(Later that evening)

Empire day was coming to a close soon. Fireworks shot up in the sky, cookouts were held, and in front of the castle, Taffyta was about to show off a new ship.

Before Taffyta could unveil the fighter, it exploded, knocking her off the stage and sending citizens screaming in panic. From a castle window, Lucy and Vanellope watched, laughing.

"Thank you Calhoun, you've been a great help. This is for you Lucy" said Vanellope

"It's beautiful watching that ship burn" said Lucy

"Come on, it's time for bed, you got school tomorrow" said Vanellope

Lucy quickly changed into her pajamas before Vanellope tucked her in and kissed her goodnight.

"Remember lucy, no matter what you do, I think you're a great queen" said Vanellope

"Thanks mom" said Lucy

Vanellope then went to Kevin's room and got him to bed before returning to her room. Rancis had a small box in his hand.

"Got something from shank, addressed to you" said Rancis

Vanellope opened the box, and much to Rancis' surprise, were 2 little blue bags from the Tiffany and co website and a receipt for almost $1000, paid in vanellopes name. In the bags were a silver heart necklace and bracelet identical to Lucy's and honeys.

"Gift for someone?" Rancis asked

"No, they're mine" said Vanellope

"Why would you want that? Never shown interest in them before" said Rancis

"A little plan of mine for getting rid of the empire" said Vanellope

"What does this have to do with that?" Rancis asked confused

"I'll tell you once I figure out the details" said Vanellope

The next morning, Vanellope found herself in front of the city museum. Vanellope didn't care much about history, but what she had in mind, this trip was necessary. She got herself a private room and pulled several papers about ships out of her purse. She studied imperial and droid ships, their strengths and weaknesses. Vanellope felt insulted seeing the museum called the imperials ships high tech and superior, while Lucy's were considered vastly inferior and outdated. She studied the weak spots of the Star destroyers, and deduced they could be taken out easily with a lot of luck, and the weapons were too slow to handle a fighter efficiently, designed more for a battleship. This gave her ideas.

After school was over, all the kids went to Kevin's newly built castle to hang out. While this happened, Vanellope took the chance to enter Lucy's room and go through her closet. Hung nicely among the jean jackets and hoodies was a pink princess dress, her old one from sugar rush, albeit a little modified since then.

"I always hated this thing, but what I need this for is necessary" said Vanellope to herself

"And what do you need it for?" Rancis asked behind her, startling her

"How long have you been there?" Vanellope asked

"Not long. What do you need your old dress for? Ralph gave it to Lucy because you hated wearing it" said Rancis

"If I tell you and Ralph will you promise not to tell Lucy?" Vanellope asked

Rancis agreed, and met with Ralph in the throne room. Vanellope explained her plan to them. She hated how the empire controlled half the galaxy Lucy built, and how they bullied her family from time to time. Vanellope was planning to dress like Lucy, glitch down into her kid body, and pretend to be her and lead attacks that would cripple the empire, allowing Lucy full control of her worlds again.

"This is a horrible idea" said Ralph

"No, it's perfect. And I almost got the look down, just gotta buy some pearls and earrings. And in my kid body I sound exactly like Lucy. I can pull off being her for a few days in secret" said Vanellope

"You're gonna break the peace treaty?" Rancis asked

"The empire will never change. You saw how upset empire day made Lucy. I'm gonna make her feel happy, even if you won't help me" said Vanellope

"I won't tell the kids, but mark my words, you're gonna make a lot of trouble doing this" said Rancis "You better be right"

"I want nothing to do with this. I'm retired, my wrecking days are over" said Ralph

"Fine, be that way. I can do this on my own" said Vanellope
