JD is admitted to the hospital with a serious head injury, with a funny story behind it. A story of how in the throes of passion with a random guy he hit his head hard enough to break it open and passes out. But of course, not before he shouted: "Call Doctor Cox!" "Do you...do you ever wonder what the universe tastes like? Like if you could taste it…" It takes a moment before Perry realizes what JD has just asked him. He moves his gaze from the television to the younger man sitting beside him, noting that JD avoids looking at him at first.

"I just wanted to fit in you know" she whispered "It's hard being me in a neighbourhood like that... Sacred Heart...It gives me a good break" Cox makes an unexpected friend leaving all of Sacred Heart curious to why he begins to stop taunting the doctors and nurses because of this young girl. Will this friendship last? or will their pride get in the way?

"So I decided to do it like Virginia Woolf; I walked into a lake and tried to drown myself. Got up early on a Saturday, put on my bikini..." Oneshot.

When a shooting victim comes into Sacred Heart and is J.D.'s patient will a new friendship arise?
