I decided to try my hand at the Alphabet challenge, but decided to make it a little different than a story. I put it together fashioned as a poem. Maybe I will write the story version later. I may just do all twenty-six letters as poems. Hmm we shall see where the muse takes me.

Johnny Gage and Dr. Brackett are trapped in an office building when a bomb goes off! Now Roy DeSoto as well as the rest of Station 51 must find their friends while trying to keep the chaos under control. But not all the damage is physical.

Johnny wants some due attention for his favorite TV show. Note: This story is motivated by "Emergency's" non-mention (so far, at least) in PBS' continuing "Pioneers of Television" series.

"The floorboards creak ominously. Roy can feel the ones holding his weight bending. He opens his mouth to tell John to get out before he falls, too. The sound is violent and deafening as the floor gives way under John, sending them both tumbling into the basement below." Notes inside.

Sorry about the spacing issues. I hope that I have fixed it and, my deepest apologies for messing it up. Deleted the story and trying to get it to come up correctly. Second time is a charm. If not then I will try again. Summery is below before the story actually begins.

...Johnny jumped up, and darted backward, knocking the chair over… he recoiled as his eyes darted around, until his back was against the wall. Pitiful screams escaped from the dark haired paramedic as the hallucinations took over, filling him with terror. Roy tried to restrain his best friend, to keep him from hurting himself, as he yelled for a doctor's help...

L.A. County has been hit by a flu epidemic. Station 51 is feeling the effects as well. Johnny and Roy attempt to go about their shift as usual but the epidemic is starting to wear them out, same goes for Dr. Brackett and Dixie McCall at Rampart. All they can do is cross their fingers and endure the impending chaos, especially when fires start to burn all over the city.
