Flipping Dunstan dodged a dark fireball. As the spell rushed towards them Merida jumped. Raising her bow she fired an arrow. Rushing through the air its tip was a water spiral. On contact, the arrow extinguished the flame. Looking at her companion she glared.

"Watch where you fire those bloody spells." She snapped

"I knew they'd be alright with you there," Duncan yelled back

"Focus!"

A kick to the head sent Duncan stumbling. Spinning to counter-attack he was met with a surprise. The Kingdom Key blocked their attacks. Caught off guard they jumped back.

As the weapon moved it clicked. This was not the Kingdom Key. Between them stood Vanitas weapon at the ready. Taking in his surroundings he huffed in annoyance. With a flick of his wrist, he dismissed his blade.

"Where is Sora's disciple?" He yelled

"Why so you can you kill him too?" Kairi snapped

Riku was the first to move summoning his Braveheart. Before he strike Vanitas a blue shield appeared. From the dark corridor, Vanitas summoned Mal appeared. The sorceress moved to stand behind Vanitas. Smiling she took in the group.

The sound of a Gummyship rang through the area. The clouds parted and the Excalibur appeared. As the ship descended Yozora jumped. Landing in front of Vanitas he summoned his weapon. The twin keys began to glow their wielders jumping back.

"What did you do!?" Yozora snapped

"Blame the villain real original!" Vanitas growled back

"Sorry to interrupt but you wanna see this," Mal stated

At her words the rivals noticed it. A swirled beam of gold and black lights. The beacon traveled from their blades. They watch and rush to the secret spot. The familiar white double doors appeared in a blink.

"What is the name of Mickey Mouse?" Dunstan muttered

"The door to the darkness," Xion whispered

"The last place he thought we would look," Riku said grinning

Looking at the familiar doors Riku paused. The spectral image of Sora stood in the tree's shade. He stood smiling at his childhood rival. The specter motioned to the doors with a wave. Turning Kairi she pointed her gaze at Sora. At the sight of him tears formed in her eyes.

"Sora!" Cried rushing to him

Reaching him she moved to embrace him. The warmth of his light-filled her heart even now was a comfort. As they stepped apart he smiled. Looking at the group he spoke with the joyful voice she loved.

"Looks like you're doing well." He said smiling

"I miss you." She whispered sadly

"I'm sorry, I broke my promise." He replied heartbrokenly

She knew what he meant. He promised they would always be together. She knew this wasn't his fault. She knew who was to blame. Spinning on her toes she summoned her keyblade. The blade appeared in flash. She hadn't been able to summon it since his death.

"Don't," Sora said simply

Letting the blade vanish she sighs. She understood his message. Revenge was not the answer. Smiling sadly she turned back to the door. Smiling sadly she delicately touched the door.

"Let's get moving." She announced

With a sigh, Lupin stepped from a Dark Corridor. On his back, he carried Lucas like a backpack. The gunslinger barely clutching to life. The warrior approached the familiar blue throne. Sat atop the throne was the god of death, Hades. The Lord of the Underworld smiled sadly at the sight of his former guard.

"Nice seein' ya again kid," Hades muttered

"Sorry boss but I'm not here to visit," Lupin announced

With a grunt, the wolf warrior dropped Lucas. As the cloaked fighter fell Hades sat up. The lord's eyes moved to the fighter's chest. Black smoke flowed from it like a shadowy cloud. At the sight, Hades clicked his tongue.

"Mind telling me why you brought the dying guy?" Hades asked

"I thought you said he could help us," Olivia muttered

With a jolt, Lucas seized up curling into himself. Glaring at the bruiser Hades waved his hand making a ticking clock appear. The numbers glowed a menacing red. Returning to his throne he sighed sadly.

"Kid my hands are tied his times about to run out."

"You like making deals, give him half my remaining life."

The Lord of the dead slowly approaches her. His eyes studied her with a mischievous smile. With a flick of his hand, a replica of Olivia formed. The clone's colors were inverted her gloves spiked. Returning to his throne Hades smirked.

"Tell ya what, give me a show, and I'll revive your boyfriend." He announced

At the snap of his fingers, the clone moved. Lupin and Shelke jumped onto a nearby pillar. Smiling Olivia threw a flame-cloaked punch. Her punch slammed into the replica's attack. On contact, a shockwave rippled through the room.

"This is going to be amusing," Hades whispered

Smiling to himself he raised a hand. Waving his hand over Lucas a red smoke covered him. With a gasp, the gunslinger shot up. Sitting up he turned to fire his gun. With ease, he shot the clone right between the eyes.

"One of you is enough." He coughed out

With a gasp, Olivia ran to him. Dropping to her knees she cradled him. Suddenly she felt weak her strength decreased. Chuckling the death God summoned a box. Snagging it she flipped it open. Inside sat a pair of purple scaled gloves with metal knuckles.

"Why give me these?" She asked befuddled

"Simple, because I can," Hades announced

"We need to get moving who knows what they're up to," Lucas grunted out

His three companions nodded in understanding. Slowly the bruiser and the gunslinger helped each other up. Jumping from the pillar Lupin formed a dark corridor. As they departed Shelke spoke to Lupin.

"Just where are we going." She asked

"Home," Lupin said quickly
