Luz Noceda always struggled to make friends. Passionate, impulsive, and weird—she was an outcast and the target of many school bullies. After a particularly rough day, Luz encounters an owl just as peculiar as herself. She is led to a mysterious shack in the woods, and her life is forever changed. Or: Luz discovers the portal to the Boiling Isles at a much younger age.

Eda heard about what happened to Luz and Amity at the Abomination Presentation, so Eda decides to make a call to someone about this.

Vee had never truly understood a name and what it meant. Not until she made her way to the human world and found the one that gave her everything she ever wanted.

Luz Noceda is a witch in training but a hero at heart. Courageous, wise, and powerful. Over the past year, she has earned the love and trust of her friends and the grudging respect of her enemies, so when her girlfriend is feeling a bit down in the dumps one day, she springs into action, unintentionally following in the footsteps of one of her favorite video game heroes.

When Amity's mother finds out that she's dating Luz, she forces her to cut ties with the human. This causes the youngest Blight to do something desperate. Meanwhile, Hunter gets a day off as a reward for his recent accomplishments, and tries spending it as a normal person, and not the Golden Guard. Takes place before "Yesterday's Lie"

Despite being adopted by Raine and welcomed by the Owl House residents, Hunter still suffers several scars from his upbringing at the hands of Emperor Belos. When exam results are released at Hexside and Hunter goes missing, Raine immediately sets out to find their son. (Post-canon.)
