Ash: So Anne, what can you tell me about this Mosk city?

Anne: Oh I think you will love it

They eventually made it to the entrance to Mosk City, the area of Ash's next gym battle and Anne's next contest, and they were in awe at what they were seeing. There were many gardens and attractions to be found, one that held many kinds of art, and a bedazzling theatre with what appears to be a statue of a griffon creature.

Ash: Say, doesn't that statue remind us of that painting back at the chapel?

Anne: Now that you think about it, they do share some similarities

Ash: Maybe there is a library that can explain that

Anne: Good idea, let's go

They managed to find a library and came across a book about the legends of Miskoto's past. They rummaged through the book and mostly found some rather mundane text about the founding of the region, the Pokemon that were discovered, and so on. That is until Pikachu found a certain page that they were all trying to find.

"Pika pika"

Ash: Hmm, this looks promising

Anne: Let's see, before the creation of Miskoto's elite, there was a being that was as old as the Original One. We call this aged creature, Infinivoid

Ash: Infinivoid?

"Pika?"

Anne: Infinivoid watched over the afterlife, seeing if a soul should be sent to the heavens or the underworld. However, he began to neglect his duties, and soon the land of Miskoto was wrought with restless spirits, eager to move on to the afterlife.

Ash: That's awful...

"Tutwirl"

Anne: This went on until Infinivoid's sons, Solestic and Necrodukh, rebelled against their father and cast him out of this dimension, where they then took over their father's role. Solestic watched over the heavens, and Necrodukh watched over the underworld.

They then saw a picture of the two legendaries in question. Solestic was the griffon, and Necrodukh was the vulture.

Ash: Wow, talk about historical

"Tutwirl twirl"

Anne: Hey this is weird

Ash: What is?

Anne: There's supposed to be a picture of Infinivoid here, but it's missing, someone tore it out

Ash: Sounds suspicious

?: Indeed

They both turned around to see two cloaked figures standing behind them. They were so cloaked that they were unable to see their faces, not even the tips of their noses were able to be seen. One cloak was regal and pristine, and the other was ragged and worn.

Ash: Um, who are you?

Regal: We are simply brothers, brothers who are fascinated in Miskoto's distant past

Ragged: The banishment of Infinivoid is one similar to the Creature of Anti-Matter

Ash: You mean Giratina?

Regal: Indeed, Infinivoid was even the precursor to Kalos' Xerneas and Yveltal, as he created them to handle life on the physical plain

Ragged: Recently the spirit world has been in flux with the physical realm, as there have been spirits of those passed that have made their way through the walls that separate the plains

Anne: What do you think caused those holes to form?

Regal: We are unsure, that's why we're here, to find a possible solution in these archives

Ash: I see, well I hope this whole thing is settled

They then left the library, heading on over to the Pokemon Center to rest for the big events that are sure to come up.
