Author's Notes: Things are getting intense now! Will your favorite characters live? I guess you'll have to see, but boy oh boy was this fun to write!
While Miles was attacking the boarding school, Bob's group was also being attacked.
"Y'all fuckers gonna die!" a soldier laughed.
"Piss off," Bob yelled, throwing back one of their grenades.
The inside of the Walmart was a warzone. Bob knew there must be a strike team going around back and moments later he was proven right when he watched Jerry get shot in the back with several bullets. Mac was shooting several soldiers, but was flung across the store when a grenade went off nearby.
"Fuck Mac!" Bob screamed, "Ellie go check on Mac!"
Bob reloaded and shot several people in the head.
"Last chance, if you fuckers don't leave now you'll all have slow and painful deaths I promise you that!" Bob shouted.
"Big words for a bald baby!" a soldier replied.
Bob riddled that soldier's torso with bullets mere seconds later. Ellie checked on Mac she was still alive, but barely.
Ken crawled over narrowly avoiding bullets whizzing past his head.
"Green and I got the truck outside working, we got to go!" Ken told them.
"We can't leave Bob!" Mac replied.
"Ellie go tell Bob!" Ken ordered.
"Why the fuck do I have to?" she asked.
"Just do it!" Ken shouted.
Ellie ran towards Bob narrowly avoiding gunfire. Her luck ran out soon after when she saw a grenade eight feet in front of her.
"Shit!" she yelled, turning to run.
It was too late the grenade blew up and Ellie was caught in the blast radius.
Thirty minutes later. Logan woke up confused about what was going on. It soon hit him like a cinder block to the dick when he remembered what happened and realized he was tied up. They weren't in a van, they had been transferred into the trailer of a semi truck.
"How the fuck do you have all this shit?" Logan asked.
"My community trades with other heavy hitters," Miles replied.
"Why are you avenging Gregory?" Logan queried.
"Avenging!?" Miles shouted, "That fucker left me to die and why would I avenge the man I killed?"
Logan's eyes widened.
"It was you…," Logan trailed off, "You were the one who mutilated Gregory that night in the tower."
"Asshole thought he killed me," Miles chuckled, "I made sure that I killed him."
"You're a sick bastard," Logan gasped horrified.
"Oh really? I'm the sick bastard?" Miles asked then pointed to Mary, "Your little friend here burned my pregnant wife and two kids alive! She is the sick bastard here!"
The truck screeched to a stop and the doors opened. Everyone was carried out by Miles' men from the trucks into a nearby room. There was a glistening steel table that looked like it had been recently hosed down. They were forced into chairs bolted to the group and then their bindings were readjusted confining them to the chairs.
"What the fuck is going on?" Logan asked.
"A friendly little game," Miles assured him.
When everyone woke up Miles pulled out a revolver and laid it in front of Aasim on the table.
"There's a single bullet in one of the six slots you can either choose to shoot yourself or shoot someone else. If the gun doesn't go off, hand it to the next person," MIles explained.
"This is demented," Aasim gasped.
"One in six chance and there are five of you. All of you are safe for the first round at the very least," Miles assured him, "And if any one of you thinks about getting a bright idea and aiming the gun at me I have snipers in the dark corners of this room watching."
A sniper shot a bullet into the air to prove he wasn't bluffing.
"Thanks Barnaby," Miles chuckled, "Now get started."
Aasim picked up the revolver slowly raising it up. He put it to the side of his head sweating profusely he got ready to pull the trigger. Nothing happened and Aasim's face showed an expression of relief as he quickly dropped the gun. The gun was passed to Mary next. Miles watched intently as she held it up to her head. When she pulled the trigger nothing happened and Miles sighed in annoyance.
"Well something interesting will happen soon," Miles snickered leaving the room.
The road into town seemed different somehow, Clementine noticed there weren't as many cars scattered over the place.
"This is weird," Clementine murmured.
"Huh what?" Aasim asked.
"There aren't as many cars scattered over the place as there were," Clementine told him.
"You think that those guys took those cars?" Louis asked.
"They have some sort of fuel probably ethanol but yeah I do," Clementine replied.
They pulled up to the Walmart and were shocked at what they saw. The Walmart's little door barricade had been burned and there was a big hole in the middle. Louis got out of the car and carefully approached the entrance.
"Oh fuck," Louis muttered, "The hell are we supposed to do now?"
"We need to investigate," Clementine said, "There must be someone in there!"
They all carefully stepped through the hole and looked around. Everything was either blown to bits or charred by molotovs. It only took two steps for them to come across Jerry's toasted reanimated body trapped under debris.
"Oh god," Omar gagged.
The smell was still fresh; it had to have happened around the same time they were being attacked.
"This is our fault," Nico gasped, "They followed Bob and those guys back here and waited to attack."
Clementine felt terrible it was ultimately her fault that Bob left so soon and was followed. She ran to the back where they typically were at and it was blown to smithereens so much rubble it was impossible to get in.
Everyone was startled when they heard rustling from one of the old cooking supply isles. A figure began groaning as they stood up.
"Freeze," Clementine ordered, upon further examination she saw it was Ellie.
"Bitch don't tell me to freeze, I live here," Ellie scoffed, "Did you assholes lead any more people back here did you?"
"It wasn't our fault," Louis quipped.
"So you think that it's a fucking coincidence that the day after we met you it all goes to hell?" Ellie asked.
"The more time we waste here the farther away they get," Clementine said, "Who else survived?"
"I saw Seb and Bob get dragged off then a grenade flung that stuff on me," Ellie explained.
Back at Miles' compound things were becoming much more tense.
"Alright it seems you need some motivation to point it at someone other than yourself!" Miles sighed.
The door to the room flew open and several people tied to wheely chairs were pushed in. Miles ripped off the bags that were covering their heads. It was Hazel, Seb, and Bob.
Logan, Henry, and Mary's two second reunion with Hazel was cut short as Miles shot her in the head, killing her instantly.
"Asshole!" Logan shouted.
"You'll pay for that you son of a bitch!" Henry yelled.
"Now shoot at someone other than yourself or me or else this kid is next. Also you shits better watch your words as one more cuss directed towards me is a bullet to good old Seb's groin here," Miles chuckled, "And possibly even good old Bob getting beaten to death with a hot iron rod."
They all sat there stunned at what Miles had just threatened to do.
"Wow so you've never fought someone who's lost everything have you?" Miles asked, "Is it awkward because that bitch sitting right next to you torched my pregnant wife and kids? With no mercy? You guys think that the world is so black and white don't you? Get over yourselves!"
It was Anne's turn for the roulette again. Her hands were shaking as she raised it. She didn't want to shoot anybody. Several seconds passed and she made her choice. She pulled the trigger while it was at the side of her head and the bullet wasn't in that round. Before Anne could even lower the gun Miles blew her brains out with his pistol.
"Are you assholes deaf?" Miles asked, "I explicitly said no more being a little bitch!"
"Now Logan, I sincerely implore you to choose wisely!"
Logan and Henry were covered in Anne's blood and they were shaking rapidly.
Miles held the gun up to the back of Seb's head and pointed to Logan and Henry with his other hand, "Now you two both know what I can do to a body, and this will be just the beginning of the mutilation. So choose wisely at where you point that gun Logan."
