A/N: This chapter is inspired by Ellen's suggestion to introduce Tiger as a character. Hope you enjoy Ellen.

"We could play baseball." Suggested James. It was a warm spring day and the boys were at the park, deciding how to spend their time.

"We haven't got enough people for that." Said Robbie as he tossed their ball casually up and down in his hand. "We could play catch."

"I don't want to play catch. Let's play football." Said Andy.

"We haven't got an even number for football. We could play - oh hey, Tiger's coming over."

Tiger was a girl in the neighborhood who was about the same age as Robbie. She would sometimes come and play sports with them. At first they were hesitant to let a girl play with them, but she quickly proved herself to be a good athlete. She was certainly better to play with than Andy, who would run in the opposite direction if the ball came at him too fast.

"Hi Tiger, we're trying to decide what to play. We're thinking of either catch or football." Said Louis.

"I don't want to play any of those. I want to play that spy game with you." Said Tiger boldly.

There was a moment of hesitation from the boys. Nobody but them played that game, it wasn't something that they would share with just anybody.

"How do you even know about that? That game is supposed to be top secret." Said Andy.

"You play it out in public all the time." Replied Tiger.

Andy thought about it for a second. "Oh yeah."

"I'm okay if you play the spy game with us." Said Peter. The others nodded in agreement.

"I'm good with it too." Said Robbie, "I like you and I think you'll enjoy this game."

All eyes suddenly flew to Robbie. "You like her!?" The others shouted. Andy stuck out his tongue and fake gagged.

"WHAT, NO of course not. I meant as a friend. I like you as a friend."

Tiger just raised her eyebrows. "Okay sure." Robbie felt himself blushing slightly and hoped the others didn't notice.

"Since I'm playing now, I need all the info I can get. Do you guys have a secret clubhouse or fort? We could start there."

"We don't really have a fort," Said James. "The closest thing to that would be our bedroom. We can head over there now."

The kids headed over to the orphanage. It wasn't until they arrived there that the boys remembered that the task may be more complicated than they realized.

"Do you really think Schultz will just let us have a friend over?" Peter asked. "He's still pretty mad about the whole Klink situation."

"That's a good point. Hang on, I've got an idea. You guys just wait here." Robbie replied, then rushed inside. He came back a little while later with his hat and jacket. "Here Tiger, put on this jacket and hide your hair in the hat. We'll go inside walking in a big group. You'll blend in and hopefully he won't notice the extra person."

They all headed in together with Tiger at the center of the group, her head turned down and her collar up to maintain a low profile. As anticipated, they had to pass by Schultz, who was in the kitchen eating strudel and reading the newspaper. He glanced up at them as they hurried past him and noticed that there was an extra person in the group. He considered questioning them about it, but quickly decided that he would much rather be eating.

The kids made it to the bedroom and shut the door. "It worked!" Exclaimed Louis, "Schultz didn't suspect a thing."

"Of course it worked, I came up with it." Said Robbie. He glanced at Tiger to see if she was impressed by the success of his ingenious plan, but she was more interested in exploring the room.

"I always wondered what this place looked like on the inside." Said Tiger.

"I'll give you a tour." Exclaimed Andy. "Here's our bunk beds. I sleep in this one. It's the one with a secret tunnel underneath it that helps us hide all the escaped prisoners. Except that there isn't really a tunnel, we just pretend there is."

Robbie was about to make a sarcastic comment about how Tiger was obviously aware that the tunnel was imaginary, when they all heard the sound of Schultz calling the orphans' names.

"Schultz is coming! Schultz is coming! Hide Tiger! Hide under the bed!" The boys all whisper-shouted over top of one another as Tiger climbed under the bunk. It was hardly a second after Tiger slid under the bed that Schultz opened the door, carrying some brooms in his hands.

"Your room is getting filthy. After you've put away everything that's on the floor, I need you to sweep up." The boys all nodded in a way that was uncharacteristically obedient and tense, and Schultz once again had the feeling that they were hiding something from him.

"You want us to pick up everything, then sweep the floor. Got it, we'll call you if we have any problems." Robbie said as he led Schultz out of the room and closed the door.

The children waited until they heard Schultz walk away. "Coast is clear, you're free to come out now." Louis said, then went over to help Tiger out from under the bed.

"That sure was a close one." Noted Tiger. "I'd better leave soon, or he's bound to find me and you'll all get in trouble. Andy, James, Peter and Louis, can you go down and distract Schultz for a bit? I need to talk to Robbie quickly before I go."

The others went downstairs, leaving just Robbie and Tiger. "So, what did you want to talk to me about?" Inquired Robbie, as he leaned against a bed frame in an attempt to look casual.

"I came over a while back because I wanted to play ball with you, but Schultz told me you couldn't because you were getting sick. I waited for days and days for you to come outside, but you never did. Then the others stopped playing outside too, and I got even more worried."

"There's nothing to be worried about," Robbie assured her. "I was only sick for maybe three or four days. Schultz thought we were stealing food from Klink's general store, so he grounded us all once I got better, that's why we haven't been out before today."

"Were you actually stealing from Klink?" Tiger inquired.

Robbie smirked. "A spy never talks about his past missions."

Tiger laughed. "Well I'm just glad you're okay." She then leaned over and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

Robbie stood there, not at all sure how to respond. He felt his mind was both racing and frozen simultaneously. Just then, Andy burst through the doors. "We got Schultz to go to the mailbox. You gotta go now Tiger, he'll be back any second!"

"I'd better go. Bye Robbie, I'll see you around." With that, Tiger took off.

Andy stayed in the room with Robbie, who was still struggling to put together a coherent thought. "Are you okay Robbie?" Asked Andy. "Your face is all red."

"Yeah, yeah sure, I'm… I'm fine. I'm kind of warm, but that's probably an after effect of the fever." Said Robbie, as he secretly hoped that nobody would realize he was actually red from blushing profoundly.
