A one-shot from episode 7.13, cobbled together over late night discussion of the episode with my husband when we were supposed to be sleeping.

Growing up in Ireland, surrounded by the IRA and raised on terrorism and death, you would think that you would be able to know a monster when you met one. But monsters come in so many disguises that you don't always recognize them. And even when you do, you can't always escape.

COMPLETE It's been five years since Fiona gave up on Michael. Now her life is at risk again, and she has no choice but to rely on him for everything. Can he come through for her one final time? Will she let him? Canon through 7x10. Mostly Mike/Fi but appearances by the rest of the gang.

Michael wakes up in a sleazy hotel in Miami after a particularly nasty, disorienting dream that shakes him down to his core. Will he let it influence his future, or go on and ignore the warning? SPOILER WARNING for episode 7.13.

Being declared legally dead can really ruin a guy's day. Despite the fact that he's still walking around and breathing, a clerical error causes Sam all sorts of problems. But was it a mistake, a prank, or something more sinister? Sam enlists Fiona and Jesse's aid to find out the truth before he becomes the late, great Sam Axe.

One shot. Spoiler for the first part of the finale. Please do not read if you didn't watch the episode yet. This is my speculation of how it should end next week.

"When you're burned you have nothing." Michael begins to realize that there is little truth in those words. He had so much even without his job, but he was too blind to see it. Now he can only hope that he can hold on to her because if he loses her: that's when he'll be left with nothing. Michael reflects after "Bitter Pill."

The following story was written before the last 3 episodes of my favorite show have been aired and is influenced by a published picture I saw of the old Miami Herald building being blown up for a future episode.

Spoiler Alert: This is a story that I am writing about after Fiona goes to prison for life. Michael is very upset, and he will do whatever he can do to get her out.

Michael has done everything he's been asked to get into James's good graces. He doesn't want to, but in order to get into the organization in a position where he can take it down, he has to play by the man's rules. So what does he do when he's asked to shoot a friend?
