4 Weeks after "SpellBound", Luz and Amity must confront the limits of their friendship while they hang out at an ice skating rink.

Eda and Lilith were close growing up. Even if Lilith was an uptight, rule following stickler, who, even back then, was way too concerned with all her studying. Or; A little snapshot into Eda and Lilith's school days.

Privately, Emperor Bellows is not popular with the town of Bonesborough. In public, they'll say he's a great emperor and agree to his laws. So what happens when Eda is declared an outlaw? While in hearing range of the guards, they agree that she must be apprehended. When no one is listening, they rebel.

Luz wasn't looking forward to going to a Hexside dance at all. But with Amity there it wasn't too bad of an experience.

After Luz bumps into Amity yet again, the two have their typical passive aggressive conversation and part ways as usual... but when Amity pursues a dangerous fugitive and Luz follows, the girls find themselves in a situation that will force them to be more than rivals, and maybe even more than friends.

Lilith reflects on an unusual encounter with her sister, who actually turned out not to be her sister at all. In hindsight, that was pretty obvious. Or; Once Upon a Swap was weird, and Lilith is a desperate idiot who really misses her sister.

Luz has since returned home from her stay on the Boiling Isles. King has fallen into a depression as he misses her so Willow decides to cheer him up with a scone and a few kind words.
