No matter how hard he tries, he cannot ignore or escape from the pain. It doesn't help that he faces adversity left and right due to what happened, and it is all he can do to keep his composure. 6. Author's Note

Hello, everyone. This is just going to be brief author's note, one I meant to add at the end of chapter five.

I was thinking about writing a brief short on the reactions of Wei Wuxian's friends - and perhaps a few other characters, not sure yet - after they found out about what Wen Chao did to him. If I do, would you prefer it to be written in a separate story, or as part of a side chapter or a series of epilogues?
