Protectors of the Realm
in The Scavenger
In the Undercity, a stranger wearing a hood is walking by. Until he noticed a boy looking at some fruit.
The stranger gave the boy an apple and left, then a big salesman noticed it, and glared at the stranger.
"You better be able to pay for that." the salesman took out a sword.
Then the stranger pulled out a dagger and knocked the sword right out of the salesman's hand and used it against him.
"You were saying," asked the stranger.
"On second thought, that one's on the house." the salesman shivered.
The stranger walked away with his new sword, then the wind blew and a piece of paper flew by. It got the stranger's attention, he caught it and saw that it's the Protectors' wanted poster.
"50 million gold, huh," he said.
Meanwhile, at the Royal Palace, the Realm Protectors are making new lyrics to beat the Emeraldites.
"Hey Protectors, how's it hangin'?" Zarya came.
"Perfect," Mike answered. "We're making new songs we'd never made before," he said.
"And with our mind of music, we can be the greatest band of all time," said Tom.
"Fabtacular!" Piper spoked.
"Yeah, fabtacular," Sienna smirked.
Later, at the Magi Mall, the Young Royals decide to do a little shopping to get their minds off the Protectors.
"You were right John, this is a good idea," said Steven.
"Yeah, it's the only place fun enough to distract one from headache," said John.
Then suddenly, the stranger came, blocking the Young Royals' path.
"Can we help you?" Gawayne questioned.
"Yeah." Then the stranger removed his hood and reveals that he has brown hair, wears a blue shirt with a brown vest, blue pants, and brown shoes. And his name is, Timmy Lacks. "My name is Timmy Lacks, I'm here to talk about the Protectors of the Realm." he showed them the wanted poster.
"What are they in for,"
"Well, they freed King Brax, Queen Necrafa's brother. And are declared outlaws of the Realm." Zachary explained.
"But ain't mistakes, great teachers," said Timmy.
"Actually, that mistake is unforgivable," said John, which surprised Timmy.
Later, back at the Royal Palace, the Realm Protectors are rehearsing, while Bobby checked the frequency of the instruments.
"That was excellent, guys," said Bobby.
"Yeah, we're totally awesome," said Dillon.
"You mean totally lame," They turned and saw the Young Royals mockingly laughing at the Realm Protectors, with Timmy behind them.
"Aw man, and just when we were having fun," said Zeke.
"And who's this guy," Emerald pointed.
"Him, oh this is Timmy Lacks. He's the new guy who's gonna capture the Protectors," said John.
"Hw doesn't look like a bounty hunter to me," said Bobby.
"That's because he's a scavenger," said Mike. "Scavengers find anything in the Realm and keep it or sell it. And their motto is, I take what I want, and I want what I take.'," he explained.
"So where am I gonna find the Protectors?" Timmy asked.
"They came out when the Realm is under attack," Gawayne explained. "we hired every bounty hunter to capture them, but as usual, they mess up!" he said.
That's when the alarm went off, Drake City is in trouble.
"Looks like it's your call girls," said Mike.
Mysticon Dragon Mage.
Mysticon Ranger.
Mysticon Striker.
Mysticon Knight.
"The Mysticons," Timmy said in amazement.
Then the Mysticons went into action, while the others stayed and watch the glyph.
At Drake City, the Dragon Patrol and the Shadow Troopers are invading the city.
"All right, now where is it?" said Angus, but he's been hit by an arrow. They looked up and saw the Mysticons.
"Shadow Troopers, attack!" Phillip ordered, and the Shadow Troopers charged to attack, while the Dragon Patrol looked for something.
Arkayna and Zarya blocked a few attacks and knocked them down.
Piper dodged a few strikes from the Shadow troopers, as one of them was about to strike her from behind, Emerald appeared and blocked the attack with her shield.
"Thanks, Em," said Piper.
"Don't mention it," said Emerald. And they continue to fight.
After they've beaten the Shadow Troopers, the Mysticons wondered why the Dragon Patrol didn't fight.
"What are those guys doing," Piper questioned.
They saw Phillip punching the ground, and caught... an Emeraldite.
"King Brax tasked us to locate an Emeraldite in Drake City," said Phillip, then he placed it on his arm. "After all, he wants them to rule the Realm," he said.
Phillip began to grow spikes out of his shoulders, talons grew on his feet, and a dragon muzzle grew on his face.
He roared and soar to attack the Mysticons.
Back at the Royal Palace, everyone was still watching the battle, but the Protectors are worried that if those Royal Pains find out that they're the Protectors, they're in trouble.
"Where are the Protectors?" William asked.
"I don't know," Marcus spoked. "They must be late," he suggested.
"Realm Protectors, be joys, and get us drinks."
The Realm Protectors glared at them for that, but it's also a good opportunity to change. They left the throne room until no one spots them.
"Looks like we're home free," said Dillon.
"Good. Then let's do this," said Mike.
Protector Knight.
Protector Guardian.
Protector Acrobat.
Protector Tracker.
Protector Illusionist.
Later, back in the city, the Mysticons struggled to beat Phillip.
"This is getting out of hand," Arkayna said in exhaustion, and she dodged Phillip's bite attack.
Piper threw her hoops at him, but due to his thick hide, he's impenetrable.
"Our weapons won't work!" said Emerald, until Phillip's been hit by rays.
The Mysticons turned and saw the Protectors.
"Miss us?" said Mike.
But Phillip roared and charged to attack, they avoided his claws and Zeke triked to strike him, but Phillip grabbed his sword with his talon. Which causes Zele to giggle nervously, until Phillip tossed him, but Zarya caught him.
Tom slashed him and jumped Phillip's incoming attack. He tried to strike him but Mike blocked his claws.
Suddenly, Timmy appeared by order of the Young Royals.
"Oh no, not that guy," said Dillon in shock.
"Look, we'll have coffee later. In the meantime, we're busy," said Mike.
"I have my orders to capture you." said Timmy "I know that you're fixing your mistakes, but it's not enough," he said.
Then he pulled out his sword and charged to attack. And then, he struck Phillip.
"But I know that you Protectors are no threat, and I know an Emeraldites weakness."
Timmy pulled out a set of bongos from his hood and set it down to the ground, then he began to play a tune.
The heroes were amazed that a scavenger played an instrument.
Then, the Emeraldite jumped of Phillip which turned him back to normal, and it started to dance from the bongo beat. And Emerald caught it and put it in a jar, then the Dragon Patrol retreated.
"Thanks, we thought you were gonna capture us," said Tom.
"Hey, I'm a scavenger. I take what I want, and I want what I take," said Timmy, then they spotted the Young Royals' limo, which means trouble. So the Protectors flee.
"You let them get away! Why did you do that!?" said Gawayne who is outrage, and so are the others.
"Because King Brax is the most powerful being ever, and the Protectors are the only ones who can save the Realm," said Timmy.
The Mysticons smiled at his remark, while the Young Royals just glared at him, just because he did the right thing.
