AN: Bonnie and Kol have an eventful first night as an official couple
Lines are being drawn, sides are being taken as bridges are being formed and burned.
Song for this chapter:
Killing me softly- by Lauryn Hill.
It is so dang hard to write this from only Bonnie and Kol's POV, I'm slowly trying to work a way to reveal all the things that transpired when they were both otherwise incapacitated but I'm struggling ? forgive me, ya girl is trying tho!
So anyway, if you have seen True Blood you know that EVERY season freaken ended on a cliffhanger that left the audience FREAKING and the one that gave me the most adrenaline/anxiety and pissed me off because I had to wait a whole mother freaken year to watch what happened next was season 6.
That was where Bill and Alcide sniff out the horde of infected vampires as they stroll in ready to fuck shit up. The next season did not disappoint, (well I mean after a few minutes it hella did and that's why I had to make things right in my TB fic lol) the action picks up RIGHT where it left off. Writing these scenes gives me such adrenaline! That's what I wanted to do, so… Ok, here we go!
~ Battle with Bae ~
Bonnie chose the most inconvenient timing to utilize some of the more subtle vampire abilities as they entered into the latest battle against Nik's demon horde of unsired hybrids. Kol was only just beginning to figure out the extent of her abilities, as they appeared more heightened than ordinary vampires. No doubt she was no ordinary vampire with her ability to still read one's aura, not to mention that most vampires had to be physically touching someone to extend mind manipulation to them.
Yet here Bonnie was, fighting a few feet away from him and his baby vamp thought it fitting to issue an illusion to him in the form of a supposed memory of the day Nik manipulated his revenge plot in order to feed Bonnie his blood. He'd slumbered next to her and they'd each had nightmares. When they woke, Bonnie told how she dreamed of the very situation they currently found themselves in. In his arms she'd told him about how she dreamt of his demise amid hybrid battle. She saw him die, only she didn't see the hand slaying.
"Kol," Bonnie said gently, wrapped up in his arms and lap. "Don't get near Alaric. This was my nightmare and I've got a bad feeling about this,"
In the outer world while he was wasting a young hybrid, the mental invasion prompted Kol to snap his head toward Bonnie. "Bonnie!" He exclaimed. "Now is really not the time to distract me with intimate fantasies, darling,"
Another hybrid ran up behind Kol, who flipped around and punched his fist through his heart.
"Are you seriously missing the message?!" She called, audibly annoyed. "I just don't want you to die!"
The history instructor stood by, casually watching the scene play out in front of him.
Bonnie scowled at Kol as she turned around to see a female hybrid rush her way with a machete. After a few carefully choreographed swipes that missed Bonnie, the bitch landed a slice on her stomach. Kol heard his baby vampire cry out and sped over quicker than he's ever moved before he used his hands to dismember the girl, detaching her head and arm.
Bonnie looked at him with the face of bedazzlement at how he protected her so furiously. Desire couldn't help but creep through and she issued another mental setting where she was kissing him with eager desire.
"Not now," his subtly fluttered as he murmured and Bonnie laughed, giving him a coy little wink.
Suddenly, two hybrids descended from the air, one landing on Kol's shoulders, one landed in front of Bonnie, blocking her view of Kol. Clutching the hybrid's shoulders as leverage, she jumped up sideways to kick the female hybrid off of Kol's shoulders, who was strangling him. When she landed, fists and kicks flew at her as she stumbled back. Losing her footing, Bonnie turned her backwards fall into a roll and sprung up with a branch that she plunged through the hybrid's chest, pushing out his most vital organ.
Saltzman heaved a loud sigh. "Where did Klaus get these wolves from?! She's a baby vampire for fuck's sake, how is she stronger?!" He pulled out a round jar filled with lime colored fluid and tossed it at supersonic speed as Kol finished off the last hybrid. The jar landed with a booming blast in Kol's ear and then his vision faded to darkness.
~ Shift to Elena's perspective, early that morning ~
The bloodied bodies of her fellow classmates and townspeople Elena had shaking severely, though she wasn't sure if it was from the rage or the fear. The fear that she'd come so close to losing Damon, or the rage for Klaus's tyranny in commissioning Matt to finish off the Vampire population in order to become a hunter. All she wanted to do was bury her brother and mourn in peace.
Except the Original Hybrid decided to crash the funeral with his demand for Damon's demise to awaken the hunter in Matt. Only he couldn't take Damon without risking losing Elena's precious hybrid spawning blood. Eighteen innocent fellow classmates along with four of the funeral conductors were now dead. The peers of Jeremy had died with Klaus's hybrid blood in them.
Now she had to deal with Klaus being Klaus while Damon was being Damon. That wasn't ever a good combination where the general town population was concerned. Damon had the great idea to turn innocent townsfolk into vampires so Matt could be awakened as a hunter. According to Klaus and Shane's notes, he was only a potential, there was no guarantee it was going to work, yet Klaus was here to enforce the plan be enacted. And if it did work, what could stop him from going after the vampires she knew and loved? Technically, Elena was only on speaking terms with Damon, though her heart still beat for her former companions. Stefan, Caroline… and Bonnie. Especially Bonnie.
These days the former witch hardly spared her a glance and when she did, the look in her green eyes was loaded with such contempt, it hurt down to Elena's core. As much as it tore her apart inside, there was little she could do about it, especially since realizing just how deeply in love with Damon she was. Not that she could understand why, loving him pulled her from her morals, former values, the people that meant a lot to her. But at this point, he was all she had left. There was a soothing comfort in that. She was all alone because Bonnie was now lost to Kol. Her role as the peacekeeper was left abandoned and if Bonnie couldn't reign in Caroline and Stefan, Elena felt there was no other option.
Bonnie was adamant that there was only the sire bond between. If that were true, then taking out Kol would free her of his influence and she'd have Bonnie back in her corner after a brief adjustment period. Elena was going to need Bonnie on her side because all of the Mikaelson's would hunt her down and it would be worse than his search for Katherine, who could maybe help aid. She could literally have Stefan if she wanted. Elena didn't care anymore, as long as she was granted sanctuary. This was the last time the Originals would disrupt her life.
Looking around at Jeremy's funeral turned into a massacre, Elena heaved a deep breath and grabbed Damon's hand as he pulled a chair leg out of his stomach. She glared up at Klaus who was waiting, with a deceivingly patient and pleasant expression. "Ok," she said through gritted teeth. "These soon to be vampires are fair game for Matt. But no more innocent people need to die, Klaus. Give them my blood,"
"Elena, NO," Damon said.
"Damon, you're in no position to give orders. You should really listen to Elena, she is only trying to save your ass," Klaus laughed.
"I'll get my blood ready in blood bags and meet you back here in the afternoon,"
"Fair enough. Damon stays with me until then as a means of leverage. You fail to return and he will be Matt's first victim. We'll wait here. At the most eventful funeral the town has ever seen," he chuckled again.
Caroline zipped in from out of nowhere then. "Come on, I'm getting you out of here," she pulled Elena up and in a flash they were off.
Once at Elena's home, Caroline released her. "Ok what the hell is going on, why would Klaus ruin Jeremy's funeral like that?"
Elena sighed. "Because he's got a thing for her,"
"I don't get it! How-"
"I don't know, Care! He's obsessed with her and he's jealous of Kol so he wants to be the hero to help her with the hunter's curse. Can you get Meredith over here? I have to stop by Alaric's and get the deed to my house in case anything happens to me," Caroline frowned. "Don't worry, he's long gone since Esther was dropped,"
~ Ric's apartment ~
Ric still had his vampire arsenal in his hidden room at his apartment, it was clear he hadn't been back here in some time. Elena supposed he didn't need it now that he was an upgraded Original vampire. In fact, she intended to have Damon clear his shit out, confiscating each vampire weapon he could wield would keep her little circle of vampires safe.
Esther may have designed her own weapon in whatever fucking witchy way, but she had no way of knowing where the rest of the white oak was. Stefan and Damon had burned down Wickery Bridge, but not without a contingency plan in place. The first thing they did when they found out the bridge and it's sign was made from white oak, was confiscate the sign for safekeeping. With twelve white oak stakes fashioned from the sign, the trio was now in possession of another means to end the Originals, all of them. This would be over soon and Bonnie would begin to see things clearly when the dust settled.
Once she was back in her car, she called Alaric, hoping he'd at least hear her out.
"If it isn't the vampire lover. Whatever you want Elena, I can tell you this much: it's not gonna happen," he said when he answered the phone immediately.
"I think there's a way that we can both get what we want, if you still have friends in high places," she said quickly and with enough confidence to catch Ric off guard.
"I'm listening,"
"Matt is supposed to unlock his potential hunter abilities today. But whether or not that fails, I have a plan. As long as you can promise me you'll keep Bonnie safe,"
~ After the blast ~
Before the vervain grenade went off, before the alcoholic instructor rudely interrupted his moment with Bonnie, Kol hadn't a chance to tell her what happened while she rested for the day. The doppelgänger and her vampire pets had asked for a truce, was the news Kol was awakened to. Elijah and Rebekah were convinced (something that Kol attributed to naivety and false notions of humanity) that since they'd coerced the Salvatore's into burning down the bridge, seeing it with their own eyes, there was no longer any possible weapon that could be wielded against their family.
The foolish duo was also preoccupied with their new hostage, the Professor Vampire Shane. Neither Klaus nor Kol believed it wasn't possible to have an underlying motive to their ruse while they had Shane captive. The timing was too convenient, especially after the Gilbert boy's bloody funeral.
So when he opened his eyes and found he was bloodied and tattered laying on a stone slab next to an equally disheveled Bonnie in the woods, he saw Elena handing Saltzman a stake and the depth of the man's subtle giddiness, Kol realized that was no ordinary stake. His vision went red. A truce indeed, she'd set them up! Dishonorable and disloyal this one was. He vowed she'd meet her death at his hands. Judging by the fact that she was here without her undead pets, he guessed she was acting alone. No matter, the Salvatore's would meet their end shortly after Elena's overdue demise.
He sat up and the singing of his vervain soaked restraints hardly burned as he witnessed his girl, his mate, his bonded in her own restraints, still unconscious out of his peripheral vision. Both his wrists snapped and quickly healed as he yanked them out of the ropes. He rushed towards Elena, who in her panic, snatched back the stake and threw it at Kol. He caught it in his hands and sneered at Elena as he advanced on her.
"You're a terrible friend, do you know that? But not to worry, I fully intend to erase that stain that is you on Bonnie's life,"
Before he could do any damage other than grab the twit by her throat, Bonnie's trembling voice floated into his ear. " Kol! "
He flipped around to a sight that nearly imploded his entire being. Saltzman held Bonnie in a way which advertised his preparation to tear her head straight from her shoulders.
"Let her go or I'll rip her fucking head off. I'm stronger, and faster than you, Kol. Be smart about this," he said.
"You should really take your own advice, Ric . What do you think will happen if you kill Bonnie, that this town will know peace? You'd be sorely mistaken. There would be no peace, no mercy for anyone in my path or anything standing me and what I desire most. If Bonnie is fated to meet her end at your hands, then you would have the misfortune of being included in that which I desire most. That would be to see you suffer in agony before I deliver you the most gradual death your impossibly eroded brains could fathom," Kol promised with a stare devoid of any trace of his usual mirth. "I would never risk harming my mate but ending the doppelgänger who was conspiring against us-" he yanked her back by her hair. "It just seems fitting that since her lover killed my mate,"
Just then a blond sped into the center of the chaos in the middle of the woods. "Stop!" Caroline called. "They're link-" Unfortunately, Alaric's vampire reflexes were too reactive. He threw the stake he had right below the center of her chest. Caroline faltered when it struck her, but Kol knew it was only a flesh wound. He took the momentary reprieve in Alaric's focus to snap Elena's head to the side in an instant. Lord that was more satisfying than he'd imagined!
He sped over to Bonnie who had somehow been released from the instructor's grasp. "Did he harm you?" He asked, reaching for her as she squirmed out of her vervain ropes. Alaric was lying on the ground.
She glared at him and jerked out of the way. "You killed Elena! Caroline!" She pushed past him and zipped to Caroline, who was on the ground, sputtering mouthfuls of blood from the stake that impaled her. Bonnie placed her hands around the stake.
"They're linked," she rasped. "No!" She cried when Bonnie tried to pull the stake out. "It burns, so bad,"
"What's wrong, is it somehow laced with vervain?"
"It's a white oak stake. Elena had one as well," Kol said, twirling it in his hand. He turned around to where Saltzman lay, dessicated. Quickly, he zipped and searched his jacket for more stakes, finding a silver gilded stake. The weapon Abby had indicated his mother had the potential to create from white oak ash. But this was the only one, the other two were simply white oak without the chrome covering. It was cause for alarm because this meant there were other stakes still in existence. Either in Elena or her instructor's possession. Except now they were both dead.
Kol stepped back as a whooshing sound was heard, followed by an igniting of flames on his body became visible.
Their lives were linked! As the blond said. Two things he was certain of, he and his siblings were once again the strongest, most fearsome threat in the world and the fact that he was now in possession of an indestructible weapon their enemies could use against his family. Another thing was that, since there were likely more white oak stakes and he didn't know how many, the advantage that killing Elena and Alaric was also a disadvantage because the Salvatore's would come after not only Bonnie, but anyone she held dear as well. That meant her parents, her cousin, likely even Caroline.
"We need to go," he announced, leaning down to pull Bonnie up.
"No! I'm not leaving her. The white oak is hurting her and I can't take it out. What do I do?" She looked up at Kol with pleading eyes.
Kol, who used Original speed to yank it out of Caroline, incited a holler and curses from both young women. "She'll be fine, she just needs vampire blood to replenish her and absorb the white oak. We need to go. Now, Bonnie! "
Instead of understanding his command for urgency, Bonnie bit into her wrist and attempted to feed her from her own veins. Klaus's blood had already been through Bonnie's system, dampening the mate bond they'd created. If her blood flowed into another's system, it would break down the bond even more, causing them each pain and it hadn't even been centuries, let alone weeks. Unwilling to let what was blooming between them dissolve any further so he wouldn't have to hurt her with his bite again anytime soon, he snatched her wrist in his hand.
"No. You can't. It will pain us both-"
"Who gives a shit, I'm gonna to help her!"
" You can't! "
"Then you do it! Do something!"
Giving her his blood wasn't an option either for the very same reason, though Bonnie didn't appear to care to understand that. "We'll take her home. And get Nik to do it. He owes me for overstepping with you," Bonnie's eyes looked down in shame at that. He couldn't blame her, though there wasn't any reason for her to be ashamed for his brother's lecherous jealousy. Instead, he blamed her parents, Abby specifically, for the blessing and curse of such beauty that was designed to command such attention to helpless fools like Niklaus. She was a beautiful woman and she'd had a beautiful daughter and since Bonnie took after her mother a great deal, she'd have to deal with that sort of attention all of her life.
"Ok, we need to go now!"
Now she understands urgency, Kol thought a mental eye roll as he lifted Caroline into his arms and sped to the car. Bonnie was right behind him.
~ The aftermath ~
When they burst through the doors of the mansion, Abby was conveniently present.
"What happened?" She asked when she saw Kol carrying in Caroline.
"She's been pierced with a white oak stake," he said as Nik came rushing into the living room. He laid her on the couch and backed up against the door. Caroline was still bleeding and growing pale. Bonnie hovered over her, grabbing her hand and stroking her hair.
"What happened to you? You look like you got thrashed in a furnace,"
Abby was referring to their tattered, post vervain bomb state.
"We're fine Mom, it's Caroline I'm worried about,"
Caroline opened her mouth in an attempt to whisper something. "No, no, just save your energy," Bonnie shushed her.
"And why did you bring her here? Why haven't you or the little Bennett healed her with your own blood?" Nik posed a distinct rhetorical question solely for the fact he was just that much of an arse.
Kol grinned. "I'm afraid I have no intentions to put my girlfriend or I through any pain that would disrupt our mate bond,"
Watching his face fall as far as it did gave Kol the sort of satisfaction that only scratching an itch the proper way could give.
"She's nothing to me. She won't entertain me, why would I help her?" The hybrid remarked with a scoff.
"Please, Klaus, she's my friend," Bonnie said, urgency and worry prevalent in her delivery.
His brother stalked over and knelt next to Bonnie and Caroline, drilling his annoyingly blue eyes into his mate's alluring green ones. Their eyes locked for a moment too long and the black veins under Kol's eyes began to bubble.
Abby cleared her throat. "Bonnie, where did the white oak stake come from?"
Bonnie snapped her head to her mother's attention. "I don't know, Elena had one and so did Ric," her eyes shifted down. "They're dead,"
Abby's eyes widened to saucers and she waved Bonnie over. "I need all the details,"
As Bonnie left Caroline's side to join her mother, Kol took her hand and pulled her towards him. Though she was covered in soot, blood, and dirt, she still held enticing beauty and strength in his eyes. His hands slid over her and cupped her cheeks. "You were extraordinary tonight. My faith in you only grows stronger with all that you show me,"
Bonnie smiled and nuzzled her ashy but still soft as a pillow cheek against his dirty fingers, before she joined Abby, who gave an eyeroll and an ugh as she led Bonni away.
He turned his attention to Caroline finishing up her hybrid blood.
"I followed Elena, I knew she wasn't telling me something and she dosed Damon and Stefan with vervain so she could meet Mr. Saltzman in the woods and hand over Kol," she was saying.
"Caroline, beauteous Caroline," Nik said gently. Kol rolled his eyes. Please, the blond was quite an average beauty, who looked the best when she was being uptight and modest with Klaus, as if she didn't have an animalistic attraction for werewolves. Their blue eyes matched and he sucked her into compulsion. "Would your companions think it characteristic of you if you had spent the better part of your evening entertaining my company?"
The desperation just continued to seep from his brother.
Caroline nodded. Kol smirked, in full judging mode. That was what made girls like her so undesirable, it was just too easy to get what one wanted out of her because she wanted it too. There was no build up or anticipation and many times he'd been through a handful of lovers a night, only ever calling on them one more time if he decided to. Usually he chose not to since it posed no challenge.
Now with Bonnie, as much as she wanted him, she fought tooth and nail against her emotions. It drove him mad and he could hardly contain how much he desired her, considering she'd only let him touch her, taste her once.
"Go home, forget this night happened," Nik said to Caroline. "You've been with me all night, to finally assuage your broken heart. You've had a smashing time with me, only now you're conflicted over your feelings regarding me,"
Kol scoffed as Caroline sped away. "That's an odd way of ensuing her safety, considering the doppelgänger and the history buff are dead. The toddler vamps may very well be after her to spite Bonnie,"
"It's a non issue, you can use your sire bond to keep the little witch safe. As for Caroline, she possesses a natural ability to find herself in the midst of life threatening situations as much as she finds her way out of them. Her many human companions would welcome her into their homes as well. Bonnie is an easier, more obvious target,"
"I won't be using the sire bond to hold Bonnie against her will and you won't compel her either," Kol said as he strolled from the living room. "In fact, I think it's time she utilizes her own free will when it comes to this family. Rebekah has already compelled her not to keep important information from her sensitive heart. Once I get her to reverse it, she goes back on vervain,"
"You're going to release her?" Klaus asked, following Kol through the mansion. They stopped in the ballroom where he met Bonnie.
"She's still my mate, Niklaus. I have every right to kill you if you step in. Which I will gladly do," Kol said with a smile.
"And how will you tame her, Kol? Or keep her safe from her own impulses and naivety since you don't plan on compelling her either?"
Kol wondered what the fuck Nik wanted. It was he who planted the idea in Bonnie's head that he needed to release her anyway. The things he'd said when he fed Bonnie his blood, his everyday reminder that their reluctant relationship was based on false notions of a sire bond. Why he seemed to suddenly change his mind now made little sense to Kol, still he knew the affections Bonnie was beginning to show were genuine. That was all he needed.
"She's my girlfriend, Nik. I have no wish to tame her,"
"Excuse me, tame? What am I, wild animal?" Bonnie scoffed as she walked in. She nodded her head to Kol. "Big Mama needs to see you for top secret shit she won't discuss with me. It's ironic, isn't it? How you were always left out and now I get to know how that feels," she finished with a bitter smile.
"It's always been to protect you," Kol muttered as he reached out to massage her shoulder, only Bonnie dodged his attempt.
"Right, protect people by keeping them in the dark, because that's always worked out so well. It's only my undead life that's at risk,"
Kol popped his knuckles. "I'm sure you'll thank us later," he grumbled as he left the ballroom.
"What?!" Bonnie snapped when Klaus just stared at her.
"I just thought you would run off to Kol's room by now. Dare I say you're beginning to enjoy my company?"
Bonnie walked up to him, standing awfully close, Klaus thought. She beckoned him to lean down with a finger. "Come here," she whispered. He did, steadying his breaths. "Don't flatter yourself. You know I can't stand you,"
Klaus suppressed the shiver that threatened to graze through his body. Instead he straightened his back and glared down at her.
"Caution, darling," he said softly. "Toying with fire will get you burned,"
"I'll be the one to burn your wishy washy self. I thought you wanted me to be free of the sire bond?" Klaus opened his mouth but Bonnie continued. "Save it. I see you Klaus, you just want to control me and use Kol to control me too. But that's all going to come to an end, soon. You won't see me around here unless I choose to be here,"
Bonnie flipped her hair nearly in his face as she turned around. Klaus flipped her back around and grabbed her shoulders. "It would be in your best interest to stick around. Best to be on the side of the Originals than go up against them,"
She shook free of his grasp. "I'll still have an Original on my side. Maybe Kol and I will go away together,"
"You want free will, fine. That's perfect even," his eyes ensnared her into his compulsion. "As long as Kol never finds out about our little moment while he was incapacitated. You are free to think and feel whatever way you want to feel, even when it comes to me and the loathsome ways you imagine destroying me. I know the more violently you think of me is only because the intensity of your forbidden fantasies starring me moves something deep within you," he smirked and let out a slight chuckle. "Your body is crying out for my essence within you again. Maybe even another part of me in you,"
When he released her from his compulsion, a soft moan was stuck in her throat, prompting Bonnie to swing her right hand up to his left cheek. Without missing a beat, he caught her wrist before any contact was made, and sneered at her in a challenge.
She grabbed the lapels of his jacket and yanked him even further down towards her soot-smeared face. "The only reason I'd ever stoop so low as to indulge those fantasies would be to break you. And I can't lie, the thought of doing that really does turn me on," she shoved him back. "But Kol is really good at taking my mind off of things that stress me. Like you,"
His eyes darkened at that and he had half a mind to shove his fist through her chest to give her heart a warning squeeze. "Yes, Kol. Your sham of a relationship is a mighty inspirational love story, and we're all jealous of it," He grumbled at her before he turned to leave. She knew very well what she was doing and it was clear she was beginning to enjoy it. It seemed like the more time she spent with Kol, the more he rubbed off on her, likening her to cruel mind games that he was fond of. It made him feel festive, as if the night was too young to waste. In need of some entertainment, he decided Caroline's memory of the night she'd had should have some truth to it.
Bonnie went to wait inside Kol's room, sick of Klaus and his power plays. Abby and Kol were still in talks about things they wouldn't yet disclose to her, and she couldn't discern whether or not it was about Shane, her vampirism, the white oak, or what to do now about the Salvatore's revenge plot. There was only a limited amount of things Abby would disclose to Bonnie about ridding her of her vampirism for fear Kol would sire bond or compel it out of her.
She sighed. All she knew was that Shane did turn, Klaus's mission to kill Damon failed with Elena's martyrdom after crashing Jeremy's funeral and massacring (and turning) the funeral goers with Elena's blood. But ensuring Matt slaughtered them all is how she was able to get Kol back so soon.
She had Kol back. In spite of everything that happened with Elena and Alaric, that was the thought that comforted her the most. She had Kol. For how much longer she wasn't certain and it was still so complicated because he'd just killed her former best friend. A little over a month prior, Damon had killed Bonnie in cold blood, as a way to preserve Elena's life. She slept with him that very night, apparently she was too distraught and in need of the kind of comfort that only sexual gratification could provide. Who fucking did that?! Besides an attention seeking, never satisfied, soaking up the limelight, easy-
Bonnie shook her head free of those thoughts. Elena was a friend, that was true in the past but now she wasn't worth the time or guilt that was consuming Bonnie's brain. What she chose to do with her ex's brother was her business, only Bonnie couldn't see herself doing that. She was quite certain, mate bond or not, Kol would kill them both if she did anything like that. Another reason why it was important that the in-order-to-save-Kol -from -the -hunter's-curse kiss remain free of his knowledge. She'd had enough of jealous boyfriends for a lifetime.
~ Between the sheets ~
Killing me softly by Lauren Hill
" Strumming my pain with his finger, singing my life with his words. Killing me softly with his song, killing softly. With his song, telling my whole life with his words, killing me softly. With his soooong…"
Singing her heart out, harmonizing with Lauren on the breakdown in Kol's shower with bomb water pressure while her music blasted was the therapy that Bonnie needed at the moment. She needed to wash the day's, hell even the week's events off of her. Kol was likely off in another shower somewhere in the mansion, since it had been a half out of blissful waterfalls cascading over her form. Her skin felt refreshed and stuffy as she stepped out of the shower into the steaming bathroom and into the robe that was laid out for her.
When she entered Kol's room again, there was an outfit laid out for her. Black skinny pants with a cowl neck tank and -a black leather jacket. She smirked at the thought of matching outfits with Kol.
"Your singing voice is absolutely darling," the devil himself said from behind her.
Gasping, Bonnie spun around, nothing that as she guessed, he was squeaky clean as well, only dressed in jeans. "How can you still sneak up on me?!"
A shirtless and mighty toned Kol strolled over to Bonnie, reaching for her as he neared. She slapped his hand away. "Fuck off, mate! You killed my best friend,"
"Don't be that way, lovely," he said as he pulled the ties of her robe. Her brain ordered her hands to stop him, only they lifted to slide up his taut chest muscles instead. Then he peeled the robe off her shoulders, dragging it down her arms. "So many things we can discuss later. Right now I only wish to hear your lovely voice again. Will you sing for me?"
When her robe dropped to the ground, revealing a form stark naked as the day she emerged from her mother's womb, Kol swept a longing gaze over her as the veins began swirling. Thickening the atmosphere was the scent of his arousal, wafting into her nostrils in a grueling challenge, daring her to refuse him.
She figured she could be mad about the Elena situation later. If that slut could get her freak on while Bonnie was transitioning, why couldn't she? Besides, monumental happenings that felt far too overdue were underway at last and if she didn't have Kol, she might develop hysteria and massacre the town. The point of no return had been breached.
Knowing her sweet surrender was nigh, Bonnie looked up at him, matching the vampire visage of titillation. Kol grinned through fangs as he dipped his head. He had every intention of making her body sing in ways it couldn't have ever fathomed as he overcame her and lowered her to his bed.
Her body was immaculate. Tight, smooth, and with the faint fuzz of pubic hair barely protruding from a not too far past waxing. Carmel, buttery soft skin against his porcelain torso felt so utterly sensational as he pressed her into the bed, kissing her deeply. He rubbed his hands over every dip and curve, gently priming her for what was to come. Kol kissed down her neck, eliciting soft moans while he rubbed circles around her thighs. His smooches traveled right down the middle of her chest all the way to under her belly. When his lips passed the fatty tissue of her breasts, she angled her left nipple towards his mouth. He softly shushed her and continued towards her belly.
Underneath her belly, Kol kissed and licked in patterns, tickling a squirm inducing area. She let out a soft yelp, giggling as she looked down at him with her bottom lip between her teeth. She waited eagerly, now that he'd reached her womanhood. When Kol only grabbed her ass and squeezed with both hands, Bonnie whimpered and arched up into him, silently begging him to touch her there.
"Bonnie," he whispered as he kissed down her thighs. "I mean to take my time with you,"
As much as he burned for her, he wanted her purring in his hands before she met a trembling conclusion. He directed her to fondle her breasts. Bonnie squeezed her nipples between her thumbs as she watched while his fingers gripped her backside and slid his tongue over her thighs. He licked at the wound his intense love bite had created at her femoral artery and Bonnie squirmed, almost squeezing her legs shut.
Kol paused and glanced up at her with a dark gaze. "Open them. Wider,"
She swallowed hard and spread her legs, bringing her knees slightly up. This gave Kol a better view of the sopping pink between her folds. A drop of her fluids leaked down to greet her bumhole which was also in full view. A mouth watering sight it was, he wanted to taste every inch of her.
He licked a trail from the back of her left knee all the way down to her bite scar while Bonnie gasped in anticipation until his mouth finally covered her sex mound, slipping his tongue into it. He swiped up and down, loving the flavor of his baby vampire, and the sounds his movements commanded of her. Kol separated her folds further with his fingers and focused in on her clit and the surrounding areas, elevating her pleasure to a plateau of his choosing.
"Ohhhhhh," she moaned, rocking her sex against his oral orifice. She was going to cum if he kept that up and he knew it. He wanted her too. In fact, he decided that undoing her with his tongue was only the first item on the agenda, they had all night! He picked up his pace, lapping relentlessly with varying amounts of pressure, making her writhe against his until she stopped him. "Kol, wait, wait,"
He lifted his head up. "What is it?"
She shrugged her shoulders, as if embarrassed. It dawned on Kol that maybe she'd only experienced the sensation once before after their movie night and it was still new to her. It was daunting to give into then, as it was now. He knew he could get her there, only now he was compelled to discover what it was to feel her from the inside when she reached that peak. He'd be the only person to ever have the pleasure.
"It's alright, love," he kissed her gently. "Let me show you, I promise you'll be fine," Kol stood up, then slowly removed the button on his pants.
"You're going to use your meat and two veg on me now?" She asked, unable to remove her eyes from the bulge in his pants. Then they came down.
As much as Kol wanted to laugh at Bonnie's banter stealing, he suspected she'd use the humor reprieve to let the mood spoil. He tilted her gaze towards his eyes and locked her in that amber stare. "Yes," he said decisively. "If that's alright with you."
"Ok,"
Bonnie felt she spoke too damn soon when his boxer briefs slid to the floor. It was one thing to see Kol shirtless but to see him absolutely butt naked while he was rock hard was another. Bonnie couldn't help but to stare in equal parts awe and terror at his tool and freak a bit. There was no way that thing was going in her!
"Oh hell no, you're not poking me with that," she covered her face with her hands.
Kol removed her hands and cradled her face, searching her eyes. "Do you trust me?"
Bonnie looked down at it and swallowed hard. He refocused her gaze on himself again. " Trust me, little love,"
We're doing this, Bennett, quit acting like a little bitch! She shook her head, snapping out of her daze and stiffened when he attempted to guide her onto her back. "I just don't wanna be on the bottom. I don't like it like that," she murmured.
His heart dropped. Suddenly he began to wonder if this was too soon for her, considering all she'd been through.
"I still wanna do it!" she looked up and saw the expression on Kol's face. "I just wanna- can I-?" She motioned for him to lie down. Still burning with desire as much as trepidation, she straddled his waist, fumbling slightly but after a moment, she felt him sliding inside of her as she descended down on him. "Oh my God," she whispered. Kol hissed as he filled her up all the way, stretching her walls. His entry wasn't unwelcome, just foreign and a lot to handle. She felt awkward and figured she should move. Kol, sensing her uneasiness, gently pulled her down to meet his lips in a mind numbing kiss.
That sparked her mood all over again, his kiss was easily her weakness. She grinded on him with a little guidance until she was confident enough to move on her own. Releasing his lips, she clutched his shoulders then the sheets he rested on for leverage as she adjusted her bounce to add rocking to it.
Feeling the collective build up of their pleasure had Kol wondering why on earth he'd taken this long to enter the space in which he now realized he never wanted to leave. He always knew it would be exquisite satisfaction but the reality bested the fantasy. Even better was when Bonnie really started putting the work in by clutching the headboard to receive deeper and firmer strokes as Kol undulated upwards.
Soon the sensation built up again that caused her to halt Kol earlier. He was going to take her there and there would be no going back.
Only she slowed down to his dismay, refusing them each the pleasure. Nooo! He gripped her hips, guiding her motions again. "Bonnie, don't stop," he urged breathlessly. He sat up and ground his hips up into her to help her movements. He needed her to fall apart at his behest, he was aching to see this through.
Bonnie nodded and the sensation kept slowly building in her core. It felt amazingly warm and pleasant, just sensational, really and the feeling kept expanding from her core through her body. "Kol, it feels… so good. I… oh… ohhhm…"
It made him tingle the way she said his name and told him how it felt when she started falling apart. He held her in his arms, breasts against his face, while he pulled a nipple between his teeth as she began to lose control over her senses.
Every moan, every sigh elicited by Kol's touch was music to his ears right up to the main event where Bonnie vocalized her most lovely melody yet, blessing his audio senses. A soft drawn out oohhh as her legs trembled and she attempted to steady her breathing. Her pleasure quickly became his pleasure as he reached his own climax, gripping the flesh on her rump tightly while his heart raced with the adrenaline of finally being blessed with just a piece of what he'd yearned for since he met Bonnie Bennett. And still he was determined to gain so much more.
~ The afterglow ~
Bonnie's legs trembled as she cooed out her last moans. Kol swiped his hand down gripping her mound. She lamented softly, clutching him close. "All mine," he whispered. "Forever,"
"I know," Bonnie pulled his chin and kissed him softly, but passionately. He had told no lies when he said being with him was a pleasure like never before and she found she burned for him in a way she hadn't anticipated. "But is it weird that technically I never broke up with Jeremy? I just started seriously avoided him,"
"The moment you kissed me for the first time, it was over between you two. He's in your past, the future is you and I," he laid on top of Bonnie's lower half, wrapping his arms around her waist and resting his cheek against her stomach.
Kol really just swooped in and pulled his girl out from under Jeremy. And made sure no other man could ever touch her, not without facing his deadly wrath. That had to be borderline obsessive , Bonnie thought. But after the kind of sex that ensured her life would never be the same again, she didn't think she was immune to the addiction that was Kol either.
"Don't speak of that bugger any longer. Damelo una vez mas, " Kol propped himself up and began dropping kisses on her stomach.
Suddenly conscious of the other housemates, Bonnie squealed and snatched the sheet over her form. "Someone is going to hear me!"
"Let them hear, darling. There's no need to be ashamed of our passion. I've brought you great pleasure, haven't I?"
She nodded, understanding the craving that was slowly taking over her body. She leaned up to kiss Kol again but he pulled back. "Then let it out, love. Release all your emotions unto me so I may help you bear the weight of your burdens. Are you aware yet, that you're not alone in this? That I will never leave your side?"
"It's gonna take some getting used to," she admitted, playing coy. "I'm glad we did this, but I'm really not used to enjoying this. I've never even wanted to have sex with anyone. Until the night I met you," As she expected, a stupid ass smirk decorated his features.
So many conversations still needed to be had about the things that went down this past week. Yes, Bonnie and Kol were safe, but there was a ton of reconciliation required in more than one aspect of her life.
She laid back down and turned to her side, contemplatively. With two hands under her cheek, she appeared ready to fall asleep. Kol snatched her upper hand and flipped her on her back again.
"Don't hide from me," he issued, softly with dark heat in his eyes. "I want you," Kol slowly pulled the sheet off Bonnie, once again exposing her anatomy. "To sing me that lovely melody again,"
Unable to resist, Bonnie feared she was being reduced to a fucking puddle of despair with how good Kol made her feel. For the first time, fear and trepidation wasn't at the forefront of her mind when she thought of the way she wanted to lose herself in Kol.
~Ungodly hours~
Hours later, a knock at Kol's door woke Bonnie. Kol wasn't in his bed, nor could she sense he was in the adjoining restroom. She wrapped a flat sheet around her torso, tucking it under her shoulders and answered the door.
With black veins crawling underneath the skin on her face, Elena opened her mouth, baring newborn fangs. "Hi Bonbon. Can I come in?" She lifted a boot to her chest and kicked as hard as she could. Bonnie went flying across the room as Elena stepped in slowly, kicking the door closed behind her. She sniffed the air and scoffed.
"Smells like you were in need of comfort last night," she said, craning her neck to the side. "All while your supposed best friend laid in transition. Karma didn't miss me at all, that sorry bitch!"
AN: Take that, Elena! You awful friend lol she reminds me of all those girls who ditch their friends for their boyfriends. Lame-o's! so I wasn't expecting Bonnie to change up her mind like that, but she figured it was time to get her freak on ? and then Elena busting in like she's the one who can kick some hybrid ass.
Girl, no!
Anyway, once Kol and Bonnie can pull themselves away from each other enough to focus on a conversation, there is a lot to address!
