Total Drama World Tour and I

Hi Dive Off High Point Pt.2

Chapter 13

~Last Time on Total Drama World Tour~

Last time on Total Drama World Tour. The teens were about to embark on an exciting adventure in the beautiful lands of Spain. One that would lift them up to new heights and possible danger. Chris had the idea of having the teens dive from a remote area in the ocean to earn points for the win. Who would perform the best dive maneuvers? Who would avoid breaking any bones? Only one way to find out on Total. Drama. World Tour.

~On with the Show~

The Platypus' had lost rock, paper, scissors and were the first team to take on the dive challenge. Chef was taking them to the remote area where they would be doing some high diving routines for the win. Needless to say no one was excited for this challenge, nor were they comfortable riding in a rusty old boat with an engine that looked ready to give out. Hopefully the engine was strong enough to last the journey back and forth and luckily the teens were reaching their destination. Since the boat was pretty small it could only hold a certain amount of people. That being the five teens and Chef, who was steering the boat. Chris stayed back at the dock area with the other two teams. While he would not be their to watch the Platypus' dive in person he had something set up in advance.

An intern walked down the dock pushing a rolling cart with a small television on top. Everyone had to stand aside to allow room for the guy as he walked up to Chris. Who was obviously expecting the guy because he held his hand out only for a small remote to be placed in it. Then another random guy who was probably part of the camera crew came out carrying and unrolling a long extension cord over to the television. Looked like everyone would be watching the dives from the television. Similar to watching the Olympic swim teams compete.

"Gather round boys and girls, in a few minutes the Platypus' will be approaching the rocky cliff pool where the diving challenge is taking place. We'll get to watch everything from this television and our judges will score each member of the Crystal Platypus based on their dive performance." Chris then points out three random people behind the two teams. All heads turned to see a few familiar faces plus someone new.

The first judge was a familiar whiskered grey gentlemen with long ears munching on a carrot. The second judge was small, about the size of a doll. His skin or rather fur was a teal color and he had a beak and a beaver tail. Both these animal gentlemen wore Spanish clothing. (I am sure you guys can guess who the two judges are.) As for the third judge, a new gentleman stood before the teens. An odd looking fellow who appeared to be a senior with a funny looking left eye. Probably a glass eye but his appearance was more of an old fisherman. Chris said the original judge had to cancel so they paid this guy to be a judge for today's challenge. It was a last minute thing what can you do?

"Okay I ask that the judges move up here so they can see the television. The rest of you will need to gather round and get close behind the judges so they can determine how everyone does diving wise." Chris explained. The judges came up while everyone else had to stand close to each other just to see the television. It was a tight squeeze for the teens. Everyone wanted to see the television but it wasn't easy for most of them.

"Hey McClain, why didn't you spring for a bigger television? Most of us can't see the screen." Duncan complained.

"Sorry Duncan, we were going to hold the viewing on the beach with a large big screen but one of the interns made a mistake with the order so this is the best we can do." Replied Chris, earning groans or small complains from the teens upon hearing the news.

Back with the Platypus' they had reached the dive area. The boat docked in front of a rope ladder that was up against a large rock. The rock had to be thirty feet high. A good height for diving. Everyone's attention was brought back to reality when Chef called out asking who was going first up the rope ladder. The five teens looked at him then each other. No one spoke a word for a few seconds. Somebody had to go up before Chef picked someone, and yet nobody could bring themselves to move.

"So...who's going first?" Asked Cody.

"Thanks for volunteering Cody, you can go first." Said Heather pointing at Cody. She then grabbed him by the shoulders and pushed him towards the ladder. "Your up Cody."

~Cody's Confession~

"Is Heather crazy?! There's no way I could handle the pressure of diving first. Especially from such a high diving point. Okay yeah I did dive off that high cliff back during the first Total Drama season but we're surrounded by rock. I've got a better chance with sharks then rocks."

~Confession Over~

Cody looked up the ladder to the top of the rock. He could see that he would have a flat surface to walk on once at the top; however, he wasn't to keen on going first and yet he found his body moving on its own as he started the climb to the top.

"You can do it Cody! I believe in you!" Sierra cried out.

"You've got this Cody!" Becky cried out.

"Just take a deep breathe and relax!" Gwen cried out.

The girls minus Heather were giving out support for Cody as he climbed further up the ladder. Reaching the top in mere moments. The top surface was as flat as the surface one walks on everyday. The ground was smooth as marble with a few pebbles spread out but no big deal. Cody climbed up then crawled for safety to the other side. When he reached the cliff side he peeked down at the bottom. He could see the sea was calm and settled. Not a wave or shark in sight as far as Cody could tell from first glance though that wasn't to say a shark couldn't be lurking around the area. Hard to say, the sea was a darker color in the area. If there was a shark it was blending in with its surroundings.

The thought of sharks brought a chill down Cody's spine. The hairs on his arms stood up. His heart was beating like a drum at a rock concert. Fear was taking over his body and he was scared to move from his spot. That wasn't good, especially for the others waiting below in the boat. The girls and Chef called out to Cody asking if he was alright, but got no reply.

"Oh no he's probably stuck up there. I'm going up to help him." Said Sierra grabbing the rope ladder. "If I'm not back in five minutes look for me in the water." That said she climbed up to help Cody. When she reached the top she saw Cody on his knees holding onto the edge of the cliff. Looking down at the water, his body quacking in fear.

~Sierra's Confession~

"Poor Cody was frozen on the spot. I had to do something or we'd never get done with the challenge and back to shore. If I pushed him he might get mad at me later and I didn't want him mad at me, or worse he could have gotten hurt if I'd push him and he wasn't aware what was going on. So I did the only thing I knew that could to get him moving."

~Confession Over~

Seeing Cody in his current state Sierra knew there was only one way to get him out of his spot. Going into serious mood Sierra walked up, grabbed Cody though he had a good grip so pulling him up took a little force but she got the job done. This did take Cody by surprise when he found himself in the arms of Sierra. Before he could utter a sentence from his mouth Sierra stopped him. She explained that the only way to get this challenge moving was by taking the big plunge together. Cody wouldn't have to lift a finger. Sierra would do all the work for the both of them. She took a couple steps back to get a good running start. Cody was against it but Sierra ignored his cries and ran for the edge.

Despite Cody's screams and begging it was to late. Sierra jumped off the ledge and gravity did its job pulling her and Cody down towards the water. Sierra screamed with glee while Cody was screaming in terror. He still had sharks on the mind and now rocks were coming to mind. They were surrounded by rocks, it hadn't occurred to Cody that there could be jaggered rocks on the bottom.

"Its officially, we're going to die." Thought Cody.

What feltlike an eternity of falling came to an end as the pair came in contact with the cold water. In seconds their bodies were in the water. Nothing but the deep blue ocean surrounded them. The pair were holding their breathe as they opened their eyes once the impact was over. This part of the ocean was indeed a darker shade of blue but thanks to the sun the pair could see their surroundings. They could see the bottom of the rock pillars along with seagrass and some fish. It was actually beautiful in the water with no shark in sight. In fact something else was coming their way. It looked large but not as large as a shark would appear, but it wasn't small like a fish. The creature swimming up to Sierra and Cody met somewhere in the middle. As the pair or rather sierra was about to swim herself and Cody up to the surface the creature swam into the light revealing itself as a giant sea turtle.

That's right a friendly sea turtle was swimming through the area. Nothing for Cody or Sierra to fear and if they weren't under water they would have breathed a sigh of relief. Speaking of breathing Sierra, who was still holding Cody swam up to the surface. Giving the both of them a breathe of fresh air to enjoy.

"Phew what a relief that a sea turtle was coming our way and not a shark." Said Cody feeling more relaxed now then a minutes ago.

"I know right?" Sierra agreed. "Who'd of thought we get to see a giant sea turtle in this area. Oh I wish I had a water proof camera on me. The underwater pictures would be great for my blog."

"Maybe there's a gift shop around the beach? We could look around if we get the time after the challenge." Cody suggested.

"Great idea Cody let's do that. Oh but first we better head back to the others. Don't want them calling a search party for us."

"Good idea."

And so the pair swam back to the boat together. After Sierra released Cody from her hold to make swimming easier. They called out to the others once they could see the boat. Gwen and Becky were glad to see that neither of them got hurt from the dive. The girls helped the pair up in the boat to relax.

"Okay you two are done." Chef began pointing at Cody and Sierra who were catching their breathe. He turned his attention to Gwen, Becky, and Heather. "Which of you is going next? I've still got two more teams to bring out here and I don't want to waste anymore time." He was just a tad grumpy.

Before anyone could answer Cody grabbed everyone's attention when he stated he saw something in the water. At first there was nothing out there but clear skies and the ocean. Heather made the remark that Cody was probably imagining things but Cody was sure he saw something. He pointed and cried out. Everyone looked and this time they could see something in the water. Something glowing and big and moving right towards them.

"Wh-What is that and why is it coming this way?" Asked Becky who was becoming terrified.

"Everybody brace yourselves!" Chef cried out.

All eyes were on the mysterious object that was swimming towards them. Let me try setting the scene. Five teenagers and an adult were sitting in an old boat near thirty foot tall rock pillars in the middle of the ocean. All attention is drawn to this large bright red glowing object in the water. It was hard to describe what it was besides that but judging by its size it looked to be as long as two-five school buses lined up. It pushed itself through the water at an incredible speed. Coming closer to the boat. Making everyone terrified at what they were about to deal with.

In a blink of an eye the object disappeared. One minute its speeding towards the boat and then it vanishes. Without an explination it simply vanished from the water. Sierra thought it might have disappeared but Chef had other ideas. Quickly he tried getting the engine to start but the engine wouldn't respond. It made some noise but that died down after three seconds. Chef tried again and again to get the engine running but still it would not run. They were sitting ducks unless they got the boat moving.

"Don't just sit around you lazy bums! We need to get this boat moving before that thing pops out!" Said Chef, continuing his efforts to get the engine running.

"What are we suppose to do? We can't go anywhere thanks too that thing you call an engine." Heather pointed out.

"We need some oars or something to push the boat along. Oh maybe we could use our hands to get the boat going?" Said Becky making a suggestion. "I don't know is it'll work but we've got to do something."

"What have we got to lose?" Said Gwen giving a shrug.

Together Becky, Gwen, Cody, and Sierra got into position. Two people on one side of the boat, two on the other. They put their arms outside the boat, hands in the water and started to row or so they were attempting. Their efforts moved the boat but only by a slight inch. They tried pushing harder but no change. Apparently rowing a boat with a group of hands didn't work as much as it did in cartoons.

"Maybe we do need oars after all." Said Cody.

"Sorry guys, I thought this would work but I guess its a better idea in cartoons then reality." Said Becky disappointed her idea didn't work.

"Hey it was a good try. We just need some-." That was all Cody said before he went dead silent. Starring out with his eyes wide open.

"Cody are you okay? Cody? Cody?" Gwen tried to wake him up. Waving a hand in his face but nothing not even a blink of the eye.

"Cody? Sweetie what's the matter?" Asked Sierra sweetly thinking that might wake up Cody. His facial expression didn't change but he did mumble out a couple words. Slowly lifting his arm up he pointed out to the ocean.

"M-M-M-M...S-S-Spe...Speed...M-Mon...Mon-Mon...Mon...Com...Tr-Trouble..."

"What the Hell is he talking about?" Gripped Heather.

Becky followed Cody's finger out where he was pointing. "He's pointing at that!" She cried out in terror.

The mysterious ocean dweller had returned, or rather its giant tentacle made an appearance to the surface. Everybody let out a terrified scream. That tentacle was ginormous. If it hit the boat they'd have to swim for shore. Out of fear and anger Heather kicked the engine several times till out of sheer luck it started. Chef immediately took control and got the boat moving away from the tentacle. Just as it was about to strike down on the boat.

Everybody held on tight to the edges of the boat as Chef drove them back to shore, or tried to if not for more tentacles popping out of the water. The fear meter was rising. Where these tentacles came from wasn't the problem. The real problem was avoiding the tentacles when they popped up and tried striking the boat.

From the dock everyone could see what was happening. They didn't need the television when the real show was right in front of them. The cries for help were loud enough to draw their attention to the right where they could see the giant tentacles crystal clear.

"Whoa check it out a giant monster fight!" Said an excited Izzy.

"That's not a monster fight. Its more of a trying to stay alive and get back to shore without the boat getting hit by a tentacle!" Said a terrified DJ. "They are in trouble Izzy. Actual life or death trouble!"

"Okay where did a giant sea monster come from? Nobody mentioned anything about there being a giant sea monster being in these water." Chris was dumbfounded. Putting the teens in danger was one thing but this was beyond what he had in mind. "Okay we need to get the Platypus' and Chef out of there! I'm open to ideas people!"

Everyone was trying to come up with a plan on how to get the others out of danger but to no avail. Just then a large fishing ship appeared behind them. The old fisherman had left to retrieve his ship when everyone wasn't looking. He said he'd volunteer to go after the sea monster and rescue the others. Just then Duncan and Trent volunteered to come with the fishermen. Their friends not to mention their girlfriends lives were at stake. They couldn't just stand around and do nothing. At first the fisherman wasn't keen on putting anyone else in danger but he liked the boys fighting spirit and agreed to bring them along. Just then Alejandro volunteered to come and help. Much to Duncan's displeasure the fisherman agreed.

Once all three boys were on board the fisherman would have no one else board his ship. He didn't need to be responsible for anyone else. Little did he know as he was starting the ships engine, a certain teal colored mammal snuck on board with a certain gray Spanish rabbit. The ship took off, heading straight for the tentacles.

While help was on its way the Platypus' and Chef were trying to hang on. Chef was doing his best to steer the boat clear of oncoming tentacles. He was driving the boat in all sorts of directions but whenever a tentacle slammed into the water a huge wave would form. Making the ship go up and down with the wave in the water. Everyone had to hold on extra tight when the boat jumped up with each passing wave. Nearly flew out of their seats whenever that happened.

"Chef your going to get us killed before the tentacles do!" Heather cried out clearly annoyed by the situation.

"Shut your trap and watch the road! If we're going to survive then keep an eye on where we need to go!" Chef told her as he continued steering the boat.

Cody and Sierra were holding each other and the boat. All while trying not to scream bloody murder whenever they saw a giant tentacle pop out. Gwen was gripping the boat so tightly her fingernails were digging into the wood. Becky was holding her seat with all her might while trying not to cry. This was not how she thought the day would go. As for Heather she was gripping the both sides of the boat to avoid falling out. While the teens were trying to stay alive Chef continued too drive the boat.

Now everything was going as well as any sea monster attack would. At least until the engine started making strange noises. That could only mean one thing. Chef didn't have time to deal with the engine. He gave the engine a good pounding thinking that would keep it going. As Heather had kicked it earlier which got the engine going. Sadly Chef's fable attempts failed. The engine stopped working. Once again they were sitting ducks.

~Becky's Confession~

"If there's one thing I learned from movies its that sitting in a small boat in the middle of a body of water is never good. I want to live. I WANT TO LIVE!"

~Confession Over~

"Why did we stop? Chef why did we stop?" A terrified Becky asked.

"Darn engine stopped working." Replied Chef pounding at the engine. "Come on you darn thing work!"

"Uh Chef...anytime now would be great." Said Heather who was just as terrified as everyone else.

Chef continued to pound on the engine thinking it would start up the more he did it. While he was pounding the teens looked around the water. The tentacles had retreated underwater. Everything was calm, the water was still around them. That wasn't a good sign.

"Okay we're stranded in a boat in the middle of the ocean with a monstrous sea monster underwater. What are we going to do?" A frantic Cody asked.

"Hey look over there!" Cried Sierra pointing to the fisherman's boat. "I can see Duncan, Alejandro, and Trent on that fishing boat. We're going to be rescued!"

"Hopefully before that squid makes another appearance." Said Gwen looking around at the water. "This isn't good, its too quiet. Where is it?"

"Let's hope it gave up and decided to go home." Said Sierra.

Suddenly, a dark shadow came to view underwater. Right underneath the boat to be exact. Seeing the giant shadow under their boat Sierra and Cody started to panic again. The fisherman's boat could not get here sooner.

~Cody's Confession~

"Okay so there we were in the boat about to be attacked by a giant squid. Was I scared? Yes. Was I going to scream? Yes. Did I went my swim trunks? Well...(embarrassed) Yes."

~Confession Over~

"Hurry up with the rescue! That giant seafood platter is right under us!" Heather cried out to the guys on the fishing boat. "I'd like to get out of here sometime between now and today!"

Just as she had finished that remark the giant squid made its first appearance. I'm talking an actual appearance where everyone can see the whole creature. Not just tentacles, tentacles don't count. It emerged from the water with a strong force of speed. Lifting the boat the Platypus' and Chef were in p in the air. I'm talking they flew up in a similar way to one of those slingshot rides where people get shot up then come falling back down. Only this time nobody is safe. As soon as the boat flew in the air so did everyone in it.

Everyone scattered in different directions. Flying in the air for a short while till gravity took over plummeting everyone into the water. The sounds of loud splashes echoed through the air till everything was still. Took a short while for everyone to reach the surface but they were alive, for now. The boat was broken in pieces spread out and floating in the water. The only hope for escape now was the fishing boat. That is if the fisherman could steer the boat round the colossus squid and pick everyone up without stopping. Its a good thing he had three extra sets of hands to help.

"Aw man we have to hurry and grab everyone before that squid does." Said Trent who was one of the few witnesses on the boat to see what had happened.

"Arrgh! This be no ordinary squid lad." Began the fisherman. "We're dealing with the most terrifying of all sea creature that ever came to existence. One we sea men talk rapidly about though we never actually saw it before, until now. Never thought I'd live to see it."

"Exactly what are you talking about?" Asked Alejandro.

"Arrgh what am I talking about? What do you think I'm talking about boy? I'm talking about the kraken." Said the fisherman. "We're dealing with the king of all sea monsters. One that won't hesitate to eat your friends unless we get them out of the water right now."

"Then step on it! We need to put this ship in high gear and get everyone out of the water pronto!" Duncan explained.

"Arrgh I'm trying lad but I'm going as fast as I can go. This old girl ain't as strong as she use to be arrgh."

The boys could only stand on the sidelines and wait as the boat sped through the water to pick up the floaters. From what the boys could see from the boat the Platypus' and Chef weren't separated far out in the water. If they boys could reach out on the sides of the boat they could grab their floating teammates from the water. The boys spread out on both sides of the boat, leaned out as far as they could, one arm out at the ready while the other held the boat railing. All set to grab when near a teammate in need.

As for the floating Platypus gang and Chef they were trying to avoid any more unexpected surprises, or unexpected tentacles. Just as the fishing boat was about to reach its first floater a giant tentacle emerged from the water. It leaned back getting ready to strike. The fishing boat would have been in the way if not for a certain mammal jumping into action.

Doo-bee-doo-bee-doo-bah

Doo-bee-doo-bee-doo-bah

Agent P!

He sprung into action despite the danger that awaited. Jumping onto one of the pieces of board from the previous boat Perry used it as a surfing board to glide through the water. Using the current from the tentacle Perry was gliding to the rescue. Even when the current died down he used his beaver tail as a jet engine to propel through the water and perform some daring rescues.

While Perry was rescuing the floating teens and Chef, Bugs, I mean Mr. B came out of hiding, gathered the boys and together they readied the spear gun that just so happened to be attached to the back of the ship. They were going to attack the kraken to keep it from attacking. Sure the spear gun would have to be reeled back in but it would be worth it if they could inflict any damage to the kraken.

Too make a long story short you could guess that Perry surfed around the waters grabbing the teens and Chef. Not at the same time he was on a small board. He had to take trips grabbing people, beaver propelling back to the ship, dropping off the person he rescued and doing it all over again. He managed to get Gwen, Cody, and Sierra onto the boat. Three down, three to go. He would have to make haste for the kraken was ready to hit the water with his tentacle(s). If that wasn't bad enough the song chime went off. Despite the situation Chris needed a song.

Here we go...

Duncan: Danger's all around us we're about to get creamed.

Trent: We better hurry and get out of the way.

Alejandro: The kraken isn't playing, he wants us dead.

Mr. B: Uh I'm not much of a singer but okay here goes nothing. (clears his throat) We need to stop the kraken. The kraken~ The kraken~ We need to stop the kraken or we'll go down in flames. Uh sort to speak. Say how long do these songs usually last? I'm not complaining but we need to save those guys. (points out Becky, Heather, and Chef.)

"He's right, screw this stupid song. We've got to save the others." Said Duncan. "Hey platypus agent watch out!"

A tentacle was following Perry around in the water. Luckily Perry was moving fast enough to avoid the tentacle but it was actually going after the others who were still in the water. All three were screaming, swimming away the best they could. Using whatever strength they had left in them. The tentacle would had gotten them had it not been for the spear gun that hit the kraken right through the eye. The creature let out a hideous screech then plummeted into the water creating a huge splash that would had gotten Chef, Heather, and Becky had it not been for Perry's quick thinking.

He surfed on the board through the wave grabbing hold of all three remaining floaters, or rather he had Becky hold onto him while seated on the board and he help Chew and Heather's arms. They surfed through the giant wave while the fishing vessel did its own surfing maneuver. Landing on the beach miraculously in one piece with everyone on board still alive and in one piece. Perry and the others were floated onto the shore joining the others. Followed by many beach goers and the rest of the Drama gang. Everyone started cheering and clapping for the survivors and the heroic platypus for defeating the kraken.

"Well I think its clear that although that wasn't exactly how the challenge was suppose to go; the Crystal Platypus' and Chef survival against that giant squid was more than enough of a win." Began Chris stepping up to the Platypus team. "Congratulations to the crystal Platypus' and of course Agent P."

Everyone went into a thunderous applause.

"And a special thanks to Duncan, Alejandro, Trent, Mr. B, and the fisherman guy for their daring rescue and a direct bullseye on that one eyes monster."

Another thunderous applause.

"And as an added bonus, nobody is getting voted out today. Due to that unexpected attack and because no one else actually got to do the challenge. So tomorrow they'll be a new challenge. What will it be? Who will come out victorious and who will be getting the boot? Tune in next time on Total. Drama. World Tour!"

And Done!
