They would all spend Christmas Eve together as a family, then Bonnie caught a late flight to Chicago and Nick and Jess took a road trip back to their home to spend time together as a couple, then dinner with Schmidt, Cece, Winston and Aly.

Jess was just lonely, and she needed someone to hold her. That doesn't mean they are getting back together.

A bit of fun inspired by the spoilers/description of upcoming New Girl episode "Helmet," in which we learn that Jess tells Cece she's had a naughty dream...one-shot!

Jess is having a hard time dealing with the fact that she quit her job and Nick is there to comfort her. Things escalate and they find themselves wondering what their relationship is.

My take on Season 2 Episode 10: Jess locks herself in her closet in an attempt to help out Winston and prove she's claustrophobic, but when the door ends up getting stuck- everyone panics. Winston runs to get help, but is leaving Jess really the best idea? Slight AU, purely a friendship fiction, although romance could be interpreted. Rated K for minor language, and heavier themes.

It didn't matter if they were cute, funny, smart, or rich…in the end, they just weren't him. After all, a wise woman did once say that he was exactly what she needed. Or, what has evolved as a story about Schmidt and Cece's lives from reunion to children...and all the little moments in between.

"It's ok, honey", he says then, and he feels like crap, because they both want a baby so much and he hates to see her like this. "I promise you it will happen soon."

"Listen. I know this is kind of dumb to say but I really like being your friend"...Cece & Schmidt are spending separate holidays in The Big Apple. But after boredom sets in they decide to spend some time together to work on their new friendship. Set after season 4's LAXmas.

"What are you two? Are you, like, friends with benefits? Are you getting back together? Are you back together already?"

Nick and Jess plus their newborn baby equals Nick and Jess plus no sex. But that is (probably) about to change.

Sequel to The Basketcase. Nick, Jess and the rest of the group are heading off to college, and Nick fears the worst for his relationship. But 2000 miles isn't that far...is it?
