(World designer galaxy, mid rim)
Planet Equestria was a world in the mid rim full of nature and was home to many former Hasbro my little ponies. An insignificant world on its own, it was home to many events that shaped the history of the game. A rebellion led to the fall of the Lucy empire, and was also the site of the final battle of a war the game dubbed 'The Lucy offensive', which led to the games galaxy to be split into 2. A graveyard of wrecked starfighters and capital ships served as a grim reminder of the war. It was also home to the traitorous sour bill when he betrayed Vanellope and her family before being captured. Today would mark another significant event in game history, the day the planet would be freed from imperial control.
Vanellope looked from the window of Lucy's bedroom at the planet. Her main target was the imperial military base. She also had a couple lone Star destroyers to deal with. It would be a simple fight as the empire didn't find the world too significant. Sienar fleet systems had a factory on the planet that built tie fighters, destroying it would hurt the empire.
"Time to fix my big mistake of letting the empire live"
Vanellope changed into one of Lucy's princess dresses and made sure she had that stupid necklace on. When Ralph came to greet her, he brought along Lucy's friend, General Grievous from the battlefront games.
"Queen Lucy, it's been a while. I'm honored you want me to lead your attack" said Grievous
"It's great to have you aboard. We'll begin the invasion soon, you brought the new droids I requested?" Vanellope asked
"In the main hangar bay" said Grievous
"Now Lucy, will you finally explain how you plan to remove these imperials from the game?" Ralph asked
Vanellope went to one of Lucy's purses and pulled out a small glowing cube, a code box.
"My friend norville recently discovered another universe where another me had these and tried to get rid of the empire in her world. Didn't work from what I'm told, but this code box will suck the imperial forces inside and trap them. Only difference between me and that Lucy is I'm not gonna destroy the box when I'm done, I'll move the imps as promised. But it'll only work when they're weakened enough. I have one for every planet"
"Another you designed that? I hardly believe that" said Grievous
"This is the internet, anything can happen" said Vanellope
After a little more prepping, the invasion could finally begin. Several droid ships along with the decepticon ship, the nemesis, came out of hyperspace. Grievous, Ralph, and Vanellope watched from the bridge.
"Jam their transmissions, we don't want word of this getting out" grievous ordered
"Roger Roger" said the droids
The lucrehulk freighter jammed all communications aboard the destroyers as the nemesis got closer. The destroyers opened fire, but were overwhelmed by the decepticons, who started blasting the turbolaser batteries apart and ripping the hull out.
Vanellope sat on her daughters throne and started landing her troops onto the surface. She activated the code boxes given to her by grievous and released several large droids. 1 kind of droid had 2 large wheels and carried many missiles, a hailfire droid. The other new droid she got had 4 legs and resembled a spider with 2 powerful laser cannons, a homing spider droid.
"All droids, move in. Ignore the ponies, kill any imperial you see" said Vanellope
Vanellope took some controls and began operating one of the hailfires remotely, driving it through the pony settlement, and almost running over a screaming yellow Pegasus
"Your majesty, you almost ran over fluttershy!" A droid pointed out "Isn't she a friend of yours or something?"
"Ignore her, she knows how to get out of the way" said Vanellope
The droids looked at each other with uncertainty about their leaders behavior. Grievous pointed out targets for the droids to attack as the imperials launched a counterattack. Vanellope personally went for the tie fighter factory and fired several powerful missiles at the building, destroying it. The spider droids made quick work of scout walkers, and bombers disabled any AT-AT's that tried to make a move. The imperials were quickly caught off guard as the droids began overwhelming them. Within minutes, Vanellope prepared the code box weapon. All imperial forces began getting sucked inside the box, as well as the destroyers from space. Once all the imps were away, the droids spoke to the scared pony citizens
"The threat of the galactic empire is over. Equestria is now free from imperial control and officially under the protection of the Lucy empire. All ponies are now free"
Some ponies weren't sure how to respond while others cheered. Vanellope smiled and contacted tails who was on another planet
"Aquis has been secured" said tails
"The fleet on raxon is ready to take on Zendavo" said snowball
"Excellent. We are one step closer to freedom boys" said Vanellope
It was then that grievous wished to speak with her in private. In Lucy's bedroom, grievous revealed he knew she wasn't Lucy, but was Vanellope.
"How'd you know?" Vanellope asked
"That necklace is on backwards, Lucy prefers her name on the back not in front. You almost killed that pathetic fluttershy, the real Lucy would never do such a thing, I've listened to her in our anger management meetings say that so many times. And let's not forget your strategy was reckless, Lucy wouldn't fight guns a blazing just like this" said grievous
"I just want to prove I'm a good mother, and defeating the empire will do it" said Vanellope
"For your sake I hope you're right" said Grievous
"Your majesty, your teacher miss twilight wants to talk to you" a magnaguard told them
"Send her to the bridge, I'm on my way" said Vanellope
(A few minutes later)
"Fired? You're firing me as a teacher? First you nearly kill my friend and now I'm fired? What is with you today Lucy" said twilight
"My parents think a new change is needed. Kids today in this world need to know about surviving rather than useless stuff like math and English. And you should be thanking me, your planet is free. Expect your final paycheck in the mail, nice serving me, you do a great job now get out of my throne room" said Vanellope
A shocked twilight was dragged away while another droid grabbed vanellopes shoulders, much to her surprise
"Time for your daily shoulder massage your majesty" said the droid "You seem stressed, your shoulders feel tense"
"Ow, it has been a heck of a day" said Vanellope
"Not to worry, when I'm done you'll have no knots"
Vanellope cringed a little at the massage, she'd never had one, but did start to feel a little relaxed after a bit. It was a glorious victory today, her daughter would be proud.
(Back in litwak city)
In the home of Honey Shaw, she was on the phone with her husband as her daughter Sophie played on the floor.
"Zeke, I don't understand, what's happening?" Honey asked
"Stay inside and watch Sophie, something bad is happening and I need to protect the castle. I can't say more, I'll be home later and I'll talk more then"
Zeke abruptly hung up leaving honey confused. She turned on the TV to the news and saw Lucy and grievous attacking equestria.
"Chaos in the mid rim! Separatist forces have launched a massive unprovoked invasion, led by the evil General Grievous and Queen Lucy Fluggerbutter. Imperial forces have been overwhelmed and driven off Equestria and Aquis. In response to this overwhelming attack, Grand Moff Alexander Williams has issued this statement from Coruscant"
"What queen Lucy is doing is a clear violation of our peace treaty signed in February. I can assure all imperial citizens that queen Lucy and her separatists will never reach coruscant. I am mobilizing all available troops and ships to prepare for war, and I'm calling an old friend of mine to lead the assaults. As of today, the Galactic Empire is at war with the separatists and the planet cybertron. Queen Lucy, if you're watching this, you better start running. What I have planned for you, you won't like it one bit"
"Mom, I can see fire coming from the castle, what's going on?" Sophie asked
Honey quickly shut off the tv and dragged Sophie outside near a shed. In the shed were doors leading underground. The doors led to an emergency shelter. Every building in the city had emergency shelters for the yearly hurricane, and for invasions. The shelters were strong enough to withstand an orbital bombardment. Honey didn't feel safe in her own home at the moment, considering her allegiance to Lucy and not the empire, something she wasn't comfortable explaining to Sophie.
"Lucy's really leading another war?" Sophie asked
"It seems that way" said Honey
Sophie looked at the tv, and shuddered seeing the hailfire droids on equestria. She was frightened of them, but she didn't know why, she had never faced one in her old life as far as she knew.
At the castle, police and battle droids were fighting the pro imperial protestors, keeping them away from the castles, but they couldn't protect everything. At Kevin's incomplete castle in the farmlands, pro imperial protestors were setting it on fire.
"For the empire!"
"Down with queen lucy!"
"Burn baby burn"
The crowd cheered as the castle was engulfed in flames and crumbled to the ground. One protestor struck a red flag with an imperial crest onto a pile of rubble and screamed as the crowd went wild.
Back at vanellopes castle, the rioters were growing more violent and attacking the police and droids. Out of the main hangar bay of Lucy 2, several droid gunships flew out for air support, their menacing red eyes facing the crowd.
"Disperse immediately" one gunship told the crowd
Several of the rioters threw flaming bottles at the gunships, and others fired weapons. Each attack bounced off the gunships shields. To the horror of the police troopers below, the gunships opened fire, sending a volley of missiles and laser blasts into the crowd, making them run away. As the ships flew off towards Kevin's castle, one of the police troopers turned towards a droid. It was Honeys husband, zeke.
"Are you droids out of your mind?" He asked
"Priority 1, protect her majesty's home by any means necessary. And no citizen as far as we know has a weapon powerful enough to pierce our gunships shields"
As the droids made their way back inside, the police dispersed.
"Saying it now, that little girl has lost her mind" zeke told himself
"I think she lost her mind a long time ago"
