Chapter 1: (Uncannon) Encounter
Luffy couldn't fight off the huge smile that was on his face. After beating up Alvida, and hearing Coby take control of his own life once more really felt good. Not only that, but leaving the ship and taking off would mean the (official) start of his journey to become the pirate king. Without a doubt in his mind, Luffy bravely jumped from the deck inside the boat, not caring about Coby's late concerns. The small fishing boat landed safely in the water. A wall of sea water erupted, yet in that wall there was a small window of thinning water. And in an odd sense of fate, behind that wall was a girl. Dark ebony eyes met dark brown. The vision of the girl with short red hair burned into his retinas as he stared blankly at her. However, in that moment, where it seemed nothing existed but the two of them, the intense wall of water shot up once more, ensuring their separation.
