A/N thanks for your reviews and support.

WhiteElfElder: thanks for your review my friend. Dumbledore won't try anything too big. Yet. (Peverell was a mistake which has been cleaned up now.) But there are always things hidden.

DarkRavie: thanks for your review my friend. Just have to wait and see.

...

Harrison listened silently as the court proceeded through its usual business. There were a few bills being discussed and he read through the papers that they were given. First few were about taxes and other things he didn't quite understand. Corbin promised to explain it to him before they were to have a debate on it in the next session. This was just to introduce it to them and give a chance for it to be thrown out before ever reaching the debate stage.

Towards the back half of the stack he found something that made his blood boil. It was a creature bill that would further restrict the rights of werewolves. In the bill it stated that if a werewolf was found near a human habitation in the past or current during the week of the Full Moon it could be put down without any repercussions. Any further attempt to couple together with humans or any other creature was an immediate death sentence. Those were simply a few of the restrictions that were being added onto already ridiculous restrictions.

Harrison nudged Corbin with his elbow causing the man to look down at him. He pointed to the bill in question unable to speak through his rage. Werewolves did not deserve this kind of discrimination.

Unsure about the man he watched for his reaction to the bill. There was a flash of anger and loathing in the man's eyes. When it came up for discussion Corbin stood.

Dumbledore reluctantly acknowledged, "The Wizengamot recognizes Lord Yaxley. You may speak Lord Yaxley."

Corbin said in a loud resonating voice, "I vote to dismiss this bill immediately. The restrictions on werewolves and other creatures already have a stranglehold. To approve this bill will insight a rebellion."

There was a snort from one of the Light section Lords. Dumbledore acknowledged with that infernal twinkle in his eye, "The Court acknowledges Lord Tanner. You may speak Lord Tanner."

Tanner stood as he sneered at Corbin, "Why shouldn't we restrict their rights? Werewolves are nothing more than mindless beasts. They should be put down the moment they are turned before they can bite someone else. The beasts are a danger to our society and children."

Corbin stiffened and Harrison could feel the absolute fury radiating off of him. The other Lords of the Dark Sect were silently watching them. Judging everything that was happening but not saying a word. This was a test for Harrison and he was determined to pass it.

Taking a deep breath to center himself he stood. Corbin gave him a curious glance but said nothing. They waited for him to be acknowledged even as many in the Light Section sneered.

Dumbledore forced out, "The Court acknowledges Lord Potter-Black. Lord Potter-Black you may speak."

Harrison began keeping tight control over both his emotions and his magic, "You say that werewolves are mindless beasts. That they are always a threat to wizard kind."

Tanner quipped with a raised eyebrow, "And you don't Potter? You should given that werewolves sided on with You-Know-Who and helped him murder your parents."

Harrison returned, "All of them? I highly doubt this. According to my research only two packs joined Voldemort," There was a resounding flinch from everyone, "The rest stayed neutral rather than getting involved in the affairs of wizards. All you're doing now is pushing them towards this Dark Lord and all future Dark Lords. Eradicating someone for something that wasn't their fault makes you worse than Voldemort."

Gasps filled the courtroom. A few in the Light Section were giving him more appraising looks now. While they hid it well those around him seemed equally impressed.

Harrison pressed on not letting his advantage go to waste, "But we are not here to debate whether or not werewolves join Voldemort," another large flinch that he ignored, "We are here to decide whether or not to dismiss this bill. I say dismiss it for it is illegal and will only insight more violence."

And with that he and Corbin sat back in their seats. There were a few loud murmurings as Tanner did the same. The older male glared at him from across the Courtroom.

A warm hand clapped him on the shoulder as a voice said, "Well done lad."

It was Lord Lestrange. Out of all of the Dark Section he was surprised this was someone who decided to reach out a hand. He figured they would tolerate him at best because of his ties to Corbin.

So not to offend the man he said with a bow of his head in respect, "Thank you, Lord Lestrange."

"You may call me, Corvus," said the older man with a light smile.

Barely withholding a wide grin he said, "Then you may call me Harrison."

Corvus nodded. Then they turned their attention back to the center. Dumbledore had risen and was giving off a disapproving air. Harrison barely withheld a sneer. This man disapproved of him being here but it was he that had tried to hide everything. He who had sent him back to be abused time and time again. If it wasn't for Master Tarloc and Corbin he would be completely clueless to his heritage.

Dumbledore then said, "Now we will vote whether to dismiss this bill or not. All in favor for dismissal?"

Harrison held his breath as he raised his wand. He was not the only one to raise his wand however. Members from all sides raised theirs. In the end only five voted against dismissal. This meant they had won. He had won his first argument.
