This is an AU story set before the vampires come out of the coffin. Sookie is an almost 1000 year old vampire who has problems with authority. When she comes to Dallas, Texas however and meets the sheriff Godric things don't go as planned. Getting involved with a sheriff is much more complicated then Sookie realizes. Rated M for a reason.
