I got nothin to say except depression's a bitch. Especially during this covid stuff. Easily sleeping 12+ hours, lying in bed for another 3-4 and barely eating. I'm sorry if it affects my writing at all, but this is one of the only things that still keeps me happy.

Shadow walked back to Freddy snickering. The bear tilted his head curiously at her.

"What has you so amused Shadow?"

Shadow grinned.

"I've encountered that guy before. It didn't exactly end well for him. He met my little...project when he tried robbing my home."

Freddy blinked and then scowled.

"He is a thief and you did not protest when the manager hired him?"

Bonnie tilted his head.

"That doesn't make any sense. How can ya trust a thief with this kind of job?"

Shadow frowned.

"I'm inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt here. He made it quite obvious that he doesn't do it often when he attempted to rob my place, he left a lot of obvious signs that someone was there. There's also the fact that I was able to see his ribs through his shirt when he was there. He's desperate."

Shadow got quiet all of a sudden, and the animatronics were barely able to hear what she said next.

"Desperate people do stupid things...trust me."

Shadow's mood brightened.

"In other news, I talked to a few people in the area that have collected...memorabilia and things related to the restaurant...and I found spare suits for all four of you! Err...well. Ones that aren't bloodstained."

Freddy's ears perked up a bit, and Bonnie and Chica looked excited. Shadow grinned happily.

"I think Foxy's gonna be the happiest about this, his suit's past the point of salvaging. How the heck do you get holes in a suit that's got a sheet of metal underneath fake fur?!"

Freddy chuckled.

"Foxy has had a few accidents over the years with corners and sharp things."

Shadow rolled her eyes.

"Of course he has...anyways. You guys have a show again soon, and I've got to get home for a bit more sleep before tonight. I'm going to come in a little bit early to show you how 'just a human' can scare. Since you seem to have forgotten I'm only half human, silly bear."

Freddy bristled at the slight insult as Shadow walked away after sticking her tongue out playfully at the irate bear. Once Shadow was gone, Bonnie snickered.

"I can't wait to see what she's got up her sleeves. I just hope it's not as creepy as bringing her mentors again."

Freddy frowned.

"That's right...I should have remembered, she is half 'fear demon', whatever that means."

Chica fidgeted slightly before deciding to keep her beak shut. If Shadow wanted to tell the others, she would.

Later that night

Shadow teleported quietly into Foxy's cove, body held bridal style in her arms. Looking around quickly, she lay her body down in her hiding spot from the second night before moving to stand in front of Foxy, poking his nose to wake him up. Grumbling loudly, Foxy opened his eyes, only to yelp and stumble backwards when met with glowing golden eyes inches from his muzzle. Shadow snickered and stepped backwards off Foxy's stage, letting the fox recover from the shock.

"Evening Foxy! Sorry for the early wake up, but I want your help."

Foxy eyed Shadow warily.

"Help, eh? And where be yer body lass?"

Shadow rolled her eyes.

"The exact hiding place you showed me that night I pissed Freddy off and hid in here. Figured no one would go looking there. Anyways! You guys usually wake up around 11:00, right?"

Foxy nodded.

"Aye, we do. That way the others can get a look at whatever new guard showed up."

Shadow frowned.

"You could say what it really was. Taking a look at whatever poor sap was going to be murdered."

Foxy flinched, which caused Shadow to look away, eyes darkening in disappointment. She sat down in one of the small chairs, causing it to creak under her weight.

"I'm sorry Foxy. I shouldn't have said that."

Foxy shook his head.

"No lass, ye had every right to say it. After everything we've done to ye, and others. Just wasn't expecting ye to just throw it out there like that. On another note...what were ye planning tonight lass?"

Shadow hummed.

"That's why I need your help Foxy. You guys all have your patterns, right?"

"Aye. Bonnie likes the hallways to the left of the office, Chica the right. Fazbear heads down the right side when the guard doesn't watch him enough, and I make a dash for the office if the guard doesn't check me cove enough."

Shadow hummed again in thought.

"I don't know exactly how I can add in to this without overwhelming the guard. I suppose we can figure that out once the others are awake. Speaking of the others...how do we play this to freak them out the most?"

Foxy rolled his eyes.

"Really lass?"

Shadow just grinned as Foxy leveled a very unamused look at her.

"What? Don't give me that look Foxy. Just because they didn't catch me in the first two days doesn't mean they didn't hunt me. I want to give them a scare."

Foxy sighed.

"Fine, lass, fine. They've already got quite the attachment to ye lass, so use that how you will. I'm going back to sleep for a bit."

Half an hour later, when it was approaching 11, Shadow was finding it very hard to sit still. Her body was sitting at one of the tables, slumped over with Plushtrap beside it in shutdown. She had sat herself down in a corner near the stage, slumped over and eyes closed so they wouldn't see the glow from her night vision. When her internal system's clock hit 11pm, she stilled, listening. Freddy was the first to wake, mechanisms grinding as he turned his head from side to side, most likely looking at Bonnie and Chica. She heard the confused muttering at the sight of her animatronic in the corner and it took all her willpower not to start giggling. She could hear Bonnie and Chica begin to move, and wondered how long it would be until someone either came over to investigate her, or noticed her still body slumped over the table.

It turned out to be the latter, Chica noticing her.

"Shadow? What are you doing here so early?"

Chica tutted.

"You obviously didn't get enough sleep if you're out on one of those chairs."

Bonnie jumped off the stage, causing a loud thump, and Shadow could hear his footsteps as he crossed the room. There was silence for a moment, then Bonnie spoke, panic in his voice.

"Freddy...she's not moving."

The bear grumbled, moving closer to the animatronic Shadow was possessing.

"She is asleep Bonnie; humans do not move when they sleep."

There was silence again before Bonnie began to panic more, Chica letting out a gasp.

"Freddy, she's not even breathing!"

That got Freddy's attention immediately. Shadow almost flinched at the loud grinding she heard as he turned quickly, making a note in her head to look at him after. Bonnie flinched too, having also heard the sound and knowing how much pain Freddy was most likely in. It said how much he cared for the night guard now that he had hated a few days ago.

"Bonnie, go wake Foxy. Chica, grab the first aid kit from the kitchen."

The other two moved quickly, Bonnie disappearing down the hall, and Chica through the doors to the kitchen. Freddy poked Plushtrap once, then harder when the small rabbit didn't respond. Finally, Plushtrap woke with an annoyed chitter that quickly turned to concern at the unmoving Shadow. He poked Shadow once before turning on Freddy and letting out a barrage of angry squeaks, growls and other various noises, each one punctuated by him hitting the large bear with his very small fists. Freddy growled and picked Plushtrap up by the gap between his torso and head, dangling the little rabbit in the air.

"I didn't do this you little runt. I woke you up to help us fix it."

Plushtrap let out one last angry chirp before finally crossing his arms. It was this that Foxy, Bonnie and Chica all walked back into the main room on. Chica gave a stressed smile before quickly rushing over and feeling for a pulse again. Freddy looked at Foxy, who seemed to be more intent on the animatronic in the corner than the unmoving Shadow. Growling, he walked over and poked the fox in the shoulder.

"Are you going to stop staring at that thing over there and help us with her before the new night guard shows up?"

Foxy turned his gaze on Freddy, eyes narrowed.

"Is that all ye care about? Fixin' this mess before the new guard arrives?"

Freddy growled louder this time, looming over the slightly smaller fox.

"I would like to figure out what is wrong with our one and only human friend before another wild card shows up."

When Foxy's gaze once again darted over to the other animatronic in the corner, Freddy grumbled.

"What is so interesting about an inactive animatronic when we are currently trying to help our human friend that seems to be DEAD. You were with her for a week, do you not care? Out of all of us, you should be the one that cares the most."

Foxy looked at the bear briefly before nodding at the animatronic.

"That was the lass's animatronic. It was in her spare room."

That caught Freddy's attention.

"Bonnie, Chica, continue to see if you can wake her up. Foxy and I are going to investigate that new animatronic."

Before Freddy and Foxy could get halfway across the room, the hand of the animatronic in the corner twitched. The bear and fox exchanged glances before the animatronic in the corner began to twitch a bit more. The fingers on each hand curled up, making fists, before uncurling again and the eyes flickered open. Confused golden eyes blinked at them before looking over to the rabbit and chicken that were now staring as well, finally falling on the still body. The eyes widened and the animatronic attempted to scramble backwards away from Freddy and Foxy. Finally, it spoke, with an unmistakable voice.

"Wha...how...what did you do to me? I thought you guys had stopped. I trusted you! I thought I'd be safe to have a nap...and now I'm dead?!"

Chica and Bonnie exchanged extremely worried glances when they realized Shadow was now somehow trapped in the new animatronic. Freddy frowned and stepped closer, reaching out to Shadow, but she flinched away. Foxy took a few steps closer as well, backing up a slight bit when Shadow glared at him and let out a vicious growl. Chica whimpered and hid her head in Bonnie's shoulder while the rabbit gave Freddy a concerned look. The bear just looked lost, ears drooped and shoulders slumped. Finally having enough, Foxy growled back, stomping closer.

"Enough lass. This isn't a joke anymore, now yer just being cruel. I agreed to help ye give them a fright, not enact some twisted revenge for a past we're learning to regret."

The glow of Shadow's eyes just got brighter as she stood up, slightly surpassing Freddy in height. She sneered and walked over to her body, picking it up and disappearing through a rippling portal, Plushtrap scrambling after her. The minute the portal closed, Freddy turned on Foxy with a loud growl.

"What the HELL was that Foxy? You seem to know what is going on, now tell me!"

Foxy shook his head.

"Somehow the lass is able to move her spirit between the animatronic and her actual body. I'm assuming it be due to the half-human thing. She told me she wanted to give everyone a scare, not traumatize us by throwin' our past in our faces when we be tryin' to finally move on from it."

Freddy sighed, looking around at the shaken Chica being comforted by Bonnie and the stoic fox that seemed to know a few things he wasn't telling. Shaking his head, Freddy spoke.

"Back to your places everyone...like it or not, we have a new guard coming in tonight that needs to be tested. Hopefully we'll get some solid answers tomorrow."
