with a smirk, amusing her granddaughter figure. "Say sweetie, do you mind getting your bāchan something to drink?" Tsunade asked.

"Tea or the good stuff?" Hanami asked as she reappeared with a bag of tea in one hand and a bottle of sake in the other.

"I'll just take tea this time… with a little bit of flavor if you don't mind." Tsunade said with a smile.

"Gotcha!" Hanami said with a grin as she popped open the cork of the sake and rushed back to serve her grandmother her beverage.

Tsunade smiled, happy to have such a nice granddaughter like her.

"Morning, Tsunade-O bāchan!" Naruto greeted the woman with a bright smile while his wife stood beside him, rubbing the temples of her head with her index and middle fingers.

"After all these years you stick to calling me that. Can't you show some respect to your predecessor, Ho-ka-ge-sama?" Tsunade said with an annoyed frown. "What's with Sakura?"

"Have you seen what Hanami did to the walls in our house?" Sakura asked, still rubbing her temples.

"Not really. I don't wake up fully without my morning drink." Tsunade said.

"Morning." Shinachiku greeted his family with a frown.

"Nice new design to your shirt, Shina-chan." Naruto said with a smile, pointing to the pink line on his son's shirt.

"Not funny, tou-chan." Shinachiku said to his dad with a dull expression.

"Morning, everyone. Why are the walls painted pink and orange?" Arashi asked as he walked into the room in his yellow and blue jammies and holding a slug plushie that looked like Katsuyu in his arms. "Morning, O bāchan." Arashi greeted his grandmother.

"Morning, my little Ichigo no Shōnen (Strawberry Boy)." Tsunade greeted the youngest of the clan, making him pout at that nickname he was cursed with. All because he loves strawberries and sweet things.

"Here you go, O bāchan!" Hanami said as she placed a cup of tea along with a tea pot in front of her.

"Thank you, Hanami-chan." Tsunade thanked the young pinkette.

"Hanami!" Shinachiku shouted her name as he hurried over, but she ran back into the kitchen. "What is she doing in there?" Shinachiku asked the older blonde beside him.

"Cooking something great, she said." Tsunade answered with a smile.

"What is she cooking?" Shinachiku and Sakura asked, not liking what Hanami was planning.

"I'm making that cake I wanted to make on kaa-chan's birthday! I'm almost done too, dattebara!" Hanami called back with a bright smile, causing her brothers and father to flinch with wide eyes and worried frowns.

"Uh oh." Naruto said now feeling a pit at the bottom of his stomach.

"Hanami… Hanami, wait!" Shinachiku quickly ran into the kitchen. "Don't Use the Gunpowder!" Shinachiku shouted before an explosion of smoke came out of their kitchen.

Sakura and Naruto stared at the large smoke with wide anime eyes and worried frowns, while Arashi had a dull expression.

Tsunade just sipped her tea, blissfully enjoying her tea, letting the two siblings work things out.

"Mm~. Your daughter knows how to make some splendid tea. That I can say for sure." Tsunade said with a bright smile.

.

.

After some assistance with the fire extinguisher, Hanami was able to finish the cake she originally wanted to make for her mother's birthday.

"Ta-dah!" Hanami placed the large cake onto the center of the table. It was a double decker pink cake with orange icing covered in large candles that looked more like flares blazing with sparks of fire, sticks with plastic heads of frogs attached to the ends, a toy fox in the middle standing in the center of their clan's insignia with pictures of frog faces around sticking their tongues out along with little toy maneki-nekos scattered around as well, along with colored gummi slugs, and it was served on a platter that had a small toy train going around the cake on small round train tracks. "I introduce my cake! Uncensored!" Hanami proclaimed with pride and a big ol' Uzumaki grin.

"Is that even a cake anymore?" Sakura asked.

"It looks more like a toy palace." Arashi pointed out.

"Yeah, I expected as much." Shinachiku said with a frown and his arms crossed as his face, arms and shirt were covered in soot from the explosion of smoke earlier.

"I think it looks nice." Naruto said, looking the cake over. "I mean, it's covered in decorations of our summons Sakura-chan, along with a fox to represent Kurama and the others, and these cats are… well…"

"They're supposed to represent luck! You always say you're the luckiest man alive for having kaa-chan into your life and even luckier to be her husband and our father." Hanami explained with a bright smile.

"I do say that." Naruto said with a smile and rubbing his chin.

"And the train?" Tsunade asked.

"For flare!" Hanami said with her arms open wide and eyes shimmering bright.

"This thing didn't have enough with these?" Shinachiku questioned, pointing his pink towards all the flare-like candles.

"How are you even supposed to eat this?" Arashi asked, narrowing his eyes in judgement.

"Voilà!" Hanami brought out a knife, causing everyone to flinch with worry. Hanami easily cut out a square slice with one of the candles. She then wrapped her hand around the candle and pulled out the slice with the candle working as the handle. "See?" Hanami gestured to her makeshift cake-pop, only to full the sparks burn her arm. "Ow!" Hanami dropped the slice, but her older brother already caught it onto a paper plate, expecting something like this.

"Mm hmm. Figured as much." Shinachiku said, recrossing his arms, earning a raspberry blown his way from his sister.

"Maybe we should take out the candles, and the other stuff, so we can enjoy this… masterpiece." Sakura said with a tired smirk and eye smiles.

"Wait, I need to get my camera, dattebara!" Hanami said as she hurried off and soon enough came back with polaroid camera. She took a picture of her art piece, grinning in the process. "Perfect!" Hanami proclaimed with joy as she grabbed the picture and lightly waved it.

"Wouldn't it have been better to take the picture before cutting the cake?" Shinachiku asked his sister.

"… Shut up!" Hanami retorted, causing her father to chuckle and Tsunade and Sakura to giggle. Sakura then cut out the center piece, put it on a plate and handed it to her daughter.

"I figured this is the slice you wanted the most. Otanjōbiomedetō (Happy Birthday), Hanami-chan." Sakura said to her daughter with a bright smile.

Hanami gained a really bright smile as she ran around the table and leaped at her mother, bringing her into the biggest hug.

"Arigato, Mama!" Hanami said with pure joy, gaining a bright, warm smile and hug back from her mother, Sakura.

After finishing the hug, Sakura focused on taking out the many decorations of the cake so as to make it edible for her family. Took a while, but once done they all had a slice and were pleasantly surprised in how tasty the cake is.

.

.

After having cake for breakfast, just like on her mother's birthday, Hanami got dressed for the day in her yellow shirt with a bright, maroon-colored vest that stopped above the midriff area, UP-maroon-colored shorts with biker shorts under them with a little bit shown pass the UP-maroon-colored shorts, bright, maroon-colored pair of shinobi sandals that reached up halfway to her calves/shins.

"Alright! Time to seize the day!" Hanami cheered with a fist thrust into the air.

"What do you have planned this time?" Shinachiku asked his sister with a frown, now dressed in his everyday gear.

"If I told anyone, then it wouldn't be a surprise." Hanami said with her arms crossed and head raised.

"It practically isn't." Arashi said. "Everyone knows you plan some big prank on your birthday."

"Jokes on you, I don't have any pranks planned for today." Hanami said with a smug smile.

The brothers of the Uzumaki clan looked to one another with raised eyebrows and unconvinced expression.

"You're lying." Shinachiku and Arashi said in unison.

"Nope." Hanami responded, shaking her head. "I got something planned, but it ain't a prank."

Shinachiku and Arashi blinked their eyes.

"You sure?" Shinachiku asked, still not convinced.

"I promise!" Hanami said with a hand over her heart and the other raised in scout's honor.

Both brothers looked to her in shock for a moment.

"Are you feeling alright, nee-chan?" Arashi asked with concern.

"Never better!" Hanami answered with a big ol' grin. "Well, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to make this the best day yet!" Hanami declared as she walked out the door, leaving her brothers flabbergasted and staring at the door she just walked out of.

After a moment, they hurried back into the kitchen where their parents were cleaning up the table while Tsunade was reading The Tale of the Utterly Gusty Shinobi.

"We might have a problem." Shinachiku said with a look of clear worry.

"Oh? What's she got planned this time? Messing with the village's water pressure by adding sparkling soda into the mix?" Sakura questioned with frown.

"That sounds cool." Naruto said with a wide smile.

"Naruto, don't you dare say anything to her." Sakura said, glaring at her husband.

"No, nothing like that." Shinachiku said, still in shock as he waved his hands in front of himself.

"We think onee-chan is broken." Arashi said, clearly worried as well.

"Broken how?" Sakura asked with a raised eyebrow.

"She said she doesn't have any prank planned at all." Shinachiku answered.

"Really?" Sakura wasn't convinced.

"She promised." Arashi said.

"Really?!" Sakura questioned with a shocked expression. "She promised? Those words actually left her mouth?" Sakura asked, wanting her sons to be sure on what they were saying.

"Straight up said 'I promise', like this." Shinachiku said with his hand over his heart and other hand up in scout's honor, mirroring his sister's actions moment ago.

"That's… unbelievable." Sakura said, utterly shocked by her daughter. Indeed she is the daughter of Konoha's Number One Unpredictable Knucklehead, Naruto.

"She did say she has something planned though. Just not a prank." Arashi added.

"Okay, that makes a little more sense." Sakura said calming down a bit, but not by much. "What could that girl be planning?" Sakura wondered to herself as she gently grasped her chin in thought. She heard a small chuckle, causing her to whip her head towards her husband, who was in the kitchen, throwing away the remaining mess in the garbage. "Naruto~… do you know anything about this?" Sakura asked with a staring at the back of her husband with a serious gaze and frown while the whiskered blonde had a sly gaze and a playful smile on his face that he made sure his wife didn't see.

"Not really. That girl is even unpredictable to me. Half the time even I don't know what to expect, dattebayo." Naruto said, turning to his wife with an 'innocent' look and smile on his face.

"Why do I have the feeling you're not being entirely truthful to me." Sakura asked narrowing her eyes.

"Aw, come on, Sakura-chan~. I'm your husband." Naruto said with a grin.

"Which is why I know when you're up to something." Sakura said with her hands on her hips as she made her way over and stopped in front of him. "So spill." Sakura demanded, while Naruto just had a smile and a gaze that showed a sense of suave, playfulness.

"Mm~." Naruto looked to the side as he tapped his chin. "Wait, what time is it?" Naruto looked to the clock. "Damn, I got to be at the office." Naruto said.

"Oh no, not yet you do." Sakura said as she grabbed Naruto by the collar of his orange and black jacket.

"Shikamaru might yell at me." Naruto said with his hands up in defense but retained his bravado.

"Like me yelling is any better." Sakura said furrowing his brow.

"Hmm~." Naruto looked to the side, acting as if he was thinking things over.

"Naruto, you are not leaving this house until you tell me what is going on!" Sakura shouted with an annoyed expression.

"Let's just say… our loving daughter wants to do her own little surprise." Naruto said with a bright smile, causing Sakura to flinch.

"Nani?!" Sakura now looked worried.

Naruto quickly wrapped his arms around Sakura and gave her deep, loving kiss upon her lips.

"Don't want to be late!" Naruto said with a grin as he quickly released his wife and ran out the kitchen.

"Naruto, wait!" Sakura tried to grab her husband, but he was already out of her reach.

"I'll see you later today, okay? Ja ne!" Naruto called out as he hurried over towards the door, putting on his sandals and grabbing his haori right before running out the door before Sakura could catch up.

"Naruto Uzumaki, you get back here!" Sakura shouted as she ran after her husband.

"Love you!" Naruto called out as he hopped away, now leaping from building to building to get to the Hokage Tower.

"You Coward!" Sakura yelled out as she watched his hurrying off from outside the front door.

Shinachiku and Arashi stared at their mother, shaking with irritation outside the door.

"This isn't going to end well, is it?" Shinachiku wondered out loud.

"Who's to say." Arashi responded.

"Oh, that man!" Sakura said with annoyance as she walked back into the house with an angry walk.

"You going to hunt him down, kaa-chan?" Arashi asked his angry mother.

"No, there would be no point. Even if I threatened him with no ramen for a month he wouldn't talk." Sakura said with a frown and her eyes closed as her eyebrow twitched.

"You could go for a year." Tsunade said as from the table, still calmly reading her book with a calm smile on her face.

"Oh please, I'm not that cruel." Sakura said with a frown and slumping her shoulders a bit. "Is there any chance you might know something, Tsunade-sama?" Sakura asked her mentor.

"Nope. I'm just as much in the dark as you are. Just because Hanami and I are very close doesn't mean she tells me everything." Tsunade said as she continued reading her book. "Are you really so scared? You know it's not a prank."

"Yeah, but knowing Hanami it might get innocents involved, even if it isn't one." Sakura said, still worrying over what her daughter might have planned. "Naruto said it was a surprise. Her very own surprise, and considering how far her father goes with his own surprises-"

"Sweet Kami." Shinachiku was now getting really scared.

"Kaa-chan… is Konoha going to burn to the ground?" Arashi asked.

"No! We will not let that happen!" Sakura said with new conviction.

"You know your daughter would never destroy the village." Tsunade said with her eyes closed.

"Well, yeah, not on purpose, but you know how she gets. My daughter has enough know-how to be a registered demolitions expert. Even when she has the best of intentions, she has a habit of leaving some form of chaos in her wake. Chaos that effects a good number of people to even the entire village." Sakura said, as her mind replayed all the antics her daughter committed at the expense of others. "Like that day she turned this village into what she deemed Pinkugakure no Sato (Village Hidden in the Pink)." Sakura said as she and her sons shivered from the memory.

"I still don't know how she managed to rain all those paintballs all at once." Shinachiku said with a frown.

"Granted that was extreme, but you can't just assume the worst out of her every time." Tsunade countered.

"I don't want to. I know that Hanami is actually a very sweet girl and a trustworthy person to stand by your side, just like her father, but also like her father, she has a habit of causing a ruckus even when she has the best of intentions. Last thing I need is for her to get into trouble again. Especially on today of all days." Sakura said with a soft frown and holding her forehead.

"So what do you plan on doing? Hounding her for the rest of the day?" Tsunade asked.

"You know I can't." Sakura said with her arms crossed.

"I can go find her!" Shinachiku offered.

"I could summon some dog-nin to sniff her out." Arashi suggested.

"Well… I suppose… although, I feel bad about trying such a thing." Sakura said before letting out an annoyed groan as she held the sides of her head. "Being a mother is so complicated!"

"I'm sure it is." Tsunade said, resting her cheek onto her fist.

"Look, how about I just go see what she's doing. If everything seems fine, I'll report back and let you know if she's actually not going too far for once." Shinachiku suggested.

"I guess that'll be fine." Sakura said as she gently grasped her chin in thought. Thinking it over, it didn't seem like a bad idea. She wasn't being harsh on her daughter by completely doubting her, but she was at least being cautious enough by trusting her son. "Alright. I'm putting my trust in you, Shinachiku." Sakura said to her son with a serious gaze.

"I'll do everything that I can, kaa-chan!" Shinachiku said with a determined expression as he gave his mother a salute.

"You still sound like you're expecting the worst out of her." Tsunade said, making Shinachiku flinch.

"I mean, I'll do whatever the situation demands, even if that demand means no action is required." Shinachiku quickly said.

"Good." Sakura said with a thumbs up, still feeling a bit conflicted over this now.

"If you'll excuse me." Shinachiku quickly went out the door to go look for his sister.

"So, I guess I'll stay out of this." Arashi said.

"Yeah. Let your brother handle things for now." Sakura said as she knelt and placed a hand gently on Arashi's head. "Right now, I have to get going."

"I'll watch Arashi for today." Tsunade said.

"Arigato, Tsunade-sama." Sakura thanked her mentor as she turned to her and bowed in gratitude. "I won't be gone long for today, so I'll be back before the sun sets. Be good, okay, Arashi?" Sakura said to her youngest with a smile.

"Yes, kaa-chan." Arashi said with a nod before raising his arms up to her, wanting a hug.

Sakura smiled as she knelt back down and hugged her precious young one.

"Love you, my Akai Honō (Red Blaze)." Sakura said with a smile.

"Love you, kaa-chan." Arashi said back with his own smile.

Sakura released her son, then stood back up and headed for the door. Once she put on her strapped sandals and grabbed her doctor's coat, Sakura left the house to head for the hospital.

Arashi sighed as he walked over towards the table and sat down next to his 'grandma'.

"You don't think Shinachiku's going to be able to pull it off, do you?" Tsunade asked.

"Nope." Arashi answered, shaking his head. "I believe he can accomplish a lot of things and handle anyone who comes his way, but Hanami's just a whole other league of difficulty." Arashi said, causing Tsunade to laugh.

"That girl is as crazy as I remember." Tsunade said with a smile.

"O bāchan, are you sure you don't know what's going on?" Arashi asked, as the Sanin smirked in response.

.

.

Shinachiku landed atop of a building where he looked around the area just in case.

'No sign of her.' Shinachiku thought to himself. He rubbed his chin in thought as he then stood up straight, closed his eyes and focused his energy.

"You sure you want me to sense her? There's a chance they might sense us back." A voice spoke within Shinachiku's head.

'Damn. I knew I was being too hopeful.' Shinachiku thought with a frown as he opened his eyes.

"I'm getting worried." A feminine voice spoke, catching Shinachiku's attention as he walked over towards the edge of the building and looked over it to see a pair of women, one brunette the other a red head, talking. "She just walked on by like there was no care in the world today. Coming from her it's pretty scary." The brunette of the two said.

"Yeah. She has to be planning something big." The red head said with a frown.

"Excuse me." Shinachiku landed next to the women, surprising them. "You're talking about my sister, Hanami, right? Did you see where she went?" Shinachiku asked.

"Yeah, she went down that way." The red head said, pointing down towards the road on her right.

"Arigato." Shinachiku said as he ran down the road with much haste.

Seeing the blonde shinobi hurrying after his sister did not help their nerves.

"I'll be locking my door tonight." The brunette said with a worried frown, earning an agreeing nod from her red headed friend.

Shinachiku hurried down the road, until he saw the sight of pink and maroon up ahead. Carefully sneaking over at a quick pace, Shinachiku hid behind a nearby crate and verified that those colors were indeed of his sister. Shinachiku started to trail Hanami, who was just humming with a carefree smile on her face and her hands behind her head.

'Okay, something is indeed up. Whenever she's like this there is nothing to feel at ease about.' Shinachiku thought to himself. "Hmm?" He picked up his head in surprise to see her then turning and walking down a passageway. Shinachiku followed her into the passageway to find it was an ally, where he saw Hanami humming and writing something on the wall at the end of the alleyway with a spray can. "You got to be kidding me." Shinachiku said as he made his way into the alley to stop his sister from defacing Konoha property.

"Hold it." A voice spoke within Shinachiku's head, causing the blonde to stop in place. "Look at the writing." The voice said.

Shinachiku listened and read the writing Hanami finished spraying on the wall.

'Konkon Was Here'

"What the-?!" Shinachiku was surprised as then Hanami turned to him and grinned as whisker marks similar to their father's appeared on her cheeks before she was surrounded in a puff of smoke to then reveal a pink fox in her place.

"Ha, ha! Konkon tricked you!" The pink fox, Konkon, said with a grin.

Konkon has pink fur with the tip of her tail along with her underbelly, mouth and snout covered in white fur, and her feet and ears which were covered in an UP-maroon color.

"Looks like my sister tricked us. Clever girl." The voice within Shinachiku said.

Shinachiku heard some small laughter behind him. He turned to see his sister standing behind him with a good ol' Uzumaki grin and her hands behind her head.

"Gotcha." Hanami said with her grin widening. "You and Mamoru really got to work on your skills better."

"Little Brat!" The voice within Shinachiku's head, Mamoru, shouted with annoyance.

"So, being kaa-chan's little watch dog and keeping an eye on me, huh? You guys have such little faith." Hanami teased with a cat-like smile and sly eyes.

"Well, given your 'sins of the past', we can hardly be blamed." Shinachiku said, turning his head away with his arms crossed. "Even in the act of kindness with no pranks involved your actions go way too nuts for anyone's liking."

"What? You're just exaggerating." Hanami said with a frown.

"The time you decided to give all the Inuzuka dogs a walk causing a stampede throughout the village, those super dumplings you made for everyone that was filled with super mouth popper candy bits that hurt the citizens mouths for like a week, causing the fountains around Konoha to fire out fireworks instead of water, which to this day I don't know how you accomplished that with the water pumps, the free-for-all paintball tournament… the onbaa incident. And that's only off the top of my head." Shinachiku listed things off as Hanami just remained silent for a moment with her eyes closed and a thin lip, before sticking her tongue out and making a farting noise. "Don't give me that! You know I'm making a solid argument here!" Shinachiku exclaimed with an annoyed anime expression.

"You guys just worry too much. You got to be more like tou-chan, dattebara." Hanami said with a smile and her head held high as Konkon trotted to her side.

"The reason we're worried is because you're more like tou-chan, dattebaro." Shinachiku said with a frown and his shoulders slumped.

"Either way, you're wasting your time." Hanami said with a shrug. "Because what I got planned… cannot be stopped." Hanami said as she had sly, wicked eyes and a dangerously wide smile, causing her brother to flinch with a look of worry. "Ja ne!" Hanami bid her brother farewell with a big grin as she and Konkon vanished in flashes of pink.

Shinachiku stared at the spot they once were for a moment before speaking.

"I'm gonna need some help with this."

.

.

Sakura was making her way to the hospital with a worried look on her face. She was still so preoccupied on Hanami that everything else didn't matter. She didn't like to doubt her daughter, but with past evidence it's hard to not think she might take things 'a little' too far.

"What if she tries something like making it rain ramen somehow or even turn it into our drinking water. She might also try and turn the plant life in the village pink or something. Or maybe-"

"Jeez, what's got you so stressed that you're mumbling to yourself, Forehead?" A familiar feminine voice asked, causing Sakura to turn to see Ino out with her daughter, Inori, with shopping bags in their hands.

"Oh, hi, Ino-Buta. Inori-chan." Sakura greeted the mother and daughter.

"Hi, obasan." Inori greeted the pink haired woman with a smile.

"What's got you so worried?" Ino asked, causing Sakura to sigh tiredly.

"Hanami."

"Ah~." Ino and Inori understood immediately.

"She's got something planned in the works today. Should have expected as much." Ino said with a small smirk. "I have to lock my doors tonight."

"Don't worry, it's not a prank." Sakura said.

"Really?" Ino questioned as she and Inori were shocked.

"Yeah. She promised it wasn't." Sakura said with a small smile. "I'd still lock your doors though. She is planning a surprise, just like her father."

"A surprise for what?" Inori questioned with a raised eyebrow.

"I can take a guess. After all, not every mother has a child born the same day she married the love of her life." Ino said with a smile.

"Oh, yeah! Congratulations, Sakura-obasan!" Inori said congratulated her aunt with a bright smile.

"Thank you, Inori." Sakura thanked the young jet-black and blonde-haired girl with a smile.

"So, your little girl has to be planning something big, eh?" Ino suggested with a smirk and nudging her best friend.

"That's what I'm worried about." Sakura said with a frown. "You know Hanami. Even with the best of intentions her actions can have some unwanted consequences."

"Yeah, I still remember how much my mouth hurt from trying her Super Special Hanami Punch Packed Dumplings." Ino said with a small frown as she rubbed the side of her mouth.

"That free-for-all paintball tournament was still pretty fun though." Inori said.

"Uh, excuse me, but who was the one who had to clean up the shop after your little standoff with Hanami." Ino said with a frown and her hands on her hips, causing her daughter to flinch.

"At least it beats the onbaa incident." Sakura said as she rubbed her temples.

"They were cute though. Until they got big." Inori said, as she rubbed her back, remembering the absolutely adorable creature that once was there constantly repeating 'onbu'.

"Okay, so you have every reason to worry, but you shouldn't let the fear of what's to come cloud your mind all day." Ino said.

"I know, but it's just so hard." Sakura said with a sigh and her shoulders slumped with her eyes closed. "I mean, it is Hanami we're talking about."

"True, but just think about something else." Ino said.

"Like what?" Sakura asked with a dull expression.

"Something big like maybe… your wedding day!" Ino suggested with a snap and a bright smile.

"My wedding day?" Sakura questioned as her cheeks started to warm up just thinking about the day she married her husband, Naruto, which was fourteen years ago today.

.

.

Fourteen years ago, in what is usually known as Yuki no Kuni (Land of Snow) half the time in the year is currently Haru no Kuni (Land of Spring), where a big event was being held.

The wedding of Naruto Uzumaki, the Hokage of Konohagakure, and Sakura Haruno, soon to be known as Sakura Uzumaki, was being held.

Princess Koyuki Kazahana, an old friend of Team 7, had heard from afar of Naruto's achievement of being Hokage and his engagement to his pink haired teammate, which while the Hokage goal she expected success in, but was shocked by the latter news, with both happening on the same day. She was so overjoyed for the pair that she insisted that their wedding ceremony take place in her land, currently in springtime.

Naruto couldn't refuse an offer from a friend, and Sakura could not resist the chance to marry in a beautiful place like Haru no Kuni, so they agreed.

When news spread throughout the world of where the wedding would be held, many people, a good many of them friends that Naruto had made in the past, and he made a lot of them, came from around the five nations for the wedding.

T.V. stations even came to broadcast the event live. After all, two of the four heroes who saved the entire world itself were about to tie the knot! Who wouldn't want to broadcast such a romantic story around the world?! The ratings alone would hit the roof, with many of them being from women, and a good number of men, who were suckers for lovey dovey tales, especially around iconic heroes.

It was like a fairytale come true! Who wouldn't want to miss that?!

The wedding was being held atop of a beautiful mountain rich with life. Perfectly green grass, gorgeous flowers, a beautiful lake nearby with the surface of it glistening like it was filled with diamonds shining brightly from the rays of the Sun and, of course, for the occasion, cherry blossom trees scattered around. There was also a small palace there where the ceremony would be held as the altar as there was a small shrine in front of the home.

Apparently, this mountain was Koyuki's summer home. She barely used it since she was always so focused on the growth of her country, but she thought it would be perfect for Naruto and Sakura's wedding.

It was close to showtime, and all the guests were excited.

No one, however, was more excited than Naruto. He was about to marry the love of his life! The girl he's had feelings for since he was a child, and forever will in this life and the next. Nothing. Not even the end of time will stop his love for her!

Screw it, not even the end of time will stop it! I don't know how that would be possible, but dammit, if Naruto says so, then it can be done!

However, while Naruto was excited, and a little nervous, his wife-to-be was, on the other hand, extremely nervous.

Sakura was inside a beautiful room within the palace, pacing back and forth, with her heart racing at a fast rate.

Sakura had her hair done in a bun tied in a golden rope fashion into a ribbon with a cherry blossom and a yellow rose pinned onto it by two golden hair sticks with pearls at the ends of them. Her hair was also more brushed to the right side covering the right side of her forehead, with more hair framing the right side of her face than the left. She wore a beautiful, long flowing white kimono with a faded hue of pink at the shoulders and some at the sleeves that progressed into a calozzo magenta at the ends of the sleeve with golden spirals decorated around the sleeves, two lines of calozzo magenta that formed an inflexed arch at the bottom half of her kimono with both lines meeting up where her magenta obi was tied around her waist, the collar had red lining and resting inside the breast was a white hand fan with a golden rope with golden tassels and a golden flower design. Underneath her kimono she also wore magenta kimono shirt, magenta biker shorts, because she wasn't taking the chance of harsh winds that would have exposed her undergarments, and long with socks with golden sandals tied with golden thread. Also, to complete the look, she had a shade of cherry blossom pink lipstick to match her hair, salmon pink eye shadow and a pair of long earrings with two hot pink beads and a four white petal design with a red center at the ends of them.

She looked absolutely stunning, and she was going to blow her soon to be husband away. More than she ever has before. That was a guarantee… yet that didn't make her feel any less anxious ridden.

Sakura practiced breathing exercises to calm her nerves.

'Breath in.' She breathed in. 'Breathe out.' She breathed out. 'Breathe in.' Air in. 'Breathe out.' Air out. 'Breathe in.' Inhale. 'Breathe out.' Exhale.

This wasn't working.

Sakura groaned with annoyance as her teeth was grit and her hands clenched into shaking fists.

"What's with you?!" Sakura shouted at her reflection in a mirror. "It's just Naruto." Sakura said with her arms crossed as her eyes then softened. "The same Naruto who went through so much for you… the same who helped you open up all those clinics throughout the five nations to heal others… the same who was ready to sacrifice his life for you many times, ready to destroy a literal moon monster trying to destroy humanity so you could have a future even if the cost was sharing one with you… the same who did it all just for you and your happiness… because your smile… your smile is the one thing that always brightens his day… brightens his own life even… because it's just that important to him. More important than his own dream, because you're just that precious to him… and you wouldn't want it any other way." Sakura sighed dreamily with blissful smile as she hugged herself, feeling all warm and fuzzy as the only thing on her now was seeing Naruto, smiling at her with that gorgeous smile of his.

It always warmed her heart and brightened her whole world.

"Wow." A feminine voice spoke, causing Sakura to turn to see her maid of honor, Ino, at the door. "And here I came expecting a mess of a woman who's ready to jump out the window." Ino said with a smirk and her arms crossed.

"You made it a couple seconds too late for that show." Sakura said, crossing her arms once more.

"Well, there's nothing to be nervous about." Ino said as she walked over to Sakura.

"Oh, sure there isn't. It's not like your wedding is the must-see event of the year with hundreds of people from the four corners of the world coming all the way to see it like some big spectacle, and let's not forget to mention that it's going to be broadcasted live to every T.V. in the world." Sakura said sarcastically, rolling her eyes as she thrust her arms up with anxiety and annoyance.

"Oh, I wish." Ino said, earning a pout and annoyed glare from her best friend. "Still though, don't let that discourage you. Who cares how many people are out there and every person on this planet is watching-"

"Really easing my nerves here, Ino." Sakura said with a frown and half-lidded eyes.

"The point I'm getting at is, is that they don't matter. Not compared to the man waiting out there for you." Ino said with a smile as she gently grabbed Sakura's shoulders and turned her back towards the mirror. "Look at yourself. You're going to be the only one that knucklehead out there will focus on. I guarantee you are going to be the only person he sees. Everyone else will just vanish from sight, because you're going to radiate a bright light from the heavens that no man could ever ignore."

"Did you get a line like that from a romance novel?" Sakura asked with a giggle.

"My point being that once you walk down that aisle, it'll be like the whole world just vanishes with you two being the only ones around, and then I guarantee you won't feel nervous by then." Ino said with a soft, caring smile, causing Sakura to smile feeling touched with her eyes feeling like they're just ready to tear up.

"Ino, your words are gonna mess up my make-up." Sakura said as she tried to compose herself.

"Well, we can't have that. Your make-up already looks perfect. No need for it to get messed up." Ino said, as Sakura closed her eyes and recomposed herself by inhaling and exhaling.

"Alright… I think I'm ready." Sakura said with a smile.

"Sakura~." Another feminine voice caught their attention, making them turn to see Sakura's mother, Mebuki, aiming a camera their way, causing Sakura to smile as her mother took the picture. "Perfect!" Mebuki said with a smile. She suddenly started to get teary eyed as her lips were quivering. "My… Baby Girl Is Getting Married!" Mebuki cried out with tears spilling as she ran over to her daughter and embraced her.

"Oh, mom. Don't cry." Sakura said with a soft smile as she hugged her mother back.

"I can't help it. I still remember the first time I held you in my arms as if the memory was still fresh. Now look at you… getting married and about to start a new life with someone so dear. I just can't help, but cry. I'm so proud of you, Sakura." Mebuki said, looking to her daughter with a wide smile and teary eyes, causing Sakura to smile with joy, love and gratitude for her mother as she felt her eyes readying to spill.

Ino handed Sakura a handkerchief, which she used to dab her eyes to rid herself of any tears threatening to spill.

"Arigato, kaa-chan." Sakura said with a loving smile that her mother returned as the two embraced one another again.

"Excuse me." A new feminine voice spoke causing the three to turn to see Hinata at the doorway. "I'm sorry to interrupt, but I came to let you know that everything is all set." Hinata informed.

"Oh, I better get out there! I want to get the perfect spot to take pictures with!" Mebuki said with excitement before she suddenly kissed Sakura's forehead. "Congrats, sweetie. I'll see you out there." Mebuki said with a smile, earning one last smile from her daughter before she headed out of the door.

"Congratulations, Sakura-san. You look beautiful." Hinata said with a smile.

"Thank you, Hinata, but I don't look as beautiful as you did on your wedding day." Sakura said with a bit of an embarrassed smile.

"Please, don't say that. You're just every bit as beautiful. The last thing you should do is put any sort of criticism on yourself on your wedding day." Hinata said with a kind smile.

"She's right, you know." Ino agreed with a smile and a hand on Sakura's shoulder.

"Right." Sakura nodded. "Thank you both for being here." Sakura said with a gracious smile.

"We're honored." Hinata said with a sweet smile.

"Anytime, Forehead." Ino said with a smile. "Now come on, no need to keep your man waiting." Ino teased with a grin.

"Agreed. Naruto looks so excited he can barely contain himself. Keep him waiting any longer and he'll just rush right in here to see you." Hinata said with an amused smile.

"Knowing that idiot, that's exactly what he'll do." Sakura said with a smirk as she shook her head.

"Yup. And now he's your idiot. Forever." Ino said with a bright smile.

Sakura's eyes and smile softened as her cheeks warmed up with a tint of pink.

"Yes. Yes, he is." Sakura said, feeling her heart flutter when she said those words.

.

.

The ceremony was about to start.

Sakura was making her way to meet Naruto.

There she saw him, dressed in the traditional Kuromontsuki as his groom attire with a long black haori with long loose sleeves with a white rope tying it together with a white puffball in the center of it, with a black men's kimono underneath, but he also had grey hakama pants, an orange obi around his waist and adorning the back and both sides of the breast area of the haori were a white rings with the Uzumaki clan spiral in the center of them.

Naruto was a bit nervous as he waited for Sakura. He breathed in and out, trying to calm his nerves.

When Sakura saw this, she softly smiled. For some reason, seeing Naruto being nervous just before the ceremony was about to take place actually calmed her nerves. She decided to make her presence known to him.

"This is a surprise. Seeing you of all people so nervous." Sakura said with a smile.

Naruto was exhaling as he turned towards Sakura. Even if he was holding his breath, he would have been left breathless at the sight of his longtime love, soon to become his wife.

Naruto was blown away by how beautiful his soon-to-be wife was today. No… no, no, that wasn't the right word. Not even gorgeous was enough to describe her. She was… she was… Sakura. That name meant everything to him that no other word that was meant to describe beauty would ever be able to outmatch or even compare. That's how beautiful she is. Just her name alone put everything this world had to offer to shame

"Sa… Sakura-chan." Naruto spoke her name with awe as his cheeks warmed up.

"Y-You're starting to embarrass me with all your staring, Naruto." Sakura said as she looked to the side with a soft, flattered and bashful smile and her cheeks being the same color as her hair.

"S-Suman, but… could you really blame me? I mean… I've never seen anything or anyone more amazing than what you are today." Naruto said, still in awe of his bride's presence.

Sakura's eyes widened with a surprised expression for a moment, before looking away to the side again with her hand hovering over her mouth, unintentionally hiding her flattered yet bashful smile as her cheeks heated up again.

"Cha! Dammit, you make it so hard not to kiss you!" Sakura blurted out with an embarrassed grin.

"That's how I think about you every day, dattebayo!" Naruto said with a big ol' Uzumaki and rubbing the back of his head as he and Sakura then laughed.

"Oi." The two stopped laughing and turned to see Shikamaru, holding a baby girl in his arms. "Sorry to interrupt, but they wanted me to tell you two that they're about to start, so you better line up with those shrine workers. Don't know why they bothered to ask me to tell you this instead of someone else though." Shikamaru said with a dull expression.

"Arigato, Shikamaru." Naruto said with a smile as he looked to the baby girl in the Nara leader's arms, who had teal eyes and dark hair in a pair of spiky, bushy pigtails and a little lock of hair sticking out the border on the right side, covering a bit of the peak of her forehead. "Hi, Shikako-chan~. How are you?" Naruto greeted the little dark-haired girl with a grin as he tickled her nose. "Ready to see your Naruto-Ojisan and Sakura-Obasan finally getting married?" Naruto asked the little baby, who moaned in mild annoyance as she pushed away Naruto's finger. "Definitely your parents' daughter, that's for sure." Naruto joked with a smile.

"You're just that troublesome, Naruto." Shikamaru said with a dull frown. "Anyway, good luck. To the both of you." Shikamaru said to the bride and groom with a smile that showed much support.

"Arigato, Shikamaru." Sakura said with a smile and bow.

"Thanks, Shika." Naruto said to his friend with a smile.

"See you when you become Mr. and Mrs. Uzumaki." Shikamaru said as he turned and walked away with a wave.

The bride and groom smiled as they watched Shikamaru walked away where he soon met his wife, Temari.

"I still can't believe those two were not only the first to get married, but also have a kid. Then again, you and Gaara were the ones who made it possible." Sakura said as she turned to Naruto, only to see him rubbing the back of his head and looking down with a blush. "What?" Sakura asked with a raised eyebrow, making Naruto flinch.

"Uh, well… it's just… it looks so nice you know." Naruto said as his cheeks heated up more.

"Hmm?" Sakura blinked her eyes in mild surprise.

"I mean… that's gonna be us too soon. And I guess I'm just getting a little excited, dattebayo." Naruto said as he looked forward as he imagined himself and Sakura already married with a little bundle in the pinkette's arms. "I hope we have one as cute as Shikako." Naruto said with a warm smile, greatly surprising Sakura. "Aw hell, they'll be even cuter if they get your forehead, dattebayo!" Naruto said, turning to Sakura with a bright Uzumaki grin.

Sakura's eyes were greatly widened as she had an embarrassed look on her face with a raging, burning reddening glow coming off her cheeks.

"L-Let's just get to our places already, baka." Sakura quickly said as she grabbed Naruto's hand and dragged him over to where the shrine masters and maidens were to walk them in for the ceremony. Once they were in place, Sakura thought over what Naruto said, and she couldn't help but gently smile. "Naruto."

"Hmm?" Naruto looked down to his soon-to-wife.

"If… if the day comes where we are blessed with a child…" Sakura looked up to him with a bright, loving smile. "I hope they have a smile as gorgeous as yours." Sakura confessed as her smile widened, along with a pair of eye smiles and a light blush on her cheeks.

Naruto's eyes widened in surprise as his cheeks were red from such words.

"A-Arigato, Sakura-chan… but your smile is way more amazing than mine, dattebayo." Naruto said with an embarrassed, yet flattered smile as he lightly scratched his heated cheek with a finger.

"Not to me, baka-kun." Sakura said as she lightly pressed her head against Naruto's shoulder, making his smile widen as he felt his heart burst with joy and love.

"Here we go. You two ready?" The shrine master asked the couple who were just moments away from being husband and wife.

"Hai." Naruto and Sakura said with a pair of nods as they stood straight.

The shrine master turned and nodded to the other shrine workers who were readying to play their instruments.

"You know what would be great?" Naruto whispered to Sakura.

"What?" Sakura asked.

"If we had a child of our own born on this day. Now that would be one heck of an anniversary, dattebayo." Naruto said with a grin, making Sakura chuckle with a bright smile and warm cheeks.

"That would be the day." Sakura replied just before the shrine workers started playing their instruments, officially starting the ceremony.

.

.

The sounds of a baby crying were heard throughout the room and into the halls of the hospital.

"It's a girl!" Tsunade said with pride as she held a little pink haired baby girl in her hands.

"Congratulations, Sakura!" Shizune said with pride for her fellow disciple.

Sakura panted with sweat drenching her brow.

"Cha… Chanara…" Sakura said, smiling as she continued to pant.

"Yatta!" Naruto cheered with a big bright grin as proud tears in his eyes. "Uh, Sakura-chan… can you let go of my hand now?" Naruto asked his wife, who had been gripping his left hand very, very tightly. Once she did, it throbbed from the pain of being constricted so tightly with such titanic strength. "Arigato." Naruto said with a big tear hanging from his left eye, signifying his pain.

"You could have just given her your robotic hand." Shizune said to the proud father.

"Thought of that. Kurama said I would have to get a new one afterwards. This thing ain't cheap, dattebayo." Naruto said, as he clenched and unclenched his robotic right hand.

After cleaning the baby up a bit and wrapping her in a blanket, Tsunade brought her over to Sakura's side, gently placing her beside her mother.

Sakura turned her head to see the baby girl wailing beside her.

"Sh, sh, sh, sh~. There's no need for that." Sakura said in a soft, gentle tone as she found the strength to bring her arms over and gently held her new daughter into her hands. After a moment, the baby girl started to ease up and soon enough stop crying all together. Sakura let out a small laugh as she smiled with pure joy as tears started to form in her eyes. "She's beautiful!" Sakura said as she brought the baby girl closer into her embrace.

"She looks just like her mother." Naruto said with a proud smile.

"She acts just like her father though." Sakura said with a joyous smile as she found the strength to sit up.

"Yeah… she is perfect isn't she." Naruto said with his classic Uzumaki grin.

"Baka." Sakura said with a small laugh.

"So, what are you going to name her?" Shizune asked.

"Well, we were having trouble with that actually." Sakura admitted.

"Yeah, we thought of names like Destry, Kasumi, Hanako-"

"Destry? What kind of name is that?" Shizune questioned with confusion and a raised eyebrow.

"A name I'm not naming my daughter, that's for sure." Sakura said with her head raised high.

"But now looking at her… how about Sakura Jr.?" Naruto suggested with a wide smile.

"How about 'no'." Sakura said with a disapproving frown.

"Oh, come on, Sakura-chan~. She looks just like you. How can that not fit?" Naruto questioned.

"She may look like me, but something tells me she won't grow up to be just like me in the end." Sakura said as she looked down to her lightly snoozing daughter's face.

"Well, the gaki does have a point. She does look like she could be your clone, only with tanner skin. Naming her something completely different from your name would be odd." Tsunade said with her arms crossed as she looked down to the pink haired infant in her student's arms. "How about something like… Hanami?" Tsunade suggested.

"Hanami?" Naruto perked up his head with new interest.

"Hanami…" Sakura repeated the name as she looked down to her baby girl. "Hanami… yes… that's perfect!" Sakura agreed as she hugged her daughter much closer. "My little baby girl. My little Hanami." Sakura said with a bright, joyous smile.

"It is perfect!" Naruto said with a huge, happy grin as he hugged his wife. "Hi there, little Hanami. My little perfect flower." Naruto said as he lightly tickled his new daughter's nose, causing the baby to laugh a bit, surprising her parents. "She laughed! It's so beautiful!" Naruto said with anime tears pouring from his eyes.

"She sure is." Sakura said as she started to tear up with pride and joy at her new little pride and joy.

"Oi, Tsunade-O bāchan, I just realized since you gave our baby her name that makes you her godmother, dattebayo." Naruto said with a grin, causing Tsunade to flinch with a blush on her cheeks.

"C-C-Chotto Matte!" Tsunade spoke up.

"Too late! You can't take it back now!" Naruto said with a big Uzumaki grin. "Besides, I'm happy about it. After all, Ero-sennin's the reason I got my name. It actually makes me glad to have my daughter have something similar, dattebayo." Naruto said with a smile.

Tsunade blinked her eyes in surprise. She then softly smiled, feeling honored and joyous.

'Jiraiya, eh? How can having something in common with that perv make me feel so honored?' Tsunade wondered to herself with a soft smile and a pink tint on her cheeks.

Naruto smiled as he gently brushed his hand against Hanami's head. A thought then came to his mind.

"Almost forgot. There's someone who she has to meet." Naruto said with a smile.

"Yeah." Sakura agreed with a nod.

Naruto hurried out of the room and went to the waiting room nearby.

Sakura waited patiently, looking at her newborn's gorgeous face. She couldn't help but smile brightly every time she looked down at the new pinkette's face.

"So, uh… does she also… have 'his' power too?" Shizune asked.

"May I?" Tsunade asked Sakura, earning a nod from her younger student. Tsunade focused chakra to her hands and hovered them over Hanami. There a pink source of chakra was seen glowing from the baby's torso. "Yup. Just like Shina, this one has been blessed with a piece of Kurama's chakra. However, her own feels more plentiful than Shina-chan's was. She's definitely going to be a wily one." Tsunade said with a smile as she pulled her hands back and crossed her arms once again.

"Great. Just what I need. Another hyperactive Uzumaki to deal with." Sakura said with an amused smile, still happy to have Hanami as her own, nonetheless.

"Well, at least you have one who is very grounded. That's hard to come by from us Uzumakis. Our clan has been known to have members who can get a little overzealous, especially on matters that are trivial." Tsunade admitted with a humorous smile.

"Right, like your habits of gambling and drinking." Shizune muttered, only to flinch when she felt a sensation of killer intent directed towards her.

"I'm sorry Shizune, I couldn't quite catch that." Tsunade said with an 'all too sweet' smile as a dark aura radiated around her.

"N-Nothing!" Shizune said with her hands up in defense.

They all heard the door open to reveal Naruto with Shinachiku by his side, holding the younger blonde's hand.

"There you are." Sakura greeted her son with a smile as she sat up more, causing Shinachiku's eyes to widen as he saw his new little sister, Hanami, in their mother's arms. "Come meet your new sister, Shina-chan." Sakura said to her eldest child.

Naruto smiled as he guided Shinachiku over. Shinachiku suddenly stopped and released his father's hand, confusing the older blonde and pinkette.

"Arigato, O bāchan." Shinachiku bowed to his grandmother figure, Tsunade, with a polite and grateful bow, thanking the Sannin and surprising her. "Arigato, Shizune-Obasan." Shinachiku then thanked the dark-haired medic in the same manner.

"Oh, you're welcome, Shina-chan. It was our pleasure." Shizune said with a smile.

"Still polite as ever, I see." Tsunade said with a bright smile.

Sakura and Naruto smiled brightly at their son's behavior. Hopefully, they'll raise their new daughter just as right.

Naruto knelt and grabbed his son, helping him onto the bed to now sit beside his mother.

"Shina-chan… meet your new baby sister. Hanami." Sakura introduced her son to the newest member to their family.

Shinachiku looked to Hanami's beautiful face in awe.

"She looks just like you, kaa-chan." Shinachiku said.

"Well, she also has some of your father's looks too." Sakura said.

"Yup. She's got the whole package, just like you, champ." Naruto said with a grin as he ruffled his son's hair.

"Would you like to hold her?" Sakura asked, causing Shinachiku to flinch in surprise.

"A-Are you sure? W-What if I do it wrong?" Shinachiku questioned, feeling nervous.

"Don't worry. I'll show you." Sakura said with a gentle smile as she handed her new daughter to her son, showing him how to hold the baby girl. "See, just like this." Sakura said, position her son's arm properly before letting go.

"A-Am I doing it, right?" Shinachiku asked, looking up to his mother.

"Mm hmm?" Sakura said with a nod and smile.

Shinachiku stared down to his sister, who was snoozing a bit.

"She's… so small… and warm." Shinachiku said, still surprised that he was holding his new little sister.

"Well, don't just gawk. Say hi to her." Naruto said with a smile.

"O-Oh. Y-Yeah." Shinachiku said as he looked back down to his sister. "Hi, Hanami. I'm your big brother. Shinachiku." Shinachiku introduced himself to the snoozing baby. As he stared at her, he couldn't help, but feel a strong urge to protect her. She was so small and precious… he couldn't help, but want to be there for her always, no matter what. "I promise… I will protect you, always." Shinachiku said, causing his parents, along with Tsunade and Shizune to smile with pride at him.

Hanami's face scrunched up as she slowly opened her eyes, reveal beautiful cerulean blue eyes. She noticed three people looking down to her. She didn't exactly know what was going on, but she knew that they all were looking down to her.

"Tou-chan, she has your eyes." Shinachiku said to his father.

"Well, would you look at that." Naruto said with a happy grin.

"It works for her." Sakura said with a bright smile.

Hanami was curious about these three. She didn't know who or what they were… but they didn't make her want to cry, so she was okay with them.

"H-Hi, Hanami." Shinachiku greeted his little sister. Even though she didn't know that was her name now, she did feel he was talking to her. Both brother and sister stared at one another for a moment. Hanami suddenly started reaching her hand up towards Shinachiku, surprising the young blonde. Shinachiku stayed still as his sister's hand came closer and closer… until she gripped his nose tightly. "Ow!" Shinachiku flinched with pain as Hanami let out a big laugh. "Let go, let go!" Shinachiku complained as he managed to pry his nose away from Hanami's hand, as the baby girl laughed loudly.

"Hanami, that wasn't very funny." Sakura scolded her new baby girl with a small frown, but the baby pinkette just kept on laughing. It didn't help that Naruto laughed as well. "Don't encourage her!" Sakura now scolded her husband.

"Sorry, sorry." Naruto said with a grin as he rubbed the back of his head.

"My nose~. How is a baby that strong?" Shinachiku complained as he rubbed his aching nose.

"Aw~, looks like you got your mama's superstrength, huh, Hanami-chan?" Naruto said, still grinning as he tickled his daughter's nose, only for her to grip his finger next with above average infant strength. "Whoa. You really have. No baby has ever gripped my finger that tightly before." Naruto said with a surprised expression.

"It could be a side-effect from having her portion of Kurama's chakra melding with her own. Not only is her chakra signature higher than any infant I've ever seen, but it looks like it's affected her physical capabilities as well." Tsunade informed.

"Just great. You got your father's energy and personality, along with my strength. You are going to be a handful." Sakura said with a sigh, with her eyes closed and a tired frown on her face.

"I think she's perfect!" Naruto said with a grin.

"I think things aren't going to be as easy as they used to be." Shinachiku said with a pout.

Sakura opened her eyes again as she looked down at her still laughing daughter. She couldn't help but smile warmly. The only kind of warm smile a mother could have upon meeting their child for the first time. One that already couldn't live without the little bundle before her.

"Welcome home, our little flower." Sakura said with a soft smile and gentle tone, as Naruto and Shinachiku smiled as well. "My little Hanami." Sakura gently brushed her hand against the smiling infant's head.

.

.

Sakura couldn't help but smile with much warmth as she recalled her daughter that day. Her beautiful smiling face. Soon enough that smiling infant's face grew into the young girl with her hands behind her head and father's grin plastered on her face as she chuckled with delight.

"See? Now doesn't that help keep your mind off of your daughter?" Ino spoke with a smile.

"Nope." Sakura said, shaking her head. "It just makes me focus on her more than ever."

"Oh." Ino said with her shoulders slumped.

"But differently." Sakura said, causing Ino and Inori to look to her with confusion. "I'm being so worried on what grand plan she's got cooking up, that I'm forgetting how special she truly is. Today's her birthday and she wants to spend it by giving her own parents a surprise for their anniversary. No matter how dumb or chaotic she acts, she does things with the best of intentions. Especially today of all days where she can be selfish, she's acting so selflessly." Sakura said with a soft, warm smile.

"Well, she is yours and Naruto's daughter. She couldn't have more selfless parents to inherit that from." Ino said with a smile.

This caused Sakura's smile to widen.

"Yup! Can't really deny that now, can I?" Sakura said with a bright smile.

"So, you're not going to worry about Hanami now, obasan?" Inori asked.

"I never said that. I'm still going to be a bit worried, but now I'm just going to let whatever happens happen. I'll let the pieces fall where they may and then I'll scold my little troublemaker." Sakura said, still smiling with her hands on her hips.

Ino laughed at this.

"Good grief, you are so different from the girl I grew up with. You wouldn't have let Naruto off that easy." Ino said with wide smile.

"I still wouldn't! That reckless baka is the Hokage. I can't afford to let him embarrass himself like that. Not while I'm his wife." Sakura said with a proud smile.

"Good on you. And here I thought you were going soft." Ino teased with an amused smile.

"In your dreams, Pig." Sakura said with a smirk as she and Ino then laughed.

"Well, good luck with the rest of your day, Forehead. I'm sure you're going to need it." Ino said as she passed by her friend, giving her a wave.

"Goodbye, Obasan." Inori said as she walked by her 'aunt' with a smile and wave.

"See you later, you two, and thank you." Sakura said with a smile and wave.

"Oh, and I almost forgot! Kinenbi Omedetō (Happy Anniversary), Sakura!" Ino called out to her friend, giving her one last wave.

"Kinenbi Omedetō, Obasan!" Inori called out, mirroring her mother's actions.

"Arigato!" Sakura called back with her own wave. Her smile widened as she turned and continued back onto her path towards the hospital. Her thoughts then went back to that day, nine years ago exactly.

"Told you so."

.

.

"Hmm?" Sakura looked to her husband in confusion.

"This is one heck of an anniversary, huh?" Naruto said with a smile.

Sakura blinked her eyes in realization before she looked down to her children, with her son holding his little sister in his arms, smiling warmly at them.

"Yeah. It sure is." Sakura said with a soft tone and a warm heart just as her husband kissed her forehead.

"Kinenbi Omedetō, Sakura-chan." Naruto said with a warm and loving smile.

"Kinenbi Omedetō, Naruto." Sakura said back with the same warm and loving smile then looked back to her children as her smile widened. "And Otanjōbiomedetō, Hanami."

.

.

Sakura's smile widened as her eyes got teary.

"That look kook." Sakura said as she wiped away any tears with her thumb. "She better not go too crazy with the surprise… but I'm sure I'll love it either way." Sakura said as she looked up towards the sky with joy. "I just hope Shina-chan doesn't stress himself out too much. Or get other people involved."

.

.

"No way." Arata said with a frown.

"Yeah. I learned my lesson from last time." Wasabi said with a frown and half-lidded, annoyed eyes.

"Please~, I just need your help in tracking her!" Shinachiku was begging with his hands together and bowing his head.

The blonde Uzumaki had went to look for his friends. Luckily, he found them all hanging in front of a convenience store where the guys and him usually get Extreme: Shinobi Picture Scrolls, or otherwise known by their much shorter name, Shinobi X Cards. The girls were just simply there to get sweets and snacks, mainly following Chocho's lead.

"Well, normally we would gladly help you, Shina-kun, but, um-"

"We're talking about your sister here." Shikadai finished for Denki, who chuckled nervously.

"She can be rather scary when she wants to be." Namida said with a worried frown.

"Plus, she's definitely just like that old saying after all." Inojin added with an uninterested frown and shrug.

"Yeah, yeah, clever like a fox. That's what everyone says about us, Uzumakis. Very funny." Shinachiku said with an annoyed frown and half-lidded eyes and his shoulders slumped, while Mamoru groaned with annoyance inside his head. "Come on, won't any of you help me?" Shinachiku pleaded.

"Sorry, man. There's troublesome, and then there's stupid. I'm not going for it." Shikadai said with a frown and his eyes closed.

"Count me out. I can still feel the sensation of my nose burning thinking about the last time I helped." Wasabi said with a frown.

"Although it pains me to refuse a handsome guy in need, I'm gonna have to say no. Sorry, Shina-chan." Chocho said as she resumed eating her consommé flavored chips.

"I don't understand. Is his little sister really this dangerous?" Tsubaki asked. Although she knows what Hanami is capable of when it comes to her incessant pranking, she is very much surprised that her friends would refuse to assist Shinachiku over this. Especially Arata.

"Trust me, you want no part in this." Iwabe said as he was opening a pack of newly purchased cards.

"Come on, Iwabe~. We're best buddies! Surely you would help your greatest pal in his time of need." Shinachiku said, putting on a smile as he appeared beside the taller kōdona genin (Advanced Low Ninja).

"No way, man. I like you, but not enough to put myself in her line of fire." Iwabe said as he took out his cards and looked them over, ignoring the sad aura around Shinachiku, who was hanging his head. "Dammit! Was hoping for a real good one! All I got from this is one of Metal's dad and Yamato-san." Iwabe said with annoyance.

"Hey, I could give you an entire collection of all the Five Kage! Just say the word and I'm willing to hand them out. If you help me that is." Shinachiku said with newly brightened and hopeful smile on his face.

"Are you actually bribing me?!" Iwabe questioned with shock.

"Man, you are desperate." Shikadai said, also shocked by the action.

"Please, I just need help finding her! After that, I can handle the rest! You don't need to get your hands dirty with this!" Shinachiku begged again with his hands together and bowing his head once more.

"M-Maybe we should help. Handling Hanami-chan can be more than one person can handle at times." Tsukia said, wanting to help Shinachiku with this.

"He is in desperate need." Metal added.

"I… don't think so. Even with the offer of cards of the Five Kage themselves, it still doesn't sound worth it." Iwabe said, feeling a little nervous about dealing with Hanami.

"Because it isn't." Hanami said as she walked out the store casually, causing everyone to jump in surprise, except for Arata, as usual.

"W-What are you doing here?!" Shinachiku asked his sister, only to notice a bunch of crafting material in her arms. "Wait, what are you doing with all of that?" He asked, pointing to the material with narrowed eyes.

Hanami stopped and turned her head towards her brother, giving him a toothy grin.

"Oh, you'll see in a couple of hours. Ja ne." Hanami then vanished from sight.

Everyone just stared at the spot she just was a moment ago.

"You see what I'm dealing with? She was too confident!" Shinachiku said, getting worried and nervous.

"Sorry, Shina. Really, I am, but I don't want to get in between your sister and her pranks." Wasabi said with a frown.

"Uh… actually it's not a prank." Shinachiku admitted, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Huh?" They all looked to him in surprise.

"Wait, seriously? Then what's got you so worried?!" Iwabe questioned, not finding any reason to fear the middle child of the Uzumakis now.

"It's a surprise. Like the kind my tou-chan does around this time of year." Shinachiku said with a frown and a hand on his hip.

"Ah. I see." Arata said, leaning against the wall with his eyes closed and hands in his pockets.

"So, wait… there's no prank involved? Like, at all?" Wasabi asked with wide eyes.

"Nope. She promised." Shinachiku answered.

"Well, now that makes me even more nervous." Namida said, now feeling even more unnerved of what's to come.

"If it is just a surprise, then shouldn't you support her? It seems she has no intent to do otherwise." Metal reasoned.

"Are you forgetting how she gets when she even has something that isn't a prank planned? The dumplings, the paint war, the onbaa-"

"That last one was a pain in the ass. Couldn't really handle them like we usually do with the Oni Zetsu." Iwabe said as he went back to scanning through his cards.

"They were cute for a while." Namida said with a frown as she remembered how dangerous those little critters got.

"Given this new information, I doubt she'd perform any sort of retaliation if we got involved." Arata said.

"Yeah, see?" Shinachiku said with a smile and point.

"That doesn't mean she'll make it easy for us though. She'll no doubt have tactics to get around us." Arata added.

"She is a wily one." Shikadai said with a frown.

"I suppose so long as she doesn't turn us into targets, it wouldn't hurt to assist." Denki said.

"So, you guys will help me?" Shinachiku asked with a hopeful smile and wide, pleading eyes as both hands were held together in prayer.

"Yeah, I guess." Wasabi said with a pout and scratching the back of her ear. "But you owe us for this!" Wasabi exclaimed, pointing to the sunshine blonde.

"Yeah! I want those Five Kage cards like you promised!" Iwabe agreed.

"Thank you all so much! You're the best friends ever~!" Shinachiku thanked them all as he was on his hands and knees bowing.

"You really are stressing over this a little too much." Arata said.

"The Hell You Say?!" Shinachiku shouted, surprised Arata would say this regarding Hanami.

Naruto was busy doing his paperwork with several clones to help cut the work down as much as he can.

A knock then came at the door to the office.

"Enter." Naruto said as then Shizune came into the office with a tower of paperwork in her possession.

"Have more for you, Rokudaime-sama." Shizune said as she made her way over towards the desk, only for Naruto's clones to take several stacks from the tower until she had none.

"Thanks, Shizune-onee-chan." Naruto said as one of his clones gave him a smaller stack of paperwork.

"By the way, I've been informed that the new department building has already been finished just like you asked." Shizune informed.

"Yes! Arigato, Shizune-onee-chan!" Naruto said with a grin, causing Shizune to raise an eyebrow.

"You know, you pressed for that construction to be finished by today. What's that about?" Shizune asked.

"Hmm? Oh, I just wanted to get it done as soon as possible is all. Less paperwork to handle." Naruto said with a calm smile.

"Funny, because now that it's finished this will lead to more paperwork." Shizune said with a frown and her hands on her hips. "What's this really about, Naruto-kun?" Shizune asked with narrowed eyes.

"Well, I'd tell ya, but it looks like your daughter has something for you." Naruto said as his eyes looked towards the window.

"Indeed, I do." Aiya said with a pair of eye smiles as she was at the office window.

"A-Aiya! What are you- How many times have I told you to use the door!" Shizune scolded her daughter.

"Sorry, kaa-chan. Just wanted to get this report in as soon as possible." Aiya said as she showed off a packed folder in her hand.

Shizune sighed as she walked over towards her silver-haired daughter and took the folder from her grasp.

"I'll go file these, Hokage-sama." Shizune said to Naruto.

"Arigato." Naruto thanked with a nod.

"I still have my suspicions over your sudden enthusiasm with the constructions completion though." Shizune said, causing Naruto to chuckle with a bit of a nervous grin. "Regardless, I have other work to attend to. So, I'll let it be. For now anyway." Shizune said as she headed for the door.

"Abayo, Shizune-onee-chan." Naruto said with a smile.

"Matane (See you soon), mama!" Aiya said, waving to her mother.

"Oh, I almost forgot. Congratulations on your anniversary today, Naruto-kun." Shizune said with a smile as she opened the office door.

"Arigato, Shizune-onee-chan." Naruto said with a bright grin.

Shizune gave one last smile before leaving the office.

"So, I take it this new department building is related to your latest surprise for your wife." Aiya said to the Hokage with a pair of eye smiles and resting her masked cheek onto her hand.

"Not my surprise." Naruto said with a shrug and smirk.

"Oh~." Aiya opened her eyes, now interested in this new development. "Let me guess, Hanami, right?" Aiya 'guessed'.

"Who's to say?" Naruto said, resting his cheek onto his fist.

"Like it could be anyone else." Aiya said. "So, what's she got planned."

"A surprise is not a surprise if someone knows, dattebayo." Naruto said with a nonchalant yet playful smile.

"Oh, come on~. You can trust me, Ojisan." Aiya said, wanting to know more. "You trust your favorite niece, don't you?" Aiya goaded.

"Of course! I'll always trust Tsukia with my life!" Naruto said with a bright smile.

"Very funny." Aiya said with a dull tone and resting her masked cheek back onto her hand. She suddenly felt a hand on her head.

"You really shouldn't bother the Hokage when he's supposed to be working, dear daughter." Kakashi said as he was behind Aiya with his hand atop her head. "And here I thought we taught you better than that."

"Hey, Kakashi-sensei. How was your mission?" Naruto greeted his sensei with a smile.

"Just fine. In fact, I have the report for it right here." Kakashi said as he showed off a thick folder in his hand. "Since I don't see your mother, why don't you go deliver it to her, Aiya-chan?" Kakashi said as he handed the documents to his daughter making her sigh.

"Just got back into the village and you're already asking your daughter to do your own errands. How thoughtless you can be to your own. Boo-hoo." Aiya teased, wiping away an imaginary tear, but still took the folder from her father's grasp. "If you need me, I will be going straight into my loving mother's open arms." Aiya said before she vanished.

"Daughters." Kakashi said to Naruto with a nonchalant tone.

"I hear ya." Naruto agreed with a smile and nod.

.

.

"Well, we're finally done." A construction worker said as he and his crew finished painting a newly built building. It was large and right at the heart of the village for everyone to see.

"I'm surprised the Hokage wanted this done so quickly." A male worker said.

"I'm just confused on why he wanted us to paint it white though." Another male worker said in confusion.

"Eh. Why question it? We've already been paid." A female worker said.

"Yeah. Now let's go get something to eat!" A male worker said, with everyone in agreement.

After they left, Hanami came walking with her hands behind her head. She stopped and turned towards the wall, holding her chin while her other hand was on her hip.

"Mm hmm." Hanami had a wide smile on her face as she tilted her head to the side. She then took out a spray can and shook it.

.

.

High above the village a large multi-colored bird flew over it, carrying Inojin on its back.

"I still doubt we're going to actually succeed here." Inojin said, pressing his finger against his ear where a communications device resided.

"You're not the only one." Wasabi's voice was heard from the device.

"Focus. Knowing my sister, she'll try using some sort of diversion. No doubt with clones." Shinachiku's voice was heard.

"Then how are we going to find her?! Not even Arata can tell clones apart from the original!" Inojin argued.

"Still, from his vantage point from above he can spot Hanami's chakra signature with his dōjutsu." Chocho said through her device. "Especially with Konkon's chakra put into the mix, I'm sure it's not that hard to tell where she'll be."

"Your Chō Yōkai Giga: Tenome (Super Strange Apparition Imitating Drawing: Hand Eyes) will also be a big help here too, Inojin." Shikadai added.

"Yeah, yeah. Still though, I don't see how we'll be able to catch her. The girl always feels one step ahead of us." Inojin said with a frown. "Damn you, Shina. You just had to teach her the Hiraishin." He mumbled.

"Sorry. I didn't expect her to be better at it than me." Shinachiku responded with a sense of disappointment. He was hoping she wouldn't have used it for pranking purposes. He was a fool for hoping on that occasion.

Up above the sky as well a good distance from Inojin was Arata, atop of a large hawk, with his eyes closed and arms crossed.

"Tōmeigan!" (Transparent Eye) Arata announced as he opened his eyes to reveal his grey eyes transformed into completely white eyes with three tomoe and the veins on the outer sides of his eyes were bulging. As he looked down towards the village, he saw a vast array of colors. Every figure he saw within the village had specific colors to them. Some had a single color, other had two and a select few had three to them. He could see everything inside and out, black and white and everything in between. "I'll notify everyone the moment I see her. Luckily, it won't be that difficult thanks to Konkon's specific chakra signature." Arata informed.

"I'll sniff her out." Wasabi said as she traveled from roof top to roof top. "You owe me big time if she screws up my sniffer again, Shina." Wasabi said through her device.

"I'm going to try tracking her with my echolocation. Luckily, I remember her size and pattern of walking, so it'll be easy to find near her usual spots." Namida said as she was making her way towards a district of town that sold arts and crafts.

"Check for anything underground if you can. Tou-chan used to have a network of tunnels underneath Konoha. It's how he pulled some of his bigger pranks and managed to make a quick getaway from even the ANBU." Shinachiku said before he flitted away and appeared in another area of the village by a costume shop. "She uses them sometimes to fool us when we expect her to flash away with the Hiraishin no Jutsu." (Flying Thunder God Technique)

"I'll keep a look out for her through the village's surveillance system." Denki said as he examined the streets of the village with his laptop.

"Isn't that sort of illegal?" Namida asked making Denki nervously chuckle with a sweat drop.

"We're trying to stop a girl from causing unintentionally mayhem. I think it's allowed." Iwabe said as he stood up atop of a high pole using a pair of binoculars for scouting.

"Speaking of which, I found her." Arata said through the device, alerting everyone.

"Where?" Shinachiku quickly asked.

"At a party shop by the artisan district." Arata informed.

"Alright! Arigato, Arata!" Shinachiku thanked his friend with a smile.

"Hold up! I just caught her scent!" Wasabi spoke up.

"Right, artisan district. We heard." Iwabe said through his device.

"No, that's not it." Wasabi said as she sniffed the air some more. "I smell her near one of the shopping districts."

"Nani?!" Shinachiku questioned with surprise.

Coming out of a wall near the shopping district was a black hand made of ink with a painted eyeball on the palm of its hand. It directed its gaze towards Hanami coming out of a shop where she got bottles of water and food coloring.

"Yeah, it's her. She just came out of a convenience store." Inojin said as he made a ram seal and had an eye closed.

"Uh, guys. I see her by the ironworks." Iwabe informed, shocking everyone.

"Wait, seriously?!" Shinachiku questioned with shock.

"Yeah, she just got a bunch of scrap and tools." Iwabe informed as he used his binoculars to watch Hanami run off with a box full of metal components.

Denki checked through the surveillance system to check the three locations Hanami was at, to see her in all three.

"Yup. She's using clones." Denki informed.

"Dammit." Shinachiku said with a frown before he made a cross hand seal, creating thirty clones. "Not going to take any chances here. I'm going to check as many hotspots as possible." Shinachiku informed.

"Roger." Denki said through his device before all the Shinachikus flitted away.

"I'm seeing several more pop up throughout the village." Arata informed as his eyes scanned throughout the village.

Namida focused chakra into her lungs as her chest puffed up a bit.

"Ekō Sokui no Justu!" (Sound Positioning Technique) Namida called out as she unleashed a wave of sound that hit the ground, which travelled throughout a vast area thanks to the amount of chakra she pumped into her jutsu. She gasped when she sensed something. "There's like twenty of her! Twelve above ground, eight within the tunnels." Namida informed.

"Dammit, should have known! I'm having some of my clones go into the tunnels!" Shinachiku said through his device.

"I'll come assist if need be!" Metal said as he hurried along down a road, only to stop when he saw a Hanami walk down an alleyway with a box fully of streamers, where she met another Hanami and handed her a scroll from within the box, then it vanished to be replaced with a three-pronged kunai with pink paper wrapped around the hilt with a sealing formula written on it. "What the-?"

"Onii-san!" Metal turned his head to see a pair of young academy students run over towards him.

One was a girl with indigo hair with short bangs in the front and long and curled bangs dangling freely on each side. Her hair is tied in round ponytails on each side, and she has royal blue eyes. She wears a white kimono that is tied with a grey obi and a crimson cord and wears blue shorts and blue shinobi sandals.

The other was a boy with black hair that is swept to the right side and brown eyes. He wears a green jacket with a grey stripe near the zipper, a black scarf, and grey pants. His shinobi sandals are brown and open toed.

These two were Yuina Itomaki and Ehō Norimaki.

"We need help!" Ehō said with much gusto.

"Huh?" Metal looked a little confused and nervous.

"There's a cat stuck in a very high tree, and we need you to help it." Yuina said.

"Um, well-"

"We can't jump as high as you yet! We need your help, now!" Ehō said as he grabbed Metal's arm and started dragging him away.

"C-C-Chottomatteo!" Metal exclaimed as Ehō pulled him away with Yuina hurrying beside him.

"He's by Senju Park. He's really crying up a storm." Yuina said.

"I-I suppose, no, the right thing indeed is to help this innocent feline!" Metal said with a serious expression before pressing his finger against his ear device. "Suman, everyone! I need to make a detour and assist an innocent cat, but I did see something strange between two Hanami clones in an alley."

"How strange?" Shinachiku asked through his device.

"I can't believe I actually agreed to trick Bosu (Boss) and the others." Ehō muttered with a frown. "Why did I do this again?"

"Because you like Hanami-chan a lot and she is our friend." Yuina whispered with a smile.

"I don't like her that much." Ehō whispered with a pout.

"But you do have a crush on her." Yuina said with a small teasing smile and eye smiles.

"No I don't!" Ehō argued with an embarrassed anime expression and red blush on his cheeks.

"What was that?" Metal asked with confusion.

"I-I don't think we're that far now! We should hurry it up!" Ehō quickly said as they all picked up the pace. 'Dammit, Hanami! Why did you have to make me choose between you and Shinachiku-onii-chan?!' Ehō mentally berated with a gritted teeth frown.

.

.

Hanami hummed as she opened more and more scrolls that were appearing on a pink sealing formula in the shape of a ring that she made with her spray paint earlier, causing smoke to poof out and soon reveal different kinds of paint cans. She grinned as she took out a kunai and used it to pop one open. Taking a paint brush, she dabbed it into some yellow paint, stood up and faced the white wall before her.

"Mm hmm."

.

.

"An exchange between scrolls?" Tsukia questioned with surprise and confusion. 'What is she planning? These clones are clearly used for a diversion, but a diversion for what?' Tsukia wondered to herself.

"Hey, Tsukia-chan." A feminine voice greeted her, making her look up to see a redheaded woman wearing glasses.

"Karin-obasan. Kon'nichiwa!" Tsukia greeted her aunt with a polite bow.

"What are you up to?" Karin greeted her niece with a smile.

"I'm looking for Hanami-chan." Tsukia answered.

"What's she up to this time?" Karin asked with a small frown.

"That's what we are all trying to find out."

"Don't tell me. Shinachiku got you all involved in stopping her before she does something stupid again." Karin said, pinching the bridge of her nose with her eyes closed.

"It's not a prank though. She promised that." Tsukia said.

"Huh. You know, Kaida did complain to me today about her doing something really stupid today." Karin said, causing Tsukia to perk up. "She did say it wasn't her usual brand of stupidity, but stupid all the same. I just brushed it off, because that's usually how she responds to Hanami's actions."

"Did she say anything about it? Like where she could have gone?" Tsukia asked.

"Yeah. She said she noticed Hanami and her clones running into the forest with boxes full of supplies in their arms by where she usually likes to train in solitude. Don't know much else than that. You know, Kaida-chan. She doesn't like to get involved in anything that doesn't involve training or anything that guarantees physical growth, after all." Karin informed her niece.

"Arigato, Obasan!" Tsukia thanked the redhead with a bow as she hurried off towards the forest. "Everyone, I believe I have a lead!" Tsukia informed to everyone on her listening device as she hopped away.

Karin sighed with a deep frown as she recalled what happened earlier.

.

.

"You want me to what?" Karin questioned with a raised eyebrow and her hands on her hips.

"Just tell them about a false lead into the forest where Kaida usually trains. It'll really help me out, dattebara." Hanami said with her hands behind her head. "Use her as an eyewitness. That way it'll be more believable."

"You want me to use my precious Kaida-chan as a tool for your game of manipulation?! No Way!" Karin exclaimed with an annoyed expression.

"Please~, Obasan~!" Hanami begged with her hands together.

"No." Karin said, turning her head away with her bottom lip out and her arms crossed.

"Please!" Hanami ran over and hugged Karin's leg, surprising the older Uzumaki. "This is really important! This isn't some normal prank of mine! It's a huge gesture! A big thank you to my whole family and I need your help! I know people always think I'm up to something that causes crazy things to happen!"

"The dumplings, the glitter paint, the firework fountains, the Kaminarimon transit surprise." Karin listed several ones off the top of her head, using her fingers to count them.

"But this is different! Really it is, but everyone is going to be on my ass! They'll ruin everything! I need your help!" Hanami said, looking up to Karin, practically begging.

"I don't-"

"Please~, Obasan~. We're family." Hanami said with wide, hopeful eyes.

'Damn her. Pulling the family card on me. How low.' Karin thought with a pout as her eyes looked to the side. The moment her eyes looked back down to Hanami, she regretted it as she saw the girl putting on a sad pout and puppy dog eyes that were teary. Karin groaned as she looked to the side with a gritted teeth frown. She tried to resist, but the moment Hanami let out a sad whine, her heart finally cracked. "Alright, fine! But if anyone finds out, I'll say you tricked me!" Karin exclaimed with an annoyed anime expression.

"Great!" Hanami cheered with a hop and her fist thrust into the air. "I love you, Obasan." Hanami said as she hugged Karin's leg again with a happy smile on her face.

"Yeah, yeah, now get lost." Karin said, looking to the side as she gestured for Hanami to 'shoo' away.

"I'm counting on ya!" Hanami exclaimed with a grin as she ran off and gave Karin a goodbye wave before leaping away.

Karin sighed as she crossed her arms.

"Damn that girl." Karin said with a frown.

.

.

'Gomen, Tsukia-chan! Forgive your foolish aunt for tricking you! And Kaida-chan! Please do not hate me for using you as a false witness! I promise I'll make it up to you both! I swear it!' Karin mentally cried out as she had anime tears and gritted her teeth into a frown with her hands clasped together, begging for forgiveness.

.

.

Hanami hummed as she started pouring some yellow and red paint into an empty can and used a stick to twirl them together to make orange. She hummed a jaunty tune while moving her head side-to-side as she continued mixing the paints together.

The once white wall she was in front of now had various colors painted throughout a portion of it.

.

.

Shinachiku had met Tsukia at the forest with Chocho.

"So, Karin-Obasan said that Kaida saw Hanami travel here with her clones with a box of material? Are you sure?" Shinachiku asked.

"That is what she said." Tsukia said with a nod.

"What? You don't trust Karin-san's words?" Chocho asked with a raised eyebrow.

"It's just… something doesn't feel quite right about this." Shinachiku said, looking to the side with narrowed eyes. "Metal saw a pair of clones exchange a scroll and he said one of them used Hanami's Hiraishin Switcheroo (Flying Thunder God Switcheroo). If they all already were preparing for something beforehand in the forest, why the hell would they try something so last minute like this." Shinachiku said, rubbing his chin in thought.

"Maybe you're being a little too jumpy." Chocho suggested with a shrug, only to get a pair of looks from both Shinachiku and Tsukia. "Okay, yeah, regarding who it is, that was pretty dumb to think." Chocho said with her hands raised up in defeat.

"Hold it!" Tsukia stopped the pair with her arms extended in front of them. She knelt and pointed to a wire in front of them.

"A wire?" Chocho questioned with a raised eyebrow.

"A trap." Shinachiku narrowed his eyes.

Their instincts kicked in, as they hopped away from a kunai that stabbing into the ground, cutting the wire in the process.

"What the heck?!" Chocho exclaimed with shock, before they all heard cackling, making them look up to see Hanami laughing at them before leaping away.

"Dammit! We've been had!" Shinachiku said with annoyance. "Either Karin-san was tricked too or she's in on it."

"Obasan lied to me? But why?!" Tsukia held her cheeks as she had a look of shock on her face, with a hint of despair, as she couldn't believe her aunt would lie to her face like that.

They all suddenly heard the sounds sort of whistle.

"What is that?" Chocho questioned as they all turned towards where the sound was to see something rocketing into the air. "What in the-"

"Guys! There's some sort of projectiles flying into the air over the village!" Inojin through their device.

"Dammit! Can you see what it is?" Shinachiku asked.

"They seem to be some sort of fireworks display." Arata responded.

Within the village, everyone looked up to see some sort of objects rocketing overhead.

The unleashed audible booms that unleashed streamers and flower petals that rained upon the village.

"What the hell?" A male villager questioned. "Flower petals?"

"Streamers?" A female villager said as she brought a hand up as pink streamers fell into the palm of her hand.

"Make Some Noise!" A voice screamed out, making everyone look up to see several clones of Hanami atop rooftops with some having pipes and others having wood in their hands. They all had sealing formulas wrapped around them as they slammed them together, causing sounds to echo far, causing people to cover their ears as they slammed them together in a sort of rhythm.

Suddenly everyone started hearing drums as throughout the village, Hanami clones were slamming large drums with thick sticks, causing them to echo throughout the village.

"What is that girl doing now?!" A village shouted out.

Walking down the street were Shikamaru and Choji, with the latter having a bag of citrus seaweed tempura potato chips in hand, stopped and looked up as they heard the sounds echoing throughout their village.

"And so it begins." Shikamaru said with his hands in his pockets. Choji offered his best friend some chips, which he accepted.

Metal had saved the cat that Yuina and Ehō had told him about. He landed upon the ground and handed the feline into Yuina's arms.

"Suman, but I must hurry out." Metal said as he hurried off to assist his friends with the original mission.

"You think she won't go too far?" Yuina asked.

"Well, it is Hanami we're talking about." Ehō said.

"Maybe since she said it won't be a prank, then it won't be messy." Yuina said with a sense of hope, but then they noticed streamers and cherry blossom petals rain from above.

"Nope." Ehō answered.

.

.

Hanami's clones cackled as they took out several large tubes with triggers on them.

"Celebrate!" A Hanami clone exclaimed as they all fire confetti, streamers and petals throughout the village.

"Hold it!" Some of them turned to see Iwabe and Tsubaki rushing over, only for him to slip on something slick.

"What is this?!" Tsubaki questioned as she traced her fingers over her white robe. "Cooking oil?"

"Nice try, slowpokes!" One of the clones called out as they hopped down and ran off while firing more ammo around the streets.

The clones suddenly stopped in place. They all looked confused, as they looked down to their feet to see their shadows were grabbed by other shadows.

"Kagemane no Jutsu (Shadow Imitation Technique), Success!" Shikadai said as he used his shadow to grab the clones. "Where's the real one?" Shikadai asked.

"Why ask when you know you won't get any answers?" One of the clones said with a smirk before they flitted away, replaced by a ball with a fuse. The rest of the clones followed suit.

"Oh, damn." Shikadai said with wide eyes as the balls then burst to let out pink confetti.

More Hanami clones ran throughout the village, slamming their pipes and wood together, while laughing with grins. They suddenly were struck by seal tags, except for one, who was saved from being paralyzed like the rest.

"Gotcha!" Wasabi landed and grabbed the remaining clone. "Now where's the real you?" Wasabi questioned.

"You didn't say please." The clone said with a grin as she flitted away and was replaced with an overfilled bag that popped in Wasabi's grasp, making her yell out with annoyance as she was drenched in some sort of red liquid.

"What is this?!" Wasabi questioned as she sniffed her arm. "Meat sauce?" Wasabi questioned. She suddenly heard barking behind her, making her turn to see several dogs on a leash held by another Hanami.

"Go get the kitty, boys!" Clone Hanami said with a grin as she released her hold on the leashes, allowing the dogs to charge at the drenched Wasabi, making the cat enthusiast scream in fear.

"Shina, You Bastard! You Owe Me Big Time!" Wasabi screamed out as she ran off on all fours before leaping towards the roofs to get to high ground.

"She's everywhere! Not one area doesn't have a Hanami causing a ruckus!" Denki said as he scanned throughout the villages surveillance system, seeing all the Hanami clones making noise and firing confetti as the village was being covered in confetti, streamers and flower petals.

"Son of a…" Shinachiku gritted his teeth as he, Tsukia and Chocho made it back into the village to see it being covered with Hanamis who were laughing while making noise with their tools and firing out confetti, streamers and cherry blossom petals with more raining down upon the village. "That's It!" Shinachiku shouted as his body was engulfed in golden flames, revealing him to be in a form similar to his father's original Kyūbi Chakura Mōdo (Nine-Tails Chakra Mode) as he then made a cross hand seal. "Tajū Kage Bunshin no Jutsu!" (Multiple Shadow Clone Technique) Shinachiku shouted out as fifty clones of Shinachiku appeared. "Spread Out!" The original ordered as they all leaped away in different directions.

"Yup. Things have gotten out of hand." Chocho said with a frown.

"As Aniki (Big Brother) would say: Yare yare." Tsukia said with a frown.

"Get back here, Hanami!" One of the clones shouted as he sped towards a group of Hanami clones, knocking them over, and making them go poof.

"Oh, so we're playing that sort of game, huh?" One of the Hanami clones said with a grin as suddenly they all transformed into a pink version of their brother chakra cloak.

"Can't Catch Me!" The Hanamis shouted as they vanished in flashes of pink.

"Dammit!" The Shinachiku clones shouted with annoyance.

Meanwhile, as this chaos was going on, the real Hanami was having a ramen break in front. She sat on a small box, humming as she then slurped up some noodles. The wall that was once white had more than half of it covered in various colors, being made into part of a picture.

.

Sakura was in the middle of her paperwork. After a while, she placed her pen down and sighed as she sat back in her seat. She took an inhale through her nose to calm herself as she spun in her seat, now looking out the window, only to see confetti, streamers and cherry blossom petals falling from the sky.

Sakura had a deep frown with dull eyes as she exhaled through her nose. She got up from her seat and made a cross hand seal, creating three clones in the process.

"Handle this mess while I handle that one." Sakura said gesturing to the paperwork first then what was going on outside the window, earning nods from her clones.

She marched out of her office room and then marched down the halls, scaring nearby nurses and doctors who stood out of her way as she made her way outside of the hospital.

Sakura raised her hand up as some confetti and cherry blossom petals fell onto her hand.

"Well, I did say I'd scold her once the pieces fell. Didn't expect it to be quite literal." Sakura said as she pulled off some streamers that landed atop of her hair. "Should have though." Sakura said as she marched away.

.

.

Naruto was watching the chaos unfold from within his office with Kakashi, Shizune and Aiya watching the whole thing unfold.

"Like daughter, like father." Kakashi said.

"That happens way too often for my liking sometimes." Shizune said with a tired frown and her shoulder slumped.

"So, this is her surprise?" Aiya asked the Hokage.

"Nope. This is just to buy time." Naruto said with a smile, surprising the Hatake family.

.

.

Tsunade was walking through the village with Arashi by her side, who was eating a bag full of strawberry gummies. The blonde of the two smiled as she took some confetti and cherry blossom petals into her hand.

"Told you so." Arashi said as he continued to enjoy his gummies.

"Yup. She's just way too ahead of the game." Tsunade said with an amused smile.

"Tsunade-Sobo-chan!" They turned to see Shinachiku, covered in a golden chakra cloak running over towards them. "Have you by any chance seen the original Hanami?" Shinachiku asked his grandmother figure.

"Sorry to say, haven't seen her all day." Tsunade answered. "So, she's pushed you to use your Chakra Mode, eh?"

"She's gone nuts!" Shinachiku exclaimed. When he looked down towards his brother, he got an idea. "Wait, Arashi, maybe you can help me find her. You can summon ninken (ninja dogs) who can help us cover ground."

"Sorry. I'm not going to make them suffer like that." Arashi said.

"Oh, come on!" Shinachiku exclaimed with a frown.

"Okay, where is she?!" They turned to see Sakura marching over.

"K-Kaa-chan! I'm sorry! I tried my best!" Shinachiku apologized with a frown.

"Don't worry. That girl has a way of outmaneuvering people. Even her own family." Sakura said with a frown.

"Shina, come in." Arata spoke into the communications device.

"Talk to me." Shinachiku responded.

"I noticed something strange."

"Stranger than all this?" Shinachiku questioned, looking towards the still raining confetti, streamers and petals.

"Hanami clones are running all throughout the village. This we've all noticed. However, there is just one by herself in a separate area of the village." Arata informed.

"By herself? No others? That has to be the real one!" Shinachiku said in realization. "Where is she?"

"Right at the heart of the village. She's in front of what looks to be a newly built structure." Arata said.

"A newly built building by the heart of the village?" Shinachiku questioned. "Wait a minute, wasn't tou-chan focusing on building a new department building for information there?" Shinachiku asked his mother, causing her eyes to widen in realization.

"THAT BAKA! I Knew He Was In On This!" Sakura said with a look of anger. "Come on, we're putting an end to this!" Sakura said to her son as she marched away with him following.

Suddenly the loud sounds of drums and things hitting together stopped, causing the mother and son to stop in place.

"The noise… it's gone." Shinachiku said with surprise.

Sakura looked up to notice that it stopped raining confetti, streamers and Sakura petals.

"It stopped 'raining' too." Sakura said with surprise.

They all didn't move as the village was silent once more.

"Okay… now I'm scared." Arashi said.

"You and me both." Shinachiku said, looking around with worry.

"Shina, I can't find anymore of Hanami's clones anywhere." Iwabe informed.

"Same here." Shikadai spoke as well.

"They all just vanished." Inojin shared still flying high above. "Wait, I see something!" Inojin said, causing Shinachiku to flinch with worry.

Suddenly the sounds of whistling were heard as firework started appearing above, all originating from the heart of the village.

"Come one, come all! See such a sight that will melt your heart hotter than anything the old Mizukage, Mei, could throw your way! And any Yōton (Lava Release) jutsu she has in her arsenal! Ha, Ha!" Hanami's voice echoed throughout the village's P.A. System.

Sakura sighed as she held her forehead.

"Well… let's go see what she's done this time." Sakura said with a frown as she, Shinachiku, Tsunade and Arashi headed for the heart of the village, with Shina turning off his Chakra Cloak.

Hanami, now covered with blotches of paint here and there, dusted her hands as she stared at her job well done. She then felt a hand on her head, making her look up to see her father smiling down at her.

"Nice work, my Chīsana Hana." (Little Flower) Naruto said with a proud smile.

"Arigato, Papa!" Hanami said with a grin and thumbs up.

People started showing up and were amazed by what they saw. What they all expected was a mess of a prank, but what they saw was something that warmed their hearts.

"Huh. No wonder the Hokage wanted us to finish this by the morning." One of the workers from earlier said.

"Move aside, please." Sakura said as she marched through the crowd. "Okay, what in the hell did…" Sakura was ready to scold and lecture her daughter, but the moment she saw what she did, she stopped and stared in awe. "Oh my God…" Sakura said with tears in her eyes.

There painted on the mural. A gorgeous one.

On the left were painting of Naruto and Sakura together back when they were nineteen when Naruto had an orange and black track jacket with the black at the upper part of the torso and down the top of the sleeves with the rest being orange, except for a white line down the zipper and in the interior with white Uzumaki symbols on the sides of the biceps, along with a red Uzumaki insignia on the back, and Sakura had her red sleeveless vest with it zipped down a bit to reveal her mesh sleeveless vest underneath, along with black lining horizontally across the chest and a choker around her neck. This was back when she had longer hair that stopped at her upper back.

Beside them at the end of the wall were pictures of Naruto's parents and Jiraiya surrounded by light, signifying their passing, and on their other side where the painting continued were Sakura's parents and Tsunade, not surrounded by light. Continuing on were pictures of their friends at nineteen as well, starting with Sasuke and Hinata, with a portrait of Neji above them surrounded by light.

At the end of their friends was Naruto, covered in the marking of the Byakugō no In (Strength of a Hundred Seal), facing a man with dark spiky hair and garbed in reds and black with a flowing red cape and black flames surrounding him. Then it was a picture of Naruto and Sasuke facing off against Toneri in his green flaming chakra cloak with a larger picture of Sakura and Hinata, both surrounded in the Byakugō no In's marking, striking and shattering an orb with their respective taijutsu attacks. Followed by that was a picture of Team 7 facing off against what looked to be a white and livelier version of the Gedō Mazō that was fused together with the moon, and Naruto was in a chakra cloak of white flames with ten-tails coming from his being.

After that portrait was Naruto and Sakura, as they are now, holding hands with three lines of green, hot pink and red coming down from them where pictures of Shinachiku, grinning and looking ready for battle with his fist revved back, Hanami, who was grinning widely with a peace sign up, and Arashi, who was smiling and holding a large scroll.

Around Naruto and Sakura's portrait were their friends as they are now, and around Shinachiku were the friends he made (Arata, Tsukia, Iwabe, Denki, Metal, Shikadai, Inojin, Chocho, Wasabi, Namida, Sumire and Tsubaki), Hanami's friends around her (Kaida, Inori, Ehō, Yuina and a few others), and surrounding Arashi were his friends, along with summoning animals. Everyone's clan symbols were also scattered around it.

The mural covered the entire wall of the new building and it captivated everyone.

The rest of Hanami's family walked over with Sakura having her hands over her mouth as she started shedding tears of pure joy.

"I thought that you wanted something not too crazy, so I decided on this." Hanami said to her mother with a bright smile.

"Then why did you do all of what you did before?" Shinachiku questioned.

"Duh. To keep you guys off of me so I could finish this. I know my reputation. You guys would have found this out soon enough, and what's the point of a surprise if someone knows before it's revealed. I learned my lesson with Inori." Hanami explained. She then walked over and hugged her mother's leg. "Kinenbi Omedetō, Kaa-chan!" Hanami said with a bright smile, causing her mother to shed more tears as her smile widened.

"And Otanjōbiomedetō, Hanami." Sakura said as she knelt down and hugged her daughter tightly. "My greatest anniversary gift." Sakura added, making her daughter's smile widen.

"Whoa." Iwabe and rest of Shinachiku's friends showed up. "And we were trying to stop this?"

"No wonder she did all she could to hinder us." Tsubaki said.

"I had a feeling that was it." Arata said.

"WHY DIDN'T YOU SPEAK UP!" The others yelled at him.

"Hn." Arata just shrugged.

"Good job, Hanami-chan." Tsunade said with a smile as she ruffled the young pinkette's hair.

"Thanks, O bāchan!" Hanami thanked her grandmother figure.

"It looks so nice." Ino said as she and the rest of her family showed up, stopping beside Naruto. "By the way, I fixed up all the plants in Senju Park to bloom pink, orange, green, maroon and red colored flowers. You owe me a lot for that." Ino whispered to Naruto.

"Arigato, Ino." Naruto thanked his fellow blonde with a smile.

"It's not half-bad." Inori said with a smile as she walked over.

"Not half-bad? It's the greatest thing this village has ever seen, dattebara!" Hanami cheered as she walked over and stood beside Inori.

"I guess… still though. Not how I would have painted it." Inori said with her arms crossed.

"… What are you saying?" Hanami asked, narrowing her eyes at Inori.

"It's just you could have aligned this better." Inori said, pointing towards the middle battle portrait.

"The aligning rocks! You just don't know what you're talking about!" Hanami argued with an annoyed expression.

"Excuse Me?!" Inori shouted back with an equally annoyed expression.

"Oh, crap." Shinachiku said with a frown and half-lidded eyes.

"There they go again." Inojin said with a dull smile and half-lidded eyes.

"I could have painted this way better than you, Tanku Atama!" (Tank Head) Inori yelled with a pissed anime expression.

"Oh Yeah?! Prove It, Inku Nō!" (Ink Brain) Hanami screamed out with a pissed anime expression. "First person who makes a badass portrait on the Hokage Monument wins!" Hanami shouted out.

"Deal!" Inori shouted as they ran off.

"Wait, No! Hanami!" Sakura ran off after her daughter.

"Inori, Don't You Dare!" Ino called out as she also ran after her own.

Everyone laughed as they watched the mothers run off after their daughters.

"Do we have to give chase?" Shinachiku asked his father.

"Nah. Let them handle it." Naruto said with a smile as he fished out a stack of ryo from his pocket. "Here. Looks like you and your friends have been through enough for today. Go have some lunch, on me." Naruto said with a smile.

"Awesome! Arigato, tou-chan!" Shinachiku said with a happy grin as he took the cash offered to him by his father. "Hey guys, check it out! Let's go out for some ramen!" Shinachiku declared with a big ol' Uzumaki grin, but the money was then swiped by Wasabi.

"Screw that, you us a bath!" Wasabi shouted with annoyance.

"I agree." Tsubaki said with a frown as she hated being covered in cooking oil.

"I'm not really dirty, but a nice hot bath at the onsen sounds lovely." Namida said with a smile.

"Now you're talking. I am dying to go there right now. Beauty like this isn't kept by healthy meals and a full-night's sleep after all." Chocho said with a smile as she flipped her hair with her hand.

"To the bath house!" Iwabe declared as they all turned and walked away.

"I still need a new attire." Tsubaki said.

"Just have Shina get us some new clothes with his clones." Shikadai said, flicking off some glitter off of his jacket.

"Agreed. After all, it's the least that he owes us." Wasabi said with a wide smile and her head held high.

"Mm hmm." Everyone agreed with a smile while Shinachiku groaned with his shoulders slumped.

"Wait up." Shinachiku said as he hurried after his friends.

Naruto couldn't help but smile as he saw images of himself and his friends as he watched his son and his own friends head towards the bath house.

"Speaking of tidying up, despite doing a good job keeping everyone off her tail, Hanami did leave quite the mess for you to clean up. That is the job of a father after all. To clean their own child's messes." Sai said with a mock smile.

"Sai, why do you always got to dampen my mood?" Naruto said with a frown.

"It's called being realistic, dickless." Sai teased.

"Oi!" Naruto shouted with a pissed anime expression.

To say the rest of the day was uneventful would be a lie. Between the father-daughter duo, this became another day to remember for the record books in Konohagakure. As both an anniversary and a birthday, today was a glorious day, and although it was a little messy and some people got caught in the crossfire, nobody truly had anything to complain about. Nor did they have to.

So long as the Uzumaki clan were around, Konoha would never suffer from the hands of darkness and from the boredom of day-to-day life. What was once a name of infamy was now a name that brought hope and joy.

This day signified love. Not just between man and woman. Not just between family. But love for the name that brought hope.

Uzumaki.

A name that will forever be celebrated. Especially on this blessed day.

End of Chapter 2

Boy, was this one fun to write. A bit annoying too since Sakura and Hanami's birthdays are so close together. They're just six days apart. Either way, it was still so much fun! This is what I see Hanami as! A little mad genius but has a heart of gold just like her own father, but still has her mischievous streak.

Anyway, luckily by the time I post this it'll still be April 3rd, so, I still made the deadline! Yeah~!

To be honest, I would have posted this earlier, but work had me for seven hours, today of all days! What bad luck. Oh well, everything happens for a reason.

Now, I bet everyone is thinking, what is up with those battle portions in the mural Hanami made. Well, let's just say in this world, Naruto's last adventures before he became Hokage didn't just end in the war or against Toneri. There's more to it and I'll just wait and see on the feedback of this story and 'We'll Get Home, I Promise' before I decide to explore that more.

Speaking of that mural, I honestly have been thinking about it long before I came up with this story. Every time I listen to TOPHAMHAT-KYO's Frisky Flowery Friday I picture Hanami painting the wall with focus on the paint cans at first, then her painting colors upon the wall with smooth, long brush strokes representing everyone's colors before mixing them together halfway through with the last thing being mixed was actually her ramen she's having during her break, before finishing the mural with everyone there to see it. Listen to me, making my own personal anime ending sequence. I guess I just have that much fun with this universe and stories I can weave with it.

Regardless, I hope you all enjoyed this one! By the time I post this it'll a little over an hour before NaruSaku Day is over, but whatever. You got all of April to enjoy this and you can always come back and read this the next April 3rd, and so on! However, since the day isn't over just yet, I'm gonna say it!

Happy NaruSaku Day Everybody And Thank You!

Takeshi1225, Out!
