What started out as a poem based on my friend Tishen's Charoix artwork evolved into something else. This is a bittersweet and contemplative fic, featuring some very old Akko and Diana looking back at their lives, and thinking about what little future they still have left together. And what might await them after they pass away. What might the leaves of the trees tell them?
