Mark sank down in the chair. Helplessness. He finally put a name to it, the emotion he felt daily as Roger suffered on. Roger felt a pang of guilt as he saw the tear tracks on Mark’s face. Guilt wasn't an unfamiliar emotion for him. Roger's final days.
