Author's Notes: We're closing in on the end! I really wanted to end it on the one year anniversary, but it seems life had other plans. Anyway expect the last chapter tomorrow!

Three days later. Logan was nearly at Lexington. His head was throbbing and he closed his eyes and held it in pain. When he opened his eyes he saw Gregory.

"How's the brain damage?" Gregory asked.

"What the fuck do you mean?" Logan asked.

"I thought you were young and naïve not young and stupid!" Gregory chuckled, "I bashed your head as hard as I could against a thick tree! You were in a collapsing building! And a collapsing tower! Did you think that wouldn't give you brain damage? It also didn't help that Maren smashed your head against the floor after you stabbed her a few times."

"No this is just a mirage, I'm just dehydrated," Logan said to himself.

"You had a bottle of water thirty minutes ago!" Gregory shouted, "It's a cool beautiful day! Admit it, you're as crazy as I am!"

Logan glared at Gregory, but he did have to question if it was true. He looked at the sign and was ten miles away from Lexington. His plan was to find some sort of supplies before setting out to find the others. His hallucination of Gregory disappeared.

"About time," Logan huffed.

He was nervous that what Gregory said was true. Well not what Gregory said, what his mind said. A sharp pain in his head had him grasp it, when he regained his senses he saw Ellie in front of him.

"Hey," Ellie chuckled.

"Is this what you were always like or is my mind just being a dick?" Logan asked.

"Hey man it's your mind," Ellie replied.

"Wait hold on if I'm hallucinating you then what else am I hallucinating?" Logan asked, "There could be a walker that I see as a tree or a walker as a person….."

He looked back over at the hallucination of Ellie and saw that it was actually a walker. Logan quickly took out his knife and killed the walker.

"Oh fuck I'm going crazy!" Logan panicked, "Fuck would I even know? Oh god fuck!"

Ten miles away Clementine and Bob were searching through the wreckage of Gideon's car.

"Why'd we send him off as soon as he could walk?" Willy asked, "He knows what's in the car."

"He lied to us about being from Alexandria. Who knows what else he could've lied about and we don't want whatever shit he had with other people following us," Ellie replied, "I still think we should've ripped his stitches out."

Willy did his best to pry the compact metal of the trunk open and found a flattened can of beans.

"Fuck," Willy muttered.

"Alright this is pointless," Ellie sighed, "We've been peeling back this metal for hours and all we've found is a can of beans! The trunk is smashed literally no food could have survived."

"How's it going over there?" Clementine asked.

"Piss poor," Ellie exclaimed.

"When are we going to be on our way to Alexandria?" Willy asked.

"We just have to let Bob finish packing the food and water on the van's cargo trailer and then we'll go," Clementine told him.

Bob grunted as he placed the last crate of supplies in the cargo trailer.

"Alright some people will have to ride in the cargo trailer with the supplies since there isn't enough room in the back of the van," Bob coughed.

"Anyone who wants to voluntarily do it feel free to do it," Clementine ordered.

Aasim, Bethany, and Nico clambered into the cargo trailer which left enough room for everyone else in the back of the van. Aj, Henry, Mary, Omar, Louis, and Ellie got in the back part of the van while Clementine and Bob sat up front.

"Let's roll!" Bob chuckled as he started driving.

They set off towards Alexandria unknowingly going even further from where Logan was. He was in shambles he had taken off his vest in an effort to cool off. It had gotten hotter and he was burning.

"Oh god," Logan groaned.

He pulled out his last water bottle and gulped it down. As he finished it, he could see something in the distance.

"Who's there!?" Logan shouted.

"Calm down friend," the man said, "My name is Gideon."

"Are you real?" Logan asked.

"What?" Gideon replied.

"ANSWER ME," Logan screamed.

"What the fuck am I answering?" Gideon asked.

*Are you real or are you in my head!" Logan shouted.

"I'm real!" Gideon replied.

"Where did you come from?" Logan asked, grabbing Gideon.

"Most recently, some old military encampment near Lexington was run by some people named Bob and Clementine," Gideon explained.

"Clementine and Bob?" Logan asked, "Take me there now!"

"Well hold on man they were getting ready to move out last time I was there," Gideon explained.

"Have you seen any cars that could be in working condition?" Logan asked.

"Yeah just five minutes the way I came," Gideon replied.

"Well let's go!" Logan smiled, "I know them, I can get you back in the group."

"How are you so willing to trust me?" Gideon asked.

"I've lost track of how long I've been separated from them and I'm afraid I'm losing my mind," Logan explained, "Now let's go!"

They started running, it took them two minutes to find the car. Logan tore open the panel under the steering wheel and went to work. He got the car working a minute later. Gideon got in the driver's seat while Logan hopped into the passenger seat. Gideon floored it and they were speeding towards the former encampment of Clementine and Bob's group.
