To answer a question from a review, Steel is the nickname for my OC Jonathan Ironwood, son of James Ironwood. He and my main OC, a wolf Faunus named Lapis Lazuli, will be in this story as my own OCs.

I'm debating on bringing Simin Megistus, Vella Moisia, and Ragora Cinarum, three of Mark Zhang's Team SLVR, into this story and teaming them up with Lapis, like I did in my story Team CMSN.

I'm also debating if Ruby should be able to telepathically communicate with the Grimm. Let me know if I should do those things, y'all.

For now, on with the story

Ruby and Cinder arrived in the kingdom of Vale and met up with a green eyes man man with orange hair wearing a bowler hat. He had a cane in his right hand and a cigar in his mouth. Another man walked to them. He had do black hair and blue eyes. He also had a broadsword strapped to his left hip. There was also a young girl around Ruby's age with pink and brown hair with white streaks with her left eye being pink and her right eye being brown. She had a parasol in her hand. Cinder smiled at the younger man and the two kissed.

"Glad you made it, my darling fireball." He said, sounding British.

"As you can see, I brought some help. Our master brought her in on the plan, Steel." Cinder said.

Steel looked at Ruby. "Feel up to following the plan, Ruby?" He asked.

Ruby nodded immediately then looked at the guy she didn't know.

"Roman Torchwick. Nice to meet you, Red." He said to her.

"Likewise. And just know I'm ignoring the fact that you called me Red." She said then turned to the other girl and smiled. "Hi, Neo!"

The tri-toned girl smiled and waved. As they were close in age, Neo and Ruby became close friends since Cinder first brought Ruby to Vale from Evernight Castle when the latter was ten years old. She saw a then twelve year old Neo being picked on and scared the bullies away from her and the two then hung out. Since then, they've been best friends.

After briefly going over the plan again, Ruby made her way to the shop From Dust Till Dawn with a weapons magazine in her hand. She went into a back corner and put her headphones on then pulled her hood over her head and listened to her music as she looked through the magazine. A few minutes later, she felt someone's hand on her shoulder and turned to the person to see it was a man with red sunglasses, a black hat and matching suit as well as a red tie. He pointed to his ears and she took her headphones off.

"Put your hands on the air now, like I said!" The guy said.

Ruby plastered on a confused face. "Are you... planning to rob me?"

"Yes!"

Ruby simply smirked and kicked the henchman away from her. Another held a gun to her but she tackled him out of the shop and slowly stood up, her scythe unfolding completely then pointed it at Torchwick and his thugs, pausing her music.

"Get her!" He said and the other three charged at Ruby but she easily beat them.

"Worth every scent. Truly." Torchwick grumbled and pulled the cigar from his mouth and looked at Ruby. "It's been an eventful evening, Red, but while I'd love to stick around, this is where we part ways." He said then fired at her but she dodged the blast. When she landed and looked up, he was gone. She spotted him climbing a ladder to the roof of a building and chased him.

"Persistent. She really was trained well by the flame lobber and her boyfriend." He muttered as a Bullhead airship appeared and he boarded it. He then turned to her. "End of the line, Red!" He said then threw a red Dust crystal then fired at it, but Torchwick didn't see the woman that saved the young girl until the smoke cleared. She had blonde hair in a bun, green eyes and glasses. She also wore a white top, black pants and matching boots, and a cape.

"Goodwitch. So far so good." Ruby thought to herself.

The woman relentlessly fired blasts of purple energy at the Bullhead, resulting in Cinder stepping in to take the Huntress on while Steel flew the ship.

Ruby gave Cinder a slight nod and Cinder, whose face was obscured by shadows smirked then shot fire at Goodwitch then used her Semblance to heat the ground beneath the Huntress's feet, but the latter backflipped to avoid it then collected the debris into an arrow. Cinder tried and failed to destroy it. Steel turned the Bullhead to deflect the arrow, but Goodwitch split it into three arrows. Cinder retaliated by destroying them.

"My turn." Ruby thought to herself then shifted her weapon to rifle mode and fired at Cinder, who deflected the bullets with just her hand while her eyes glowed. She then used her Semblance to heat up five spots in an arc behind Ruby and their adversary, but Goodwitch moved them both out of the way. Unfortunately, this gave Steel the opening he needed to fly the Bullhead away.

Cinder walked to the two men. "So far, so good. The next few parts of the plan are all up to my little sister."

"You know the two of you aren't related, right?" Roman asked.

"The two of us and our associates raised Ruby from a newborn baby. She is like a sister to Cinder." Steel said and Roman just shrugged.

Ruby looked at Goodwitch with a feigned look of surprise. "You're a Huntress!" She said before switching to feigned excitement. "Can I get an autograph?!"

What the young girl got instead was sat in an interrogation room.

"Young lady, you do realize your actions actions tonight will not be taken lightly, I hope. What you did was dangerous."

"I was defending a shopkeep from robbery!" Ruby defended.

"Were it my choice, you'd be sent home patted on the back..."

Ruby smiled a little until Goodwitch glared at her. "...and slapped on the wrist!" She finished then slammed her riding crop on the table, causing Ruby to flinch. "But, somebody would like to meet you." She added then in walked a man with gray hair, glasses, and a black and green suit.

"Ruby Rose." He said.

"So this is Ozpin? Mom said not to underestimate him, but he doesn't seem like much." Ruby thought to herself as Ozpin leaned over the table to look at her.

"You have silver eyes." He said.

"Okay, Ruby. Make your story convincing." Ruby told herself in her head as Goodwitch showed footage of Ruby's fight.

"Where did you learn this?" Ozpin asked.

"I taught myself." Ruby replied.

"You taught yourself about the most dangerous weapon ever?"

"Yeah. I've lived on my own in the woods all my life. I'd make periodic trips into Vale and get the parts I needed to build my baby. I call her Crescent Rose." Ruby replied then began eating the plate of cookies Ozpin brought with him.

"Your level of skill reminds me of...a dusty old crow."

"Well, I think my skills speak for themselves."

"So I've noticed. But I'm curious as to why an adorable little girl like you learned how to fight like a warrior." Ozpin said as he sat down.

"I want to be a Huntress."

"Slaying monsters, eh?"

Ruby nodded. "I wanna become a Huntress to help people. I always knew I wanted to help others. So I decided to make a career out of it. I mean, I have nothing against the police, but Huntsmen and Huntresses lead much more exciting lives!"

Ruby almost even had herself convinced about it, and Ozpin was buying Ruby's act entirely. Goodwitch, however, had her eyebrows furrowed.

"I presume you know who I am?"

"Professor Ozpin. Beacon's Headmaster."

"And you wish to attend my school?"

"More than anything."

Ozpin smiled softly. "I believe that can be arranged."

Ruby had a smile on her face. "I hope you have a Seer watching me, Mom! I'm sure I'm already making you proud!"

"I'll inform your father and sister of this and we'll go from there." He said then he and Goodwitch left the room and closed the door.

As soon as they were gone, Ruby made a gagging noise. "Wow. Maybe I should consider being an actress if he bought that." She muttered then pulled out her Scroll and pulled up Cinder's name and sent a text. "Hey, sis. Plan's going off without a hitch. Oz is letting me into Beacon. Let me know when we move to Phase 2."

It was only a second later that Cinder replied and Ruby looked at her Scroll.

"Nice job, little sister. You'll be the first to know when we proceed. Make sure you maintain your friendly cover at the school. Talk more soon."

Ruby smirked with an evil glint in her eyes.

That's chapter two

I'm also debating if I should pair Ruby and Neo together in this story. Let me know, y'all.
