Investigation:
Danzo's day had been normal he performed his morning routine and then he went to his underground base and oversaw the training of his operatives. It never crossed his mind once that the Kyubi brat had survived the attack he'd orchestrated against her, or that one of his hired goons had snitched on him.
It was not until he was back at his home that he was alerted to him being in trouble. He had just put on his tea when his front door busted open; turning around, he was shocked to see six of Tsunade's Anbu standing there with their swords drawn. The old war hawk stuttered, "What is the meaning of this?!" he asked/ demanded of the Anbu.
An Anbu that was wearing a hawk mask stepped forward, "Danzo Shimura, under orders of Lady Tsunade we are to search your private residence along with seizing control of your Root operatives," he said.
Danzo growled, the Anbu's lack of his title did not go unnoticed, "On what charge?! I have done nothing to deserve such treatment!" he said, his voice angry.
Hawk stepped into the house and signaled for his team to begin their search, "You are under arrest for committing treason against the Hokage and for attacking fellow shinobi, Naru Uzumaki," he said.
Danzo could have shat himself at that moment as he wasn't expecting that answer, "What? I've never touched the girl," he said.
An Anbu wearing a bear mask that had been searching his covered stopped and stared at him, "That's not what a witness said," he said.
Danzo growled, "Well your witness is lying and why the hell are you searching my covered's for?" he asked.
Hawk looked at him, "We have orders to search your home from top to bottom. If you're uncomfortable watching this, you might be more comfortable waiting at the TI department," he said.
Danzo looked at him angrily, "I'm not going anywhere but to the Hokage Tower. I'm going to give Tsunade a piece of my mind," he said.
Hawk shook his head, "I don't think you're understanding Shimura, you're not allowed to leave this house unless it's to the TI department," he said.
Danzo huffed, "Fine! But I assure you you're not going to find anything, and hey! be careful with that tea set it was a gift from the fire daimyo," he said growling at the bear masked Anbu.
Bear looked at him tempted to drop the set just to be an ass since he had never liked Danzo but he would be a professional about it. So instead he placed the set at the end of the counter and then while he pretended to search through his arm up and accidentally caused the tea set to fall off the counter, breaking it.
Danzo's face turned red making up his mind he was going to get back at Tsunade for this. He glared at Hawk, "I'm warning you, Hawk, you and your men will pay for this intrusion," he said.
Hawk didn't even react he just continued overseeing his men searching, " Your threats are empty Danzo san, only Lady Tsunade has the power to punish me and my men and we aren't doing anything she hasn't ordered," he said.
Danzo gritted his teeth knowing he was right, he had no power to discipline the Anbu that served directly under Tsunade. "Well, I can assure you anbu san that your search is for nothing! You aren't going to find anything," he said, rather smugly.
Just then a Kitsune masked anbu came out of one of the back rooms, "Uh Sir, you better come here," he said signaling for Hawk to follow him.
Hawk nodded and grabbed Danzo's arm, "Why don't we see what my teammates found together, eh?" he said.
The two walked into the bedroom together and Danzo could have cursed his luck. The Anbu had found his secret room where he kept his files on all the shinobi in the village, papers he wasn't authorized to have. At that exact moment as if his luck couldn't get any worse Bear walked into the room holding the Hokage's stolen seal, "Captain, I found this in his pantry," he said.
Hawk looked at Danzo, "I think it's time we go to TI," he said.
Danzo could think of only one word, "Shit!"
