Everyone believes that John Gage only has one remaining family member. What if that wasn't true? His world is about to change...for the better.

Sometimes, things just happen. Inspired by an April, 2013 article on EMS1 dot com about why Emergency is still loved, in which the author mentions some things that never happen on the show.

This is the sequel to the story 'Another Fishing Trip, Where Roy, John, and Chet met some new friends in Julie Clark and Frank Dillan. This story picks up about three months after the last one left off so you might want to read the first story before taking this one on. There are little things that will make more sense if you do.

John Gage has always had a fear of needles, but when another fire station hosts a blood drive, John decides that he wants to overcome his fear (if only so he can avoid being mocked by Chet). Or, a story in which John has never given blood before and decides to participate in a blood drive.

Challenge Response (Sketches: 100 words or less / three members of the 51 crew in each / no more than one OC / holiday-themed / no death). All 20 possible sketches complete. I hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed writing them.

John and the guys go camping and take Molly along. I actually wrote this story first and then had to go back and write Molly's introduction to the group so here it is, complete at publishing. It is a sequel to A Beautiful Day so some things will be more clear if you read that one first, but I explain enough that you could get the gist without it. Reviews are welcome, as always.

In response to a story challenge posted on another site: RULES: 1: The story is no longer than A HUNDRED WORDS. 2: It involves any of the upcoming holidays. 3: It involves at least three of the 51 crew members. 4: No more than 1 OC and 5: Nobody dies! **Not sure why FF says it's 109 words- Word and Open Office both say 100 words even. Go fig. :)

Breaking the sixth (television) wall. Dialog exercise. This is a reply back to a story challenge meme proposed on a social site and Google in the form of an image of books with this quote. The original meme was this. "Someone should write a book where the main character slowly falls in love with the reader."

Just a little something that came to mind today as I thought about the upcoming holiday. Written and edited pretty quickly so please forgive any errors. FYI I used a random card generator to select each guy's card so it was a surprise to me too how many things that character would have to be thankful for. K mild language/death. Hope you enjoy it.
