Author's Notes: We have a nice chapter here! Honestly one of my favorites. The next chapter will be the finale of this story arc so brace yourselves!

Logan raised the gun and his arms were shaking. Anne's blood was still all over him and it was starting to dry. Logan pointed the gun at Willy.
"I'm sorry," Logan lamented squeezing the trigger.

The gun didn't fire, the bullet wasn't in that chamber. Logan quickly threw it back on the table still sweating. The next person up was Willy who was sitting across from Logan. Willy picked up the gun and when he rotated the cylinder there was a click which made everyone's stomachs drop.

"Yeah it makes a different sound when there's a bullet in the chamber," Miles chuckled, "Who are you gonna choose Willy?"

Willy looked around the table and he was also starting to sweat.

"If I could make a tiny suggestion then I'd shoot Logan," Miles insisted, "Think about it he pointed that thing at you and even with his hesitation he still ultimately pulled the trigger. He would've cut your life short kid. I imagine you wanna live to see things maybe get better. Logan tried to take that from you."

A look of determination settled on Willy's face as he pointed it at Logan.

"Willy believe me I didn't want to, but what else was I supposed to do! Let Seb be killed?" Logan asked.

"Shoot him kid," Miles barked.

"Willy don't," Logan pleaded.

"Willy do it!" Miles roared.

Willy screamed as he pulled the trigger. All that came out of the gun was confetti, the bullet didn't even shoot out.

"Damn!" Miles laughed, "Your friend aimed it at you cause he had to or Seb would be beaten to death, but all I had to do was fuck with your head like Maren said!"

Everyone's eyes lit up when they realized what he said.

"God damn it, fuck!" Miles cursed, "Shit was supposed to be a whole ass dramatic reveal. Alright kid get your ass out here."

Maren walked in the room sipping some water from a cup.

"Hey assholes," she said.

"You bitch!" Logan shouted, "Anne and Hazel died because of you!"

"Nope they died, because of Mary's dumbass roasting a building of people alive!" Maren replied.

"So that lets him kill children!?" Mary yelled, "Why are you doing this?"

"It's in my nature if anything it was your fault for trusting me. You think after leaving me tied up in that shed I'd forget? I was about to tell Miles about where the school was, but Logan followed me so I had to detour to the shack to pass it off as fishing. Then when he was dealing with the walkers I ran back so I wouldn't draw suspicion. It's honestly damning you guys think I'd change after lying the first time. Who do you think got Lukas killed?" Maren smirked.

Bob looked back over at Miles to see if he was still distracted since he had almost broken through the rope. Miles quickly glanced back at Bob who pretended to be unconscious again. Two seconds after Miles looked back, Bob had finally broken through the rope and sprang up. Wasting no time he quickly punched Miles. Bob wasn't there when Miles mentioned the snipers so he didn't expect immediate resistance. With a stroke of luck the snipers shot each other since they couldn't see where the other snipers were positioned at.

Miles kicked Bob in the groin which made him collapse and gave him and Maren enough time to get out of the room.

"Fuck," Bob groaned.

"Oh thank god," Aasim chuckled, "We're saved!"
"Actually he's probably getting his little army to throw every grenade in here to kill us," Logan said.

Bob got up the pain from the kick somewhat subsiding and began to untie them. Logan started helping to untie people after he was untied.

"This is insane, how are we supposed to do this?" Seb asked.

"We do this by getting that little loading bay door thing open before we're corpses riddled with bullet holes," Bob said.

They managed to get the door up just as grenades came flying through the windowed door that Miles used to leave. Everyone was out and they quickly pulled the door back down just as the grenades exploded.

"Shit we gotta start running," Logan panted, "We're in the middle of this city."

"He's right and it's only a matter of seconds before the guards get here," Bob agreed.

Everything in the town was falling apart but was being renovated. There had clearly been a lack of maintenance over the past few months.

"I guess Gregory let all this deteriorate when he was in charge," Logan muttered.

They heard footsteps coming around the side of the building and they started running.

"Fuck what're we going to do?" Aasim asked.

Logan looked around and his eyes were drawn to a ladder on the side of a building.

"I have an idea, follow me," Logan told them.

He started climbing the ladder and everyone followed close behind.

They crouched down on the roof to hide.

"Alright well we can actually hide here for now. So what's the rest of the plan?" Bob asked.

"Uh y'know hide here until they stop the search," Logan replied.

An old speaker nearby turned on and there was a sound of tapping on a microphone.

"You fuckers can run, but you can't hide for long," Miles barked over the speakers, "Scour the city head to toe roof to basement! If you come across them shoot them in the knees then bring them to me for execution!"

"I don't think help is coming," Seb panicked.

"Clementine will find us she's done this before," Aasim assured him.

"What does it matter the Walmart is in ruins! Ellie was blow to bits! Jerry was shot dead like a dog! We don't know where the hell Ken and the others went!" Seb argued, "Everything Bob has been working to support went down with it!"

Seb looked over to Bob who was lost in thought.

"See even he believes it deep down!" Deb continued.

"We don't have time for this!" Logan interrupted, "I don't know if you guys forgot about Miles telling people to search their houses including roofs, but I sure didn't. We need to go now!"

While they were hiding Clementine and the others were trying to track them down.

"So your plan is what exactly?" Ellie asked.

"They drove off that way so they must be in a nearby city. Since they wouldn't waste that much gas or ethanol," Clementine explained.

"Oh fun a twenty mile walk," Ellie said sarcastically.

A few minutes later the truck Ken and the others fled in came into view. Ellie ran over with Clementine following close behind to see if Ken and the others were okay. When they got there they were horrified to see Ken's body which was half eaten with a bullet hole in his head. The only other signs were Mac's pistol and Green's hoodie which had the word dell written in blood.

"Oh my god," Louis said, "A truck!"

Everyone turned to look at him.

"It's tragic, but at least we have a vehicle," Louis defended.

"Let's see if it works first before cheering," Clementine said.

She got in the driver's seat and saw the key was still there. Clementine twisted the key and the engine roared to life.

"Let's go!" Louis cheered, jumping in the back of the truck.

They sped off down the road wasting no time.

At Miles' city things were getting intense. Soldiers had found them on the roof and started shooting. They ducked down and threw a brick at them which distracted them long enough in order to start jumping from roof to roof.

A bullet grazed Seb's leg which caused him to keel over in pain for a few moments.

"Fuck," Seb groaned before running again albeit with a limp.

Willy narrowly avoided getting shot in the foot as he stumbled.

"We're running out of roof!" Willy complained.

"Well thank you, Mr. Helpful!" Logan refuted, "It's totally not like I can't fucking see it!"

Only a few moments later they were skidding to a stop at the edge.

"Put your hands up! It's not too late. If you come with us you'll have a humane death," a soldier explained.

"Maybe we should take the deal guys," Aasim whispered, "We don't have any other options."

"I agree it's the best course of action," Bob agreed.

The soldiers shoved them to the ground and searched for any weapons they may have found after their escape.

"You honestly believed the whole surrender thing?" the soldier chuckled pulling them up, "He's most likely going to blow your heads to bits now!"

"Oh Fuck," Henry muttered.

"You can say that again," Logan sighed.

"At least we were the only ones captured," Bob said.

"Clementine will find a way to save us," Aasim assured him.

"Then they're doomed too," Bob replied.

Logan got a glimpse of the city. He saw many shops which was surprising and there were prices. These people actually have an economic system in place. There were many families watching from their house's windows. He realized how this must look, from the lies Miles was feeding them. Logan knew they probably looked like invaders, savages, or monsters to these people.

There was a crowd in front of a makeshift guillotine. Their stomachs instantly dropped as they saw Miles smiling.

"It's judgement day," he smiled sinisterly.
