Percy and James have an adventure with a fruit train, which later leads to trouble.

Cranky is in a worse mood than ever when he is stuck with Salty, Bill and Ben for the night after an accident.

Arthur wants to run the new fishing village line, but is upset when Thomas gets the job. He gets his chance later after Thomas gets into a nasty accident.

Based on the Railway Series books James The Red Engine and Tank Engine Thomas Again. In a follow-up to The Adventure Begins, James adjusts to his new jobs on Sodor as a special mixed-traffic engine and learns to become a really useful engine while Thomas has many adventures on his branch line that he will never forget.

[Humanized] The relationship between Edward and James has beyond the friendship that they once had. It's not that they're not enjoying their time together but the looming prospect of the romantic duties they'll eventually have to perform is all Edward can think about, and how on earth he is going to break it to James that he 'isn't all there.'
