(A couple days later)
Vanellope was enjoying breakfast with Ralph, Rancis, and her slaughter race friends in her castle in a private dining room, discussing her coming plans. They were the only ones she trusted with the plan, the other sugar rush racers might mention it to Lucy, especially taffyta. She couldn't let the droid army know she was taking Lucy's place, and she definitely didn't like that pony teacher of the kids finding out. Vanellope pointed to a hand drawn map of the galaxy the targets to take over, starting with the pony planet of Equestria, and ending at the galaxy's edge, with the takeover of the imperial capital planet, Coruscant.
"I still think this is a terrible idea" said Rancis
"Your part is simple, just get the kids out of the game for a few days, take them to the beach, mountains, take them to Disneyland for all I care, just get them out of this game" Vanellope ordered
"V, are you sure conquering the galaxy will make you a better mom in Lucy's eyes? And what about Kevin?" Shank asked
"Me and Kevin are already close, he takes after me in so many ways. Lucy on the other hand, we're not as close, we're just so different. But we both hate the empire for what they did. I will never forget that despicable man for doing those horrible things to her" said Vanellope
"What did the imperial leader do exactly?" Felony asked
"I'm not talking about the grand Moff by the way" said Vanellope
"Oh, you mean emperor Pal-
Vanellope threw a knife towards pyro, silencing him before he could finish.
"Don't say his name in front of me. He, those inquisitors, all those troopers, they've made Lucy's life a living hell. She made her own galaxy and they took it away from her. Those cowards from equestria will learn to love her in time. Tomorrow I'll take over that planet, then fire their teacher from being, well, their teacher" said Vanellope
"You wanna fire twilight? Why? She's loyal to us" said Ralph
"Yes, but when will the kids need to know things like math or social studies? She should be teaching them about surviving other games. She may be a good princess on her world but she's not a good teacher in my book" said Vanellope "You guys don't have to agree with me, but what I'm about to do, must be done"
"So what's gonna happen to the imps once you defeat them?" Butcher boy asked
"Simple, I'll relocate them to another Star Wars game, there's tons of them, they'll be happier in their own world" said Vanellope "How I'll transport them, well that's secret right now but all will be revealed in good time"
"Ok, last thing, do you even know anything about leading an army of tin cans?" Shank asked
"Not really, but luckily, Lucy has a friend who does" said Vanellope
"Oh no, not him" said Little Debbie
"Oh yes, him, General Grievous" said Vanellope
"How can you trust him? He tried attacking our game the first week" said Pyro
"Lucy trusts him, they were in anger management together, and he helps with her therapy from time to time. I believe all villains can change, and he definitely did. He died protecting our home from the emperor, don't you forget that" said Vanellope
Later that day, Vanellopes plan was put into action. Rancis took the twins on a surprise trip out of game, while Vanellope went as far as dying her hair a yellow blonde color. After a change of clothes and glitching to her kid body, she looked exactly like Lucy.
"Kid, I don't fully support this" said Ralph
"It's for the best Ralph. Now let's get to space, I've already set up a meeting with the generals" said Vanellope
After a short flight to space, Ralph and Vanellope entered the conference room of Lucy 1, where droid generals and captains, along with a couple living captains, were seated. Vanellope proceeded to explain her plan, much to the shock and confusion of everyone.
"An attack on the empire? You must be crazy" said Tails the fox
"I'm open for anything, gives me purpose being up here" said a penguin named general snowball
"Your majesty, a full scale conflict with the Galactic Empire could destroy us"
"No it won't. I have the support of Megatron and the decepticons. I got in contact with him taking my cat to fluttershy the other day, ran into soundwave, did some talking, and Megatron has offered use of his flagship, the nemesis. With the nemesis combined with my fleet and our vast army, we can overwhelm the empire, and put an end to their never ending bullying of the galaxy" said Vanellope
"So, what're you gonna do with the empire after we overthrow it? Well if this plan works?" Tails asked
"I secured an invention from a mutual friend of mine, it'll help me capture the imps and safely move them to a game they'll be more comfortable in. Tomorrow we will capture equestria, and slowly work our way through the core until we reach the galaxy's edge and capture coruscant" said Vanellope "I want you all to prepare your squads. And to ensure cooperation, one of my friends, General grievous, will be by to oversee the operation. Never hurts to have another opinion. That is all for now everyone, prepare your troops and prepare for battle. If anyone needs me I'll be in the bridge planning strategies"
Vanellope dismissed the generals and captains before heading to the bridge/throne room. The first thing she ordered was Lucy's throne be moved closer to the windows and at a computer station, which the droids obliged in doing.
"I must say your majesty, it's nice you want to sit among us at our stations"
"There's gonna be changes around here. Grandpa, why don't you go get some rest, I'll need your strength too" said Vanellope
'It's cute when the grandkids call me grandpa. Makes me feel old hearing Vanellope call me that' Ralph thought to himself
Over the next few hours, Vanellope didn't leave the bridge, working on strategies and studying the planetary fleets and defenses in imperial space, trying to guess perfect strategies. As it got later, her mind raced with different thoughts, most of it had nothing to do with the coming war.
'I really hate this dress, can't believe Lucy fell in love with it. I miss my hoodie. That Chinese food doesn't seem to like me. Feels weird wearing pearls all the time, I only wear them during special occasions. Honeys really gonna hate this, but who cares what she thinks? Jam imperial signals with lucrehulk upon arrival, then land ground troops. Or perhaps destroy the destroyer first?'
Vanellope snapped out of her thoughts when the computer turned off. She turned around to see she was surrounded by magnaguards, Lucy's droid bodyguards.
"Your majesty, we know you're serious about this attack, but you look exhausted. Perhaps it's time you head to bed" said a guard
Vanellope rubbed her eyes and yawned
"But I'm not tired"
The droids picked her up and carried her to Lucy's bedroom
"It's for the best. We'll dress you for bed and make sure you're not disturbed as you sleep. Your genius mind needs to be well rested if it's to lead the invasion tomorrow" said a guard
The droids sat Vanellope down and removed her clothing, putting her into Lucy's pajamas and robe. They carefully removed most of her jewelry and tucked it away in a jewelry box before stowing it away. Ralph entered the room just as they were making sure she was comfortable under the covers
"Sweet dreams our queen. Know that we will protect you til the end"
"Guards, dismissed. I want to talk to Ralph" said Vanellope
The droids quietly exited the bedroom to give them privacy.
"You're really gonna do this?" Ralph asked
"Yawn, it's too late to go back now. Lucy will love me for this. With all the planning I did, we will win" said Vanellope
Vanellope reached under her shirt and undid the heart necklace she was wearing, casually tossing it aside.
"Kid, you're taking a big risk not wearing that" said Ralph as he picked it up
"Lucy may wear it to bed, but I won't" said Vanellope
"And if those droids see you're not wearing it they'll question you. In case you've forgotten, Lucy rarely takes that thing off. And don't forget you can't use the force to prove you're Lucy" said Ralph
"I'll be careful, I'll keep it under my pillow and put it on immediately when I wake up. Remind the guards to simply knock before entering and wait for my response so I have time to put it on." Said Vanellope
"Sure, I'll do that" said Ralph
Ralph made sure Vanellope was tucked in before wishing her goodnight and sweet dreams. Upon exiting, Vanellope turned off the lights, and saw the bedroom fill with stars, a feature Lucy added to make her feel like she was floating in space as she slept.
"So beautiful. Lucy, Kevin, when you get home, I promise things will be different and better for all of us" said Vanellope
She took one last look at the necklace and saw the heart charm twinkle with the stars in the room, kind of pretty she thought. She stuffed it under the pillow and lied down, slowly closing her eyes. Time for a good nights sleep among the stars.
