I don't own Digimon or trapped.
"Normal talk"
"The voice addressing everyone."
"The voice addressing only the saboteur"
(Trapped theme song plays)
The Caretaker is lying on his hammock half asleep. He is woken up by footsteps.
"Huh No No! Wha? Oh, it's you lot. You disturbed me in the middle of my doze time. There's some kind of dream creature that keeps giving me rotten dreams. Like cupcakes and fairies. It's the most disgusting thing you can think of." He is interrupted by a banging sound. "No time for sleep now. The Unfortunates are here."
The unfortunates are locked in a cage by Wiley Sneak, who then whistles signaling the Caretaker. The latter grunts then starts pulling up a winch rope connected to the cage, which pulls the unfortunates to the top of the tower.
"Here they come. Foul smells. Rotten loneliness. I don't mean the tower. I'm talking about the unfortunates. So, who in the tower this week?"
"There's Takato, he makes burnt bread." (Takato is staring at the camera with both hands resting on the cage.)
"Rika, she's known as the Queen of the Cards. (Rika is looking up through the hole in the cage.)
"Henry, is currently engaged. Please leave a message." (Henry is staring at the camera through the cage.)
"Jeri she's friends with a sock puppet." (Jeri is shown looking around the cage)
"Kazu he's annoying." (Kazu is shown looking at the camera with his hands holding onto the cage.)
"And Kenta who has a terrible singing voice." (Kenta is looking down at the ground through the holes on the cage.)
The cage reaches the top of the tower, and a drawbridge opens to the cage. The Unfortunates exit the cage the same way they were introduced and makes their way to the tower. Once Kenta enters the tower the drawbridge closes.
The Caretaker moves to a giant dome in the middle of his room. In it is a model of the tower complete with vultures and ravens.
"This is my watch tank. This is where I gets to see everything that goes on in the tower. Hundreds of years ago, bobbingcraft began arriving, each one filled with unfortunates ready to take on the Voice and her tower. Imprisoned at the top, they work as a team to pass the challenges and escape each floor. But one of them cannot be trusted. On each floor a new saboteur is chosen. The voice speaks to them using the whisper clip and helps them to ensure their team fail each challenge. If the team succeed, the saboteur will be trapped on that floor. If the team fail it could be anyone of them. Floor by floor it's a battle against their friends. Only one will escape with the Key of Freedom and the rest remain... Trapped! Hahahaha!" The Caretaker laughs to himself before a gong sounds throughout the tower.
Floor 6... Goblet of Ice!
"Hope the unfortunates have wrapped up warm for this one!
In this challenge, Unfortunates must carry snow across the icy stepping stones and fill the Goblet of Ice. But it's not that easy. The stones are deadly slippery and there's a monstrous gale blowing. It's windier than a plate of baked beans! What's more, if so much as a toe slips off them steppingstones, the goblet will tip up and empty out all the snow they've collected. So, they'll have to start all over again! hahaha!
Who is the one who will want the team to slip up?"
The unfortunates are in a room covered by ice. On one side of the room is a pile of snow where the unfortunates will start. On the other side is the goblet on a plinth with a giant fan behind it. There is a circle of stepping stones connecting both ends together. The unfortunates are lined up in the order that the Caretaker introduced them in. They are all wearing their usual outfits apart from hats and gloves. They are all wearing safety goggles over their eyes. There is an eerie silence throughout the room.
Henry do not react. You are the saboteur, and you are the only one who can hear my voice. It is your job to make sure your team fail this challenge. You can do this by making sure the goblet is not full at the end of 90 seconds. Don't panic, I will guide you through your whisper clip.
"Can Henry sabotage the challenge, or will he be frozen out?" The caretaker returns to his watch tank to observe the proceedings.
Unfortunates, this is Goblet of Ice. To pass the goblet must be full at the end of 90 seconds. Let the challenge begin...Now!
The team starts scooping snow into the bowl and make their way across the stones. The wind picked up while the voice was explaining the challenge, causing some snow to slip out of their bowls.
Henry remember, the key to this challenge is timing. Stick to the back so that no-one spots you.
Henry sticks to the back as they make their way round. He moves his hand in the bowl to let some snow slip out. When he gets to the goblet, he barely has any snow and even less makes it into the goblet.
Well done, Henry. Hardly any went in that time!
Everyone proceeds to go gather more snow when an alarm goes off causing the goblet to fall over and tip out the snow currently in the goblet.
Henry, Kenta just slipped on the ice. I hope the others saw that.
Henry continues to spill snow while the others continue to fill the goblet.
Henry, it's good that your spilling snow, but try not to be too obvious.
60 seconds
Kenta and Takato pour snow into the goblet causing it to overflow.
Oh no! The goblet is full. What are you going to do?
As Henry is moving towards the pit of snow, he puts his toe on the ice. This causes an alarm to go off and the Goblet to tip, spilling half of the ice out.
Brilliant Henry! Do it again!
As Henry is moving between the stones, he pretends to slip and moves his foot to the ice. The alarm goes off with the goblet completely emptying.
30 seconds.
Not long to go now Henry, just keep it up!
All of a sudden, another alarm goes off and what little ice is in the goblet tips out.
That was Kenta again. He seems to be finding the ice tricky.
The snow in the goblet continues to fill up.

Oh no! Henry the goblet is full and time is running out. You have to do something!

Henry pretends to slip as he puts his foot down on the ice. The alarm goes off and the goblet tips over.

A chime goes out through the room as the challenge ends.
Your time is up. You have failed miserably.
"Looks like the team have failed. But has the saboteur been seen?" The caretaker returns to his watch tank.
You must now vote for who you think the saboteur is. Takato, who do you think the saboteur is and why?
"I think it was Kenta because he stepped on the floor a few times."
Rika
"I think it was Henry because he put hardly any snow in the goblet."
Henry
"I think the saboteur was Kenta, because I saw him put his foot down on the ice."
Jeri
"I think it was Kenta, because he kept on slipping on the ice."
Kazu
"I think it was Henry, because when we were running out of time, he put his foot down and caused the goblet to tip."
Kenta, who do you think the saboteur is and why?
"I think the saboteur was Henry, because he kept falling off the ice."
The vote is a draw. You have voted for Henry and Kenta.
"Draw Straws!" The Caretaker cheers before turning back to his watch tank.
Henry and Kazu step up to a chest shaped like a trapdoor and open it, pulling each half towards them. The chest is lined in purple with seven straws of different heights in a row.
Whoever draws the short straw will be trapped.
Henry grabs the second straw while Kenta grabs the fourth and hold them up to compare them. Kenta's straw is comparatively smaller than Henry's.
Kenta, you have drawn the short straw and will therefore be the unlucky one.
The caretaker wipes his brow in relief as Henry and Kenta return to their place in the line.
I can now reveal the saboteur was in fact...
There is a slight pause as everyone waits to hear what the voice says.
Henry
Everyone looks at Henry, who gives a slight shrug.
Kenta, you have drawn the short straw, therefore you will not be leaving this room. The others are free to pass to the next floor.
"Phew, made it through by the skin of his teeth!" The Caretaker comments in relief.
The trapdoor opens and everyone except Kenta jumps down. Once Jeri, who is the last to jump goes, the trapdoor shuts and locks.
Kenta, why do you think the others voted for you?
"Because I kept on slipping on the ice."
How do you feel about being trapped?
"It sucks that I'm the first one, that and I'm not exactly dressed for the climate."
Poor Unfortunate Kenta...You're Trapped! Hahaha
Kenta is by the window shivering as the camera pulls out and rotates around the tower.
"Henry may have been the saboteur, but Kenta drew the short straw that time!" The Caretaker comments before a gong sounds out throughout the tower.
Floor 5...Spooked
"Some people think that the books on this floor are spookified...AND THEY'D BE RIGHT!" The Caretaker whispers before shouting at the top of his lungs before explaining the challenge.
"Shh! This is the tower library, and THAT is Ms Mutternot, the bad tempered librarian. To pass this challenge, Unfortunates must find three safe books and hand them to the librarian. But beware! Ms Mutternot has an awful temper! If they pick three spooked books, they will fail.
Who will the voice choose on this floor?" The caretaker finishes explaining the challenge before returning to his watch tank.
The unfortunates are in front a desk in the middle of the room with bookshelves filled with books surrounding them. Floating around behind the desk is a woman in a long blue gothic dress with a veil concealing her face. This is Ms Mutternot. There is a silence throughout the room.
Jeri do not react. You are the saboteur. It is your job to ensure your team fail this challenge. You can do this by manipulating your team to pick spooked books. All the spooked books have a spider on them. But don't be too obvious, you don't want to be detected. I will guide you through your whisper clip.
"So can Jeri spin some tales, to make the team lose?" The Caretaker comments before returning to his watch tank.
Unfortunates, this is Spooked. To pass you must hand the librarian three safe books. Let the challenge begin...Now!
Takuya rushes over to the bookshelf as everyone starts calling out which book for him to grab. He eventually grabs a thin purple book with a yellow spider on the spine.
Takato has gone for a spider. Perfect.
"Go with that one!" Jeri calls out as Takato hands it to Ms Mutternot. The librarian puts it down on the counter before it falls through a hatch. The lights in the room turn red and the librarian shrieks at the top of her lungs scaring everyone.
Perfect Jeri. She didn't like that one bit,
"Guys what about this one?" Takato picks up a yellow book with a green scorpion on it.
Takato's picked up a scorpion. It's not a spider but maybe you can earn their trust?
"Let's do that one!" Before Jeri can speak up, both Rika and Henry agree with Takato, and he passes it to the librarian.
This'll be one to them, so act pleased!
Ms Mutternot places the book on the counter before flicking her hands. This causes the book to fly off the counter into the checkout basket by the desk, making everyone cheer.
Well done, Jeri. Now go for another spider.
Jeri goes off to the other side of the room before spotting a thin green book with a purple spider on it.
"What about this one?" She asks timidly, before realising that everyone is looking at another book Takato has picked out. The book Takato is holding is a thick purple volume with a green snake on it.
They're not listening to you Jeri. Make yourself heard!
"I'm fine with this one." Kazu replies motioning to the book Takato is holding. Before Jeri can object, everyone agrees and Takato hands the book to the librarian.
This will make two good books. You need to speak up!
Ms Mutternot takes the book and places it on the desk before allowing it to slide into the checkout basket.
Jeri listen to me. You need a spider or your trapped! There's one on the front shelf.
"Which one should we do now?" Henry asks the group as Rika goes to pick up a thick yellow book with a purple spider on it.
"What about this one?" Rika asks holding onto the book in her hand.
Rika's picked a spooked book. Go with it!
"I'm fine with it." Henry says before turning to the other three who nod in agreement. Rika passes the book off to the librarian who places it on the desk.
That was lucky Jeri.
The book falls through the desk and Ms Mutternott screams at the top of her lungs as the room turns a deep red.
It all comes down to this Jeri. You need to make yourself heard!
Rika goes over to the shelf and points to a thick white book with a purple snake on it. "This one looks different from the others we've picked."
That's not spooked. You need to get them to change their mind.
"I don't know guys. I've got a bad feeling." Jeri spoke to the group barely able to make herself heard.
Jeri, you need to make yourself heard. They're not listening to you!
Before Jeri could say anything Rika hands the book to the librarian.
Jeri, that's three safe books. You know what that means!
The librarian places the book on the counter before making it slide into the checkout basket. The team cheers before a chime goes off signalling the end of the challenge.
Your time is up. You have passed.
"Oh! Did we even have a saboteur on that floor!?" The caretaker scoffs before returning to his watch tank.
You have passed, therefore the saboteur is automatically locked in the room. But before I reveal the unlucky unfortunate, who do you think the saboteur is and why? Rika.
"I think the saboteur was Jeri because she wasn't joining into the discussion."
Henry
"I think it was Rika because she was being very bossy and didn't let us join in picking a book." Henry's response earnt a scoff from Rika.
Jeri
"I think the saboteur was Rika because she wouldn't let us pick a book."
Kazu
"I think it was Rika because when she picked a book it was spooked."
Takato, who do you think the saboteur was?
"I think the saboteur was Rika, because she wasn't letting us pick books and when we picked a book that she chose it was spooked."
You have voted for Rika. I can now reveal the saboteur was in fact...
There is an ominous silence in the room.
Jeri
Everyone looked at the young girl who was close to tears.
Jeri, although you were undetected, you failed to sabotage the challenge, therefore you will not be leaving this room. The others are free to pass to the next floor.
"If the team had failed, she would have gotten away with it." The Caretaker comments.
The trapdoor opens and everyone but Jeri jumps down. When Kazu jumps down, the trapdoor closes and locks behind him.
Jeri, why do you think you failed as the saboteur?
"I think it was because no one would listen to me and I couldn't get my voice heard."
Poor Unfortunate Jeri...You're trapped!
Jeri is by the window crying as the camera pulls out and rotates around the tower.
"Hope Jeri likes reading. She's in there for a while!" The caretaker takes delight in Jeri's misfortune before a gong goes off.
Floor 4... Green Fingers. What does the garden grow?
"Mary Mary quite contrary, how does your garden grow? WITH GREEN FINGERS THAT'S HOW!
The tower potting shed is home to Green Fingers. To pass this challenge, the Unfortunates must find three plant pots that contain magic bulbs. But they better watch out! If they pick the wrong pot, Greenfingers will get them. Unearth Greenfingers three times and they will fail!
That is potty and someone is going to be a very crafty plant!" The Caretaker explains the challenge before returning to his watch tank.
The unfortunates are lined up in front of a bench containing fifteen pots in five groups of three, with each group containing a purple, green and white accented pot. There is an ominous silence in the room.
Kazu, do not react. You are the saboteur. It is your job to ensure your team fail this challenge. You can do this by persuading the others to pick a plant pot containing Greenfingers. I will tell you where Greenfingers is each time. It is up to you how you use this information. I will guide you through your whisper clip.
"Can Kazu confuse the others and make the team lose?" The caretaker comments before returning to his watch tank.
Unfortunates, this is Greenfingers. To pass must avoid Greenfingers and find three magic bulbs. Let the challenge begin...Now!
Kazu, Greenfingers is in the white pot.
"Which one should we go for?" Henry asks the group motioning to the three pots.
"I think white." Rika volunteers looking at the pot.
Rika's said white. Agree with her!
"I'm fine with that. Who's putting their hand in?" Takato asks turning to the group.
"I'll do it." Henry announces as he moves his hand over the pot.
"Get down there." Rika tells Henry rather bossily as he puts his hand down into the pot.
He's on his way!
Suddenly Henry pulls his hand out of the pots as a Greenfingers pops out. The sudden appearance of the green hand causes the group to jump back with Kazu letting out a small scream. They then move to the next set of pots.
Greenfingers is in the purple pot.
"Which one now?" Takato asks turning to the pots.
"What about green?" Kazu answers adjusting his glasses as he does.
Not green! Purple!
"I'm fine with it." Rika huffs before rolling up her sleeve and putting her hand in the pot.
This is a magic bulb, so remember to act pleased.
As Rika pulls the bulb out of the pot, everyone cheers, with Kazu only pretending.
"One down, two to go!" Takato remarks as they make their way to the next group.
Kazu, Greenfingers is in the white pot.
"What about white?" Rika asks the group.
"We haven't done green yet though." Henry remarks looking at Rika as he does.
Kazu, agree with Rika.
"I'm thinking white too." Kazu says agreeing with Rika.
White was good before.
"White was good before." Kazu remarks, repeating what the voice said.
Henry agrees with them and goes to put his hand into the white pot.
This'll make it two to you. And it looks like it was Rika's decision.
Henry sticks his hand down further into the pot.
Here he comes!
Henry suddenly pulls his hand out of the pot as Greenfingers sticks out of the pot terrifying them.
Good acting Kazu. Greenfingers is in the green pot.
"Henry, since you wanted to do green last time, maybe we can do green this time?" Rika asks Henry motioning to both him and the pots.
Rika's suggested the green pot. Encourage it.
"I'm fine with it. Takato, do you want to pull it?" Kazu remarks, turning to Takato.
"Ok, I'll go for it." Takato remarks as he moves his hand over the green pot.
This is it Kazu, they're going to fail! Here he comes!
Takato sticks his hand in the green pot and after a few seconds pulls it out again after being grabbed by a Greenfingers which pops out of the pot. A chime goes off signalling that the challenge is over.
Your time is up. You have failed miserably!
"Oh, I can't watch... Actually, I can!" The Caretaker cover his eyes with his hand before taking them off and returning to the watch tank.
You have failed, therefore the saboteur has succeeded, but have they remained undetected? You must now vote for who you think the saboteur was. Henry.
"I think the saboteur was Rika because on the last one, she suggested the white pot and it was bad."
Kazu.
"I think it was Rika because she wouldn't let us decide which pot."
Takato.
"I think it was Rika because every time we picked a pot she suggested, it was bad."
Rika, who do you think the saboteur is and why?
"I think it was Kazu, because he always encouraged us to pick the pots that turned out to be bad."
You have voted for Rika. I can now reveal the saboteur was in fact...
There is a slight pause as the room in plunged into silence.
Kazu.
There is a light scoff from Rika as everyone turns to face Kazu who is giving a small smile.
Rika, you will not be leaving this room. The others are free to pass to the next floor.
"Sly and secretive, that's how to play the game!" The Caretaker cheers before returning to his watch tank.
The trapdoor opens and everyone jumps down with the exception of Rika. When Takato, who is the last to go, jumps down, the trapdoor shuts and locks.
Rika, why do you think the others voted for you?
"Because I was really bossy and didn't allow anyone to help choose."
Poor Unfortunate Rika...You're Trapped!
Rika is by the window with her arms folded as the camera pulls out and rotates around the tower.
"Rika is trapped, framed by Kazu!" The Caretaker takes delight in Rika's misfortune as a gong goes off.
Floor 3... Forbidden Chambers.
"It's them pesky Jub Jub's!
In the Forbidden Chambers are crates of smelly Jub Jub's that need to be kept apart. To pass this challenge, the Unfortunates must stack the crates of the same colour in the matching coloured chamber. But they can only carry one colour at a time and can only enter another chamber if it isn't occupied. If less than two towers are stacked when the time runs out, they will fail.
There's only three, so who will it be? It's time to pick the saboteur."
The floor is split into four chambers, a purple, yellow, green and orange room. The rooms are separated by four automatic doors. Behind the unfortunates in each of the room are four different coloured crates with some matching the colour of the room. Takato is in the yellow room, Kazu is in the orange room and Henry is in the purple room. There is another silence throughout the room.
Henry do not react it's you again. It is your job to ensure your team fail this challenge. You can do this by mixing up the coloured crates, lying to your team and making sure they don't stack two towers at the end of two minutes. Do not panic. I will guide you through your whisper clip.
"So, the saboteur is Henry. If he succeeds Henry will be safe, and just a floor from freedom!" The Caretaker comments before returning to his watch tank.
Unfortunates, this is Forbidden Chambers. To pass, you must have at least two towers complete at the end of two minutes. Let the challenge begin...Now!
Henry, since you're in the purple room, start by taking the purple crates out of there.
Henry grabs the two purple crates that are stacked up and knocks on the door to the orange room. The door opens up and he makes his way in, the door closing behind him.
"Who's got the green crates?" Kazu yells to the other two.
"I do but I'm stuck in yellow!" Takato calls back.
Henry, you need to talk to your team. Tell them you need to get into yellow.
"Guys can you move? I need to get into yellow!" Henry calls pounding on the door as he does.
Takato takes the green crates and goes into the green room after Kazu moves the two purple crates he's holding into the purple room. This opens up the yellow room and Henry goes in.
Your team are working too quickly, you need to block them! Take the yellow crates back into the orange room.
Just as Henry goes to enter the orange room, Kazu enters carrying an orange crate.
Oh no, Kazu's beaten you to it. Takato is going into the purple room. Take the yellow crates into the green room and block him!
Henry gets there just in time as Takato starts gathering up the yellow crates. A few seconds later, Takato starts pounding on the door.
"Guys, can you let me through? I'm stuck!" Takato yells to the team as he continues pounding on the door to the green room.
Kazu takes the yellow crates and goes into the yellow room.
"I'm in the yellow room, you should be able to get to orange!" Kazu yells as he starts stacking the crates.
60 seconds
Henry listen to me. Take the green crates into the purple room and start talking to your team. Say you need to get into the orange room!
Henry makes his way to the purple room and, while holding onto an orange crate starts pounding on the door.
"Takato, I can't get into orange!" Henry yells while banging on the door.
"I'm stuck in orange. Kazu, you need to move!" Takato replies with a hint of annoyance in his voice.
"I'm moving, I'm moving!" Kazu yells as he takes a purple crate into the green room.
Henry, you have purple, green and yellow crates in the purple room. If you stay there, they can't complete the towers. Just keep talking!
"Guys, I need to get into green!" Henry yells while banging on the door.
"I'm stuck in green. Takato, move!" Kazu yells as he moves the two green crates to the bottom of the pile.
This is brilliant. Takato and Kazu are turning on each other.
30 seconds
Takato makes his way into orange, leaving Kazu free to go into the orange room.
Kazu's out of the green room and there are purple and yellow crates in there. Take the purple crates into the green room and hold the crates again.
There is pounding coming from the door leading to yellow as Kazu is heard yelling. "Henry is that you in the green room?"
At this point Takato is in the purple room.
"Yeah. I need to get into the purple room, but I'm stuck again!" Henry yells back.

A chime goes off signalling the end of the challenge. Takato is in the yellow room, while Henry is in the purple with Kazu in the green.
Your time is up. You have failed miserably.
The caretaker fakes tears before turning his face into a scowl. "Grow up." He then returns to his watch tank.
You must now vote for who you think the saboteur is. Kazu
"I think the saboteur was Henry because after he left the green room there were two green crates missing."
Henry
"I think it was Takato because he kept blocking me and not letting me and Kazu move.
Takato, who do you think the saboteur was and why?
"I think the saboteur was Henry because he kept on blocking me."
You have voted for Henry. I can now reveal the saboteur was in fact...
There is an ominous silence as the three of them wait for the answer.
Henry
"Busted!" The caretaker points at the watch tank before resuming his watch.
Henry, although you sabotaged the challenge, you were detected. Therefore, you will not be leaving this room. The others are free to pass to the next floor.
A trapdoor opens and both Takato and Kazu jump down, the trapdoor closing and locking behind them.
Henry, why do you think the others voted for you?
"Because I moved the green crates immediately before Kazu came in. That and I kept blocking everyone."
Poor Unfortunate Henry... You're Trapped!
Henry is by the window with his hands on his head as the camera zooms out and rotates around the tower.
"Poor Henry, so close yet so TRAPPED!" The Caretaker shouts as a gong goes off.
Floor 2... One way out and there can only be one winner!
"Fight Fight Fight for Freedom!" The Caretaker cheers before explaining the challenge.
"To win the key of Freedom, the Unfortunates must answer questions about their time in the tower. It's simple. Win and they escape. Lose and they'll be trapped!
Oh! I'm so excited I could whack a walnut." The caretaker finishes explaining as he turns back to his watch tank.
Takato and Kazu are standing in front of an open trapdoor with the Key of Freedom floating above it. The room itself is barren save for a few cobwebs, a curtain and some candelabra's.
Unfortunates, this is your Fight for Freedom. The Unfortunate with the most correct answers will be the winner. You have 60 seconds to prove yourselves. Let the challenge begin... Now!

Before Kazu can answer a chime goes off signalling the end of the challenge.
Too slow. Spooked. Takato and Kazu, your time is up. Takato, you answered 3 questions correctly. Kazu, you answered 1 question correctly. Takato you are the winner. Congratulations.
Takato gives of a light grin, knowing that he has won.
Kazu, how do you feel about being trapped?
"I'm fine with it because I got this far."
Poor Unfortunate Kazu. You're Trapped! Takato, you have won your freedom. Take the Key and leave the Tower, before I change my mind!
Takato grabs the key and jumps down, the trapdoor shutting and locking behind him. Kazu is seen out the window looking around the room as a hatch opens on the side of the tower with Takato appearing. After brushing himself off, he triumphantly sticks the key into the air.
"Take that!" He yells as the camera zooms up away from him. Meanwhile the Caretaker is setting his hammock up for his bed. "So Takato escapes, while the others are trapped! Now that that's over maybe I'll finally be able to have some nice dreams. Oh, I can see it now. Rotting sewers. Slimy snot. It's anyone's dream come true. What are you still sticking around for? Go on, clear off! You wouldn't want to get TRAPPED!"
A.N: Before everyone bites my head off about not having Ryo here, I was tossing up between having Ryo in this batch, but that didn't end up happening. Would you like to see a tamer version with Ryo in it?
