In a flash, the hooded man moved. He was in front of Duncan before they could blink. Raising his blade he prepared to plunge it into the warrior's heart. As the weapon was about to make contact a golden arrow hit his hand. Grunting his hand gripped the key tighter spinning to his attacker.

"You're awful brave red." He growled

"This not that I'm brave I'm just loyal to me friends!" She spat firing another arrow

Chuckling an orb of shadow formed in his palm. Firing the sphere he turned back to his target. He was met with a solid headbutt knocking him backward. With a curse, he fell to one knee.

"Nice try kid." The masked man muttered

Radiating a green glow he slowly stood. His eye locked on Duncan he charged. Their blades clashed as the figure prepared to strike him. Holding off his attacker the warrior looked to his mother. Shaking from her daze the master spun her blade summoning a storm of lightning.

As the electric spell crashed a storm of arrows rained down. Once the last arrow had fallen Duncan moved. Darkness harnessed into his blade he attacked the hooded man. Delivering a flurry of slashes he jumped back.

As the final slash had been launched the figure moved. Raising his hand he absorbed the darkness from the attacks. Grabbing Duncan by the collar he held him off the ground. Holding him he plunged his blade into his chest.

"I win boy." The figure announced

As Duncan fell to the ground a stream of dark energy leaked out. Balanced on the blade of the hooded figure's weapon sat a shard. It was diamond-shaped and pitch-black. The shard balanced on its point as he tossed it into his hand.

"Well, I got what I came for." The figure mumbled

Turning to leave he was met with the sight of Merida. She held her weapon in the form of a Celtic Long Sword. She held her weapon in a death grip ready to fight this stranger to the death.

"Let him go, Merida, there's no point in fighting now," Aqua yelled

"Nice doing business with you ladies." The figure said vanishing

From her place in front of her son, Aqua watched Namine stumble out of a dark corridor. As she knelt Roxas stepped out behind her. As the blonde mystic examined the injured warrior Roxas closed the gate.

Taking the blonde warrior's hand Namine smiled. With a flick of their held hands, the Two Become One appeared. Raising the weapon they cast Curaga on the injured warrior. Grunting he rolled attempting to sit up.

"Easy kid just take it slow," Roxas whispered placing a hand on his shoulder

"You still hurt don't force yourself to move too fast," Namine said softly

PLacing a soothing hand on his shoulder the mystic held him in place. He eased himself back down turning to his mother. The master nodded in agreement. Her eyes moved to the blonde pair smiling in relief.

"I'm glad you're here." She whispered

Sat on a tall pole Lucas watched the people below. From his vantage point, he could see the entire area. Below was the dock full of visiting ships from other worlds. No ship shared a design with another only having the slight similarity.

The nearest ship was a golden ship with worn chipped letters on the side. Around the ship stood Yazora and his traveling companions. The Kingdom Key's recent chosen took in the aged ship. With a swipe, he cleared the dust from the name on the ship.

"Excalibur?" He asked reading the ship's name

"This ship slices through the darkness."

From around the ship came Cid leaning on a cane. Walking stiffly he made his way over smiling with pride. With a tap of the side of the ship the hatch opened.

"So you did have a ship good job, old man." Iduna mumbled

Cid's eye twitched as he turned walking down the dock. He was in no mood to argue with these children. He did as promised in giving them a new ship his job was done.

"So we'll be using this ship for now huh?" Max mumbled

"Using this ship is a great honor," Yozora announced touching his forehead against the ship

Forehead resting against the ship he could feel it. The presence of multiple strong warriors inside the vessel. It felt almost as if a powerful army had once boarded it. Opening his eyes he saw someone he hadn't seen since that day.

"Keep getting stronger kid I know you can." said the image of Sora

Stumbling back Yozoa blinked his tears away. As he blinked the man who bequeathed him the Kingdom Key vanished. As the image faded he turned to his companions. Smiling his eyes glowed with renewed determination.

"Alright, guys let's head out," Yozoa announced

Boarding the ship Iduna turned seeing the swish of Lucas' cape. At the sight, she smiled stepping inside the ship. Once inside the hatched closed. As they slipped into the cockpit the ship roared to life.

Olivia smiled as a crimson swirl cloaked her form. A pair of arms slowly engulf her in a soothing embrace. As the bloody cloud drifted she turned. She found Lucas grinning at her.

"So they're gone ?" She asked

"Most likely to their next world by now." He mumbled

"That's great, I bet it's nice getting off this world." She said quietly

At the sound of footsteps, they jumped apart. Behind them stood Cloud with what looked like his Fenrir motorcycle. The bike was red in place of the black. His face was set in a sad smile as he looked their way.

"Maybe you should find out." He announced tossing the keys

"Papa, are you sure it's safe for us too?" Olivia started to ask the keys landing in her hand

"We'll be fine a few stray Shadows aren't any trouble," Cloud replied

Before they could question him further he walked away. Turning to her lifelong friend Olivia rushed to the bike. Reaching it Lucas couldn't help but smile. He could tell his mother had chosen the coloring, Deep red and bright gold.

"Looks like we're going off-world after all."She whispered
