I can't believe it's been nearly 2 years since the last update. So, so sorry for the long wait!

A couple of months passed since Robin and Regina made it official, and things had been blissfully uneventful. Christmas had been and gone. Regina and her mother had gone skiing in Canada for the holidays; whilst Robin had remained at home with his own family. They'd stayed in touch almost constantly whilst she had been gone, mostly pining for one another. Robin was still helping her with her studies, and she was getting better by the week. They worked on her essay writing skills, and he made sure that she knew exactly where she was going wrong and how she could work on improving. As for her cheerleading, she hadn't quit completely, but she had stepped down from being head of the squad. She didn't need the pressure of it all, and Emma had been quite happy to take over the role. Kathryn had been grounded for three months, only allowed to go to school and see her therapist unless her parents were with her. Regina has seen a definite improvement in her demeanour; she was glad that her friend was finally getting the help she needed.

The person that had been threatening Robin had stopped; they hadn't heard from them since Regina had given them a piece of her mind. The whole situation has been very daunting for them both, especially at first when they walked around the school holding hands. The first week she'd worried they might be in danger letting people know about their relationship. It hadn't happened though, if anything, it had given Robin something close to protection; he hadn't been hurt or teased since they'd been together. No one would dare to even say a bad word to one of the most popular girls in school, apart from maybe Nottingham, but even he had been quiet since their chat in the library. Weirdly that was one thing that hadn't changed. Even with her demotion in the cheer squad, she continued to hold the respect of her fellow students and remain ridiculously popular.

There wasn't long left until it was exam time, and the stress and anxiety that came along with finals were beginning to mount. It was non-stop revision; the teachers didn't help with the growing worry, instead, they piled on more work and continued to preach about the importance of these exams and their impact on the future. As if they weren't feeling under enough pressure without that added strain.

Regina lay on her bed in her room which had been completely transformed. The cream walls had been covered from floor to ceiling in colourful revision mindmaps, and the purple floral wallpaper was nowhere to be seen underneath her bright posters. One wall had been covered by a historical timeline, which had corresponding events trailing off it, along with the cause and effects of said events. Everything she might need was plastered onto her walls.

She'd just finished an English literature past-paper and was more than ready to fall into her cosy sheets and sleep. Robin helped her formulate a revision timetable she could use for when he wasn't there, and so far she had been sticking to it the best she could. For today she had completed everything that was scheduled and knew that Robin would be doing his own revision on subjects that she wouldn't even have thought about taking. She missed just spending time with him where they could relax; it would be wonderful when all their exams were over and done with, and they could enjoy some quality time together.

Prom was also fast approaching. She had been head of the prom committee before Mr Nolan decided that unless she upped her GPA she couldn't even attend. She had been trying her hardest to do exactly that, and hopefully, she was succeeding. Even if she no longer wanted to be popular, she desperately wanted to go to prom. She had been getting intel on what ideas they'd had from the girls who were still on the team. It seemed they had opted for a fantasy theme, fairies, queens, knights, that sort of thing. She had to admit that it sounded amazing, and she was so excited to go.

Regina closed her eyes for a moment, she was just going to rest for a moment before she got ready for bed, then she would get up, have a shower followed by an early night. She would go in a minute. After a short moment, she would go.

That short moment didn't exactly go according to plan.

Robin was absolutely sick of studying, normally, he would be happy to learn new things and build up his knowledge. He'd just done way too much and had grown exhausted from looking at textbooks. Everyone at school was the same, all of them were stressed, and he knew that Regina was feeling it too. He missed her, missed spending quality time with her.

It seemed like forever since they just sat down and watched a movie together. He missed being able to hold her in his arms, kiss her even. They hadn't even had the chance to share a proper kiss in what had probably been an entire month! All they'd had a chance to do was have chaste kisses here and there. It worried him, he worried that it wasn't enough for her, that they might be drifting apart before they even got the chance to properly get close to one another.

He stared at the textbook in front of him blankly, nothing was going in tonight. The more he looked, the less likely it was that he would ingest any information. Robin groaned in frustration and slammed his book closed, flinging it on the bed before standing from his desk and grabbing his jacket from the hook on the back of the door.

Done, he was done with studying for the night; he needed a break before he drove himself insane. "Mum, I'm just heading out for a bit."

"Where are you going? I thought you were doing your revision."

"I was, but I'm going a little crazy from staring at the textbooks."

His mother rose an eyebrow at him before pausing the show she had been watching and looking at him expectantly. "So, where are you going?"

Robin had a feeling that she already knew where he was planning on going, she just wanted to hear it straight from his mouth. The woman had been rather hostile to the idea of him dating Regina, she hadn't been all that happy about the situation, even if she had been civil towards his girlfriend. "Regina's."

"When are you going to be back?"

"I dunno."

"Are you staying over?"

"Maybe, but it'll be in her guest room."

"What about your revision?"

"I'm way ahead already. I need a break, mum."

The woman nodded her head, "go on then; but I want to see you back here tomorrow with those textbooks in your hands Robin. You've not come this far to fall at the last hurdle just before exams."

"Thanks! I'll see you tomorrow!" he grinned before almost sprinting out of the door. He ran nearly the entire way to Regina's house before knocking on the door and rocking on his heels. Maybe he should have told her that he was coming over, but both wanted to surprise her and hadn't even thought about it until he was standing on her doorstep.

Surprisingly it wasn't Regina who answered the door, instead, it was her mother. The elder of the Mills women had her phone pressed between her shoulder and her ear. Cora was shouting at someone down the phone. "Give me a moment, Geoffry. Robin dear, come on in. I'm just on a work call. You can go straight up, Regina is in her room."

"Thanks, Mrs Mills," he nodded with a smile, slipping his shoes off before making his way up the stairs to Regina's room. He knocked on the door and waited for a moment, there was no response from inside, in fact, it was silent on the other side of the door. "Regina?"

Robin waited a little longer before slowly pushing the door open and peeking inside. His eyes widened as he took in the study notes tacked up everywhere! Her room was full of colourful notes, and there was a massive pile of what looked like past papers stacked up on her desk. He moved inside a little, and glanced around, almost missing his girlfriend laying on top of her covers with books and papers scattered all around her.

Her eyes were closed, and her lips were slightly parted. Robin knew within a moment that she was asleep. He shook his head at her softly before moving to sit at her desk, picking up one of the past papers she had completed. Slowly, he began to make his way through them, reading her essays and marking them as he went. Her writing had been getting better and better, and he didn't think he could be prouder of her for how far she had come.

It took him around half an hour to mark all the papers she had done earlier that day, and during that time, she had continued to sleep soundly. He didn't want to wake her up, but her mother had popped her head around the door and told him that dinner was ready. Reluctantly, he perched on the side of the bed and reached out a hand to gently brush the stray strands of hair from her face.

"Hey sleepyhead, time to wake up," he whispered, gently running his fingers over her cheek and watching as a small smile formed on her lips. "Regina."

She hummed happily and nuzzled her face against his hand. Robin chuckled to himself before calling out to her again, a little louder this time, "Regina wakey, wakey."

"Robin?" she mumbled quietly, as she began to stir from her sleep. Her hands reached out automatically, and she grabbed him, pulling him into the bed with her before pressing herself close. "What are you doing here?" she asked softly, as she cuddled against him, still not fully awake. One of her hands rubbed at her eyes, and she peeked at him sleepily from below her lashes.

"I missed you," Robin whispered, "I wanted to see you, maybe spend some time doing something other than revising. I'm even sick of hearing that word."

Regina nodded, slowly moving to sit up, stretching her limbs as she went. "That sounds wonderful. I have been revising today, by the way. I just laid down to shut my eyes for a moment and accidentally fell asleep."

"I marked your essays. They were really good! You're going to crush your exams, I just know it."

"How good are we talking?" she asked with an eyebrow raised.

"Much better than just passing. You're going to smash these tests."

After dinner, Regina and Robin had retreated to her room. She had disappeared to the bathroom to take a shower, whilst Robin had taken the opportunity to change out of his jeans into some more comfortable loungewear.

He perched on her bed as he waited for her to return. Even though she was his girlfriend now, he still got a little nervous around her; his stomach did somersaults whenever he saw her. She was the most gorgeous girl he had ever met, beautiful inside and out.

It wasn't much longer when she appeared, wrapped up in a fluffy towel with her wet hair plastered to her face and arms. "I am so tempted to just have it all cut off," Regina grumbled as she scraped the long locks off her skin and flung them behind her.

Robin chuckled as he leaned back against the bed, his mouth felt a little dry from the sight in front of him, and he didn't know if he should be looking away to give her privacy or not. His girlfriend clearly didn't care, if she had, surely she wouldn't have come in like that, she would have got changed in the bathroom.

"I'm serious. I think after prom it all has to be chopped off."

"I'm sure you'll look stunning however you have your hair."

"You think I'm stunning?" she questioned, turning to look at him. She seemed somewhat startled, and he didn't quite understand why that could be.

"Of course you're stunning, you're gorgeous." He watched as her cheeks tinted pink, and she looked down at her feet for a moment. It was then that he stood from the bed and moved over to her, taking her hands gently. "Hey, what's up?"

"You've never said that to me before."

"What are you talking about?"

She shrugged her shoulders before somewhat shyly looking up at him, "You haven't."

He shook his head and stepped closer, one of his hands sliding up to cup her cheek. "You, Regina Mills, are the most beautiful woman I have ever laid eyes on," he whispered with all the sincerity in the world. He wanted to make sure that she knew that he meant every word of it.

Her eyes stared into his and a moment later her arms were slung around his neck and her lips pressed snugly against his. She kissed him deeply, her mouth tasted like heaven, she'd brushed her teeth whilst in the bathroom, and he quickly found himself getting caught up in the embrace. Robin's hands had fallen to hold her hips, pulling her against him.

Regina deepened the kiss, and Robin slowly walked backwards, his lips never leaving hers as they went. She kept nudging him until the back of his legs bumped against the mattress, and he found himself falling onto the bed, Regina falling along with him. Their lips parted, and she looked down at him, her fingers brushing through his short hair.

He was out of breath and couldn't tear his eyes away from her. Her lips were wet, red and slightly swollen from their kiss, it worked to make her all the more gorgeous. She pulled her bottom lip between her teeth and giggled softly.

"Oops," Regina bumped her nose gently against Robin's. He felt her shudder against him, and that was the moment he remembered she was only wearing a towel and nothing else. His fingers squeezed around themselves as he tried to stop himself from reacting to her. He needed to think of something else, anything else. The last thing he wanted was to scare her off by poking her with an erection. It wasn't possible to stop it when he felt her press against him, pushing her lower half against his in what he assumed was an attempt to get up.

All that did was cause the very thing he had been trying to stop. He immediately cringed and quickly tried to move from underneath her, only to be stopped by Regina who seemed to want the kiss to continue again.

A moment later, she broke away, looking down at him, her eyebrows furrowed a little, "what've you got in your pocket?"

His eyes widened as he carefully moved, slipping out from underneath her to perch on the side of the bed, immediately grabbing a cushion to cover his lap. It was then that Regina's eyes widened, and she stared at him.

"Oh."

"Sorry! I'm sorry, it's just…"

"You don't need to apologise."

"It made you uncomfortable, I'm sorry."

"It didn't make me uncomfortable. It's just new, that's all. It isn't something I'm used to, but I guess you already know that"

"I really liked kissing you."

"I liked kissing you too," she smiled, leaning in and pecking his lips softly. Her gaze then drifted to her own body, obviously taking in the fact that she was still only wearing her towel. "I'm going to go change, and then we can watch something." Regina moved over to her dresser and took out a pair of short pyjamas before turning back to him. "Do you need to take care of that?" she whispered shyly.

Robin shook his head rapidly, no way. There was not a chance he was taking care of it whilst at Regina's house, he would just have to wait for it to deflate. "No, no, it's fine, it should go down on its own," he murmured, looking anywhere but towards her. It was embarrassing, and he was sure that his cheeks had turned a humiliating shade of red.

"Right," she nodded, kissing his cheek before disappearing to the bathroom to change.

"Fuck sake," he grumbled, dropping back onto the bed. The blood was most certainly concentrated down south, creating a tent in his sweats. "Thanks a lot for that." He adjusted his pants and shuffled on the mattress. Robin tried to think of anything he could to make it go down.

Regina leant against the sink in the bathroom, looking at her reflection in the mirror. Her hair was a mess, her lips swollen and her pupils were dilated. She'd never kissed like that before, it had taken her breath away in more ways than she ever thought imaginable. It had been rather magical.

Her towel had slipped down a bit, revealing the top of her breasts more than she usually would. She hadn't planned for the makeout session, it had been rather impromptu. She already wanted a redo, but it probably wasn't wise. Working him up as she had done had been a complete accident, and her stupid naivety had made it all the more awkward. How silly must she have been not to know that it had been his erection she felt and not something in his pocket?

Regina had to admit though, she had been just as worked up as he was. If she had been wearing underwear under her towel, it would have been spoilt by the end of their kissing. She could quite quickly grow addicted to kissing him, his lips felt wonderful against hers.

It made her nervous too, this was all new to her, it was unlike anything she had ever done before. She'd never felt the urge to go further with anyone, never even shared more than a peck with someone. It was a daunting thought that she could be ready for more sometime soon. Robin just seemed to bring that side out in her, she was comfortable with him, and she could see herself being with him sexually, she'd never imagined that with anybody else.

She splashed some water over her face to try and bring herself around. Shaking her head, she dropped her towel and hung it up on the towel rail before freshening up a little. Once she was satisfied, Regina changed into her pyjamas, she took one last look in the mirror before heading back to her room. She had stayed in the bathroom for longer than was probably necessary, she wanted to give him enough time to sort himself in whatever way he needed to.

When she reached her room, she knocked on the door before rolling her eyes and huffing to herself, had she really just knocked on the door to her own bedroom? Shaking her head, she slipped inside, closing the door behind her. Her eyes immediately went to the bed, finding Robin lying down, twiddling his thumbs in his lap. Upon hearing the door, his eyes shot up to meet hers, and he offered her a small smile. "You okay?" he asked.

"Wonderful actually," she nodded, climbing onto the bed beside him. Was it awkward now, or was she just imagining things? "What about you?"

"Well, I guess I'm a little embarrassed."

"No, please don't be embarrassed," she shook her head, turning to face him, her hands reaching out for his.

"I ruined the moment, I just…"

"You didn't ruin anything. If I was a guy, I would have been hard too." Robin sniggered and ran a hand over his face. "I was aroused as well you know. I guess women can conceal it easier."

Robin looked down for a moment before looking up and meeting her eyes. "I got you all hot and flustered then?"

Regina nodded, leaning closer, "I don't think it's a good idea for us to kiss like that again right now. I might get tempted to go further than we probably should right now. It was hard enough to stop as it was."

"I agree. I think something like that should be special and not just because we got carried away in a moment."

"I'm glad we're on the same page." Regina smiled, feeling warmth blossom inside her chest. She hadn't exactly worried that he wouldn't have been happy with her wishes but knew that most boys wanted sex, that's just what they were like. Robin respected her and that was amazing, it made her love him even more, not that she would confess that to him so soon.

Maybe she could just about confess to herself that she was in love with Robin Locksley.

When Monday morning rolled around, the school was in a tizzy. Everyone was stuck with their heads in their books sat in the library or classrooms. Revision fever has struck, and every single one of the final years was taken up with it, including Robin and Regina. The library was packed, so in their free periods, the pair retreated to the caretaker's closet in an attempt to hide away from the hustle and bustle.

Regina sat with her head cushioned on Robin's shoulder, as she skimmed through her English textbook. She needed to make sure that she remembered all the important parts she would need for her exam. Robin had a massive physics book on his lap, and he flicked through the pages with one hand whilst his other was wrapped around her shoulders, holding her close.

"I have English lit in ten minutes," Regina groaned, closing the book she had been looking at. It would be her last English Literature lesson before her exam the next day, the first of what would be many to come.

"Yeah, well I'll see you later. I'm staying after school tonight with my book group, but I could come over to yours after if you want, maybe help you with your last bit of revision before your exam tomorrow."

"Aww, thank you. Enjoy your book club, and I will see you tonight," she grinned, leaning in to place a soft kiss on his lips before standing and shoving her book into her bag. Three little words were on the tip of her tongue before she opened the door, she was so close to saying them to him, but she didn't, instead, she opted for something simpler. "Catch you later."

Regina was on her way to her English literature class when she bumped into the person she had been trying so hard to avoid. The boy almost collided with her as he came out of a classroom. He stopped in his tracks as soon as she was in his sights. The guy looked at her for a moment, before sneering and shaking his head. "So, it seems your bitch of a friend is alive after all."

"It seems she is," Regina sighed, carrying on with the pest continuing to follow after her.

"So you have nothing to threaten me with anymore."

Regina rolled her eyes and glanced over her shoulder for a moment. "I don't need anything to threaten you with anymore. I'm not even interested in entertaining you Nottingham," she smirked.

"You better watch your back Mills."

"Whatever," Regina scoffed, before shoving her hair over her shoulder and slipping into her English classroom. His threat had no substance to it. What was he actually going to do to her? She wasn't afraid of him anymore.

Even though she wasn't scared of him, she was glad that he didn't follow her inside. So far she had managed to avoid him. If she had spotted him down the corridor, she had turned around and headed in the opposite direction. Avoiding any confrontation had been her goal, and she'd been successful in it until that day. In the scheme of things, it hadn't gone as badly as she thought it might.

Now for the last English lesson before her exam. She was sure that she could do this, Robin's tutelage had paid off more than she ever thought it would do, and now she felt confident in herself. Her seat was near the front of the classroom; she'd asked to be moved a few weeks after her study sessions had started, with the hopes that being closer to the teacher would be less distracting.

"So, are you ready for the exam tomorrow?" Tink asked as she took a seat at the desk beside her and dropped her books on the table, making a loud thunk.

"I think I am actually. As ready as I'm going to get anyway. How about you?"

"I'm not worried about it."

"Good," Regina nodded, flicking through her textbook absentmindedly. She would be happy when these exams were over and done with, and she could finally relax.

Her friend was in the middle of telling her about the dress she had been looking at for prom when the teacher came through the door, and everyone went silent. Mr Gold was one of those teachers who seemed to instil a sense of fear into everyone.

"I have the results of the mock papers you sat last week," he quipped, slamming his briefcase down on his desk and popping it open. "I hate to say this, but a lot of you should be worried. Very worried indeed."

Regina felt her stomach clench as her fingers held onto the corner of her table. She was panicking now, what if she wasn't as ready as she thought she had been? She couldn't fail, failing wasn't an option, not when she had tried so hard to do well.

"Let's go through it, shall we."

The lesson dragged on, but Regina made notes on everything the man had to say, taking all of his suggestions on board. It came to the end of the session, and everyone stood to leave. She was almost out of the door when she was stopped by her teacher.

"Miss Mills, a word if you please."

Regina nodded, swallowing heavily, as she turned to look at the man who was leaning on his cane as he rested against his heavy mahogany desk. His hair was dark with flecks of grey and stopped at his shoulders, the suit he wore was smart and well pressed. He was mysterious and scared her more than she would like to admit.

She knew what was about to happen; he was going to tell her that she had bombed her mock paper and stood no chance of passing. Her heart was beating so fast she thought she might be having a panic attack for a moment. "Is this about the test?"

"It is."

She closed her eyes and shook her head, "oh god, I can't believe it. How badly did I do? I studied so hard! I thought I was at least going to pass. How did this happen?"

"Breath, Miss Mills. Take a breath."

Regina could feel tears trying to sneak out and took a shaky breath as he told her to. "Please could you just tell me just how bad it is?"

"You didn't give me the chance to even say why I asked you to stay behind." Mr Gold rolled his eyes at her, and she furrowed her eyebrows as she watched him move over to the pile of papers, before plucking one off the top. He dropped the test down on the table closest to her, grabbing her attention.

Her gaze gravitated towards the paper, more specifically the large red letter scrawled across the top of the paper, with many other red letters in a sentence underneath. "Seriously?" she gasped, staring at the test in utter shock.

"Trust me, Miss Mills, I was just as surprised as you are."

Her cheeks began to hurt, and it was only then that she realised how hard she had been smiling.

"Write an essay like that in your real exam tomorrow Miss Mills, and you will pass with flying colours. Good job, all that studying and hard work you mentioned has paid off. Well done!"

"Thank you, sir. Can I take this please?"

"Of course, I want you to read my notes."

Regina scooped up the paper and headed out the door, the smile still plastered to her face. She had a feeling that it would be there for a while, it would take a lot to knock it off. Someone bumped her shoulder in the courier, but she was too busy reading her teacher's notes to even look up.

A moment later she arrived in the library, not that she even realised that she had been walking that way. All she had been thinking about was showing Robin her paper; she was so proud of herself.

Glancing around the room, she found Robin and his book group sitting at the far end. Excitedly she hurried through the packed library towards the table her boyfriend was at.

"Girlfriend at three o'clock," Robin's friend John quipped, nodding in her direction and causing Robin to turn and look at her.

"Hey is everything okay? I thought we were seeing each other tonight."

"We are, I just wanted to show you something first. Hey guys," she smiled at the other people who were sitting around the table. Sydney was grinning at her in a way that seemed more than friendly, whilst everyone but Mary Margaret was giving her a sincere smile.

Regina held out her paper to him, her bottom lip securely between her teeth as she waited for his reaction. She watched his face eagerly, seeing his once furrowed eyebrows arch as his lips formed a large smile. "Oh my god, I'm so proud of you Gina!" he laughed, standing up and wrapping his arms around her, lifting her from the ground a little as he squeezed her gently. "I can't believe you got a B plus from Gold! He is so picky and critical. Everyone struggles to get a good grade from him."

"I know. I was so shocked when I saw the grade." Regina chuckled, her feet landing on the ground again. He didn't let go of her though, his hands were still resting on her lower back as he held her in his arms. "I was thinking of stopping by cheer practice, not for long though, for obvious reasons. I will see you when you come around tonight," she hummed, leaning in and pressing a lingering kiss to his lips, earning a bout of humourous wooing from John and August.

Regina shook her head as she pulled back and glanced at Robin's friends, two of them were scowling, whilst the other two were smirking at one another. She pecked her boyfriend's cheek before making her way out of the library. Robin's book group were a strange gang, she hadn't spent much time with them, but they weren't like anyone she'd hung around with in the past. John and August seemed nice, Sydney was a bit odd, and Mary Margaret was simply ignoring her completely.

The moment she arrived in the girl's changing room, she was greeted by her short, blonde-haired friend. "Regina! What did Rumplestiltskin want?"

"Huh?"

"Gold! What did he want?"

"Rumplestiltskin?" Regina scoffed, shaking her head before sitting down on the bench and beginning to change from her jeans and casual sneakers into her cheer outfit.

"Spins straw into gold, but that's beside the point. What did he keep you behind for?"

"He wanted to show me my paper."

A smile edged its way onto her friend's face, "you went and did it didn't you? Judging by the fact you are here right now and not a blubbering wreck, you went and smashed the mock."

"I may have," she shrugged playfully. Wriggling into the red skater skirt, only to be tackled by Tink, who wrapped her arms around her, squeezing her way too tight. "Can't breathe," she groaned playfully, hugging her friend back.

"You're so amazing Regina, I'm so happy for you."

"Thanks. Have I ever told you that you're the best friend I could have ever wished for?"

"Yes, but I like hearing it," the perky blonde laughed, finally releasing her from her death grip. "Come on you. Let's go and show off in rehearsal."

After the practice, Regina gave all of her friends a quick hug before wishing them a good evening. They were going to Granny's for dinner, but they all knew she had an exam in the morning, so hadn't pestered her to come along. The corridors were quiet but busy than they would be on a normal day, due to people still studying. Regina collected everything she needed from her locker before heading out towards her car.

"Hey, Regina wait up." She turned to see Tink coming towards her, her gym bag slung over her shoulder. "Any chance of a lift home?"

"You're not going to Granny's?"

"You're not the only one with an English exam tomorrow."

Regina smiled and shook her head, "get in." She flung her stuff into the back seat of the car before putting her keys into the ignition.

"So, I feel like we have been so caught up with revision and exams that we haven't had the chance to properly talk in ages."

"I know," Regina sighed as she reversed out of the space before driving out of the car park. She focused on the road as Tink spoke up again.

"How are things with Robin? What's it like being someone's girlfriend?"

"Amazing."

"Yeah?"

"He's the best boyfriend I could have ever wished for. He's so kind and caring."

"Ooh someone's in love."

Regina felt her cheeks warm-up, and she was sure that she was a vibrant shade of crimson. She hadn't told anyone how deep her feelings were for Robin, but she was sure that her silence was a dead giveaway to her friend. In a way, she needed to tell someone before she ended up telling Robin and embarrassing herself.

"Oh. My. God! You are in love with him! Regina, I can't believe it."

"Neither can I, if I'm honest. I never imagined things happening this way."

Tink squealed in the passenger seat. "I'm so excited for you! So has there been any other developments I need to know about? Don't tell me you've lost your V card and not even told me about it."

"Not yet," Regina shook her head, taking a left towards the main street. "We want it to be special when it happens."

"Aww, I'm sure it will be."

"After exams, I know there will be more chance for us to relax and find some time to spend together. Anyway, enough about me, how about you?"

"Urgh, there are no nice guys at our school. I think college is where it'll happen for me."

"I don't even want to think about college right now." She sighed, watching as the traffic lights ahead turned from green to red. Naturally, she took her foot off the accelerator and gradually pressed the brake paddle. Her eyebrows furrowed when the car didn't slow down as it should have.

"The lights are red Gina."

"I see that."

"You need to slow down."

"I know! I'm trying to. The break isn't working!" She repeatedly pushed her foot down on the break, just trying to get it to work, but the car continued to speed down the hill towards the traffic lights. The panic was overwhelming as the car continued to move, shooting straight through the red light and the oncoming traffic. That was the last thing Regina remembered before the deafening crash and her whole body jolting as she was slammed into the airbag, and everything went dark.
