Strolling through the enchanted forest an odd sensation traveled down her spine. It felt as if she was being followed something that did not belong in these woods. Whenever she turned to see what pursued her she was only met with her own shadow. Spinning to start her walk again her gaze flickered to shadows of the trees around her. Unlike the trees in which the shadows were cast from the shadows weaved as if blowing in the wind. Running a hand through her magenta locks she smirked to herself. Training her eyes on one of the shadows she spoke her tone that of a princess.
"You were foolish to come to Arendelle, there's no use in hiding heartless."
With a flick of her wrist, a weapon appeared in a flash. The weapon was a sword its blade a glowing purple growing darker as get closer to the handle. The grip itself was steel wrapped in what looked to be brown leather. The guard was shaped like a six-pointed snowflake.
Suddenly the shadows rushed for her before she could react. Just before the monsters could strike they faded into smoke. Another heartbeat passed as she saw the Eternal Flame fly over her shoulder. From the corner of her eye watched as her father stride from a dark vortex. Approaching he gave a hushed sigh scanning the area like a hawk. As one of the scampering beasts tried to escape he snapped.
In a blink, the creature burst into flames burning into ash. As the flame burned down he grabbed her by the forearm. With a gentle tug, he led her to forward to the vortex darkness with little opposition. Leaving the portal they appeared inside a large tent their steps silent. Inside the tent sat a woman clad in a white dress her back to them. Without a word she slowly took a sip from a cup of tea. Smiling he sat beside the woman smiling faintly.
"Good afternoon dear." He whispered sweetly
A cold breeze seemed to ripples from her as she spun his direction. Vibration blue eyes glared holes through him his crimson locks shaking as he twitched. He knew when his former queen wife was not happy, and she was not happy. With a slight frown, Elsa raised a hand ruffling the pink hair of her daughter.
"I'm glad you're safe Iduna."
Smiling, she leaned into her mother's touch. She had been warned of the monsters that had recently appeared in the forest. The heartless as her father called them didn't seem to be as much of a threat as he implied. Those she had encountered were rather unintelligent easily dispatched with her magic. Then again with fire and frost at your fingertips, there's not much you can easily fight.
Suddenly the ground began to shake as a bird's cry ripped through the air. Like the wind, they rushed from the tent. As they stepped out it appeared on the distant horizon. A massive firebird glowing like the midday sun. Elsa froze as a dark portal opened beside them and a familiar threat appeared.
"I will make you a bargain your highness," Maleficent stated her ominously cold
"What kind of bargain?" Elsa growledr
Frightened Iduna moved closer to her mother clutching her arm. Slowly Axel spun to the queen of shadows. Sending her hard stare he could read her sinister mind as the gears turned. This witch wanted his daughter but the reasoning was a mystery. His wondering was cut short as a young man dashed passed them.
He wore a black, hooded jacket that was unzipped, with short sleeves; with a studded crown and emblem on each sleeve, H buttons, and a checkered pattern at the hem. Underneath, he wears a black shirt with a red V-neck. He wears black cropped trousers that are hemmed with the same checkered pattern as the jacket, black glovelettes on each hand, and black high-top boots. His hair was like that of Riku's but several shades darker.
Leaping from the tree branches he reached the firebird. With Flick of his wrist, a sword appeared shredding the firebird with ease. Raising his free hand he crushed the shards of the firebird before they could hit the treetops. Flipping mid descent rushed toward the rock littered ground.
Before he could crash into the rocks a knight's shield soared across the sky. With a kick, he rebounded off the shield. Jumping to the tree branch he snatched the shield from the air. Smirking smugly he lifted the shield above his head in victory.
"Told you that would work!"
"Fine fine I'll admit it you were right."
From the tree line stepped what looked like a teenage Goofy. Something seemed off with the look of the king's captain of the guard. The captain's green sweater was replaced by a deep red hoodie. Around his neck hung a summoning charm with what appeared to be some sort of atomic symbol in its core.
The young "Goofy" raised his hand in a silent signal. With a lazy toss, the mysterious youth tossed the shield to its owner. With a hop " Goofy " caught the shield if catching a frisbee. As the youth lept to the ground Maleficent sneered in annoyance. Letting out a snake-like she vanished inside a dark portal. As the portal closed the duo charged where she once stood the mysterious young man punching a nearby tree in frustration.
"Damn it! I'm getting sick of her slipping through our fingers." He snapped
The young " Goofy" placed a soothing hand on his shoulder frowning. Letting out a sigh the youth tapped his head against the tree. Slowly Axel approached them his brow-raising curiously. Sensing him the youth spun to face him his face emotionless. Turning his attention to Axel the young " Goofy " smiled slightly.
"Uh, greetings how goes it?" The young knight mumbled
"Don't give me that rigmarole, we know you're world jumpers." Axel snapped
The young "Goofy" slowly glanced at his companion nodding toward Axel. Studying the retired keyblade warrior the youth's eyes widened. With a gust of wind, the youth pulled out a small journal. With a flick of pages, he opened the journal to a certain page. Studying the page he grinned faintly before closing his journal.
"As you request Master Axel." The youth stated
