Disclaimer: Okay; just a heads up, I'm not gonna be dedicating entire chapters to each world in Spyro 2, but I WILL be showing each of them off. You'll even get to see the stuff these worlds had in the games in this story, so I hope that will help the showings of them play out well enough to suffice. But yeah, the main focus is Spyro working to save Avalar, and that's what I'm focusing on most. There will still be world building though. Enjoy!

Sorry for the late upload. Forgot to post this lol.

Spyro: The Hero of Avalar

Ripto arc Episode two: Spyro's Lie

Rock music played and a male voice was heard singing the main theme of the story, Spyro, with Spyro and his friends shown one by one with each guitar string, and the guitar played harder with Spyro dodging Ripto's wand blasts and breathing fire at him. "Spyro! He's a kid and he wants to get home, (Elora is shown to be sneaking around some of Ripto's forces to get a Talisman) and Avalar needs a hero, to beat Ripto's dome. (Hunter is shown to be spinning a Talisman on his finger before being chased by Crush and Gulp) Spyro! With power from his head to his tail, (Moneybags is shown to be shaking his money bag to a clearly annoyed Spyro) he'll be there and evil won't prevail."

Flame, Ember, and Cynder were shown working together to get Spyro back home. "When evil's breaking pace, (Sawyer is shown to be overpowering Ripto) he gets right in it's face, Spyro. (Spyro is shown to be struggling to control the pin in his forehead) When trouble comes for shock, (Spyro shakes the headache off and is then shown flying at Ripto) it's time; let's rock, (Spyro punches Ripto and makes the screen change to him and his friends standing with each other as Spyro: The Hero of Avalar is shown with Spyro standing confidently in front of it, Sparx laying right on top of him, Hunter on the O at the end of Spyro, Elora standing next to Spyro with a smile, Nigel and Melinda walking in next to the word 'Hero' as Cynder kissing Spyro on his right cheek, making him smile) Spyro!"

Cynder and Sawyer were staring each other down from the previous chapter, and as they stared each other down for a few seconds, they then charged at one another. The two collided a powerful claw strike, only for Sawyer to overpower Cynder and raise her into the air. He then threw her at the ground at high speeds before diving down at her with strong force. Cynder was able to recover and attempted to block Sawyer's attack, only for him to send her towards the ground at even higher speeds. She used her wings and was barely able to recover on the ground.

The Colosi in the area, who looked to be worker Colosi, caught sight of what was going on and were frightened to say the least. Cynder knew they couldn't be around for this and alerted them of the danger. "Get out of here! This guy means business!" Sawyer launched a barrage of dark energy orbs at Cynder, who dodged them all the best she could before flying up at Sawyer as the Colosi fled. She attempted to slash at Sawyer, only for him to dodge successfully and grab her tail.

Sawyer started spinning Cynder around, causing her to get dizzy while also activating her curse a bit. Sawyer took note of this and threw Cynder just as the aura started to spawn. He then blasted Cynder at a massive force, causing her fly even farther away from them. Just then, a Jade Idol Talisman was caught by Sawyer from behind, and he looked down to the one who threw it at him. It was one of the worker Colosi, and he then realized the gave mistake he'd just made; giving a fear filled deadpan look to the audience. "Why did I do that?"

Spyro was in Colossus as he got to know some of the Colosi monks there while looking around the place. The way he was getting to know them was by playing ice hockey with him, and as he skated on the ice, he got the puck in his mouth and spat it out at the goal at just the right time, stopping the player from the other team from getting him. He scored the last goal of the game, spinning on his claws as he boasted about his victory. "Eat that! Bet that didn't feel very ice now, did it?"

The other players gave deadpan looks to Spyro as the monk who was observing him walked with him as he got off the court after declaring a good game to the other players. "You have a lot of skill, young dragon, but did you have to make that into an ice pun?"

"Technically, no. I just wanted to." Spyro admitted, and then he and the monk got to the main building as Spyro held out an orb. "And I got this bad boy as payment. (The monk looks surprised) The dude I was playing against handed it to me right before we headed off. Not sure what it's all about, but I'm gonna assume it's like a Talisman, but weaker."

The monk decided to get back on topic, guiding him to the entrance of the main building as he explained the situation. "Speaking of the Talisman, if you wish to obtain the Gold Statue Talisman, you'll have to stop this yeti. (Scratches back of head) He... ate it while I was training one of my students."

Spyro scoffed, walking into the building as he taunted the yeti after observing a loose statue above it. "Hey, fart breath!" The yeti became enraged upon hearing Spyro's insult as Spyro then condescended to the yeti a little. "If you're a pathetic, sad sack, waste of space, then roar at me as loud as you can." The yeti was furious, and couldn't contain his anger. He roared at Spyro at the top of his lungs, leaving Spyro to hold his grip on the ground the best he could as the yeti continued roaring. After a few seconds, the statue Spyro saw fell right on the yeti, crushing him and making him lay on his back.

The yeti then spat out the gold statue, leaving Spyro to catch it as he smiled to the audience and winked. The monk was impressed, and after running over to Spyro, he did his chant and lifted the statue off the yeti, allowing him to leave the building as a portal formed for Spyro to head back. The monk was grateful for Spyro's help and shook his claw with gratitude. "Thank you, young dragon. Spyro, was it? I know our time together was short, but you give me confidence in Avalar being safe again one day."

"Glad to hear it, dude." Spyro responded with a smile, and then he put the Gold Statue in his guidebook as he made an offer to the monk. "Maybe I'll come back during a tour of Avalar to my friends one day." The monk liked the sound of that, and Spyro took quick notice to it. As he left Colossus, he knew that Avalar was gonna be full of memorable faces to find on his journey.

Elora and Zoe were waiting for Spyro to get back as Elora was informing Zoe on a plan she had in mind for taking down Ripto. "So I think we could get some of the fairies to join in with the battle against Ripto, just in case Spyro needs help in taking him down."

Zoe liked the sound of that. She was always glad to be of use to Avalar. "Let us know how many faries you need and I'll recruit the best of the best."

Elora smiled in response to that as she and Zoe then caught sight of Cynder falling to the ground, and they were stunned as she landed and dragged through at least three feet of ground. The two of them went over to see who it was, and when they saw Cynder, they were astonished to find that it was another dragon as Elora had a theory in mind. "I think this is a friend of Spyro's. They must've come to Avalar to find him."

Speaking of Spyro, he came back from Colossus and boasted a bit about how easy it was to get the Talisman. "Guess I just got the easiest out of all of them. The yeti practically GAVE me that victory." Spyro then saw Cynder in Elora's arms as she brought her over to Spyro with Zoe, leaving Spyro horrified as he ran over to her. "Cynder!"

Spyro got a good look at Cynder with Elora kneeling down to help Spyro get a good look at her, sharing concern for her well being. "A friend of yours?"

"She's my girlfriend." Spyro informed Elora, and then he listened for Cynder's heartbeat, and was relieved when he heard it beating. He knew Cynder needed emergency care however, and looked to Elora for hope that there was a medic here. "Please, for the love of life itself, tell me we have a medic in Summer Forest!"

"If we didn't, what kind of Kingdom would we be?" Elora optimistically responded, and she then rushed off with Spyro and Zoe to get Cynder the care she needed. All Spyro could think about now was making sure Cynder was okay. He didn't want to lose her, and Elora and Zoe saw the horror in his eyes.

Cynder was lying down in the Summer Forest castle medical room with Spyro sitting beside her as he held her claw and looked at her, hoping she would wake up soon. He may have only just gotten together with Cynder a day or two ago, but he still cared for her deeply and wanted to see her happy and alive. Elora walked over to Spyro from the entrance as she handed Spyro some food she and her mother prepared. "You a fan of italian food? My mom and I spit balled on this one since we didn't know what you liked, so I hope we got it right."

Spyro got a good look at the food and it was revealed to be a cheesy lasagna dish. He was grateful for the gesture, and felt it'd be helpful to eat so he'd feel better about Cynder's condition. "Thanks, Elora. Food is exactly what I need right now. And it's my favorite dish!" Elora was happy to help. She knew her's and Melinda's cooking would do the trick. Just then, Cynder started to wake up as Spyro took a bite of the lasagna and loved it. Since Spyro noticed as well, Elora took the food so he could speak to her. The ecstatic smile on his face said it all. "Cynder! You're alright!"

"Of course I'm alright." Cynder responded, being flattered that Spyro feared for her life. "I wasn't about to let a scrap like that take me down, no matter how brutal it was."

Spyro loved that fierce attitude from Cynder from the moment they met. He liked his girls that way; fierce, and full of energy. "That's why I love you, baby." Spyro kissed Cynder, who was thankfully feeling better enough to have already turned her head to face him. The kiss lasted for five seconds, and as Spyro looked at Cynder, he told her about his plans to save Avalar. "I made a deal with Elora saying I'd help her save Avalar before I went home. You stay right here until you're better. And if you want, you can join the battle."

Cynder nodded with a grateful smile upon hearing that. She'd never seen this level of affection given to her before. It's not like her parents didn't love her, but her mom used to be so strict that she could be mistaken for a step-parent who didn't work all that well with kids. It gave Cynder hope that she and Spyro could start a family. She only hoped he was open to that. She then remembered Sawyer and knew she had to warn him about that. "Oh; before you head out again. It's about Sawyer."

Spyro flinched upon hearing that name with Elora being concerned, not knowing who Sawyer was and hoping it wasn't anything too serious. The worried looks on Spyro and Cynder's faces made it clear that Sawyer was a threat. "I take it you've faced this 'Sawyer' before?"

Spyro flinched, worried that the mention of Sawyer being his brother would give Elora the wrong idea. He quickly turned to her as he then lied about who Sawyer was. "He's just some freak we beat up in the past; we buried him under some rocks and forgot to check to see if he was really dead."

Cynder was confused by Spyro lying about Sawyer with Elora being suspicious as she crossed her arms. "He doesn't have any personal relation with either of you? Not one that could explain your sudden reaction there?"

Spyro wiped his chest, and as Cynder was about to ask him about it, he quickly spoke up, continuing his lie. "Totally! So, um... if you don't mind, Elora, Cynder and I kinda have to talk about this alone. And I wanna make sure everyone at home is okay. And your parents probably need your help."

Elora had the feeling that Spyro was lying, but she decided to let him be for now. "O-kay, but if you need me, I'll be in the throne room."

Elora left the room with Spyro wiping his forehead as she left. Cynder was still confused, as she didn't expect Spyro to do what he did there. "She seems trustworthy." Spyro looked to Cynder, who showed her disappointed, but not angry face, as she asked why he did what he did. "Why did you lie about Sawyer?"

Spyro sighed with clear regret over lying to Elora, expressing this as he explained to Cynder why he did it. "It's not like I don't trust her at ALL, Cynder. I just can't risk letting anyone here think I was trying to bring disaster to Avalar." Elora was secretly listening outside the room as she waited to hear what Spyro and Cynder were getting at. "If she found out more about Sawyer, or the pin he struck me with, too quickly, then it could be game over. I can't risk that."

Cynder still had her doubts with Elora expressing a look of hurt over having been light to by Spyro. Yeah she just met him, but she, like most people, didn't like being lied to. "I guess, but Elora doesn't seem like the judgemental type."

"But her dad could be." Spyro stated, leaving Elora to continue listening as Spyro spoke up about Nigel. "I got into a heated argument with him when we first met, and I can tell he's the no nonsense type of guy. And if I wanna tell Elora about this, I have to make sure she isn't a blabbermouth."

Elora was still upset about Spyro lying to her, but she did understand where he was coming from. Cynder then sighed as she showed concern for what could happen as of this lie. "Just make sure you tell her the truth at some point. The fact that she's helping you gives her at least SOME right to know."

"I will. I just have to pick the right moment for it." Spyro assured Cynder, and then he grabbed her claws as he held them gently and spoke to her about heading home. "And if she still wants to help us, then we'll be able to go home, and... everything will get better. I know it will." Cynder knew that those words of Spyro's were genuine. She only hoped the two of them would be able to make it home to the Dragon Realms.

Idol Springs was currently in chaos and destruction with Sawyer killing another Colosi there with a brutal claw slash to the back. As he was doing this, he was about to set fire to a tree nearby with Ripto suddenly appearing in front of him as he blocked the fire with his staff. The shield broke, but so did the fire, and Sawyer instantly got ready for what could be another battle. Ripto was quick to start shouting at Sawyer as he walked over to him, clearly unaware of his presence. "As if I couldn't hate dragons enough! You have a lot of nerve destroying this place before I could-"

Sawyer swatted Ripto's staff away once he got too close, being unfazed by his presence as he then pinned Ripto to the ground and glared into his eyes. The soulless, sadistic gaze gave Ripto chills down his spine. He'd never seen anything like this before, and it was clear that Sawyer had the advantage in power and speed. Sawyer then spoke up while holding his claws up to Ripto's neck without hurting him. "You must be Ripto. I read about you in The Book of Avalar. Your power is formidable compared to Gnasty Gnorc."

Ripto was flattered by that comparison, and he couldn't help but respond while stating one of the things he did. "Well I DID take over the Winter Tundra kingdom with ease."

"Perfect." Sawyer allowed Ripto to go over to his staff, and as he picked it up, Sawyer told him exactly what he wanted him to do. "The Dragon Realms, as well as Avalar, seem like a worthy combination for lands to enact my ultimate plan." Ripto wasn't sure what Sawyer was getting at as the dragon walked over to him menacingly. "And you're going to help me pull this plan off."

Ripto wasn't about to be Sawyer's slave, especially not without a good reason to be. "Now hold on just a second there, bub! I don't know anything about you! Even if I wanted to help you, there's no way you'd be my superior!"

Sawyer started choking Ripto with his power, and he attempted to stop him with a blast from his staff. Sawyer grabbed it however, since it was a small power blast, and crushed it, further cementing his power to the horrified Ripto. As Ripto started to turn blue, Sawyer dropped him and allowed him to gasp for breath as he then made it clear what he wanted Ripto to do. "Here's your first order of business." Sawyer gave a heartless gaze to Ripto as his command was made. "If you saw a purple dragon, tell me where you last saw him."

Spyro and Cynder had just finished explaining the situation to Elora and her parents in the throne room, who was wrapping her head around what they told her. "So, this 'Sawyer' is the one who sent Spyro here from the Dragon Realms, after he defeated his minions, and his main henchman, Gnasty Gnorc." Spyro nodded in response with Elora then stating something else about the situation. "And you, Cynder, came through this portal that was spawned by your friends, and Spyro's father, in the heart of the Dragon Realms, which you were all making in an attempt to bring him home."

"That's the long and short of it." Cynder confirmed while laying on a hospital cart Spyro put her on so she could attend the explination, being well aware of how random both of these things must be for Elora to take in one day."

Elora was still concerned about whatever it was Spyro and Cynder were keeping from her, but she knew she could trust them with telling her how the two of them ended up here. After all, that's the last thing they would have any reason to lie about. "Then I'll see to it that we get you back. Let me know when you're ready for the next Talisman."

Nigel sensed something suspicious with Spyro based on his look of regret, so Melinda calmed him down by rubbing his shoulder. "He's not going to do anything, Nigel. If Elora trusts him, so do I."

Spyro gave Elora a thumbs up, and Spyro walked off with Cynder so she could continue to recover from her encounter with Sawyer. Cynder was wondering if anything else was on Spyro's mind, as he seemed distracted by something other than Sawyer. "Is there something you wanted to talk about when you got back to the Dragon Realms?"

Spyro sighed and decided to be honest with Cynder as he continued to bring her back to the hospital room. "Actually, yeah. Right now I'm thinking about Ember." Cynder wasn't surprised to hear that. Spyro and Ember's last interaction wasn't exactly one for closure. "I know I hurt her when I chose you, and I feel like crap knowing I can't reciprocate her feelings for me. I'm not saying you aren't worth loving, but to hurt Ember like that was just... hard. I don't blame her for wanting some space."

"You've been her best friend for years, Spyro." Cynder pointed out, having known that Spyro and Ember knew each other since they were little kids. "I talked to her about it on the way to the Artisan castle, and she said that she still wants you in her life. And I know she told you that too." Spyro did remember that Ember told him something along those lines. Cynder then smiled to him as she brought up a positive to the situation. "Maybe this scenario will give her the space she needed."

Spyro hadn't thought about that before, but it made a lot of sense. The easiest way to give Ember the space she needed was for him to not be around, even though the situation was less than ideal. He only hoped it'd be enough time. "That could be true. I just hope that she's not still hurt by my feelings for her being platonic when we go home."

Cynder knew this was hard for Spyro as well, so she made sure to let him know that his feelings weren't to be ignored. "I know you, and I know Ember. Things will improve for your both. What's happening now, will make you both stronger." Spyro looked to Cynder and saw her loving smile, which made him smile in return. He was glad to find that his girlfriend was being so understanding about his predicament. He wanted to do the same for her as well.

An hour after Spyro and Cynder talked about Ember, Spyro went through the Idol Springs portal in an attempt to find the next Talisman. When he got there however, he was shocked to find that the place had been destroyed, and that most of the Colosi there were injured, with a couple even being dead. As he got a look around, the leader of the springs ran over to him and hit him with a staff. "Ow! Watch it, buddy!"

"I will do no such thing!" The Colosi insisted, leaving Spyro to turn to him while rubbing his head. "One of your kind destroyed our village, (Spyro flinches) and I don't intend to-"

Spyro swatted the staff away so he could speak without being interrupted, and then when the Colosi charged at him, he shoved him to the ground while defending himself. "I'm not here to hurt you! At least not unless you make me HAVE to." The Colosi took note of the way Spyro worded that and got up slowly as he spoke up. "Now shut up and tell me what I need to hear. You said another dragon did this, right? Was it a dragon with black skin, surrounded by a dark aura, and all about evil, could possibly be used for endless amounts of racism jokes to the viewers at home?"

The Colosi nodded his head yes with Spyro sighing with concern and anger as he explained a bit more. "I know him. I'll be sure to stop him, and avenge those he killed in this destruction. I can't promise when it'll happen, but I do intend to take him down."

"If you do find him, please get the Talisman from him as well." The Colosi requested, making Spyro even more concerned about the situation as he let those words sink in.

Spyro knew he would be at a disadvantage without the Idol Springs Talisman, but he also knew that he couldn't let the setback keep him from taking Ripto and Sawyer down. "If I can get it back, I'll return it to you as soon as I use it to make my way home."

Flame and Ember were in a local restaurant in the Artisan home as their orders were being delivered to them: a cheeseburger for Flame, and chicken tacos for Ember. As the two got their food, Ember spoke up for the both of them. "Thank you." As the waiter left, the two dragons started eating with the whole situation still being on Ember's mind. As she thought about it, she then considered how Flame must feel. It had to be hard on him as well, since it was his brother who was involved. "So. How do you feel?"

Flame was a little surprised by that question; but not too surprised, since Ember was usually the thoughtful one of the group. He felt it would be best to answer honestly. "If I had to answer that honestly, I'm not entirely sure." And it was clear that he was worried about Spyro. "I mean... I'm glad Spyro's okay, or at least alive. But at the same time, I can't see him until we go to another part of the world that we've never even heard of before."

Ember got where Flame was coming from. She was holding her own package however, and Flame knew what it was. "I guess I'm the same way. I still care about him as deeply as can be, and I hope we get him back. (Crushes taco a bit) I just wish it was easier to move on in regards to my feelings."

"I get that." Flame was sure that his parents were also messed up about this. "I guess what's most important is how my family feels."

"But what about you!?" Ember asked as she raised her voice a bit, finding it baffling that Flame was saying his feelings were less significant. "He's YOUR brother! I know the rest of his family misses him too, but YOU'RE the one who traveled all over the Dragon Realms with him to save everyone!" Flame was even more surprised by this rare instance of frustration coming from Ember. She was clearly carrying her own emotional baggage as she gently slammed her fist on the table. "It's good that you're thinking about them, but your feelings matter too, Flame."

Flame was touched by that, and he and Ember both ignored the eyes that their attention were caught by. Instead, Flame took a bite out of his burger, swallowed, and gave the best response he could to Ember. "I guess maybe... I feel that what happened to Spyro..." Flame then spoke quietly so only Ember could hear. "Should've happened to me."

Ember was shocked to hear that. She didn't even know how to respond. All she could do was reach over to his claw and hold it sincerely and with genuine comfort. Flame looked at her, and she looked into his eyes as she assured him that he wasn't to blame. "You aren't responsible for this, Flame." Flame was touched by Ember's comforting words. He only hoped that they would be proven to be true later on.

Spyro was explaining the situation to Elora, and it was clear that he was getting even more frustrated about the situation by the minute. "As if things couldn't get any worse, the moment he gets here, he's already causing chaos! He could've at least let me know he was here first so I could start planning a way to take him down!" Elora could see Spyro's anger, and then his pin started acting up again thanks to it, causing him to get surrounded by a bit of a dark aura as he continued to vent. "He could've also left the Talisman! But nooooo; he's still using common sense!"

Elora was caught off guard by this, and she was glad that she and Spyro were alone in her flower garden. Before Spyro could get more angry, she kneeled down to him and assured him that they would succeed in taking Sawyer down. "I know we'll stop him Spyro. Just try to keep a cool head until then." Spyro's pin was still acting up, and he couldn't shake off the aura, and Elora then took notice to the pin as it glowed a little. "Try thinking happy thoughts. That always helps me."

Spyro flinched upon hearing that and tried to calm down, not wanting his pin to take over. He sat down and tried to mend his pin's power, slowly, but surely, suppressing his anger. It seemed to work as he thought about happier things, such as his friends, Cynder, and his family. He then saw Elora, who put a palm on his shoulder as she smiled to him. For some reason, Spyro felt warmer around Elora. Not in the way that Cynder made him feel, but in the way that Ember made him feel; like a close friend who would always be there for you no matter what.

Spyro then started to feel bad about hurting Ember, and Elora could tell that he was upset and started thinking. As Spyro calmed down and his dark aura subsided, proving that thinking happy thoughts was a good method for suppressing the pin's power, Elora walked over to a very special batch of flowers with a thread of powerful string. "Wait here a moment." Spyro wasn't quite sure what Elora was planning, but he felt it couldn't hurt. Elora was already proving herself to be good hearted so far.

Spyro watched as Elora put together some kind of flower crown for Spyro to put on, much to his nervousness and reluctance. He quickly saw what Elora was planning and decided to break it to her gently. "Not trying to be rude, Elora, but I most likely won't wear that all the time."

"That's what the thread I'm using is for!" Elora informed Spyro as she walked over to him while smiling, and he shrugged and allowed her to put the flower crown on him, which she was glad to be doing. She then demonstrated what she meant when referring to the thread as she pressed the middle button. "Just watch."

The flower crown then formed itself to a bracelet, much to Spyro's surprise as the flower themed bracelet matched his skin color perfectly. "Okay, that's pretty cool! What kind of thread is that?"

Elora took out another piece of the thread as she let Spyro know what it looked like. It sported a black coating and had an aura of formation to it as Spyro gazed upon it. "It's a formation thread. Just use it to make something, and a button will appear right in the middle of whatever you wear, like it did with your flower crown. Then press it, and it'll form into something that's similar to it, but not exactly the same; like how the flower crown turned into a bracelet."

Spyro had to admit that he was totally on board with that. And now that he'd calmed down and the dark emotions from his pin were suppressed, he was ready to get back into action; and so was Elora. "I'm ready for the next place, Elora. Where's my next Talisman?"

"Hurricos; the land of the Gear Grinders." Elora answered, knowing that Spyro could easily beat Sawyer and Ripto to the Talisman if he hurried. "Just be as quick as you can, and the Talisman will be ours!" Spyro nodded in response. No way was he gonna let Sawyer get another Talisman. He was still worried about his pin, though.

Sawyer and Ripto were now residing in the latter's hideout, which was revealed to be the top of a castle in a winter themed world. Sawyer wasn't very fond of it and felt a slight chill on his coat, but he was able to resist the urge to shiver, and had Ripto cast a spell to give him an endurance to the cold. "Efficient." Sawyer then looked over the Kingdom as he thought about how he'd use it for his ultimate plan. "Winter Tundra. You have impeccable taste in design when it comes to choosing a Kingdom."

Ripto was flattered by this compliment and stood next to Sawyer as he responded. "Why, thank you." Ripto then looked over the land with Sawyer, who being curious as to what his ultimate plan was. "So... this ultimate plan. Any chance you could give me some details on what that is?"

"In due time, I may explain to you what exactly the plan is about." Sawyer informed Ripto, deciding not to tell him of his plan too quickly, to have him avoid teaming up with the heroes. "Just know that it will involve some very powerful energy, and a former dark presence from the Dragon Realms who's very name can make young dragons quiver.

Ripto was unsure of whether or not to trust Sawyer's vague explanation. Then again, he wasn't sure if he could trust him at all. "And this dark presence would be...?"

Sawyer gave an ice cold gaze to Ripto, one that made him freeze with fear and back up a bit as Sawyer then turned to him and made him back up as he walked over to him. It was clear that Ripto's questions were starting to annoy him, and he wasn't about to have his new partner be nosy with him. "This plan isn't for newcomers to learn about so quickly, Ripto. Surely you can respect that well enough to protect your own life." Ripto nodded his head yes nervously, and Sawyer gazed into his eyes with a cold sight. "You will learn, if you last long enough."

Ripto nodded his head yes again with Sawyer closing his eyes and going around Ripto as he went over to the throne. "Seeing as you have as much power as you do, you must have some minions to help you take Avalar over. Perhaps you could send one of them after Spyro if he starts to get too close.

"If they could focus on him for more than one minute." Ripto said with annoyance, but not aimed directly at Sawyer. "If they could though, Crush would be a perfect first battle!"

Sawyer then watched as Ripto spawned Crush, who held his club proudly and smashed it on the ground. It caused a bit of a ground shake, and Sawyer flew up into the air as he started to feel it. He was already impressed with what he saw. He gave a sadistic grin as he thought about the odds. It was clear that they would need to fill Crush in with a simple and easy to understand explination, but Sawyer knew he would be more than capable of taking over with the brawn. And even then, he WAS the first battle.

To be continued.

An instrumental version of the main theme played during the credits.
