Fitzsimmons finally get a well deserved break together and try to settle which of them is the most romantic. I wrote it while listening to ocean sounds so that might be a nice soundtrack. Running away and leaving behind your life is not easy. Daisy knew that, but she had to escape from her mistakes, from all she had brought on herself. She never expected to find love when all her hope was gone and neither did he, to fall for a broken girl with sad eyes that made him feel like electricity was running through his veins.

This story takes place within the episodes "Absolution" and "Ascension." It contains some dialogue from these episodes and adds a missing scene as to why Daisy left SHIELD.

*SEASON FINALE SPOILER* Daisy's been on the run from S.H.I.E.L.D. ever since she lost Lincoln. However, in one stupid slip up, Coulson is able to get what he needs to track down the rogue agent. He doesn't want her to suffer alone anymore, but she refuses to accept his help. While he knows trying to help her is useless, he does it anyway. ((Oneshot))
