A Total Drama Story
Total Drama World Tour and I
Hi Dive Off High Point
Chapter 12
~Last Time on Total Drama World Tour~
Raging rivers, carnivorous animals, and a tribe of natives. The cast find themselves wandering lost in the Amazon jungle. Taking on several dangerous challenges while making their way too the safety of the checkpoint located at a lost city. While the Radical Sports and Music Strikers faced the worse trouble that could come their way, the Platypus' had to deal with the local natives who thought Becky was their Goddess. Luckily everyone survived hardcore rapids, a hungry cat, and the natives and the Platypus' won another challenge while Owen may have won himself a fast track ticket home. Curtesy of Alejandro. Will Owen be leaving? Will Alejandro succeed in getting the big guy booted off? Will either of the other teams win a challenge? There's only one way to find out. On with the show!
~On the Plane-Cafeteria~
After a long, near death, and horrific challenge the teens decided to take it easy for a while until the elimination ceremony. It was decided that some warm drinks and clean clothes would sooth the bones that were chilled with terror. They had gone through more than their fair share of danger in one day then they had in a week. By which I mean though they have faced danger in the past on the other Total Drama shows today was more life threatening than previous challenges. The only team who didn't suffer as much danger as the others were the Platypus girls and Cody. Besides being captured by the natives, locked in a cage, and thinking they were going to be sacrificed they had it easy.
Plus they did bring back some great souvenirs to share with everyone on the plane. It was the best way to help perk up everyone's gloomy mood(s). While eating some delicious fruit that was provided in the basket, the teens talked about how they escaped the dangers of plundering rapid waters and a hungry carnivorous beast. If there was a reporter taking notes for an upcoming book(s) these stories would be published in a heartbeat. Hell the stories could become episodes on that old television show, 'I Shouldn't Be Alive'. Then again World Tour was being captured on camera so why bother putting what happened on another TV show? People all over the world must have seen what the teens went through. How could they not witness such a captivating edge of the seat moment(s). Fortunately discussion time was cut short when Chef came in saying it was time for the Music Strikers to head for the Peanut Gallery.
~The Peanut Gallery~
Casting their votes the teens awaited Chris to tally up the votes then say a loud who would be leaving the show. There was no telling who would be getting the boot or if this was another reward prank by Chris. Then again he sounded serious last challenge about someone exiting from the plane. Nothing could be done now except to wait. Chris seemed to be double checking the passport votes. Making sure he was reading them correctly less he make a mistake. Which was unlikely in his case. I think he wanted to add suspense to the tension of waiting. Classic Chris for you.
"Okay I've counted the votes and I have to say this is something." Began Chris holding up the passports in one hand. "The votes were unanimous and the person leaving tonight is...Owen."
"Huh?! What?! Me?!" Came an over shocked Owen in distressed. "I thought everybody liked me?"
"Hang on a second, Chris you said the votes were unanimous. How could that be? I doubt Owen voted for himself and I know I didn't vote for him." Said Trent trying to make sense of this.
"Yeah...I didn't vote Owen off. Why would I vote for my boyfriend?" Asked Izzy.
"I didn't vote off Owen." Said Geoff.
"Neither did I." Said Bridgette.
"Sorry but the votes don't lie." Said Chris showing everyone the passports. Each one had a picture of Owen with a big X over his face. "The votes don't lie nor do the pictures. I'm afraid Owen is going home tonight."
A disappointed Owen looked down at the ground. He couldn't believe he was leaving the show so soon. He had hoped he would last till the merge but no, he's getting the boot sooner than expected. How could this be happening? Were the votes really tapered with or had his friends actually voted him off?
~Owen's Confession~
"I'm at a lost. Did my teammates actually vote me off or am I being framed? I mean were the votes tapered with is what I meant to say. *shakes his head* Sorry this is happening so suddenly. I don't know how to react. I need a hug...and some pudding. Chocolate pudding would be nice. Oh no wait make that double chocolate mocha fudge pudding! *licks his lips, lost in thought*"
~Confession Over~
~Trent's Confession~
"Chris said the vote's were unanimous but something doesn't add up. I think someone tampered with the votes but just who I'm not sure."
~Confession Over~
As painful and upsetting as this was no one could do anything about it. Owen had packed up his bags as he prepared to leave the plane. He said his final goodbyes to everyone. Giving out hugs, trying to hold back his tears to no avail, then he was escorted too the limo where he would be taken home. It was still hard to process Owen leaving so soon in the game. How could this happen? How could this have happened? None of his teammates could understand how this happened. All except for one who had a sly smirk on his face.
As soon as Owen was gone after much crying and begging to stay. Had to be dragged by his feet too the limo. He would not go without a fight or at least an attempt to fight back and stay. It is never easy to say goodbye. Especially when Owen didn't deserve to go home. Alas there was nothing that could be done. As soon as Owen left Alejandro made his way too the confession bathroom.
~Alejandro's Confession~
"Ah there is nothing like getting a large load off your shoulders. I said I would get my revenge and I did. Owen was just a liability. A loose screw that could not stay in place. He had to go which is why I sabotaged the votes. With Owen out of the way I can focus my attention on the other competitors. One-by-one they will all go down. *smirks*"
~Confession Over~
Now that Owen was out of the competition things were going to be a tad quiet around the plane. Even Izzy didn't feel much like doing anything stupid and/or crazy. After all Owen was her boyfriend and the two of them had twice as much fun together. Sure Izzy could make her own fun by herself but she was going to miss the big guy. Who would she talk to about all the crazy antics she did or make out with or share a laugh with? Owen was like that missing piece to her that completed the whole of Izzy. He completed her, accepted her for all her insaneness. With Owen gone what's a girl to do? Fortunately her sorrow was quickly replaced when a certain friend came to her aide. A friend who had already helped Lindsey and would now help Izzy.
"Hey Izzy, I heard what happened from Trent. I'm so sorry Owen got the boot." Said Becky taking a seat next to Izzy.
"I know its so weird to see thee ol' big guy go so quickly." Izzy began. "Just when we were going to have an unforgivable time filled with excitement and explosions and possibly get so bruised all over our bodies that we would laugh while in pain."
"Hey I hear you believe me. Plans like that sound more enjoyable when you have another person involved in your uh activities. I think the best thing you can do is keep your head in the game and have twice as much fun for Owen. Just remember that you are competing for the grand prize. Win it for you and Owen." Becky explained to Izzy who thought for a moment before a huge smile grew upon her face.
"By George you are right!" Standing up Izzy began to go deep into the speech about how she would continue to be her Izzy self but double it for Owen. Even though he was no longer in the game she would be playing for the two of them. Owen's spirit would live on so long as Izzy kept up high spirits. She thanked Becky then she did several backflips out of the room. Never a dull moment with Izzy.
(Not Long After)
The plane was now arriving at its next destination after countless hours of soaring through the clouds. Time for the plane to fill up on gas, get air in its tires, and have an engine check. Got to make sure everything is running smoothly less the plane get in some sort of accident. As soon as the plane came to a full stop the teens scrambled out. It had been a long trip and getting some fresh air was wonderful. Plus a change of scenery is always refreshing. Where the plane had landed was in Tenerife, Spain.
That is right folks, Spain. 'Perhaps the most picturesque of the Canary Islands, off the African coast, is Tenerife – famous for its bustling Playa de las Américas beach, adrenaline-pumping Siam Park waterpark and year-round sunshine.' That was just a small portion of information about this beautiful tourist spot. Now what the teens would be doing for their next challenge was located in a secluded area. Near the beach but away from the locals. Their challenge would be taking place by these rock structures. It will make more sense once everyone arrives at the spot. Chris would explain things on the bus ride.
He would explain in great detail about the history of this area in the beautiful land of Spain. Least until Heather interrupted him saying he was boring everyone and asking what this had to do with the challenge. Obviously she wasn't interested in a history lesson at the moment. Much to the disappointment in anyone who wanted to learn about Tenerife. Not wanting to get into an argument Chris decided to skip the history lesson and just get into the details for today's challenge.
Chris had asked everyone to put on their swimsuits before getting on the bus because today's challenge would involve water. Loads of water. The bus was taking them too a beach but the challenge was located in a secluded area of the beach. Sort of off shore but close to land by a good hundred feet or so. They were taking a bus now but upon arrival everyone would be taking a boat too the location of the challenge. Everything was already set up. All the teens would have to do is listen to Chris' instructions on what they would be doing. It was actually pretty simple. At least that is what Chris thought but he was always spicing things up. Changing everything at the last minute was his specialty. Did it matter if he changed things at the last minute for his own amusement? The audience loved watching the teens do insane things on television. In the case of this challenge think back to the first episode of the first season of Total Drama.
As soon as everyone arrived at the beach Chris guided them over to the docks where the boat was waiting. Upon approaching the boat everyone could see just how small and old it was. It had this rustic torn down look. It was a miracle that it was still floating.
~Leshawna's Confession~
"Uh un, if Chris thought he was getting me on that old rockety thing he's got another thing coming. Leshawna refused to ride something disgusting as that old boat."
~Confession Over~
~Izzy's Confession~
"Yahoo! There's nothing more exciting then getting your adrenaline pumped up by riding a dangerous old boat across the ocean. I say bring it on! I'm ready!"
~Confession Over~
"Well here's the beauty that'll take each team across the ocean to the area where the challenge will be taking place." Said Chris with a huge smile on his face. "So who wants to go first?"
"Boy if you think you are going to get me on that little old rusty boat you are crazy." Said Leshawna.
"For once I agree with Leshawna." Said Heather. "I am not getting in that boat. You couldn't pay me to get aboard that thing."
"Well its either riding in the boat or your out of the game." Said Chris gaining the girl's attention after hearing that. There was no getting out of this. Either get aboard the boat or get kicked out of the game. Not much of a choice. Actually, they had no choice.
The girl's reluctantly agreed to board the boat just to stay in the game to win the million. To decide which team would go first, one person from each team would step up and do a game of rock, paper, scissors. Loser would go first to take part in the challenge. Duncan, Cody, and Geoff stepped up to the plate. They each threw down their hands revealing...Duncan=Rock, Geoff=Rock, Cody=Scissors. The Crystal Platypus' would be going first in today's challenge.
"Thanks a lot Cody now we've got to go in that rusty boat and do the dive challenge first." Heather was less than pleased with the results. Giving Cody a cold glare sending a chill down the boys spine. Sierra saw this and got in front of Heather giving her a glare and a growl.
"You leave Cody alone you witch." Said Sierra.
"Who are you calling a witch weirdo?" Heather responded.
"Ladies less complaining more getting on the boat and doing the challenge." Chris cut in motioning to the boat.
The Platypus' got on the boat that took off for the area where the challenge was taking place.
