Protectors of the Realm
in Mecha Mayhem
At the Protectors' castle, the Realm Protectors started to wake up in exhaustion, except for Mike.
"Rise and Shine Protectors!" said Mike, only to get hit by pillows.
Later at breakfast, Zeke is cooking some pancakes.
"Breakfast is served," Zeke said as he brought the pancakes. "Goblin pancakes with strawberry toppings," he said.
"Well I know one thing, goblins make the best goblin pancakes," said Dillon.
"Hey Tom, you hungry?" asked Sienna, then Tom came in.
"I would love to eat, but I was up all night reading this book," Tom explained.
"Yeah I know," Mike spoke. "Dillon found a book to free Magnus. So, it's OK," he said.
Yeah. But it says in order for the spell to cast, it needs three people who are head of the Astromancers, Mysticon Drage Mage, and Protector Knight." Tom explained it to the others.
The ret couldn't believe what they're hearing, only the three leaders of their organizations could free Magnus from his crystal prison.
"Do you think we can convince Proxima to help us, Mike?" Zeke said to Mike.
"Maybe. But, I don't know." Mike said with lost words.
Then the door opened, they turned and spotted the Young Royals and Tom quickly hid the book.
"Hello, Realm Protectors." John greeted mockingly. "Do you have some stuff you'd like to share?" he asked.
"Actually, we don't," Mike said in annoyance, and so are his friends who looked annoyed as well. "And I heard you cut every funding in Power City so you can give a bounty hunter the reward for the Protectors' capture," he said.
"Yeah, we just wanted to make sure that we have it," he replied.
"Actually I have to agree with him on that one," Gawayne spoke. "I mean the city could use the funding to be safe," he said feeling unsure.
"Don't be ridiculous. A little explosion doesn't hurt people."
"Yeah, but a lot can kill you." spoked Mike. "Fine. Follow us to the dungeon," he said.
They followed them to the old dungeon, and see that in each cell are one of the Protectors' experiments. Some of them are a success and some of them failed, then they stopped at a cell with a backpack.
"What's that?" questioned Steven.
"It's a backpack alarm," Dillon answered. "It's where you pull a string to activate the alarm when you feel threatened," he explained.
Until Zachary spotted something in a different cell, it is a robot with two swords on its hands and a metal mask that covers its mouth.
"What is that thing?" Zachary asked.
"It's a robot people use in Machination. I bought it two weeks ago, leave it alone, it's a bad robot." Zeke explained.
"Anyway, you can sell the backpack we're going out. See ya later," said Mike as they left. But John has a different idea.
Later at the Astromancer Academy, the Protectors explained everything to Proxima.
"And that's everything you need to know," Mike finishing his explanation to Proxima. But Proxima wasn't sure about this.
"I don't know. The last time the Codex was reassembled, the Mysticons stoled it," said Proxima.
"Come on. they only did it to free the king and queen," said Zeke.
"Then how will we know if you're not gonna steal the Coden from us?" she questioned.
"Well, you could get off the chair and walk around for a bit." Dillon smiled, but the Astromancers weren't even laughing.
"Oh, we need some convincing to do," said Sienna with a deadpanned expression.
Meanwhile, back at the Protectors' castle, the Young Royals have carried the robot out of the dungeon.
"Uh, what are we going to do with that thing?" asked Gawayne.
"Because we can't hire a bounty hunter without a lot of gold, so we decided to use that robot to capture the Protectors. No bounty hunter, no loss of gold." said John and he took out the Protectors' wanted poster and just as he turned, the robot disappeared.
"Hey guys, what happened to the robot?" he said, and the others soon took notice and they looked around.
"I don't know John," said William who is absolutely dumbfounded.
Later at Brax's castle, the Shadow Troopers are creating laser cannons, and the Dragon Patrol were supervising it.
"How's the construction?" King Brax came, and the Dragon Patrol bowed.
"Yes King Brax, but we're almost out of metal," Phillip informed Brax.
"Then get more metal," he ordered.
Back at the Astromancer Academy, the Protectors are waiting for Proxima's decision. Then she came back to the council.
"I've talked to Arkayna, and she says she'll do it," said Proxima.
"Yes!" said Tom as the Protectors smiled.
"But you'll have to wait until she's done with her duties as the new queen," she explained.
"But for how long?" Mike questioned.
"Well, her break time as the queen does take a while. So I say, three weeks."
"Rats!' said Tom.
Suddenly, the academy's alarm went off.
"What's happening?!" yelled Sienna.
"It's coming from the armory!" yelled Proxima.
They went to the armory and to their surprise, the Dragon Patrol and the Shadow Troopers are stealing the metal.
Meanwhile, back at Power City, the Young Royals are trying to find that robot.
"I don't understand?" questioned John. "How could a robot vanished into thin air?" he questioned even more.
"Maybe it's just like one of those movies we watched," Marcus said in realization. "Think about it. Robots move on their own without a controller, maybe that's why it disappeared," he explained, but the others groaned in annoyance.
"Come on, that's only in movies," John said to Marcus. "Robots are just dumb machines who can't think," he said.
Suddenly, they heard swords that were unsheathed, they slowly turned around and found the robot who is now glaring at them with glowing red eyes.
The Young Royals let out a scream of fright just as the robot was about to slice them down, they avoided the sword and ran, but the robot was right on their tail.
Back at the Astromancer academy, the Astromacners were facing off against the Shadow Troopers. But the Dragon Patrol overpowered them.
"This is impossible!" yelled Proxima as her blasts couldn't knock down the Dragon Patrol.
"Well, you should've tried exercising," Zeke said with a smug, as he dodged Claude's claw.
Then Angus and Kevin breathed fire, but Tom conjured a shield to deflect the attack.
Dillon created magical balls and he struck them, and the balls struck a few Shadow Troopers. Suddenly, Dillon avoided Phillip's attack, and then Mike clashed with him and they began to fight each other.
Then Sienna conjured up a thunderstorm and the lightning struck the Shadow Troopers.
"I've had enough of this!" said Phillip and he jumped back. "Ready boys!" he hollered.
Then the Dragon Patrol blasted their fire breath attack, but Proxima created a dome to protect themselves. But the fire is too powerful and Proxima is struggling to concentrate as the dome has a few cracks.
After the Dragon Patrol stopped using their attack, Proxima collapsed from exhaustion.
"Well," Phillip giggled. "looks like the Star Mistress is getting tired already," he said and he begins to walk towards her.
But then the Protectors went in front of Proxima to protect her.
"We don't think so Phillip!" said Mike. "You may be Brax's new commander, but we can beat you," he said.
"Come on," Phillip said to Mike. "Brax gave us more power, the power that will destroy you!" he said.
Just as Phillip was about to attack, he was knocked down by a blast of green fire. Everyone turned and spotted the Mysticons.
"I don't think so Stonewall!' spoke Arkayna.

They fired their animal bracers at them and the force of the blasts almost knocked down the Dragon Patrol.
"Hey Proxima, can you fire a ball?" Mike said to Proxima.
"Why?!" Proxima asked in confusion.
"Because I got an idea," he replied.
"And why should I trust you," she said sternly.
"Because they're the smartest people we ever met," said Zarya.
With no other choice, Proxima cerated a magical ball and threw it, then the Protectors jumped up and slashed for their attack.
The beams merged with the orb giving it a rainbow appearance, and it struck the Dragon Patrol with a powerful impact and they were knocked down.
"Let's go! Grab everything that you can!" Phillip ordered, and the Dragon Patrol took some of the metal and they flew off.
"That takes care of them," Dillon smirked.
"What did they steal?" Sienna asked Proxima.
"Only metal," Proxima answered.
"Metal? Why would they steal metal?" Tom said in confusion.
"I'd say they're gonna use the metal to create weapons," said Arkayna.
"Man. That is not good," said Zeke.
"Sorry that we're late, I was so caught up on queen duty that I completely zoned out, and I was giving this surprising demand by one of the citizens that the Realm Protectors are gonna perform in Drake City. With a special guest." Arkayna explained and she gave Mike a card, and the Protectors looked at the card in amazement.
"I'm sure they're gonna perform." Mike smiled and so did the others.
Later, the Young Royals made it to the Protectors' castle to get away from that crazy robot.
"I think we lost it," Steven said in exhaustion.
But he's out of luck because the robot burst in and swung its arms around and they screamed in fear.
"What are we gonna do now?!" William yelled.
"I know what I'm gonna do," said John, and he grabbed a sledgehammer and with one swing, John decapitated the robot's head and the body fell down. After that John smirked in triumphant.
Then the Protectors and the Mysticons came in and they witnessed the commotion.
"What did you stone heads do to my robot!?" Zeke yelled in anger.
"That robot was possessed by a demon. But we're safe now." John explained.
"It was a bad robot," Gawayne added.
"It was defective!" Zeke corrected, which surprises the Young Royals. "It was a neural link controlled robot that had a short-circuit with a bad scri-fi connection. That's why it was in the dungeon! I was going to return it and get a refund! But now, I'm out 5,000 gold!" he explained.
"Don't worry," Em spoke. "A couple of repairs and you'll get your gold back guaranteed," she said.
A few hours later in Drake City, the Protectors are organizing their instruments for their next performance, and then Arkayna came to the stage.
"Here's your gold Zeke. I'm sorry for what happened," said Arkayna, as she have Zeke his gold.
"It's not your fault, those guys were just trying to find their own bounty hunter," said Zeke, and the lights aimed at the Protectors, and everyone cheered.
"Hello, Drake City!" spoked Mike. "We're here today to play our next performance with rockstar legend, Vesper!" he said, then Vesper came and the crowd cheered.
Vesper: Hey!
Then Vesper began to vocalize the song.
Vesper: Close your eyes, ghoul. Look inside, ghoul.
Let the wish take you away!
Tom concentrated on the beat and the Mysticons began to enjoy the song.
Vesper: Close your eyes, ghoul. Look inside, ghoul.

Then Mike and Dillon strum their guitars, while Sienna strums the base.
Vesper: I like to dream, yeah.
Amazing wishes.
So extreme.
Zeke played his keyboard to match the rhythm.
Vesper: On a cloud, I'll be drifting tonight.
Anywhere it goes is right. Goes far, flies through,
Making all your screams come true!
The people were dancing and the Protectors were playing.
Vesper: We don't know till we try.
Why don't you come with me, little ghoul. On a magic carpet ride.

Why don't you tell your screams to me. Making a wish to set us free.
Then the Protectors are listening to the beat again.
Vesper: Close your eyes, ghoul. Look inside, ghoul.

Mike tapped his foot and Sienna listened to the beat.
Vesper: Close your eyes, ghoul. Look inside, ghoul.

Then Tom banged on the drums.
Vesper: Last night I held the genie's lamp!
Thirteen wished she could grant! So many screams inside of me.
Which one will choose to sem me free. I fooled around.
But my wish could not be found.
Zeke continued to press the keys and Sienna listened to the rhythm.
Vesper: But you don't know what we can find. Why don't you come with me, little ghoul.
On a magic carpet ride.

Then fireworks began to explode in the sky.

Then the Protectors are listening for their big finish.

The song came to an end, and the crowd cheered.
"Another one for the Realm Protectors." Mike smiled.
"Hey" Dillon spoke. "Do you guys notice anything different?" he asked.
"No, not really," Zeke replied.
"Well check this out." Dillon pointed, the Protectors turned and spotted the Young Royals giving away tickets.
"Now there's something you don't see every day," said Sienna.
"Hey, isn't this a sold-out concert?" Gawayne questioned.
"Not anymore," John smirked as he counted the gold.
Looks like the Young Royals get rich plan finally worked, so they won't cut the funding in Power City anymore.
