The episode opened with a shot of the abandoned film lot. "Last time, on Total Drama: Revenge of the Action...The teams were subjected to a sports challenge with a North American classic: Football! Both teams had to select one of their members to act as a football coach and train their team for a football game. Unfortunately, the Legal Eagles had to let Napoleon sit out for the challenge, greatly hindering their chances at winning the challenge. Angela managed to cook up a good strategy that managed to carry the Suspicious Snakes to victory, while Danny failed to carry the Legal Eagles to victory, and he took full responsibility for his team's loss and was promptly voted out of the game." Chris explained as he gave a recap of last episode's events before the scene cut to him standing in between the cast trailers.
"We have one more challenge left before we head into the merge, and it's going to be one heck of a tussle, I tell you! Which team will emerge victorious in this final pre-merge challenge? Which team will net a reward? Which team will net nothing at all? Find out tonight, on Total...Drama...Revenge of the Action!" Chris finished as the show's intro began to play.
Two spotlights rose into the air, as a camera popped up from a hole, and another one popped up from a tree as a director's clapper was used.
Dear mom and dad, I'm doing fine.
The camera proceeded to zoom through the studio before reaching a pool, proceeding to go underwater where Moon was shown swimming underwater. A shark swam up behind her, and Moon proceeded to bravely punch the shark in its snout before swimming away, after which the shark rubbed its snout in pain.
You guys are on my mind.
It then cut to above water, where Bernie was standing on top of a surfboard, dodging seagulls that Veronica was shooting at him. He was promptly knocked into the water.
You asked me what I wanted to be,
Veronica laughed after having knocked Bernie into the water, and then proceeded to kiss Derek on the lips as they embraced and grinned at each other.
And I think the answer is plain to see...
The camera then went through a set of doors as Calvin ran past it, being chased by an animatronic monster.
I wanna be famous.
Laurence was standing around and scratching his head in confusion before Angela saved him from a falling stage light. The two then smiled at each other.
I wanna live close to the sun.
The scene then cut to Candace lounging in some beach chairs as she wore a pair of purple aviator shades, flashing a grin.
Go pack your bags 'cause I've already won.
It then cut to Nancy playing her Dual Teen inside the makeup trailer before makeup was being applied to her, causing her to cough and glare in annoyance.
Everything to prove, nothing in my way.
It then cut to Wendy pushing Napoleon off a platform as she grinned in satisfaction.
I'll get there one day.
Napoleon fell down into the kitchen area as one of his shoes fell into a meal Chef had prepared. Chef noticed the shoe in his meal, but shrugged his shoulders before passing it to Jackson, who applied his special spice to the meal and smiled in satisfaction after tasting the meal.
'Cause I wanna be famous.
As Steve was repairing a panel on some special effects board, he accidentally activated the explosions system. He held his right hand over his mouth in shock as he noticed this. Meanwhile, Violetta laughed excitedly at the explosions that had just occurred before noticing an angry bear next to her, and proceeded to chase after it to scare it away.
Na na na na na na, na na na na na, na na na na na na.
As Violetta and the bear ran past a limosine, the window rolled down to reveal Karen and Bob, the latter opening the limosine door as the scene cut to photo cameras flashing and journalists holding notepads.
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous!
The scene then showed Chris standing on a stage dressed in a white tuxedo with a red bowtie and white dress shoes, holding a card in his hands. He then looked at Chef, who was dressed in his pink glitter dress with pink glitter gloves, pink glitter chef hat and pink pumps, angrily gritting his teeth at Chris.
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous!
The scene then cut to Danny and Rooney sitting on a couch together, as they laughed at the scene with Chris and Chef, which was being projected on a tv behind them.
[Whistling] I wanna be, I wanna be famous.
The camera then zoomed out to reveal all the competitors and non-competitors sitting on couches on a stage, with Danny and Rooney sitting on a couch in the middle.
The scene then cut to the inside of the Craft Services Tent, where the Suspicious Snakes and the Legal Eagles were both having their breakfast. "Well, there's 10 players left in the game. That means that Chris is going to merge the teams soon, right?" Candace asked her teammates.
Angela nodded in agreement. "Most likely. Chris usually merges the teams when there's either 10 players left, or there's half of the players the season started with left. With the exception of Total Drama All-Stars." She replied to Candace.
"Well, I have to say it's been great going on all of these missions with you agents for the past few weeks. But I guess today is where we're going to have to part ways and go on these next set of missions on our own." Calvin chimed in.
"We'll just have to see what Chris has in store for us today. For all I know, he could be putting the teams through one final challenge before merging them." Bob spoke up as he scratched his head.
"Well, I'm sure that if he's going to put the teams through one final challenge before merging them, we can handle whatever challenge he has in store for us." Wendy said with a look of determination on her face.
The camera then panned over to the Legal Eagles' table. "You reckon Chris is gonna merge the teams today?" Steve asked his teammates.
"Oh, that's right. There's like 10 players left in the game. That means Chris is gonna merge the teams sooner or later. Will we still be working together against the other contestants if we do end up merging?" Bernie asked the rest.
"We'll just have to see if Chris is going to merge the teams today first before we worry about any of that, Bernie. He could be putting the teams through one final pre-merge challenge first." Violetta replied to her boyfriend.
"Violetta does have a point, my friend. We'll have to hear things from Chris first before we start running post-merge strategies in our heads." Napoleon agreed.
"Well, I'm sure that if we do end up playing one final challenge before the merge hits, we can handle it. Right, guys?" Derek chimed in. The rest of the Legal Eagles nodded in agreement.
As the teams were minding their own business, Chris proceeded to enter the Craft Services Tent dressed in an ash gray fedora and a black pinstripe suit with an ash gray dress shirt and black dress shoes. The teams looked over to Chris to see him in his outfit.
"I'm taking it by the outfit that we're doing a mafia themed challenge today?" Derek asked Chris.
"Exactly, sport. Mafia's the theme of today's challenge." Chris replied to Derek in a stereotypical Brooklyn mobster accent. The teams looked at each other before looking back at Chris. "But first, I wanna congratulate the 10 of you for making it to the next phase of the game! You'll all be in the jury for the final episode of this season!" Chris continued.
"That sounds an awful lot like what you told the campers back in the Brunch of Disgustingness episode of Total Drama Island." Angela then spoke up.
Chris glared at Angela. "Don't interrupt me while I'm speaking to you, doll. If you interrupt me again, I'll have you sleeping with the fishes tonight." He warned Angela in his stereotypical Brooklyn mobster accent. Angela immediately shut up after that.
"Anyway, here's the deal: Before we're going to merge the teams, we're going to be playing one final challenge. And this challenge is going to be a gender battle: Ladies vs Gents." Chris continued.
"Ooh, a boys vs girls challenge? That's so cool!" Candace cheered.
"Shut it!" Chris told Candace, who immediately shut up again. "Anyway, I've also got some good news: There won't be anyone going home this episode. You'll just be playing for a reward, and it'll be a really good one." Chris continued as the contestants sighed in relief.
"Chef, would you be so kind to tell the contestants what the winner of today's challenge will be getting?" Chris asked Chef.
Chef smiled and nodded. "Of course, Chris. The winner of today's challenge will be spendin' the weekend with Chris at the fanciest hotel in Toronto, where you can get the fanciest foods and drinks, wellness treatments, and all that other good fancy stuff. But the losin' team gets to spend the weekend with me, right here at the film lot." He told the contestants before putting on a menacing grin and waving at them, unnerving some of the contestants.
"That sounds pretty good, doesn't it? Drop your plates off at Chef's window, and get ready for this final pre-merge challenge." Chris told the contestants as they began to drop off their plates at Chef's window before leaving the Craft Services Tent.
-Confessional: Wendy-
"A battle of the genders for a final pre-merge challenge, eh? This'll be the perfect opportunity for me to beat Napoleon and make a fool out of him. Can't wait to see that smug grin getting wiped off his face when me and the girls win this final pre-merge challenge." Wendy spoke with a smirk.
-End Confessional-
-Confessional: Napoleon-
"I have no doubt that Wendy is determined to beat me in today's challenge, but I'm going to make sure that me and the guys will be doing anything in our power to prevent that from happening. I can't wait to see Wendy enraged when me and the guys win this final pre-merge challenge." Napoleon spoke with a smirk.
-End Confessional-
The scene then cut to the guys and the girls being driven towards the challenge set. The girls' trolley was being driven by Jo, while the guys' trolley was being driven by Scott.
"So, Jo. Do you have an idea of what Chris is going to make us do for this mafia themed challenge he has in store for us?" Violetta asked Jo.
Jo shrugged. "I don't know. Chris said I can't tell the contestants anything about upcoming challenges. Said he doesn't like it when other people do his job. You'll have to find out for yourselves. But you want my advice? Beat those men in this final pre-merge challenge. Hurt their pride." She told the girls.
"Oh, don't worry. We are going to beat those men in this final pre-merge challenge. They already put us in the minority, and we're going to make them pay for that." Wendy told her.
Jo smirked at that. "That's what I like to hear. Show 'em who's boss." She replied back as she continued to drive the girls towards the challenge set.
Meanwhile, over in the guys' trolley, the guys were having a similar conversation with Scott. "Hey, Scott. Do you have any information on this mafia themed challenge we could use to our advantage?" Napoleon asked Scott with a kind smile.
Scott shook his head. "Nope, sorry. Chris said I couldn't share any info on the challenge with you guys, since that's Chris' job, and he will punish any of his interns for doing his job. You'll have to find out once you get to the challenge set." He replied.
Napoleon frowned that but nodded. "I understand. We'll formulate a plan for the challenge as soon as we know what it is we'll be doing, right, gentlemen?" He asked the other guys.
Calvin smiled and nodded, giving a salute to Napoleon. "Exactly, Agent Napoleon. Once our employers Mr. McLean and Mr. Hatchet have given us our mission, we can figure out a strategy on how we're going to complete it." He replied.
"What Calvin said." Steve added with a shrug.
"I'll give you one word of advice though: Give those ladies a run for their money once you start that challenge. Show them that us guys have what it takes to win a battle of the genders. Back in Total Drama Island, the gender battle was won by the guys as well, so that should motivate you to try and win this one too." Scott told the guys with a smirk.
"We'll take care of it, Scott. We're going to show those girls who's boss." Derek replied with a determined grin on his face.
Bob chuckled. "Yeah. We'll scare 'em back home." He agreed as he high fived Derek. The two trolleys soon arrived at the challenge set.
"Alright, girls. We made it. Leave those lame-o guys in the dust." Jo told the girls with a smirk.
"We will, Jo. Thanks for the ride." Candace smiled before the girls entered the challenge set.
"Alright, guys. We're here. Beat those girls silly." Scott told the guys with a smirk.
"We'll take care of it, Scott. Thanks for the ride." Bernie smiled before the guys entered the challenge set as well. When they arrived at the challenge set, they found Chris and Chef waiting there of them. Chris was still wearing the mobster outfit he wore back at the Craft Services Tent while Chef was wearing a pair of pitch black sunglasses with a white t-shirt, a black leather jacket, stonewashed black jeans, black fingerless gloves and black boots with black laces.
"Looks like Chef's dressing up for the theme of today's challenge as well." Angela remarked with a chuckle.
"Shut your fucking mouth and let Chris do his job, maggot!" Chef shouted at her, shutting her up immediately.
"Thanks a lot, Cheffy." Chris replied in the same Brooklyn mobster accent from before. "Alright, you wanna know what your challenge is gonna be, right? Right? Alright, lemme explain the deal to ya: The ladies and the gents will be taking on the role of rivaling mafia gangs, and your goal is to get more territory than the other mafia gang within the timespan of an hour. How do you get more territory? By spray painting the walls of the city maze we've set up with your team color. The ladies will be getting the red color, while the gents will be getting the yellow color. In order to hinder the other mafia gang from gaining more territory, you'll be given airsoft pistols along with foam bats to give the other gang a good beating or a good shooting. In case your airsoft pistols run outta ammo, there's crates filled with ammo for your airsoft pistols all around the city maze, so don't worry about running out of ammo. The team with the most territory within the timespan of an hour wins the challenge." Chris then explained to the contestants.
-Confessional: Violetta-
"Alright, so we have to get more territory than the guys within an hour to win. That's going to be difficult, since there are more guys than girls left in the game, but I'm going to do the very best I can to prevent the guys from winning. I really want that weekend trip to Toronto's fanciest hotel."
-End Confessional-
-Confessional: Bernie-
"I'm feeling pretty confident about our chances of winning this challenge. I mean, there's more guys than girls left in the game, so that should give us an easy win. Of course, it's no fun for the girls to be in a position like this, but this is a gender battle, so if Chris wants a gender battle, I'll give him one."
-End Confessional-
The scene then cut to the girls and boys both being on opposite ends of the city maze. The girls were on the north end of the maze, while the boys were on the south end of the maze. Wendy was wearing a black fedora with a red band, a black pinstripe suit with a red dress shirt and black dress shoes. Violetta was wearing a red beret along with a red trench coat and red ankle boots. Candace was wearing a red paperboy cap with a white t-shirt, red leather jacket, stonewashed black jeans, black fingerless gloves and black boots. Finally, Angela was wearing a red 1920s styled flapper dress with red ankle boots.
Napoleon was wearing a white dress shirt with a blue tie underneath a white suit jacket with black dress pants and black dress shoes. Bernie was wearing a brown fedora with a yellow band and a brown three piece suit with a white dress shirt and brown loafers. Bob was wearing a white fedora with a yellow band along with a blue pinstripe suit with a white dress shirt and a red rose sticking from the collar along with black ankle boots. Derek was wearing a yellow paperboy cap along with a white t-shirt underneath a yellow leather jacket and stonewashed blue jeans with brown boots. Steve was wearing wearing a black fedora with a yellow band along with a blue two piece suit with a yellow tie and black dress shoes. Finally, Calvin wore a yellow beret with a yellow trench coat, black dress pants and black dress shoes.
"Alright, let's get this challenge started! Ladies, are you ready?" Chris asked in his Brooklyn mobster accent.
"Yes!" The girls replied.
"Gents, are you ready?" Chris asked the boys.
"Yes!" The boys replied.
"Alrighty then! And...action!" Chris announced as the challenge began. The girls and boys began running through the maze and spray painting the walls with their respective team colors: Red for the girls and yellow for the boys.
"Come on, girls! Let's show those boys what for!" Wendy called to the other girls as she painted the walls of the maze red.
"You got it, Wendy! Let's show them who's boss!" Candace cheered as she also painted the walls of the maze red.
"Come on, my friends! Let's give those ladies a run for their money!" Napoleon called to the other boys as he painted the walls of the maze yellow.
"You got it, Napoleon! Let's do this!" Bob cheered as he also painted the walls of the maze yellow.
Calvin ran through the maze, painting the walls yellow while also keeping an eye out for the girls. "Okay, I gotta keep an eye out for enemy agents. Don't want them stopping me from completing the mission." The secret agent told himself as he kept his spray paint in his right hand while keeping an airsoft pistol in his left hand.
"Were you referring to me?" A female voice sounded behind Calvin before he got hit on the head and knocked to the ground.
Calvin grunted and turned around to see Violetta standing in front of him. "Agent Violetta! I'm afraid I'm going to have to take you out, since you're in my way of completing the mission!" He told Violetta as he began firing his airsoft pistol at her, but Violetta managed to dodge every shot, and soon, Calvin was out of ammo. "...Crap." Calvin muttered.
Violetta giggled before giving Calvin another blow to the head with her foam bat, and began painting the recently yellow painted walls red. "Sorry, Calvin. I really want that weekend trip." She told the secret agent with a smirk before running off again. Calvin sighed before getting back up and tried painting the walls yellow again, but realized he was out of spray paint.
"Great. Now I have to get new ammunition for my gun and new spray paint to color the walls." Calvin sighed before walking off to get said ammunition and spray painting.
Meanwhile, Angela was making her way through the maze, painting the walls red while also keeping an eye out for the boys. "Alright, gotta stay sharp. If I let my guard down for a second, those lame-o boys might jump me. They are in the majority, so no doubt about it that they're going to team up at times during this challenge." Angela told herself as she continued to paint the walls red. Suddenly, she was knocked to the ground with a swift blow to the head, and someone grabbed her spray paint out of her hands.
"You just had to jinx it, didn't you, Angela?" A male voice asked Angela. Angela then looked up to see Derek and Steve standing there. Derek was holding a foam bat in his hand while Steve held Angela's spray paint in his hand.
"And it looks like you're out of paint as well." Steve told Angela with a smirk.
Angela scowled at the boys. "You give that back before I kick your asses!" She angrily shouted at them.
"How are you gonna kick our asses in a dress?" Derek asked with a chuckle.
"You'll find out if you don't start running!" Angela fired back as she quickly got up on her feet. Derek and Steve then ran off laughing, and Angela reached for her foam bat and airsoft pistol, which she just couldn't find because Derek and Steve had stolen those as well. Angela angrily growled as Derek and Steve continued to run away while laughing.
-Confessional: Angela-
"Ugh! I can't believe those dirtbags stooped that low and went and stole both my paint and my weapons! But if there's one thing I've learned from watching 6 seasons of Total Drama in the past, it's that this kind of cheating is to be expected on the show. And there's no point complaining to Chris about it, since Chris clearly doesn't give a shit."
-End Confessional-
-Confessional: Derek-
"I know it was dirty to steal Angela's spray paint and weapons, but come on! It's a gender battle, people! You have to get dirty in a gender battle if you want to win!"
-End Confessional-
Meanwhile, Bernie was running through the maze, painting the walls of the maze yellow while keeping his foam bat out in case he were to get ambushed by any of the girls. As he ran past a corner, he suddenly saw an airsoft bullet whizzing past his face, and out of reflex, he quickly swung his bat in the direction the bullet came from, and hit something.
"Gah!" A female voice exclaimed. Bernie looked to see Candace sitting on the ground, rubbing her face.
"Sorry for hitting you in the face, Candace. But I gotta do what I gotta do to win this challenge for my fellow men." Bernie told Candace as he rubbed the back of his head sheepishly.
"Yeah, same here. I oughta write a rap about this challenge sometime. But I'll have to save that for when the challenge is over. If I sit around and rap the whole time, that won't win the girls the challenge, you know?" Candace chuckled. "Oh, by the way..." She added before pulling her airsoft pistol and firing another airsoft bullet into Bernie's face, causing Bernie to fall onto the ground and groan. "That's for hitting me in the face with your foam bat." Candace smirked before running off to respray the walls Bernie had just painted.
"Ugh...That smarts..." Bernie groaned.
Meanwhile, Wendy was running through the maze and painting the walls while keeping an eye out for any of the boys who were more than willing to jump her. She didn't watch where she was going, however, and soon bumped into Angela. "Hey, watch where you're going!" Angela told Wendy.
"Sorry, Angela. Didn't see you there. Why are you here? Shouldn't you be painting the walls of the maze in our team color?" Wendy asked Angela as she raised a curious eyebrow.
"Well, I would be if those bastards Derek and Steve didn't nick my spray paint and my weapons!" Angela growled angrily.
"Don't worry about it, Angela. I knew the boys would be dirty enough to try such a thing, so I came prepared." Wendy told Angela as she pulled out another can of spray paint, as well as another airsoft pistol and foam bat, then handed these items to Angela.
"...Where'd you get these?" Angela asked Wendy curiously.
"I nicked them from Chef's supply tent at the start of the maze when Chris and Chef weren't looking. Chris and Chef don't give a shit about stuff like this, so I just nicked this stuff in case the boys were going to play dirty." Wendy told Angela with a smirk.
Angela looked at the spray paint and weapons, then back at Wendy and smirked too. "Alright. Thanks, Wendy. Now let's go kick those boys' asses." She replied before giving Wendy a fistbump and the two girls each went their own way to go take out the boys.
Elsewhere in the maze, Napoleon was whistling a tune as he casually painted the maze walls yellow while keeping his foam bat gripped firmly in his hand. "This challenge has been a breeze for me so far. I haven't run into any of the ladies so far, and I think the other guys have them covered, so I should be able to get as much territory for my team in no time." Napoleon chuckled confidently to himself.
"I wouldn't be so sure of that, Napoleon. I took care of Calvin and Candace told me she took care of Bernie, so don't get too cocky." Violetta chuckled at Napoleon as she walked up to the wannabe Alejandro.
Napoleon didn't turn to look at Violetta, and instead continued to paint the walls yellow. "Let's be honest, Violetta. You think that you and the girls have it all under control, but you're going to lose this final pre-merge challenge. You want to know why? Because you and the other girls are in the minority. Out of all the ladies this season started with, only you, Angela, Candace and Wendy are left, while out of all the men this season started with, Bernie, Derek, Steve, Calvin, Bob and myself are left. You're going to be outnumbered during this challenge, and me and the guys will go into the next phase of the competition totally refreshed." He spoke to Violetta as he continued to paint the walls without looking at Violetta.
Violetta rolled her eyes. "You're completely full of yourself, Napoleon. You think you can be a new age Alejandro? Well, news flash: You'll never be as great of a villain as Alejandro was. You're nothing but a poser villain, and that arrogance will be your downfall." She firmly told Napoleon.
"We'll see about that, Violetta. Now make yourself scarce before I'm forced to take you out with my weapons." Napoleon replied as he continued to paint the walls without looking at Violetta.
"I'm not that stupid, Napoleon. You're going down." Violetta replied back before she jumped at the dashing Dutch jock, but he backhanded her in the face with his foam bat, causing Violetta to drop to the ground with a grunt.
"I warned you, Violetta." Napoleon spoke as he turned around to look at Violetta, an evil smirk on his face. "Now you will pay the ultimate price." He added before raising his bat for a swing, and he slammed the bat down on Violetta with a grunt.
"Ow!" Violetta exclaimed before the scene faded to black.
The scene then cut to Wendy, Candace and Angela meeting up with each other at the heart of the maze. "Hey, girls. How have you been doing in the challenge so far?" Wendy asked Angela and Candace.
"I've done pretty well in the challenge so far. Got a good amount of territory covered, and didn't have a lot of trouble with the boys along the way." Angela replied.
"Same here. Made a good amount of progress with claiming territory and managed to give some of the boys like Bernie and Bob a good bonk on the head with my foam bat." Candace replied with a chuckle.
"Alright, good to hear. By the way, have any of you seen Violetta? I haven't seen her in a while." Wendy asked Angela and Candace.
Angela and Candace shook their heads. "No, not really." Angela replied.
"Huh. Weird." Candace replied before they heard footsteps, Wendy made a shushing sound as the girls began to hide. They soon saw Napoleon and Bob casually walking down the maze while painting the walls yellow.
"You really knocked Violetta unconscious with your foam bat?" Bob asked Napoleon in disbelief.
Napoleon chuckled. "Indeed I did. And afterwards, I took her to the beginning of the maze and put her in a spot where the girls will never find her. She'll be in Dreamland for a while." He replied.
"Damn, you really know how to put the girls into even more of a bad spot, Napoleon. That should increase our chance of winning this challenge even more." Bob chuckled too as the boys continued to casually walk down the maze while spray painting the walls.
Wendy, Angela and Candace had heard everything, and the girls were fuming. "Alright. This...means...war." Wendy firmly told Angela and Candace, who nodded in agreement.
-Confessional: Wendy-
"It's bad enough that it's 4 girls against 7 boys, but knocking out one of the girls and screw us over even more? That's where I'm putting my foot down. We're going to kick those boys' asses so hard, they won't be able to sit down properly for a week." Wendy said with a look of determination on her face.
-End Confessional-
The scene then cut to Calvin and Bernie painting two walls that were opposite of each other yellow. Angela and Candace snuck up from behind the boys and each clubbed them down with their foam bats until the boys were knocked out. Angela and Candace then stole the boys' spray paint and weapons, and the girls high fived each other.
The scene then cut to Derek and Steve walking down the maze and painting the walls yellow while casually chatting to each other. A shot of Wendy's feet stepping into frame was then shown, and Derek and Steve's eyes widened before the camera showed Wendy being armed with two airsoft pistols, and she began to fire them at the boys, and the boys began making a run for it, dropping their weapons and spray paint in the process. Wendy proceeded to pick these items up, and she smirked.
The scene then cut to Derek and Steve informing Napoleon and Bob of the situation with the girls, and Napoleon angrily grit his teeth, and he began explaining a plan he had just formulated to the boys. The boys nodded in understanding, and they began to carry the plan out.
The scene then cut to Angela and Candace painting one of the walls of the maze red, although they were unaware that Napoleon and Bob were spying on them. The boys snuck up to the girls and then tackled the girls to the ground and began scuffling with them to try and steal their spray paint and weapons. Napoleon and Bob eventually emerged victorious in the scuffle, and the boys made off with the girls' spray paint and weapons. Angela and Candace growled as they rubbed their heads a bit.
The scene then cut to Wendy painting the walls of the maze red, unaware that Derek and Steve were spying on her. The boys snuck up behind Wendy, and Steve proceeded to pin Wendy to the wall, covering her pinstripe suit in paint while Derek stole the spray paint and weapons Wendy had stolen from him and Steve, and the boys proceeded to hit Wendy in the legs and the face with their recovered bats, knocking the jockette onto her hands and knees. The boys then ran off as Wendy coughed from the blow to the face.
The montage then ended, and both the boys and the girls had gathered on different sides of the maze to discuss their strategy. "Alright, girls. We have to figure out a strategy that'll tip the scales in our favor. The challenge is almost over, and neither us or the boys have been able to make an advantage on the other team." Wendy told the girls.
Candace sighed. "I wish we had Violetta with us right now, she would've been really helpful right now." She spoke.
"Unfortunately, she's most likely still knocked out, so she can't help us right now. I'm going to do the very best I can to formulate a strategy that'll certainly win us this challenge." Angela chimed in as she began to think.
Meanwhile, the boys were having a similar problem. "Alright, my friends. We have to do something about this challenge issue we're having right now. The challenge is almost over, and neither us or the ladies have been able to gain the upper hand in the gender battle. If only Bernie was conscious right now, he would've certainly been able to help us create a strategy that would carry us to victory..." Napoleon sighed.
"I'm not as smart as Bernie probably is, but I should still be able to cook up a strategy that could carry home the win for us." Steve replied.
"Anything would be great right about now. With only minutes left into the challenge, we're gonna have to pull off a miracle finish if we wanna win this thing." Bob spoke up.
"Right. Let me think as quickly as possible." Steve replied as he began to think. The camera then cut to Angela thinking, then to Steve thinking and then back to Angela thinking, and so on. The Jeopardy theme song played as the two of them thought.
"I think I got it. Okay, here's the deal..." Angela began explaining her strategy to the girls.
"I think I got it. Okay, here's the deal..." Steve began explaining his strategy to the boys.
Meanwhile, in Chef's supply tent, Violetta awoke, groaning and rubbing her head from the blow to the head Napoleon gave her. "Ugh...Where am I...?" Violetta muttered as she looked around, seeing the weapons and spray paint. "Looks like that jerk Napoleon put me in the supply tent for this challenge. Big mistake on his part." Violetta smirked.
"Attention, contestants: Only 10 minutes remaining before the challenge ends! Give it all you got if you want to win, since a weekend trip to Toronto's fanciest hotel is at stake!" Chris announced over the speakers in his stereotypical Brooklyn mobster accent. Violetta looked at the supplies around her and smirked once more.
The scene then cut to the girls and boys fighting each other with their foam bats while occasionally trying to paint the walls in their respective team colors. "Are you sure that trying to prevent the boys from gaining an advantage is the best strategy?" Wendy asked Angela as she gave Napoleon a swift blow to the head with her foam bat before ducking underneath a swing from Napoleon's foam bat.
"The idea was to stall the boys' progress until time runs out, then if there's a draw, the decision on who wins the challenge is going to be up to Chris. All we can hope then is that he will pick us." Angela told her as she fired a bullet from her airsoft pistol into Bob's face.
"Hey, you stole my idea!" Steve replied as he swung his foam bat into Candace's face, striking her as Candace grunted and hit him back with her own foam bat.
"It doesn't matter who came up with the idea first! We just have to prevent the girls from winning this challenge!" Derek replied to Steve as he fired an airsoft bullet into Wendy's face before she fired an airsoft bullet back at him.
Meanwhile, as the girls and boys were duking it out, Violetta was running through the maze, carrying two cans of spray paint in her hands as she painted the walls of the maze red, and as soon as she ran out of spray paint, she switched to a new pair of cans and used those until they ran out. She quietly chuckled to herself as she ran through the various corridors of the maze.
-Confessional: Violetta-
"Napoleon really had a massive brain fart when he decided to put me in Chef's supply tent after knocking me out. He really didn't think that one through." Violetta spoke with a chuckle. "The wonders of the boys' stupidity: They sometimes bring success to girls like me." She added with a smile.

As the girls and boys continued to duke it out, they suddenly heard Chris' airhorn rambling across the maze. "Alright, challenge is over! Report back to me and Cheffy, and we'll start tallying up the final score!" Chris announced over the speakers.
The scene then cut to the contestants getting a debrief from Chris. "I'm glad you managed to wake up in time for the end of the challenge, Violetta." Candace told Violetta with a smile.
Violetta smiled and nodded. "So am I, Candace. So am I." She replied to the tomboy before turning back to Chris.
"Alright, you all did well in the challenge. But unfortunately, only one team can win this whole thing. So let's tally up the final score! With a total territory score of 84%, the winners of the final pre-merge challenge are...the girls!" Chris announced as the girls cheered and the boys were shocked.
"What the fuck?! How?!" Derek asked in disbelief.
"Pretty boy over there put loud girl in my supply tent after knocking her out during the challenge, that's how." Chef pointed out as the other boys began to glare at Napoleon, who chuckled nervously.
"I admit that was a mistake on my part..." Napoleon spoke as he rubbed his neck sheepishly.
-Confessional: Napoleon-
"Shit! Bitch! Cunt! Ass! Crap! How could I have been so stupid to put Violetta in Chef's supply tent after knocking her out?! I should have put her in a laundry chute outside the challenge set instead!" Napoleon angrily cursed.

-Confessional: Wendy-
Wendy was laughing. "No way! He was actually stupid enough to put Violetta in a spot she could use to her advantage after knocking her out?! That's the best thing I've seen Napoleon do in all of his participations on Total Drama!" She continued to laugh.
-End Confessional-
The scene then cut to the girls walking up to a limosine. "And there the girls go, off on a weekend trip to Toronto's fanciest hotel together with yours truly." Chris monologued in his regular voice. A shot of Napoleon walking up to the boys' trailer was then shown, and Napoleon tried to enter the trailer, but found he was locked out.
"Guys! Guys! Let me in! I need to sleep in there!" Napoleon called to the boys inside the trailer.
"No way, man. Go sleep in the girls' trailer, since you helped them win because of your stupidity." Derek replied from the inside of the trailer.
Napoleon let out a frustrated sigh. "I get it, I get it. You're still mad at me for what happened during today's challenge." He spoke before walking up to the girls' trailer and heading inside.
"This was our final episode before we head into the merge next week. Now that we're going into the next phase of the competition, will the girls be able to survive the merge when they're in the minority? Will the guys dominate the merge? What challenge could I possibly have in store for our contestants after the merge? And who will be making it all the way to the finish line and have a chance at winning a million dollars? Find out the answers to all those questions and more, next time on Total...Drama...Revenge of the Action!" Chris finished as the limosine with him and the girls inside took off, leaving the film lot.
